Cold hazbin hotel swaps not only Emily and Charlie as protagonists, but also the roles their parents play! In my perfect world Sara is Emily’s mom and you can rip it from my cold dead hands. Lucifer this time round stays close to gods orders and ignores the first couple, Sara on the other hand saw the injustice of Adam’s power over Lilith and was smited down with the sins.

Recently hell has begun to get colder and colder, and Emily is starting work as a sinner case worker! She and Sara are super close so the longer they are apart the weather seems to get worse!

I don't know a lot about Angel Lore, but I imagine Lucifer knew Emily when she was pretty young. From there, all she's ever heard about him was the stories about him. So, of course, she's nervous and uncertain on how he'll react.

But Lucifer isn't the person Heaven made him out to be. He sees himself in her, sees how much of her joy that heaven has already stamped out. He knows what it means to Fall. So he offers this girl, who reminds him so much of Charlie, sanctuary. And maybe has her sign adoption papers later lol

So here's something interesting I just thought of:

It seems pretty clear at this point that Charlie and Vaggie have some interesting parallels to Lucifer and Lilith, really in both directions: A Fallen Angel (Vaggie/Lucifer) falling in love with a (daughter of a) human sinner (Charlie/Lilith), or alternatively (assuming Vaggie was originally human) a Fallen Angel (Charlie/Lucifer) falling in love with a human woman (Vaggie/Lilith)

So now I'm wondering...

What if Emily is going to be this pair's parallel/foil to EVE?

Like just going off episode 6, we already have a very notable parallel:

Lucifer, as heaven would try to frame it, 'tempted Eve with forbidden knowledge'

And in this episode, we see Charlie reveal to Emily a TRUTH long hidden from her.

Add on to this the possibility of Emily also becoming a fallen angel and joining Charlie and Vaggie in Hell, and I think the parallels are already VERY strong.

Like I think it's all too easy to imagine Lilith, Lucifer and Eve turning out to be a failed/broken polycule, with Lilith and Lucifer having tried to welcome Eve into their relationship only for things to go terribly wrong (also, HELLO possible parallels/foils to Blitzo, Moxxie and Millie), so perhaps Charlie, Vaggie and Emily could end up representing a 'succeeding where their predecessors failed' foil to that as well.

Let's make our own fate

Needed practice with Alastor's colors before going at it with the wip piece I have (which ironically enough is another red string of fate piece). But while I do oh so enjoy Alastor being an independent mammal who doesn't need no mate, I 100% still have fun shipping with him myself from time to time. And this ship is probably my favorite with him (and y'know what, you can take this as a QPR thing or romance thing, why not?)! And, might I add, severely underrated when it has elements of radiobelle, radioapple, and radiostatic (in terms of colors at least) wrapped up together- HOW ARE PEOPLE SLEEPING ON THIS SHIP HELLO???

Joking aside, Emily and Alastor are in a weird place for me where I like them in this ship dynamic (QPR or romantic), but I also like them in a dynamic similar to what Alastor and Charlie have if you're going the mentor-protege route or parent-child route. Which is a very strange to like those two very opposing dynamics (primarily the lovey dovey and parent-child aspects because y'know... )

I don't imagine these two will really interact much in canon, but I really would love to see how their interactions would go down and if they'd be at all different from how Charlie and Alastor interact (seeing as Emily and Charlie are a wee bit similar y'know?)

Hypothetical Fallen Angel Emily! Because this angst would not leave my brain. It hurts to leave heaven, but she won't be alone. If Emily was cast from heaven, I think the hotel would welcome her with open arms...

Okay so I've seen a fair bit of speculation that Satan or any of the other Sins not mentioning Lucifer by name this episode indicates that Helluva Boss can't show or mention Lucifer directly due to legal/copyright reasons from Amazon, which itself doesn't really make sense given that Hazbin is actually produced by A24 and Amazon is simply the distributor.

But I think this should be a pretty clear indicator that HB can in fact mention Lucifer by name.

Also, a Goetia swearing by Lucifer in the same way we've seen Imps swear by Satan, in the same episode we learn that Satan created the Imps, is rather interesting.

I mean, does anyone else remember how Sera and Emily had avian forms oddly similar to many of the Goetia we've seen?
