Seeing a lot of people start hate on Helluva and how it portrays Greed compared to Lust And Gluttony, so let’s get into my 2 cents. This may be controversial, but I do think Helluva portrayed the sins well and here’s why.

Yes, on the outside, Mammon is definitely the most asshole of the sins we’ve seen so far, but this DOESN’T mean that Bee or even Ozzie are angels.

First of all, Bee ONLY stopped Blitz because he was indulging for PRIDE, not for Gluttony. With all of her other guests, she was more than okay with letting them get complete shit faced to a destructive degree.

As for Ozzie, it’s been proven via “Ozzie’s” that he okay with cheating, going so far as to praise Stolas for it. He’s aware Stolas risked everything for the affair, and praised him for doing so. He straight up encourages people to be as kinky and as nasty as they possibly can. Basically for him, if it’s consensual, go wild.

(Not to mention, he’s in a healthy, loving GAY relationship with his jester. While not inherently bad, it’s more than enough to make a deeply traditional Christian faint. Which does kind of seem to be the goal for the show.)

In the end: Ozzie and Bee are just as destructive as Mammon is. HOWEVER, they are so in a way where it’s not as obvious and they’re not as bad because of it.

Because they only fully indulge in Lust and Gluttony 110%, they’re still able to be relatively decent people because completely indulging in those sins doesn’t inherently make you an asshole. It can make you hella harmful, especially mixed with other sins, but on their own they’re somewhat manageable. (I say somewhat because again: cheating and health destruction are a thing).

Also it should be noted that despite being nice people Bee and Ozzie are still HORRIBLE influences. Like if they’re those people who your parents will disapprove of you being friends with.

But besides that, you can be lustful and gluttonous to 110% and still be a nice person to be around. Not a good person, but a nice one.

HOWEVER, you cannot be greedy to the max and be a nice person.

Here’s the thing; Mam, Bee, and Oz don’t have limits to their own sins. All 3 are still destructive as hell, it’s just that Bee and Oz’s sins allow them to have healthy relationships DESPITE that.

Bee, for all her faults, is a wild party girl. However, her gluttonous nature also allows her to completely indulge in love and affection, hence why she can have such an adorable relationship with Tex.

Ozzie is equally as wild but is also horny and kinky as fuck. But it works because Fizz is just as crazy in bed as he is, and arguably even crazier in general. Fizz is a kinky little gremlin who not only makes Ozzie laugh, but more importantly can keep up with him. That’s part of what allows them to be as happy and wholesome as they are.

Mammon however, cannot be at his sin 110% and keep a relationship. It’s just not possible and I honestly don’t think he wants a relationship with someone anyway, as that means he’d have to share something with another person, which he is simply not capable of doing.

In the end, all the sins are destructive. That’s just fact. However, because of their specific sins (and the fact that they don’t mix with the others), some are able to hold up healthier lifestyles and relationships than others.

I think with Zestial they used all of James Monroe Iglehart’s “big man” budget on Vortex and Ozzie, so for Zestial they had to make him built like a stick.

SPOILERS FOR "APOLOGY TOUR!!!"

Oh this episode hurt, especially the ending. ;_; ;_; ;_;

I figured Stolas and Blitz wouldn't be back to normal or even amicable and that Blitz would need to learn about how his past actions when it comes to relationships have hurt people, but it's just so sad to watch the consequences some to fruition. ;_; Stolas holding onto his anger and hurt from what Blitz yelled at him as well as likely still blaming himself for the arrangement is justifiable since it's barely been any time since "The Full Moon," but him still not taking Blitz point of view on the matter and realizing where he messed up too didn't aid in their progress towards coming back together; Blitz playing up that he wants to just keep things sexual between him and Stolas while mocking relationships and refusing to admit that he did any wrongdoing only exacerbated the matter. :/ I didn't expect the Striker secret to come out and I don't blame Stolas for being upset about that. :/ It's too bad Blitz ruined his apology with a f*ck you and taking his lack of apologizing as a challenge rather than an actual call to change, but I did love the little mentioning of Fizz. ;)

The apology tour Blitz did was hilarious and I love that he actually was thinking about texting Stolas an apology, but of course, he didn't since it's the one he genuinely feels bad about; the surprise cameo of Martha and Mrs. Mayberry was probably the most shocking and hilarious! XD At the party, it was crazy that Blitz had been with and hurt that many people (and that's just the ones that attended O_O), and while I'm glad Stolas got out of the palace and seemed to be enjoy Verosika's company for the most part, seeing him continually drink was heartbreaking, especially because we know he's done it before. ;_;

"All 2 U" was an amazing song with Stolas just laying out all his feelings and pain with him even seeing how his past actions were wrong/contributed to Blitz not reciprocating his feelings. It was also practically unbelievable to see just how much Blitz actually took Stolas's words to heart and legit felt terrible. I love that Blitz showed concern too for Stolas being drunk (likely thinking about Verosika getting to that point and seeing the parallels) as well as him admitting his insecurity about no one being capable of loving him; Stolas then drunkenly pointing out that them throwing a party about how much they hate him every year showed they did care enough about him at one time was funny and true. XD I definitely teared up at Stolas's confession of just being wanting to be wanted and that he didn't even need the grand show he laid out to Blitz initially; the fact that Blitz did attempt to offer comfort to Stolas before he snapped back up made me go awww so hard. ;_; ;_; ;_;

Even though Verosika had such vitriol for most of the night, the fact that she uses the parties to bring those Blitz hurt some comfort that they aren't alone and can even find someone new from those he rejected is in a way comforting; it's sad though that she got dumped for just saying she loved Blitz. ;_; I'm glad Blitz admitted he has been terrible to people and that he wants to change, which definitely made it surprising that the line from the trailer was said to Verosika and not Stolas, but the impact was still great. :)

My heart broke at that incubus asking Stolas to dance because it gave me a bad feeling and sure enough, him and Stolas kissing hurt so much even though I know Blitz and Stolas aren't together anymore right now and this is part of the consequences for Blitz's actions. Him not ruining Stolas's fun hurt as well as at the same time showed he wasn't being selfish, so progress and pain. ;_; ;_; ;_; Hopefully it'll just be a one-night stand, but who knows since Stolas does seem to still want Blitz, but having a break may help both of them work on themselves. ;_; ;_; ;_; Well, if the shorts don't add anymore to the main story, here's me looking forward to "Ghostf*ckers" in October to find out how these two will handling things/change hopefully for the better next time. <3

I’m sorry, but the fact that Ozzie and Fizz relationship being revealed to the public doesn’t feel all that impactful given how in the previous episode, it was established that everyone in Hell kind of already knew this. This moment would have felt far more impactful if folks legit didn’t have any suspicions at all over the two being a couple. Also, Mammoth saying he’ll regret this is making me question why this is a big deal but Bee being with Tex seemingly isn’t.

It’s been a few weeks since the “incident” as your coining it. Lucifer seems rather unaffected by it. He’s been love bombing you as usual. Making you food every day, buying you new gifts, tight hugs that were practically suffocating you, and he took you out for "dates" every weekend. This weekend he's taking you to the gluttony ring to look at how the hell hounds are treated.

You dressed in a pastel yellow shirt with a duck on it (of course) and flared jeans embroidered with apples on the sides (again, of course). You walked out of the room to find Lucifer waiting for you.

He squealed “You look so cute!” He hugged you and snuggled into your form.

“Stop. Touching. Me.”

He pouted, giving you puppy dog eyes. “I don’t wanna, doll!”

“I am not you doll.” You tried to push him away, but you just ended up stumbling back. “Let’s just get going to the gluttony ring.” You picked yourself up and walked towards the limo.

…

About an hour later you, Lucifer, and Beelzebub (or bee)

were sitting in a lounge overlooking a chaotic Hellhound part Bee was throwing. It was admittedly a bit uncomfortable. Lucifer and Bee were getting drunk on “honey” and you were sitting trying not to look out the window of the overhead lounge because you’d probably see people making out and/or grinding on each other.

“Hey… I’m gonna head out for some fresh air okay?” You told Lucifer.

He hugged you arm nuzzling it for a few seconds before letting you go. “Come back soon okay! I’ll find you wherever you off to!”

You stepped outside the club and checked some text messages.

“Tough night?” Someone asked from behind you. You turned around and saw a tall Hellhound with a broad muscular figure.

“You probably shouldn’t be talking to me.” You warned. His fur was black and he had a scar over his left eye.

“Okay, that’s kinda rude.” 

You roll your eyes. “It’s for your own safety. My “Fiancé” is possessive and probably wouldn’t like me talking to anyone guy.”

“You’re Lucifer’s girl aren’t you? Nice to meat you candy apple.” He smiled.

“Candy apple?” You tilted your head in confusion.

“Your jeans.” He pointed out. “Anyway I’m Vortex. Why are you out here all alone?”

“Lucifer and Bee were getting hammered and I just didn’t want to deal with that. I came out here to get away from all the noise.” You explained, just wanting to be alone right now.

“Sorry about that. Bee can get kinda rowdy at times. So you’re just out here to relax?” He asked not getting the hint.

“Yeah. It’s the only time I’ve gotten to be away from Lucifer in days. It was supposed to be alone time for me.” You said passive aggressively. Before he could respond you got the call you’ve been waiting for for months! “Sorry I have to take this!” Vortex nodded and left you to the phone call. “Hello?” You asked hesitantly.

“Hey is this Luci’s new bitch?!” The guy on the other end of the phone asked. He was loud and brash, and you remember him from your one day out doing whatever you wanted in exchange for going on a date with Lucifer.

“Yes that’s me. Did you find him, Mr. Blitz?” You asked hopeful of the outcome.

“Don’t get your panties in a twist honey, we got the guy.” He said so nonchalantly. 

“Great! Unfortunately I can’t come pick up the information about him right now. I’m… out of town on a work trip and I won’t be back until later tonight.” You explained sheepishly. 

“Yeah yeah, just come pick it up when you get the chance. I will say that it’s quite odd to have you request we track this guy down, but money is money and I’m not complaining.” You heard the squeaking of a chair in the background of the call.

“Thank you for your time Mr. Blitz.” You smiled so grateful for this.

“Thank YOU for your money.” He hung up and you went back inside to find the sins.

You were trying not to trip over limbs or bump into people. The whole place looked more like an orgy than Ozzie’s did. (But then again you weren’t exactly on the floor at Ozzie’s. There were fountains of honey, crazy ring statues, hexagonal shaped furniture, and music blaring from every corner of the place.

You made your way back up to the lounge and had to pretend like everything was normal.

Once you got there you saw a terrifying sight. A very, very drunk Lucifer whining on the couch. Once you entered his head shot up and he smiled at you. He flopped off the couch and ran to you. He leaned against you at a weird angle to press his face against your chest. His drunken rambling made no sense. He pulled you away from the door and pinned you against the wall.

“Your ssssoooo pretty~” He giggled as he slurred his words. “Fuck.” His voice came out in a whisper. “I wanna kiss you so badly!” He whined.

“You need to sober up.” You tried to get away as he held you close.

This seemed to be a running trend in your “relationship with the king of hell huh? He’d do something awful and make you super uncomfortable. Then he would apologize and love-bomb you with presents as an apology, promising to change and be better. But he never has, he never will.

“You’re so perfect! You’ll never go away~” He said sloppily. He giggled at you as you looked dully at him.

Maybe there was no escaping him, but that didn’t mean you couldn’t, wouldn’t, and shouldn’t try. There was nothing that bounded you to him. Renesmee and Nina were lovely to hang out with and be around but Styx and Pluto weren’t exactly the most welcoming of people to be around. It was suffocating.

“We need to get you some water.” You tried to step away again he he just held you in place against the wall and kissed you.

“No! I don’t want any water when I have the sweetest taste I could ever have here in my hands. You’re lips are like ambrosia, Darling. I need to taste them over and over. I need your kisses more than I need to breath!”

You wanted to cry. In any other context this would have been so sweet and romantic. If only he hadn’t taken you and violated you with his wants and desires every chance he got. He would have been such a sweetheart and a hopeless romantic if you two had met under normal circumstances. But instead he is forcing you to be his wife.

“We’re leaving.” You said as you grabbed his arm.

“I don’t wanna go!” He whined and struggled as you dragged him outside and away from the rest of the party.

“You need to sober up before you get a hangover tomorrow and become even more needy and “affectionate”. If you can even call it that.” People cheered as they saw you two leaving. You wondered if they actually thought he was a good king or if they were just kissing up to him. If it was the first option then why? He profited from a system that was built to keep them down. 

You threw him in the back seat of the car and climbed in after him. Eventually the car drove off and you were making your way back to the Pride ring. The car ride was silent as you stared out the window and Lucifer slept with his head on your lap.

Eventually you saw something that shocked and disturbed you.

A small Samoyed hell hound was being held down and muzzled… “Stop the car!” The driver stopped at your command.

You ran out and ran towards the small creature. You gently scooped the pup into your arms and glared at the bigger Hell hounds trying to take this poor creature away.

“WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?” You yelled in rage.

“None of your business! Now step aside!” One of them yelled. You held your ground and refused to let go of the poor little creature.

“It’s okay little one. Nothing is going to harm you while I’m here.”

“While we’re here…” Lucifer came out from the car unexpectedly. “I may have a killer headache but I know when my girls in danger. You come at my wife you fuck with me. And I don’t like getting fucked…” he spoke in a menacing tone as his horns grew out of head, with the new addition of a big black spot on his horns that weren’t originally there. His wings sprouted from his back. “Go to the car doll.”

“No.”

“Doll…”

You grabbed his hand and pulled both him and the puppy to to car. “Call up Bee and tell her we’re adopting this Hellhound. What’s your name little one?” You pulled them both into the limo.

“I don’t have one.” The sweet Samoyed revealed as Lucifer called Beelzebub.

“Are you a boy or a girl?”

“I’m a boy…”

“I’m gonna name you Guinefort after the folk hero! I’ll call you Guinea for short! You’re like a cute little guinea pig!” You smiled and booped his nose.

“What’s a guinea pig?” He tilted his head.

“Not important right now. How do you feel about your name?” He cringed at it. “Not a fan huh? How about… Gelert! No? Shippeitaro? Samara? Raiju?” You thought for a moment longer. “…hm. Fenrir?”

“That one!” He clapped.

You smiled. “That’s a beautiful name.” You kissed him forehead.

Yes, earlier you we’re talking about how you had nothing to tie you down to hell but… what were you supposed to do? Let him die? Or whatever they would’ve done to him? No… one step at a time you were going to start to change hell while you could. Even if you wouldn’t stick around to see the improvement it would make for its citizens.

“I promise Fenrir, as long as I’m with you nothing bad will ever happen to you again.

Given that we saw massive parallels between "The Circus" and "The Full Moon," I'm thinking that "Apology Tour" will have parallels with "Ozzie's."

The color of the light and overall palette of the scene that Stolas is in in "Apology Tour" is practically identical except instead of hiding from it, he's prominently on stage where he may very well sing about his woes (both with Stella and what he's currently dealing with after breaking up with Blitz) and the joy that Blitz gave him when they were together.

Plus, with Verosika being there, she's going to drag Blitz in song form just like she did in "Ozzie's," so maybe Stolas will actually defend Blitz this time (or may abstain all together) since he did get up ready protect him before he got spotted by Ozzie. :/ It'd be interesting if Blitz winds up trying to defend Stolas if people don't like the song he's singing as it may not fit the vibe of the "Blitzo Sucks" banner in back. :/

Also:

"Ozzie's" is also when Stolas had his moment of clarity on how he needed to change their arrangement in order to have a real relationship and not a transactional one as well as see how much he hurt Blitz by appearing to only be interested in him for sex. In "Apology Tour," Blitz will now see what he needs to do in order to be a better partner to Stolas in that he needs to be more emotionally vulnerable and not treat Stolas like he's some unfeeling person that he can use just for his own benefit. (He did sneak into Stolas's place just to steal from him -_-).

Can't wait to find out either way and hopefully progress will be made with these two. ;) ^_^ <3<3<3

⋆｡˚ 「 Bad Trip 」 ⋆｡˚

◉ Sinopsis; comforting you after indulging too much during your first ever session

◉ CW; weed, anxiety attacks

◉ A/n- I know I said I was gonna work on event requests, but this one just came in, and I was immediately inspired. I get to draw from my personal experience, too lol- and write for Vortex. It's a good day. Enjoy!

◉ Feat; Blitz, Moxxie, Beelzebub, Vortex

It was your first time experimenting with weed. It started out pretty well! But then, the room starts to spin, and you notice it's getting harder to breathe. Your eyes and mouth are dry, and you think.. maybe you've had a bit too much.

Blitz is observant about those he cares about, so when your eyes are red and your breathing becomes more shallow, he knows exactly what's happening. To help you sober up faster, Blitz encourages you to eat and drink whatever you can. Using his spare blankets, he wraps you up and guides you to the bed, where you can get more comfortable. The room is spinning, and your thoughts are racing, so Blitz turns on the TV as a distraction from any negative thoughts you're having. While this is something he's also experienced before, Blitz still has the audacity to make jokes about your lower tolerance, but it doesn't go on for too long. If you start to have a panic attack, Blitz won't be super helpful at first. He'll be overwhelmed and unsure how to comfort you, so he might snap a bit. Although he's not the best with verbal comfort, you can be sure he won't leave you alone.

Moxxie doesn't really smoke, so if you're participating, he's your designated sober person. While, of course, he's kinda awkward, he's much more well-versed in comforting his loved ones. As someone who has had his fair share of panic attacks, he realizes pretty quickly when you've had too much. Because of Moxxie's own anxiety, he overthinks and isn't great with verbal comfort, but he's all for acts of service and physical affection. He'll put a hand on your back to keep you grounded, have stim toys for distractions, and constantly offer to get you anything you need. The constant fussing might be overwhelming, though. One way Moxxie comforts himself is by listening to music, so he might pop on one of his playlists as background noise. Until he's sure you're safe and in a good headspace, Moxxie won't leave your side, and he'll do anything to make sure you're okay.

Beelzebub is probably the reason you over-indulged, to be completely honest. Love her, but her tolerance is way above everyone else's, and she doesn't factor that in when she's encouraging you to smoke. Since she can taste people's energy, she's the quickest to know when something is off. Bee has had her fair share of people going overboard at parties and knows how to help people come down from a bad high- food, water, and laughter. She's big on the whole 'laughter is the best medicine" thing, so she uses humor to try and help you feel better. She'd probably put on a rom-com or comedy show and sling an arm around your shoulders. Her focus on comedy doesn't make her attempts any less sincere. Sessions like this should be fun, and she wants you to have good memories, even if the experience wasn't perfect.

Vortex is a sweetheart but kind of oblivious. He's focused on having a good time- not that he's neglecting you. He just always assumes you're having a good time, too. He'll pick up if things are going wrong, but you'll have to verbalize exactly what's happening so he knows how to help. He's the kind to pull you somewhere quiet and help you focus on breathing. His voice is soft as he explains that experiences like this are totally normal and that you'll be okay. While Tex doesn't want to minimize what you're going through, he doesn't want you to get stuck focusing on the negative. Dude also for sure gives the best hugs. The perfect combination of gentle but grounding. Vortex loves parties, sessions, hang outs, etc- and is all about having a safe, good time with everyone. He assures you that despite all that's happening after you feel better, everything will be okay again.
