a LOT and i mean a LOT of super popular creators get into every au competition, so i wanted to host one for the less popular people! that way, there's a relatively fair chance for everybody. (this blog isn't intented to shame anyone/be negative! i just thought it'd be refreshing to have a competition consisting of small creators)

YOUR AU WILL GET IN IF:

it is submitted at least two times

you have less than ~700 (active) followers

your au fanfic has less than ~500 kudos

you have some form of content for it posted

or you have little to no fanart/fan creations

your most popular au related post has less than 300 total reblogs

that's it! submissions will be open until MARCH 1ST

one au per creator! if two or more aus from the same creator are submitted, i will pick one to put into the competition (if applicable)

don't submit your own au more than twice

Asking some AU comp competitors & supporters:

- Are there any AUs you weren't familiar with that have recently caught your attention, or that you would like to learn more about?

- What are some AUs/fanworks that you enjoy, and would encourage more people to go check out? (Doesn't have to be in the comp!)

A few that I found via the polls are teetlez-verse by @shiveagit, Reptile Cunumdrum by @fairydragon and Grown Apart by @chiscribbs. Most of the other AUs had passed my radar (I'm on tumblr way too much, lol) so finding some very well crafted AUs that I hadn't found yet was nice.

Anything by @amevello-blue is awesome, but Ghost in the Shell and The Great Skittle Heist of 2105 are my favorites.

And this one is a little older but I love The Blood in My Veins AU, where Leo is the only turtle and everyone else is humans and it's SUPER well written.

TMNT AU COMP 2024

The spider-fam picked up huge readings of muta-nomalies all converging in one place and are tasked to figure out this 'whole situation' before it becomes.....a situation. ♥Slider-punk ♣Spider-shine ♦Spider-gal ♠Spider-Dee and cameos if you can spot them.

The last couple of days, we had a gala event in the server to celebrate our one year anniversary! The mods created and shared a lot of awards, but I couldn’t not post this one for @shiveagit’s Spiderverse AU!! We voted it as fanfav AU in the server and it’s so well-deserved. Watta’s made some really good designs for it and has done a really great job incorporating as many rise characters as possible! Honestly, I definitely recommend checking it out, Watta also has such a really good art style ajshsjs.
