idk if that's on topic but

something i learned as an alternative person with sensory issues - if u have problems with wearing some accessories, necklaces, layers etc, but you're still a maximalist and want your outifts to look awesome, u can sew on your comfy clothes a lot of patches, can tabs, add keychains and charms, paint something on (if u don't like the texture of paint i recommend bleach!) and suddenly you're the coolest bitch in town with minimal effort (i mean, u need to put effort to make cool clothes, but later u just put them on ans don't have to spend ages getting ready).

i have one old hoodie that used to be my brother's and pretty basic and now it looks very fun, i still add things to it, and it's also comfy af

plus DIY is punk af

even a plain black hoodie gets much more interesting with a backpatch or smth

and!!! if u wear it a lot and it's desheveld and shit, it just looks more cool 👍

LOTS OF PUNK STAMPS! (part 1)

Here we are with another part of music genre stamps. Just like the goth stamps i made, its a "my favorite genre is in this stamp" + aesthetic stamp combo.

Punk genres listed for this batch, because theres so many punk genres

Anarcho-Punk (i.e. Crass, Rudimentary Peni, The Mob, Lost Cherrees)

Celtic Punk - punk + celtic music (i.e. Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly)

Chain Punk - from the meme involving "chain vs egg punk". Has more hardcore punk roots, aggressive

Egg punk - from the meme involving "chain vs egg punk". Quite similar to synth punk due to usage of synths.

Crust punk (i.e. Nausea, Axegrinder, Doom, Deviated Instinct. Aus Rotten)

D-Beat - artwork inspired by those "d beat album covers that has band members censored eyes". Bands like Discharge (where the genre name is from), Anti Cimex, Driller Killer

Emo/Emotional Hardcore (more focused on bands like Rites of Spring, American Football, Jimmy Eat World, and all of those stuff. I'll try to make a different emo stamp for the likes of MCR, Fall Out Boy, and Paramore)

Folk Punk (i.e. Pat the Bunny, Days n Daze, Mischief Brew)

Grindcore - even it's more related to metal. I decided to include here since it was rooted from hardcore punk. Example bands: Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror

Digital Hardcore - electronic music + hardcore punk. Some mostly use guitars (i.e. Rabbit Junk) and some will have mostly electronic sounds than guitar (i.e. Machine Girl). Decided to have more cyberpunk aesthetic for this, 'cause it sounds like stuff you play in middle of a fight in a cyberpunk world

Hardcore Punk - apparently "hardcore" can mean different music genres (Beatdown hardcore is one of it but theres also hardcore techno), but lets focus on the punk. Bands like Bad Brains, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, and Minor Threat.

Horror Punk - spooky punk music. (i.e. Blitzkid, Misfits, Calabrese)

Oi! (i.e. Oi Polloi, Angelic Upstarts, Camera Silens)

Punk Rock - supposedly for the classic punk rock sound but stamp can be used for punk rock in general. Example bands: The Clash, Ramones, Sex Pistols

Ska punk (i.e. Operation Ivy, Less than Jake, Against all Authority)

Skate Punk - something you have heard on Tony Hawk pro skater games. Anyway... bands like NOFX, Suicidal Tendencies (also metal), Pennywise

Street Punk (i.e. GBH, Varukers, UK Subs)

Synth Punk (i.e the Screamers, Suicide, Devo)

Got some punk albertan critters sticker designs done! all native species except the rat (iykyk) and my cat.... Might have more. A punk house is a magical place. Like, no really it is. The one I spend time at, it's down in Florida and it's one of the only music venues in the city that's not centered around sex or drinking. It's run by local queer punks, there's a "dorm" where you can sleep if you're having a a bad time at home, there's space for traveling bands to spend the night after a show, there's a community garden and a pop up shop and once it's autumn there's a bonfire most nights. We see so many shows there, and hang out and do art together, and recently we had a big fundraiser to keep it there another year. It was my band's biggest show we've ever played and it was the best time ever <3

urban anarchist type autism is i know all the plants on my home street i recognize all common graffiti tags and i have favourites

i can tell you 16 places off the top of my head that the tag "333" in this one specific archaic style is found

i notice new tags, i see you unheard souls

i watch the tiny sapling, canadian maple, it has spent months trying to force its way through sidewalk concrete and i'd try and rehome it if its roots weren't caught there underneath

i have the city council queer representation person on e-mail speed dial, i carry 12 types of pen to cover up hateful graffiti and i carry industrial cleaner and a scraper to get rid of bigoted stickers and nazi propaganda

and in an envelope that i was given by my lover/friend i carry uncountable amounts of stickers

the cops stop me for random "check ins" when they see me remove graffiti and i'm white and i'm aware of what that privilege means, despite the tattoos on my fingers and all the things inside my bag i have never been arrested

and i have brought you food when you were sick, i took the city bus with tea and vegan ginger soup to help you rest and cure

and i have fixed a bench myself with my own hands and tighter screws when it came clear that between the city council and the store in front of which it stands nobody owned it and therefore noone cares that senior citizens could injure themselves sitting on a broken bench

and on another street the senior citizen residence, they know me cause i've asked for their maintenance ladder to remove some fascist shit high up on a streetlight right outside their building

i count the seasons based on what the bramble hedges do

and every full moon new i silently rejoice, O Máni, that the wolves have not yet caught you
