This is an updated list of events for the Forever Canadian Petition as of Saturday Morning so its a little behind- you can check forever-canadian.ca and the various facebook pages (forever canadian is the main one and if you search around you can find a general volunteer page to join and some regions like yyc or medicine hat have pages as well) - there is new pop up info scatteted everywhere all the time as it is a citizen led volunteer run initiative!

if you have any specific location or time requests ill do a skim and see but i probably wont update this list till monday. I can also help connect people to home visits in some cases if you trust me with your info :)

Alberta! Do u wanna sign the referendum petition? scroll down to find where.

what it is: We need 300,000 signatures, in person, by 18+ registered voters in alberta to get the question "do you think alberta should remain in canada" (i may be misquoting that slightly) on a referendum ballot.

Does that sound silly? of course it fucking does. but seperatists are awaiting approval for their own ballot petition that only needs about half that (177 i think?) signatures for "do you think alberta should seperate." and we all know danielle is just jumping to be able to put that on a vote and use it to further her political aspirations of becoming privitized to the max and the 51st. So! Sign this one instead so we can send her a big ol middle finger and throw rocks into her plans.

Where and when can you sign? people are registering with elections canada regularly to be allowed to take signatures officially and hosting events; im tracking it religiously. This is what I have currently:

Got some punk albertan critters sticker designs done! all native species except the rat (iykyk) and my cat.... Might have more. If u have the capability or know a printer who does single/small jobs feel free to use for personal use (like dont get 100 made but a couple for u and a friend w.e.). Not to sell. At the gate for my flight home from visiting friends and there's a woman here with a service Shiba Inu. No pics because he has a Do Not Disturb vest and taking pics of strangers is illegal but I need to stress how ON DUTY this animal is. Ears up. Eyes doing Lazer scans of everything. Examining everyone who passes within 10ft like a security guard. Ass planted on her feet. I have never seen a dog with such intense chivalric guardian energy before. He has tiny eyebrows and they are FURROWED with concentration.

weekend things that were good; finished carving lil ratties for my wet specimen prints, discovered i can cook pancakes inside my cat face cookie cutter, and finished refurbin some frames i slapped canvas in to paint later to tie the new corner my studio is in together

i read 1 sad thing about whales and all the mental health i gained over the long weekend is reset back to doom depression
