Here comes another platonic AU I was interested in Percy's future children and how they would deal with the bi-racial culture that combining Percy's marriage with any yandere would bring upon the children

Percy is loved for being herself and that means she can indulge in her human culture without any problems because the gods find her values ​​and beliefs adorable but any children she has will not have that same privilege

Any child independent of his father will be raised as a God and if he is expected to behave like a worthy God, it would be totally confusing for the child to see people loving his mother for her humanity only to criticize and punish that child whenever he shows any hint of resemblance to his own mother

i still think the worst jgy meta is the victim blaming madam qin one

If we're thinking of the same meta--the one that goes into detail about how long the betrothal/wedding planning process would have likely gone on for--then that meta is SUPREMELY frustrating to me, because the information it brings up is worth considering, but then it draws the conclusion that "Madam Qin is the real cause of the problem here!" which is both victim-blaming and oversimplifies the whole tragedy.

The tragedy of Qin Su is that multiple people close to her decided that she shouldn't know a critical piece of information about herself. If it were just JGY, I think her reaction wouldn't have been as intense as it is, but when QS receives Bicao's letter, she receives with it the knowledge that Bicao, JGY, and her mother have all withheld this from her, and she'll never get closure on it because her mother is dead and JGY is insisting that she carry on like it never happened. QS deserved to know! This was a breach of her trust!

But at the same time, you understand why everyone makes the choices they do, and why they believe that QS will be better off not knowing. In Madam Qin's case, we can assume that she fears for the damage to QS's reputation and prospects in even a best-case scenario if she comes forward. It's fully possible that Qin Cangye could disown QS since she is not his child, or (if QCY is a real one and stands by his wife) that the Qin clan as a whole would suffer retribution from JGS for besmirching his name, since he's Chief Cultivator and they don't have any concrete proof. Madam Qin also would have feared for herself. I mean, we don't know what kind of many QCY was. He could've killed his wife for committing adultery, for all we know! Or JGS could've had her killed to shut her up! Fearing for herself isn't a moral failing!

Understanding how protracted the wedding process would have been just drives home how horrifically trapped Madam Qin must have felt. She's kept the secret of her rape for two decades, and now it's coming back to hurt her in brand new ways, and she feels so powerless that she can't do anything but watch it happen until finally, at the very last minute, she works up the courage to talk to the one man in the situation who doesn't hold authority over her (and is therefore a safer bet)... and it's too late, because her daughter is already pregnant,* and to call off the wedding now would obliterate her reputation even without the incest.

Now she has to live with the regret of not acting differently on top of everything else. It's haunting. It's awful. It's not something to point at and judge her about. And I think it's telling that, IIRC, JGY himself doesn't ever blame her, either. There is no "how dare you blame me when her own mother didn't tell her!" or "I wouldn't have done it if Madam Qin had spoken up sooner!" Instead, he simply states that Madam Qin, like him, was afraid of JGS, shutting down any questioning of either of them. JGY places the ultimate blame for all of this firmly at his father's feet, and that's where it belongs.

*(It should go without saying that I'm talking about my understanding of the novel here, because the show makes the deeply cursed choice to cut the whole premarital pregnancy thing. But it's still JGS's fault there too, and I wrote character study fic about it once if you want to have a bad time.)

Hello :) i’m totally not procrastinating on an essay to answer this

I don’t have any super detailed headcanons about them, sorry about that, but here’s what i have:

I think Curufin was, generally speaking, a pretty decent father. There’s never any moments where he is deliberately and maliciously nasty to Celebrimbor, he’s actually a bit overprotective with him. He likes spending time with baby Celebrimbor and teaching him forge craft, and of course daily grandpa visits are absolutely mandatory. Fëanor had a really good relationship with him (“oh my god he looks just like you Curvo he’s so cute”)

That said, Curufin also isn’t a particularly great father. Fëanor’s insanely high expectations carried over to Curufin with his son, and compliments from Curufin are quite rare (but still more common than Fëanor). While he isn’t deliberately horrible to Celebrimbor, he’s still said some pretty horrible things that he immediately regretted after seeing Celebrimbor’s upset face.

Curufin also has a habit of drilling into Celebrimbor that he is better than all the otber kids and must carry himself a certain way so they know he’s their superior. Whether or not this worked, we will never know

He absolutely, vehemently insists that Celebrimbor’s name is spelled Tyelpërinquar. Tyelpinquar is also acceptable

Basically, Curufin’s parenting style is very “my way or the highway”. Part of it is because I have a hc that Curufin is autistic (not that he’d ever let you call him that. yay ableism) and when things aren’t happening exactly how he envisions it, he gets stressed the hell our and starts snapping at everyone around him. This includes extremely minor things like the order in which you pour molten metals. Celebrimbor still struggles with the idea that now that Curufin is dead, he can do whatever he wants however he wants.

Unfortunately Curufin wasn’t very present when Celebrimbor was a baby just because he couldn’t handle the piss and shit and vomit (he will make things worse by also throwing up). But don’t worry this only lasted a year

Part of Curufin’s whole Sindar Racism thing but he refuses to call Celebrimbor Celebrimbor, gets super pissed when people call him Celebrimbor, and go on a giant tangent about how it is disrespectful to expect them to abandon their old names just because some wannabe lord huddled in a forest demands it etc etc.

I think Curufin actually got closer to Celebrimbor post ship burning, and especially post Fëanor death. Celebrimbor, however, was growing increasingly uncomfortable around Curufin, because he could kinda tell Curufin was slowly losing his mind.

Which means when Celebrimbor disowned Curufin, my God Curufin was inconsolable. He was this really ugly mix of devastated/furious/does not give a single fuck and it took several weeks before he could even talk about his son without either crying, yelling at someone, or aggressively changing the topic. He also likes to say he was the one who disowned Celebrimbor to make himself feel better.

Curufin liked to bring Celebrimbor with him whenever he was invited to dine with the dwarves. He enjoys showing off his son.

Curufin: hey. See that guy? (gestures at Eöl) yeah fuck that guy. Celebrimbor: why do you hate him? Curufin: i have no idea but I hate him and you should too.

One of Curufin’s favorite activities that isn’t showing off his son is braiding his hair. Sometimes he’ll actually stress braid Celebrimbor’s hair to calm himself down.

TLDR: Curufin tried his best. His best just isn’t very good. I have a fic about it.

Character Analysis: The Seven (Riordanverse)

Each of the seven have issues:

Percy is suicidal as in most of his POVs there is a large lack of regard for his life, multiple times stating he believes people will be better off without him and even stating he wanted to drown in TLF and SoM. On top of that... Physically abused as a kid. C'mon we all remember and hate Gabe. I hate how his entire character was literally forgotten about, despite the fact that an abusive parent should stick with a kid for quite some time.

Here's my headcanon for that. It wasn't forgotten, just not acknowledged. We all remember in the earlier books Percy was pretty much apologizing for doing anything right. That's a trait instilled in people who are used to getting abuse for doing anything. I could just be reading into it too much, and I probably am, but it's the only thing that reassures me that this wasn't forgotten about.

In fact I don't think Rick really understood the implications of what Gabe's actions would have done to Percy as he stated that in the upcoming show Timm Sharp's performance as Gabe had everyone laughing and I think that's the only thing I am slightly apprehensive about in the show.

His lack of self-worth is honestly probably a result of Gabe and I feel so angry that it was never touched.

Annabeth has abandonment issues as nearly everyone she has ever loved has left her at some point. Her mother disowned her after TLH, her father chose her mortal family over her and ignored her as she grew up, Luke betrayed her and Thalia joined the Hunters. There was even that time when Chiron was going to leave for good in SoM. That was why she was so threatened by Rachel. Because she was taking away the one good person left who stood by her.

Yes I just ignored Grover. I realize that.

Jason suffers from image issues as he was put on a pedestal from day one, even as a child just because his daddy was a king. He does NOT get enough credit my man suffered as a kid. This was probably one of the only ones where Rick actually tried to address the problem and eventually he found his calling and grew past that. Then Trials of Apollo came along. *Ugly sobbing intensifies*

Piper suffers from neglect from her father who didn't have enough time to spend with her and from her mother leaving. Even when her mother was there in Charleston, she paid much more attention to Hazel and Annabeth than she did to her own daughter.

Leo... Where to start? The kid was homeless and slept in sewers. That on its own is just sad but even more, he believed he was the reason his mom was dead. He was shunned by his own flesh and blood and was forced to retreat behind the comfort of his machines and even then, Festus was brutally taken away by those lasers. Rick really just pulled out the most brutal, sad backstory for this kid ever.

Frank is one of the less traumatized ones but still, a dead mother and having to watch his home burn down with his grandmother inside? Not good.

Hazel... Pulled out of time into unfamiliar circumstances. Having to deal with the knowledge that her childhood friend moved away, thinking that it was his fault that Hazel left (Sammy and the diamond). Having to deal with the knowledge that she was part of the reason one of the giants had risen. Forcibly exiling herself from Elysium into Asphodel just so her mom wouldn't suffer. And speaking of her mom... Maria Levesque's treatment of Hazel, acting as if she were a curse and not a living child, making her sympathize with the Minotaur of all creature, would leave lasting scars on all of them.

The most consolation I can get for this is that it looks like most of them have managed to move past all of this. Jury is still out on Annabeth and Percy as I have not read CotG yet but I'm hopeful.

Except Jason. They just had to completely overhaul him by ripping away the relationship he had with Piper, which didn't need to happen, right before he died.

My reason for not liking the Jasiper break up is the fact that, the argument that they were forced into the relationship happened at the wrong time. This was after they had done a fresh start of the end of BoO. Anytime before that I can understand, but at that point? There was no reason. Then they just had to kill my boy. RICK I SWEAR TO ALL THE GODS IF THIS HAPPENS TO ANYONE IN THE WRATH OF THE TRIPLE GODDESS AND WHATEVER THE FINAL BOOK OF THIS NEW TRILOGY IS I WILL FIND YOU!

IT'S A MURDER MYSTERY NOW (?)

Corosa's a woman now but otherwise the same stonefaced bastard she's always been. A few years back a massive civilization-ending grade flood destroyed the northern coast and swept her home city away, leaving no known survivors until Corosa and her crew suddenly appear in farway inland Kharta  

Corosa herself is a widowed ex-mariner turned mercenary fisherman leading a band of insane freaks fishermen. Her party consists of Satero (last of Ankhar's berserkers, also an artist which is what he prefers leading with. and a fisherman), Retha (ex-priestess of an apocalyptic cult proven right. also a fisherman), Catsovi (Retha's extremely off-putting bodyguard, also ex-cult, also fisherman), and a Khartan guy I haven't named yet LOL but he was driven out of Kharta years back for his violent unpleasant manner (and for being too good at. fishing). They are all Fucked Up in some ominous manner that none of them will speak of really good at fishing.

They're looking for a contact of theirs named Khista, a contentiously beloved saint of a contentiously revered sect. He's particularly contentious right now because he's been calling for a full break from / challenging the legitimacy of the major city temples. He is also mega dead. He has recently suffered a terminal case of murder. He suffers it the morning of Corosa arriving in town

Khista's teenage son Komini arrives shortly afterwards to head up the investigation of his father's murder. Komini is a just and fair-minded young man who is going to carry out a full proper investigation and gather the facts, but even he is pretty certain that Suspect Number One is Bariyan, Komini's estranged uncle and Khista's extra-estranged younger brother. This is on account of two things:

A decade back Bariyan attempted a ritual of ascension, which was both very ambitious and 100% forbidden. The rite failed, ended in grievous bodily harm to Bariyan and the disappearance/presumed death of his accomplice Masarak. As soon as Bariyan woke up and had his injuries stabilized, Khista viciously disowned and excommunicated him from their family + faith in one fell swoop

Also ever since then Kharta has been increasingly haunted by horrible eldritch creepy-crawlies. Everyone blames Bariyan for that too. Including himself lol

Bariyan remains a free man for now but is effectively in hiding while he figures out how to unfuck his life and atone for his mistakes. He's shacked up with a bunch of priests who have been voted Kharta's Number One Shadiest Temple 30 Years Running and are totally not a front for a criminal syndicate

This includes Mukhari (shadyass doctor whose older brother was part of Corosa's crew before he up and vanished the same way he also up and vanished from Mukhari's childhood. hi ghost. bye ghost), Mukhari's cousin Samin (even more shadyass doctor), Soothe (the evilest little street urchin they could find), and their leader, Sahikar (another guy with major beef against Khista. He was also once part of Khista/Bariyan/Komini's sect but voluntarily left. I don't know what he looks like yet)

Finally the last guy who shows up is Our Boy Masarak, Bariyan's best friend and accomplice in his failed ascension who has been presumed dead this whole time. Sike he's alive and apparently just didn't bother to come home or like, tell anyone until now. When asked where he's been he's just like "[vague handwave] around"

But now that Bariyan's the center of increasingly hostile sentiment he's returned home to kick the shit out of anyone who gets too close to his boyfriend bff. Also Bariyan is going to kick the shit out of him for just letting everyone think he's been dead for ten years

So the question now is who among all these guys killed Khista and why was it 100% definitely totally Bariyan he did it he totally did it bye

Lenore was the informant au

Lenore comes forward to Auggie. The only man that she knows won't sell her out and won't speak to her family.

The entire family is under fire. Auggie has a plan, though, and she doesn't know it. Because they're in court, no one in the family cares, hell, Pym is doing a crossword puzzle. And then the bomb drops. There's an informant in the the family, and Lenore thinks this is it. (Oh how poetic it would be for Auggie who got screwed over by the Usher family once to do the same to them.) She is lucky that the rest of the family is too busy reacting to notice her, but then again, her shock could also be chalked up to the news.

She goes home, acting as if everything is fine. Play the naive girl. The one who doesn't know any better. (But she does know better. She has known better.)

Unsurprisingly, her dad starts talking about who the informant could be and starts blaming Uncle Perry. And she realizes that this was Auggie's angle. Because her family is so dysfunctional that they would all be too busy blaming each other. She feels somewhat saddened that everyone took up pitchforks so quickly but at the same time, she isn't surprised. This family is held together by fear, not trust.

And then the family dinner happens. Nana Madeline doesn't even so much as glance her way. There are subtle and not so subtle shots fired across the dinner table between her aunts, uncles, and father. A Pym Original comes out and then Dad asks if the informant will more or less be disowned. Nana Madeline says no. Because of course not, there's only one real way, one suitable way, to deal with such a betrayal. Death. And if that doesn't send a chill down her spine, the fifty million bounty Grandpa puts on their heads does. The family has turned against each other just at the drop of the hat. But it's not like they were ever really united to begin with, not in the way that matters.

But then, Uncle Perry dies. A horrific accident. Her mother was there. She doesn't know what's going on. It might be her dad's fault. At least, Grandpa seems to think so.

Uncle Perry was never really liked by the family, that much she knows. But now there's another thing to deal with on top of the trial and the charges, and her family is distracted, but so is she. Her mother is undergoing surgery, her uncle is dead, and she blew up their lives not even less than three days ago and no one in her family knows.

But then two days later Aunt Camille dies. Gets her face ripped off by a chimp at Aunt Victorine's lab. Another freak accident because Aunt Camille shouldn't have been there in the first place...at least that's what they say, what the news say, what the family says. But maybe things aren't right with Aunt Victorine either. And it goes deeper than she thinks.

And then Uncle Leo falls off his balcony. Literally two days after Aunt Camille died. Four days after Uncle Perry. She buries half of her family the next day. She sees how divided her family is at the funeral. They mourn for the photos, but she's heard the way Dad and Aunt Tamerlane talk about her aunt and uncles. They called them "The Bastards." She doesn't know if her aunts and uncles every truly loved each other. Part of her thinks that none of them really know how to love.

With so many deaths in such a short amount of time, the informant business is forgotten. She knows it isn't outright stated but there are more pressing matters that require the family's attention. But she can't find herself to be relieved by it. Her aunt is dead and so are her uncles. Her mom is still severely burned. Her dad is starting to act weird. And things are happening too fast.

Mom comes home. Aunt Victorine dies along with Al. Literally the day after the funeral. Dad doesn't even bat an eyelash. She doesn't know if it's safe anymore, and part of her, in the deepest pit of her mind, wonders if she's responsible. Three deaths within a week of each other is odd, tragic, concerning. But four? Four is too much of a coincidence.

Dad starts acting weirder. Something is wrong.

She doesn't know why this is happening.

Grandpa is speaking in poetry. Something is wrong.

Mom is more responsive now but it's weird sometimes she can barely blink and other times she can somewhat speak.

Aunt Tammy dies two days after Aunt Victorine. She's certain now, her family is under attack. She sends a message to Auggie. (Dad is too busy...out of it...to know.) She asks if something leaked. He tells her no. Her identity is safe. And while she may be safe, she knows Mom isn't.

She wants to do the best for her mom. Her father disagrees. He's off, likely on drugs. He keeps saying that the people who are supposed to be here to help her mother are around but she knows they aren't. They fight. He leaves. And she knows (she has always known) something is wrong.

Mom was mutilated. The cops are called. Dad is dead. (Two days after Aunt Tammy). She can't even be too upset. Not after what he did to her. Pym tries to bullshit her. She more or less tells Pym to fuck off. It doesn't matter what's good for the company or the family. And besides, what family? There is practically no one else. All the heirs to the Usher name are dead. And she is going to hold onto what little family she has left.

She buries the rest of her family two days later. This funeral is smaller. It's just Grandpa, Nana Madeline, Juno, and her. The guilt...grief...is starting to sink in. Not even a complete week after she buried the first three. There is no more trial. Considering everyone is more or less dead. And she wonders if it's even worth coming clean. This all began after that day in the court room. Somehow this feels like her doing. Maybe it's the grief talking. Survivor's guilt maybe.

She was advised not to reveal herself, just in case. Her family can be brutal, she knows that. But there is no brutality now with Nana Madeline and Grandpa...just the figments of a broken family. Part of her wonders if it was even a family to begin with. She doesn't think so. The Usher Family were a group of people tied together by blood and nothing more.

Juno leaves. Part of her is upset at that. Grandpa says not to mind it. And she tries to tell him to move on from all the bad that the family has done. To try and fix it. And she almost considers telling him that she was the one who was trying to take the family down, before she realizes she's talking to a stubborn old man who doesn't know anything else than what he's done. So she says nothing else.

She knows she isn't going home. There's nothing left there for her now that Mom is safe and in the I.C.U.

There's a woman, if she can be called that, sitting on her bed when she comes out of the bathroom after getting ready for bed. She doesn't know this woman. But something inside her tells her what she needs to know.

She is going to die.

Death calls her over. Tells her about the future. A future that she has shaped. Her legacy. A legacy of good things to come out of the Usher's shadow of darkness.

Death was surprisingly kind. And lets her ask one last question.

"Before I go, I need to know. Was it me?" Lenore asks, her voice a shaking whisper. "Did I do this? Did I..." a moment of hesitation, "...did I kill them?"

"No." Death shakes her head, a gentle motion. "Their fates were all sealed long before this. As was yours. What you did was very brave."

"Will they know it was me?" She can't help but ask.

Death laughs softly.

"It doesn't matter if they do or not. It wouldn't have changed anything that happened."

Death's touch is soft, gentle. Peaceful almost. It's all over.

Is this the end of Chloe Bourgeois?

She’s been exiled from her city after a brief but disastrous run as its absolute ruler. Her father has disowned her. Her mother is humiliated by her and seems intent on making her burn for it, now that she has sole custody of her. Her co-conspirator in her grand scheme has dropped contact, forsaking her to run her own game. Her childhood friend, the boy she once regarded as hers and hers alone, has washed his hands of her. Her only friend, whom she treated as an underling for years, has turned against her. And her favorite bullying target has just explained to her, in no uncertain terms, that she’s lost everything and has no power over anyone anymore.

Even from a Doylist perspective, there seems to be no place for Chloe anymore. She no longer lives in Paris, and Lila/Cerise has usurped her position as designated beta-villain. Some would see this as an opportunity to write Chloe out of the series entirely, and few people within the fandom would shed tears. 

And yet, Chloe does have her fans. Some of them object to the apparent beatification of Marinette, in-universe and out, or that Mr. Astruc and the writers have flanderized Chloe into the series’ hate sink at the cost of her character arc. Others sympathize with Chloe as a victim of emotional abuse and neglect who doesn’t understand how to be a good person because no one’s shown her how (although I would argue that Armand and Miss Bustier at least tried).

Putting Chloe on a bus (or in her case, a jet) while singing “Ding Dong, the Bitch is Dead” seems too easy and neat an ending for her. I would like to see Chloe return in season 6 with the increased capacity for empathy that often comes from losing something precious. I want her to learn that “nice” isn’t just an affectation one puts on to impress people you like. I want her to understand that true heroism takes effort and even sacrifice. I want her to experience the give-and-take of equitable relationships. I want to see her tempted to fall into old habits and make a few bad decisions, but ultimately prove herself to herself. And again shifting from the Watsonian to the Doylist, I would like to see Chloe become a powerful foil and counter to the increasingly diabolical Lila/Cerise.

The problem is that I don’t see how this is possible. Audrey seems intent on controlling Chloe’s every move to prevent her daughter from causing her further shame. Even if Chloe did return to Paris, everyone there seemingly hates her. The only way I can see it happening is if Audrey got tired of Chloe and sent her back, not knowing what else to do with her... and if someone, against their better judgment, agreed to shelter her... and if she adopted a new name and changed her appearance so that no one recognized her as the recently overthrown child-dictator of Paris.

Reinventing Chloe offers far more creative potential than discarding her. Also, it would show the kids for whom this show was created what it means to be a truly good person, that sometimes it takes real effort and hard choices but that it’s ultimately worth it.

Jane & John have been forced into a room together, as their father is still alive.

"Father would not be happy that I am with a man," John growls, "He always trusted me to be a proper American, to have a wife & children. Especially after his only daughter decided she no longer wants to do her duty as a daughter & sister."

Jane pointedly ignores that last comment.

"It was on me to continue the family legacy but..." John sighs & runs a hand through his beard, "I have never had an interest in women. I thought I was just too patriotic, that I only cared about my country! And then I met Ken..."

"Father never approved of anything," Jane scowls, "He wouldn't like Zhanna because she is a woman & father still sees me as a woman. He wouldn't like Tavish because he's a 'negro', even if he is a man. He wouldn't accept me being with both of them either. Father could never be happy for me."

John brushes imaginary dust from his jacket, "I think you chose well, Jane."

"I told you not to talk to me again, John."

In another room, the Scouts have been asked the same question.

James huffs, "At least he cares."

Mick shuffles in his seat, "My parents are dead now, but they got to meet Jay & Bug before. Dad said this was the only good thing that came out of this job, but my mom was smitten with the both of them, heh." Bug reaches over & pats his knee, giving him a bright smile. "Well, my mother & stepfather would probably kill me if they found out about my relationship," They say with an awkward chuckle, "My brother would have been very confused about it, before just saying alright, do whatever. But I know that papá would have loved them both, & been happy for us."

Ludwig is leaning against Jacques, looking so, so tired.

"Vater would not have approved of Mikhail. He has a PhD in literature, but he is not a doctor, he is not a scientist. He commands the 'wrong' sort of respect, & he..." That his unwanted daughter, the murderer of his beloved wife, got his happy ending while he had to suffer in the camps, had to lose everything. He would have been furious to know that the Humboldt family is a shell of its former self, that we have lost our glory."

Jacques rubs his back before speaking up herself, "My family is all dead. I was orphaned when I was 10, but I think my family would have liked Dell. He is charming, soft spoken, kind, & intelligent. My older sister might have been a bit jealous of me, however," She chuckles, "But they would have loved him. Him & Colette both."

Dark Lloyd (My Crystallized AU)

Story:

When Charlie aka Kura, got to the city of Ninjago without the ninjas and her sister and her father not knowing, until Lloyd found out she was back when he heard her haunted voice while getting kidnapped by her, Charlie was forcing Lloyd to make him watch everything burn around him and torment him, when Ember went on a search for Lloyd, Charlie captured her sister, after she got her sister, she told Ember about how Charlie was born and created that Lilith wasn't the one who made Charlie, it was Ember.

Ember has so much regrets about what she did to her sister, she tried to reach out to Kura and get her back home, but Charlie was unpredictable and has hurt a lot of people, when Ember saw Lloyd badly hurt by Charlie who tormented and torturing him, Ember confronted Charlie of what she has done and she was trying so hard to reach Kura and make up for everything and they can be sisters again, but the couldn't farther from what will happen next.

Ever since the day when Ember defeated Lilith who took her in when the time Ember thought her sister was dead, affirming her motherly love to as she died, and also because Ember doesn't get her trust when she chose to be with her team instead of her sister, Charlie embraced her nature and disowned her on the spot before she went off to Ninjago, everything went to a black rabbit hole of what she's gonna do next.

Charlie found Misako in her hideout, Misako tried to run away from her but it was too late, Charlie was much quicker due to her new speed abilities by the crystal king giving her some of his powers to her. Misako died from being stabbed in the back by Charlie, after she killed Misako, she burned the hideout and vanished to go back to the primeval's eye (the crystal temple).

The ambulance and the firefighters found the hideout on fire, when they took the fire out and got Misako out of the building but it was already to late, she's already dead. Wu, Drago and the ninja's found out in the news that Misako got murdered, they were all devastated, hurt and angry, they all found out that her murderer is Charlie, they're all so angry and couldn't believe that Charlie took someone's life away.

When Ember and Lloyd got back and found the Ninjas, Drago and Wu in the secret base where they can't be found, they found the group looking devastated and sad, they explained to Lloyd and Ember about what happened to Misako, Lloyd was devastated, grieving his loss of his mother and Ember also was sad for the loss of Misako but she was trying her best to comfort Lloyd. When Ember asked them who killed Misako, and she couldn't believe of what she is about to hear next.

It was Charlie who killed Lloyd's mother, they both could not believe what they heard, mostly Ember who didn't want to believe that her own sister could do something horrible just like how Lilith killed her mother, Agatha. Lloyd has became more dark and bitter and the death of his mother impacted him a lot and he is also planning to get revenge on Charlie for taking away his mother like that, his eyes were has turned from green to purple pink color and also wears a black headband to symbolize his character and also the grief of the loss of his mother.

Ember was also impacted a lot, she was going through so much from lack of sleep and rest and she was even overtraining herself, she feels like what happened to Misako was also her fault and everyone is suffering by Charlie because of something that she, Ember herself created a hundred years ago, she accepted the Kura is gone and only remains Charlie. After she, her father and the ninjags were ready to take down the overlord and Charlie, Ember and Lloyd has a conversation about why Ember is willing to face Charlie because she's her sister, but she explained that Lloyd, Micha and the ninjas were right, her sister is gone, there's only Charlie now.

Hello there anon! I am doing well, thank you for asking - life has just been messy for a while. In any case, it was a delightful surprise to get an ask!

And without further delay - this would be my answer to your question anon:

First thing to establish, for the sake of the question, is that Madara had a wife, and at least one child, to be able to have a granddaughter.

I have written headcanons before about similiar topics. Such as how he would treat his wife, or even what I think about the Uchiha culture itself, in case anyone wants to see more of my personal perspective about the Uchiha clan.

In any case, I think Madara would treat his family well. And if he had a daughter, he would be proud to learn that their bloodline would continue.

Now, once he finds out that his daughter has caught feelings for a Senju - and that his granddaughter is of “mixed blood” - I can see him being disappointed in such events, but he takes it well enough - thanks to his wife - until he learns the identity of the father.

The son of Senju Tobirama.

So, this headcanon can go in many different directions, depending on timeline and if canon events are meant to happen (Izuna’s death).

Let’s entertain a timeline where Izuna died, and Madara was left with a family in the form of a wife and a daughter (thus keeping his sanity intact).

I would personally headcanon that Madara would not take it well that his daughter has fallen in love with the son of the person he holds a grudge against (Tobirama).

Despite his caring, devoted side, I can personally see that this is something he would never accept. Especially if it is in a timeline where Izuna is dead, and he is excluded from anything that has to do with Konoha.

While it is true that he is not openly antagonistic towards Tobirama in canon, he definitely holds a grudge towards the latter for taking Izuna from him for the rest of his life, and while he tried working together with the Senju for the sake of Konoha - he would definitely show a much more ruthless side here.

We know Madara does not take betrayal well - and this would definitely be the greatest betrayal that could happen in his own family. Thus I can see him disowning his daughter and keep contact between them to be civil at most (if not outright shunning his daughter and never again speaking to her). While his wife would be sorrowed by such, she would respect her husband’s decision and only support her daughter if absolutely necessary.

Family means everything to an Uchiha, and both husband and wife - even if they are a father and mother - would stay true to those words until the very end.

If we instead entertain an alternative reality where Izuna is alive, and Konoha is still founded, I can definitely see that Madara would take on a more accepting stance to the union - and the child - of his daughter and Tobirama’s son. He would still not be pleased - might even still disown his daughter - but he would still remain in her life to a much larger degree.

I can personally see Tobirama react in a similar way to Madara. I can definitely see him try to sway his son to leave his Uchiha lover, while Madara would try to reason with his daughter, he would eventually give up and accept that she has tarnished the Uchiha name.

All in all, it would definitely not be an union that is liked. But everyone would be a bit more accepting of it, if Izuna was alive.

I just read your letter to tami [whatever last name] & it got me thinking about our own former-mother.

We found out on accident about a month ago via a tagged picture on the one sibling we still talk to's FB that former-mother has breast cancer. we used to be able to view former-mother's FB, but she blocked us there & on insta at some point (as have all siblings but the 1 + abuser-father), so we can't find out hints of what might be happening with our former-family. All 12 of them save for 1 disowned us ~6 yrs ago anyway when we told former-mother & abuser that we were determined to move to California (all of former-family continue to reside in Wyoming) and that we found out abuser-father had indeed abused us.

And so, we all have oscillating, conflicted feelings about former-mother's cancer. On one hand we'd rejoice if she were to die a slow & painful death. But on the other hand, especially from the Littles, we are afraid of her death. Additionally is the understanding that even if she were to die by cancer, it's likely that none of the former-family would even think to tell us. Even the one safe sibling hasn't told us about the diagnosis and chemo.

So I suppose my question was something like: how do you imagine y'all would feel if somehow y'all learned that tami [whatever last name] had developed a terminal illness & y'all didn't know/had no way to find out if she is going to die soon or not?

I hesitated to ask this because while we have had several years to come to terms with the total loss of family, cutting tami [whatever last name] from your life is still pretty fresh for y'all. So i imagine y'all might feel more inclined to lean totally or very heavily towards the "ding dong the witch is dead" side of things. But that is only an assumption based on our own experiences!

Anyways. Do not feel any pressure to respond to this hypothetical thought exercise. We only felt comfortable asking y'all since you're both A.) Open about the tami [whatever last name] situation, and B.) Y'all are the only ones who we know that has gone through a similar experience with abusive mothers as we have.

to answer your question with total honesty: tami could die tomorrow and i 1) wouldn’t know about it until everyone else does and 2) would be indifferent.

Born in Singapore to a Chinese heiress and a British-Chinese engineer, Huifang Xu (徐慧芳) was orphaned at a young age when a car crash caused by a yōkai took from her the only family she ever knew. 

They were on a vacation in Japan, which the family had been putting off for months because of her father’s busy schedule at work. It was actually Huifang herself who pleaded for them to go, only to regret her whims when the tragedy struck. Although she survived the accident, she would have been devoured by the creature, if not for the timely arrival of a local hunter named Hiroyuki Ono (小野廣之). 

Inside the overturned car, Huifang watched the hunter efficiently slay the yōkai. After the intense fight, the hunter was surprised to find the girl, whom he later dropped at a police station with his local law enforcement contact, thinking she would then be reunited with relatives. Three days later, however, the same contact informed Ono that none of the relatives wanted the girl back.

Apparently, the girl’s familial relationships have always been terrible. Her father was already distant to his own family before he ever married her mother while her mother was disowned after she decided to marry her father instead of a wealthy heir to a family business in Singapore. None of her immediate relatives wanted to take her in because they believed she’s bad luck, a belief she would subconsciously ingrain in herself, preventing her from making new relationships easily and sabotaging current ones. 

Thus, the hunter took it upon himself to adopt the orphaned foreigner. Under the older Ono’s tutelage, Huifang, now calling herself Keiho Ono (小野恵芳), became an efficient hunter, ridding Tokyo and even Osaka of dangerous yōkai. The father-and-daughter pairing were fast becoming a nightmarish problem for the local monsters, which was why they enlisted help from an outsider, a monstrous gaijin, that was more than Hiroyuki’s match. Keiho could only hold her mentor, her father, in her arms as he breathed his last, promising to avenge him despite his wish for her to stay safe. 

Through their contacts, she later found out where her father’s killer had disappeared to: Wicked's Rest, Maine. Using a shortened form of her birth first name, Fang, with her adoptive Japanese last name, Ono, she made her way to the other side of the world, shacking up with an old friend, Sara Fukuhara, at Harborside, intending to track down the undead that killed Hiroyuki and fulfill her promise of revenge.

But that was five years ago. 

Huifang Xu Keiho Ono Fang Ono has failed in her crusade. Her father’s killer had long been dead, exterminated by another hunter, the news of which was brought to her too late. With nowhere else to go, Fang decided to stay in town, offering her services, the only set of skills she believes she has that’s worth any amount of money, to anyone and everyone. 

What else was she going to do? Get a job at the boathouse? Become a fisherman? Nah, she’d rather make (un)life a living hell for the creatures that destroyed her life and get paid doing just that. It is what it is.

Non-supernatural strangers tend to refer to her as Huifang or Keiho while the more supernatural circles, such as fellow hunters and her victims, know her simply as Fang, sometimes exaggerated as the Fanged Oni.

She currently lives with an old friend, Sara Fukuhara, on the second floor of the latter’s electronics repair shop, Fukuhara Electronics, at Harborside. Sara’s shop employs two other women: Micaella Kikuchi and Nobu Aoki, who are both curious at how Fang survives without a day job but are too hesitant to delve deeper. Only Sara knows the truth about Fang being a hunter because one of Sara’s close relatives was also a hunter.

As a hunter, her weapon of choice is a katana with an oni hilt that her enemies had named the Oni’s Fang, though she is also well-versed in the usage of an ōdachi and a tantō. She has a naginata displayed in her room, which was given to her by Hiroyuki, supposedly a family heirloom. 

She also wears a face mask that resembles an oni’s lower face when out hunting. Apparently, this was its whole thing back in Japan with Hiroyuki and a few others.

She has a dragon tattoo over her right arm. Do not ask about it. She won’t answer you anyway.

She has a soft spot for seafood, especially butter crab and sashimi. She also loves oden and has a personal tradition of eating chikuzenni every new year.
