Random Emi & Jamemi thoughts

I think once Emi and Jamil start dating, Emi would be kinda torn between wanting to let her friends know, and wanting to wait and see how long it’d take them to catch on.

Though some of them might kinda assume that they’re dating already, with how much time Jamil and Emi seem to be spending together on the Ramshackle repairs and all. Like it feels like Ace would definitely be on her case about it.

Still, Emi totally might just walk around campus hand in hand with Jamil and see if anyone notices & reacts (assuming Jamil's gonna be okay with the pda, at least). Or just casually drop it into conversation if it's relevant to the topic, but not before.

Poor Deuce is gonna be all confused, like was he supposed to know about this already?

Though, I can also imagine that there's gonna be a few people who will learn through Grim complaining about Jamil taking up Emi's time and attention and things like that - she wouldn't (and realistically, couldn't) keep the info from Grim, after all.

Like in the game & the novel, there is something going on that allows Emi to understand the language everyone speaks as soon as she arrives in Twisted Wonderland.

However, sometimes Emi will be saying something under her breath, or perhaps singing to herself, and Jamil realizes he can't understand the words - like whatever usually gives them the impression of speaking the same language just breaks for a moment.

It’s definitely a mixed feeling for Jamil.

On one hand, he’s getting a glimpse of Emi’s world and her language.

On the other hand, it’s absolutely terrifying to think about the spell breaking down and them suddenly not having a shared language to communicate with.

Got a little mishap on campus, or need something? Jamemi’s got you covered.

I mean, Jamil's the guy who apparently walks around with aluminum foil and soap sheets. While Emi's a bit more lightly packed (relatively speaking), she also tends to carry an assortment of helpful things, from safety pins to some medicines.

Basically, if someone gets a papercut, Jamil and Emi will both be ready to offer a bandaid - and Jamil will be the one with the disinfectant, too.

Also, if you voice a problem within their hearing, chances are one of them will not be able to resist the urge to offer you a solution - or tell you what you should've done, as it may be in Jamil's case.

Emi clings to her self-determination with tooth and nail - at least as much as she can in the circumstances. The way she dresses is definitely a part of that, as well - choosing what she wants, not what she should.

Part of that self-determination is that she does not like possessiveness in her relationships. Like, for a romantic relationship, in her view she is committed to being with someone, but she doesn't belong to anyone but herself.

It’s a fairly meaningful distinction for her, and a boundary she’ll hold on to.

Basically, I’m thinking of Jamil being all “I’m gonna make you mine”, trying to be all seductive, and Emi basically making a face. (Poor Jamil.)

If she chooses to let it slide, not wanting to bring down the mood too much, the response would be “I’m already yours”. If she’s feeling more assertive, though… Jamil’s probably gonna be hearing how she’s no one’s to own (or control), but she sure is with him and his partner.

AUTHOR OF THE WEEK @xoxoemynn

I've loved featuring some of the most incredible artists in the fandom for the AOTWs, and thanks to Connie's (@spirker) big brain, this week is dedicated to some of the most beloved fandom authors. I hope everyone will go and check out their fics, maybe discover some new works or give extra love to older beloved fics. There will be 3 authors featured this weekend, please give it up 🥁 for the first one: Emy who we all love.

When I think of an author whose writing feels like a warm, lovingly prepared bowl of soup by someone who wants you to eat and eat well: I think of Em's fics. It's impossible to imagine this fandom without her - not just her words but everything she is and does for her friends. I also strongarmed her into answering a few questions for me (kidding, she was very gracious, I kept harassing her to send the answers over 😌 I have no shame):

What's your writing process like? Do you start with the beginning or the end? Do you write in order or as the scenes come to you?

First comes the idea, which usually presents itself as “haha, wouldn’t it be funny/weird/wild if XYZ… wait a minute. I think I might be serious about that.” Once I’m pretty confident I’m actually going to write the story, I make a channel for it in the private Discord I created to keep myself organized. I’ll start jotting ideas down — doesn’t have to be in any particular order, just tone, beats I want to hit, any particular detail that’s pushing its way to the surface that’s demanding the story be told, and also grab any links, images, music, whatever, and stash them away for inspo later. I almost always have to create an outline for myself, even if it’s just a few bullet points, because otherwise I tend to just sit there spinning my wheels. If it’s a longer story, I’ll create a pretty fleshed out outline, and may also supplement it with an emotions matrix to keep track of the characters’ evolving mindset throughout the story. Tragically, I’m very much someone who needs to write in order. I’ve tried skipping around before, but inevitably I start feeling the tension of “well, how can I possibly write Scene 10 if I don’t know exactly what happened in Scene 5?” But if there are some scenes that feel more vivid to me in the brainstorming phase, I may write a few sentences just so I don’t lose that energy.

One Ed/Stede headcanon that's very dear to you and you love to explore it when you write.

I don’t know if I have one specific one. I generally treat them as my all you can eat buffet and like to play with different ones all the time, depending on my mood. But I’d say my “tell,” if you will, is taking some kind of ridiculous concept (being horny for clocks, running a sleepaway camp for singles, tooth fairies) and sussing out the Big Emotions, which often do circle around learning to be vulnerable in front of the one you love.

Whose voice is easier to write - Ed or Stede? Why?

When I first started writing OFMD fic after S1, I would have said Ed. There was something about that vulnerability and raw heartbreak that I found really accessible, perhaps because I was finally coming out of the fog of my own recent traumatic breakup. But as I spent more time writing and in the characters’ heads, I realized it’s actually Stede. I see a lot of myself in him, and have discovered getting his voice right is a rather cyclical process: the more I understand him, the more I understand myself, and the more I understand myself, the more I understand him.

Your personal favourite thing you've written that you'd like more people to read

I’m going to cheat and list two. The first is The Merry Strays of Lighthouse Sanctuary, which is my heart story. It’s not the first thing I wrote for this fandom, but it feels like it. I wanted to write a fic with a setting that felt to all the characters the way so many of us felt about the show itself — a place of hope, where everyone is loved and accepted and celebrated for exactly who they are. The second, which is definitely a harder sell due to the subject matter, is All Of These Lines Across My Face, which is the most personal thing I’ve ever written that I think has taken on a new, more meta meaning since the cancellation. Love is eternal; it changes everything it touches for the better. Ed and Stede’s world was forever changed because they loved each other; our world was forever changed because we loved OFMD.

What is the one word that you think you use a lot?

Exquisite. But it’s NOT MY FAULT. They ARE exquisite!!! What am I supposed to do, just call them pretty? They are EXQUISITE!

Do you have a beta reader? Have they made you a better writer?

YES! My beloved Hugo (@monksofthescrew/offsammich), who I’ve been working with since Merry Strays. I used to say I’d only use a beta if there was something I was particularly worried about in the story, but honestly Hugo makes everything I write SO much better that I don’t consider a story complete until her eyes are on it. Brainstorming the initial idea, helping me get unstuck in writing, pushing me to look at a scene from a different perspective, fixing all my verb tenses… truly could not do it without her.

Why OFMD?🥹

I found OFMD at a very transitional point in my life, when I finally started to feel healed from a few big traumatic events but didn’t know what to do now that I’d emerged from the fog. I experienced some panic that I had wasted too much time and the world had moved on without me while I was still struggling. OFMD showed me that it’s never too late, that you can always have a second (or third, or 300th) chance, that you deserve to be loved for exactly who you are, and, most importantly, that there’s always hope. It was like someone gently took my hand and said “I don’t care what your brain/society is telling you, there is a beautiful future in store for you, and you deserve all that it brings you.” These days it’s rare to find something with a message like that, that’s equal parts fierce and earnest. It’s something beautiful and precious, and I’ll be holding onto it forever. ��️

LARRY & LAWRIE HEADCANONS #3

(Headcanons after the cut, I ramble for a bit)

*head pops out of grave* I'M ALIVEEE

Yeah I know I say this in practically every post but I finally got something again! school and other stuff kicked my ass and honestly i wasn't sure how interested really was in making these until I missed them! So while I can't guarantee any consistent posting knowing me, I can at least say that I do plan to keep doing these and I'm hoping to branch out into other fandoms so that me making these doesn't fully depend on me having a Brawl Stars hyperfixation.

Anyways as a sort of apology for the lack of content, I bring you the follow up I know many have been waiting for: LARRY AND LAWRIE PART 3 BABY!

Fair warning: this one may be a small bit angsty in some spots. Nothing that would need an actual warning but didn't want to jumpscare y'all with surprise sadness.

Larry based, Lawrie based, both

•Larry's most rebellious action would be putting a soda can in the non-recycling bin... Then feeling extremely guilty and fishing it back out to put it in the correct bin when no one is looking.

•Lawrie has an apocalypse bunker hidden somewhere in the park. It's only for them, Larry, and RT.

•Lawrie likes Bob Ross! They don't like to paint all that much though. Larry does like painting but he's really bad at it.

•They've never been outside the park before. Lawrie is pretty content with that fact and doesn't want to leave, but Larry wants to see what's out there and occasionally asks parkgoers about it.

•Larry gets along well with animals (add this and the last one and Larry is a fricking Disney princess- /j)

•Lawrie is the exact opposite, all animals hate them and they hate all animals in return.

•As somewhat implied already, Lawrie is kind of leaning towards a "hate all biological life" mindset. They don't actually full-on hate lifeforms entirely, but people don't really like them so they don't like people, that kind of deal. This leads Lawrie to sometimes say stuff teetering on the "kill all humans" line but Larry calls it out and Lawrie would always agree they're going a bit too far.

•Larry as usual is the opposite. He finds life and people to be so interesting and envies their experiences. They even somewhat avoid hanging out with other robots because it reminds him that he's also just a robot, though he doesn't even realize this thought process. He would never admit it, but he kind of wishes he was human. Lawrie can sense this so it causes some arguments between the two.

•On a more light-hearted note, Larry has a bit of a crush on Melodie! She's very pretty, sings beautifully, and does whatever she wants and says anything on her mind, all of which Larry loves and admires.

•Out of all the people in the park, Lawrie gets along with Draco and Hank the best. Draco is more of a frien-emy that can get on their nerves a lot but they have a lot of similar interests like music taste. And Hank is a semi-friendly rival.

•Larry, Lawrie, and R-T were all made on the same day. When it comes to the birthday though they celebrate it as R-T's day cause they just love their "baby" sibling. (Plus in Lawrie's case they just don't like the idea of having their own birthday)

•Larry is scared of Cordelius. He just gives them the creeps and somehow always manages to accidentally sneak up on Larry. (Same goes for Lily)

•Larry has a notebook they carry around to do made up math problems in when they're bored.

•Lawrie usually never wishes they could eat food, but he does wish he could try chocolate.

•They tend to play "road trip" games when they're bored on a patrol together. Things like Eye Spy, 20 Questions, Alphabet Game, etc. They both really enjoy it!

•They also listen to true crime podcast together.

GLOW UP QUIDE 𖹭⠀࣭⠀ֹ⠀͡꒱

I. THE INNER ME

— When you think of the word "glow up" , your mind automatically thinks of changing your appearence, right? For me the beauty is in our soul. If you think nasty and degrading thoughts of yourself that can be damaging in so many ways.

let's get some things clear here:

First of all, beauty standards always change, as trends come and go, and you will never be enough "pretty" for someone; because beauty is subjective and you might be the dream person for someone and for someone not. which is ok! there are so many beautiful flowers. i personally perfer tulips and peonies, but someone might prefer roses or sunflowers. that doesn't make a flower less beautiful because every flower is beautiful in it's own way.

— do you know yourself? we spend so much time trying to know others, but do we even know ourselves? go on pinterest and find some questions to ask yourself. here are some:

1. what qualities do i like about myself?

2. what qualities of others do i admire?

3. what am i scared of?

4. what would i like my mornings to look like?

5. who inspires me?

if someone asks me any of these questions i would answer them all in a second, because i know myself.

— SHADOW WORK. Grab a pen and a journal, go on pinterest and search "shadow work prompts". I Personally, don't know much about this subject, but i know it's talked about by many people i look up to. It helped them heal from trauma.

II. THERE IS NOTHING TO CHANGE

— you are perfect just the way you are. embrace yourself. there is only one you in this world. many women look the same to me these days and it's a tiring and sad thing. Everyone is following the standard that is going to probably change in a month. As Hwasa said "I am my own beauty standard" and thank you Hwasa for that!

Embrace your features, look for makeup that suits your face shape and eyes. I know that eyeliner doesn't work with my eyes so i don't apply it. I also know that a lot of bronzer doesn't suit me.

Wear whatever you like and don't be afraid to express yourself.

When it comes to exercising, ALWAYS DO IT FOR YOURSELF. Think of it as: "My body deserves to be healthy"

strech when you wake up, do yoga, workout or go for a walk/run. whatever you like!

eat healthy but don't pressure yourself too much. have it balanced. you can eat a healthy meal but that doesn't mean you can't eat a cake. BALANCE IS EVERYTHING.

That was so incredible. WARNING!!! THIS IS GONNA BE A LONG APPRECIATION POST WITH A FEW GRAMMAR AND SPELLING MISTAKES BECAUSE IT IS LATE BUT SOOO MANY THOUGHTS!!! Also kind of a few character studies?? I guess?? YEah. I just need to get it out while it's still fresh.

I'm so impressed with all of them and the way Cellbit described stuff and all the different sounds he made?? absolutely nerve wrecking. The deaths were so like.. made my heart beat so so fast and the monster chases??? All the different npcs with different vibes to them he captured them so well. I love all the little references to the qsmp. I love the fact he included fitmc and his egg child. I'm so sad that he killed fitmc and his egg child.

They way Baghera roleplayed Lucie and how Lucie changed from hating this little brat and calling her that, and then changing it from a mean nickname to one of endearment, saying that Emi is the best for bringing the keycard but she needs to shut up. The way she gave her life for Emi, and she probably would've even if Carol didn't sabotage Emi. When she was dragged away and dying, all she could think about is that she was alone. That she was a failure. Her very last thoughts before she died were its not fair, but this is it. And it wasn't fair. She died alone. She was killed just for the thrill of it.

It was so cool the way Quackity laughed when Lucie died. The roleplaying was just so.. Chef's kiss. It changed Benito. It changed the way he saw Emi and yeah, he said he would help kill that child but seeing someone else doing that, it made him change his mindset. He never liked Carol, and seein her wanting this CHILD Lucie sacrificed herself for dead made him utterly pissed off, and he made sure that he would protect Emi. In the end, he says to himself that he started as an angry and cynical person who cared for no one. He said to himself that he will continue to be like that, but he has someone he needs to care for now and protect, because he will not let Lucie die in vain.

And the way Bagi roleplayed too?? I did NOT like Carol or trust her, she was so sus but oh my god Bagi is incredible. She was so in character, and Carol was so sure what she was doing was the right thing. She knew all of them were infected, and that meant they would need to die because if she lets them live she won't protect the world. But she wasn't there from the start. She wasn't there to form a bond with these people, and she focused her energy on killing a child, and in the end that's what got her killed. I almost wish she had lived longer, just to see what more there was to her. She was interesting narrivately, and I love that.

AND GOD. PAC. Pac was absolutely gut wrenching to look at after Diego heard about Lucie's death, just moment's before laughing with Jeffrey and being healed by him, only to hear that his best friend, likely for years, had been dragged away and killed by a beast, and it was to save a child he didn't even like. His first reaction was to deny it, even if the beast was right above them and he was so loud that it just.. GOIUGH. Pac's expression for the most part after that was zoned out, empty and like there was nothing to live for anymore. After Benito's speech about Lucie living on in Emi, he probably decided that Emi needs to live on. For Lucie. Like Benito said. Diego offers his everything for the people he loves. And he loved Lucie, it doesn't matter what KIND of love, but it was so important. And Pac captured that so incredibly well. ALSO LIKE. THE WAY HE SAID "She must've been terrified" MY HEART.

OUGH FOOLISH. His expressions. His noises. All the little things. He was soo in character. Jeffrey is a coward, and maybe it's more of an unknown trauma response to what happened to him before. Needing to run because he won't survive otherwise. His pep talk to Diego was that he [Diego] needs to bottle up his feelings for now, because otherwise he won't survive, but when they get out of this he can cry and they can get therapy. He's not telling Diego to keep it bottled up, but to seek out help. He throws a bunch of stuff, and in the end that's what saved them. He kept his phone and that moment!! That moment when Foolish said that he throws his phone at Mikael, I reacted the same way as Cellbit. Gasping, mouth open, jaw ON. THE. FLOOR. It was incredible.

AND EMI. She was broken. She saw her dad's infected body and she promised she would find a cure for him. She stayed with Lucie, held her hand until they had to split up and she was forced to stay with this boring guy that the only adult she liked didn't trust, and they were saying they didn't want her to stay there, but she would be safe if she did. Then, she finds this keycard, and her first instinct is to leave this boring guy and find Lucie. She does. And Lucie calls her the best for finding the keycard. And then, even if she doesn't realize it, she alerted the creature who chased her and Lucie, and this stupid doctor and new person who she does not know at all, down. This new stranger tries to offer her to the beast and Lucie sacrifices herself for Emi. Emi's only response was "She was the one I liked" I know some people were saying that she didn't act like a teenage girl (or like a 11/12 year old?) but she did!! I was talking to someone in dms and we were freaking out and he works with kids and I know teenagers. They are that sassy. They swear, and they absolutely swear a lot if they learned english from youtube or the internet, and being Brazilian I am simply assuming that's where Emi learnt it from. Cellbit did so well, and Emi also went through a LOT of traumatic events in such a short span of time. After Lucie died, she immidately latched onto Benito and never let go of his hand. And I don't think she will for a while.

Mikael sucked but also I kinda understood him in the end, but it also turned out he was wrong. That creature wasn't one of a kind, but he never got to know that. I don't have much to say about him because he was so sketch and just like. fuck that guy

i want more of this. so much more.

As you fell into a deep sleep at three in the afternoon, you dreamt for the first time. It was so nice and warm that you never wanted to wake up.

"Emi!"

She smiled at you. "Ama, what are you doing? Your mom and dad are waiting for you."

Emi placed a hand on your shoulder and urged you to turn around. You turned around and smiled at the sight of your parents.

Though their faces were shrouded in shadows, you couldn't tell in your dream state. As far as you knew it, they were your parents.

In this world, your parents weren't deceased. You lived happily with them and they loved you.

Love.

You hadn't felt it in so long. But as a child, it was never missing. This was what love felt like and you never wanted to be apart from it.

"Mama, pick me up!"

Your mother smiled at how cute you were. "I think Papa should do it. He's much stronger than me."

"Papa!" you exclaimed, turning to him with outstretched arms.

"Alright, alright, darling," he said as he leaned over to pick you up by the armpits.

You laughed as he cradled your 5-year-old body to his body. Your hands wrapped into his clothes as he carried you through the field of flowers.

You wanted to live like this forever.

"Papa loves you, Ama!"

You wanted to stay with your parents forever.

"My love," whispered your mother.

Who knew a parent's love could be this warm?

"You're so beautiful," cooed your mother.

You wanted to feel like this forever.

“Play with Papa, okay? Mama has to take care of something.”

“What, Mama?” you questioned.

“Nothing important, my love. I'll be back before you can even say ‘I love you.’ ”

You opened to say the three words your mother bet you couldn't say, but your father covered your mouth and began tickling you.

“Papa!”

Your father and mother locked eyes as she walked away from the field of flowers. Your father turned his attention back to you and lifted you to spin you around.

In the real world, your room was shrouded in blackness despite it being four o’clock. Everything was black and looked like a never-ending nightmare.

All your furniture was consumed by blackness. The door Yaga used to walk inside your bedroom was long gone.

“Leave Ama.”

Ayumi smiled as she cradled your unconscious body. “She belongs to us.”

Any normal person who looked at Ayumi, a seven-foot-tall Curse with sharp claws, and Yaga, a sorcerer with cute Cursed corpses at his feet, could tell that Ayumi would win.

“I adopted her, so I believe that makes her mine,” said Yaga as he rolled up his sleeves.

“I'll kill you, old man. Don't you understand?”

“Perfectly, but before you try, tell me something. What is your purpose?” Yaga asked as a stuffed rabbit hopped around him in circles.

“To consume,” she replied as she drew her claw down your cheek. “Ama's soul is so beautiful. She was born to fall.”

Yaga looked at your unconscious body, but all he saw was a young girl who only wanted to live and be loved. He guided you for months, raising you from the broken mindset you had before.

You lived sixteen years, just to be killed. You were a cow for slaughter, living in ignorance by the two beings you trusted to take care of you.

They were your friends and your family, raising you since you were young after the deaths of your parents, aunt, and uncle.

Yaga took off his glasses and slipped them into his pocket. The rabbit stopped hopping and stood by his feet, growing in size each second.

“Don't touch my daughter.”

Ayumi's eyes twitched as her nails dug into your arms. She clenched her teeth, grinding them as she looked at the human in front of her.

“SHE’S NOT YOURS!”

The wall behind her exploded and the sunlight from the outside exposed your bedroom as it was before. Debris flew everywhere as she jumped off your bed with your unconscious body in her arms.

Without a second to spare, Yaga ran toward the wall, jumped onto your bed, and threw himself off the fifth floor.

Ayumi turned midair, wings spreading out in a flurry as she pointed a claw at him. Her nails shot out like projectiles. Yaga twisted his body, narrowly dodging her attack as a Cursed Owl attached itself to his back and allowed him to fly.

From a distance, the students heard the explosion and their eyes were drawn to the smoke.

“That's the dorm,” Ieiri said as she stood up from the bench.

“Kaneko’s there,” added Geto.

“Of course, she'd be where the smoke is,” Gojo said with a groan.

Geto summoned a dragon, while Gojo used his technique to quickly move to where you were.

Just based on the incident at the college, Gojo knew trouble had a way of finding you and that if he didn't stop it, you would end up another statistic.

While he still didn't know much about you, he knew that the death of a fellow sorcerer on school grounds would not be tolerable.

Being raised in the Jujutsu world with his techniques, he knew that sorcerers had to be strong to survive, and that only the strong should survive.

But knowing that his friends and classmates weren't Special Grade sorcerers like him didn't stop him from caring about them.

Nanami, Haibara, and Ieiri weren't Special Grade sorcerers but he knew he would forever think about their deaths if they died.

He knew that they weren't as strong as him or Geto, but that didn't stop him from caring about them — though he would never admit it.

But you weren't his friend. He didn't care about you like he did with them, yet there was a nagging voice in his head.

So, Gojo would do his best to save you, but only because you were a Special Grade sorcerer. Your life was valuable to the Jujutsu world.

Hey pink!! Sorry for this super long post but I rlly wanted to share emy entire story. So before the void and everything I was pretty decent at manifesting. I used sunliminals and changed my nose, good grades, and some money and luck stuff. Then after struggling with the void my mindset went to shit. Like I would do SATS and affirm 24/7. I even did that 10k challenge thingie and did the 3dolc×roe and failed to get into the void. It was messing with me so bad. Then I came across your blog and your sabatoging post. And I really sat down to think abt it. Honestly I was so preoccupied with the void that I hadn't manifested anything in a while. But back when I did manifest stuff what did I do? I just listened to subliminals and went on with my day. So I used the subliminal you suggested to lucid dream and went to sleep listening to a lucid dream binaural beats video and I woke up in a lucid dream. It was so crazy bc I've never done it before and I had no idea how I knew I was in a lucid dream but I rmbred someone saying something about fingers or hands or something and I looker at my hand and I had 7 fingers lmao (ik, disgusting). Anyways, I closed my eyes and then when I opened my eyes I had woken up. To be honest I was so frustrated but then I read the other success story that was like wait for your dream to stabilize so I did the entire process again and this time I just like tried to control my dream (sooo weird I felt like I was in that one Leonardo DiCaprio movie where the girl is like making the buildings roll over on thenselves) and anyways some time passed and I knew my dream was stable so I did it again and I affirmed for a bit like "I am in the void state. " for 5 minutes then I opened my eyes and I was there. I got a bunch of things including df, db, and my desired voice.

Anyways this is just my theory and I barely did it once but I think that closing your eyes during a lucid dream wakes u up except like when you do this, you're at that super suggestible trance state where you're barely awake yk what I mean? Sorry idrk the word to describe this but anyways so I think that you should close your eyes and affirm for a bit before you open them again because if you open them, you might end up waking up but if you take advantage of the suggestive state then entering the void is easy. Plus, it's the whole ✨ vibe ✨ — Yoon-ho smelling strawberries and cigarettes in his suit after being in a car alone with Jong-in to release some pent up stress from work. "Taste" by Stray Kids → I BLAME STORM ON THIS ONE. She posted a video for the Solo Leveling Boyband AU, and since then, I can't imagine Choibaek having the same tension as this song has. Jong-in is literally a fire mage, don't you think he can make anything he touches hot?

"Don't let me love you" by Stray Kids → Storm sent me this when we were brainrotting about the Choibaek exes AU. I can imagine both Jong-in and Yoon-ho being in denial of their feelings because they're still stuck in the mindset of their rivalry and how much they hate each other.

"Enchanted" by Taylor Swift → this is technically my go-to Minlee anthem. Minlee is what I call "beautiful what-if" — two souls with shattered pasts had been brought together and healers who learned to heal each other. Romance between hunters is amazing and cool and breathtaking, but a romance between healers? It's like you're stepping into a shrine and you hear a distant echo of someone singing. I forever live with the fact that both Ju-hee and Byung-gyu will feel "enchanted" of meeting each other — can you imagine meeting someone who mirrors your soul and understands the pain you've gone through? "Can't Stop Loving You" by Toya Takase (ft. Emi Noda) → fun fact: this is the song I used for inspiration in my 1st Heeseok fic under the same title. It gives me the idea that regardless of whatever Eun-seok is, Hee-jin can't bring herself to stop loving him, especially when he's still that cute gentle and kind hunter in spite of his flaws. You might not understand the whole lyrics, but you can feel the main point of the song, as well in the title:).

you don't need any mindset. the void is literally just a meditative state with a fancy name. a lot of people call it the "i am meditation" because that is how most people get into it (by affirming i am). you're not getting in because you are overthinking. this state is literally apart of you! its all in you're head! it's literally just your body being asleep while your mind is awake. the only reason we use all this deep terminology is because we are all manifestation nerds and are ridiculously dramatic (lmfao).

i would recommend that you take a break from consuming content for awhile. overconsuming will just make you more anxious and frustrated. instead, take a break and go about normal activities for about a week or so without thinking about the void. when you do start to research again, go on yt, not tumblr. therealesttiller has some really good videos on his void experiences and how he got in. also watch this video: (https://youtu.be/67HE9NiLrG8?feature=shared).

change the assumption: i entered the void last night, i always enter the void instantly, im a void master. doubts are normal but dont let them get to u, if u already know the void exists, live in the end and feed yourself with the fact that you always enter.

whenever u sit down or lay down to enter, convince urself: i will enter this time just like i always do. believe in that fact, believe me or not, the assumption you have is what helps you the most.

Firstly (and I am saying this lovingly) slow down and calm down sweetheart. This is going to be sort of tough love so please be mindful that this is said with love:

Take trying out of your vocabulary, right this second. It is ruining your life. Manifesting is effortless, you should not be stressed. This should be fun!

Now your first assumption, knowing that the void is real is great. But it is real because you are real. You are quite literally everything, and everything is you. This is your reality, you need to reestablish yourself as god because from what I am reading it seems as though you have completely taken that out of the equation. While methods are great, PUT. THAT. DOWN. Btw, you don’t need the void either. You are the void love, drop that, it’s a middle man.

I am going to give you 5 steps. Follow them for the next week and come back and let me know how you’re doing:

1. Drop the methods. For the love of god, it is not needed.

2. Screenshot a couple posts that you believe will keep you focused and DELETE (you heard me) tumblr. You can reinstall it after a week.

3. Start identifying with the facts: you are god, you are creator, this is your reality, everything comes from you, and you have the ultimate say. These are not affirmations to make you believe you are god, you simply are sweetheart. Read it over and over until you get it.

4. The dedication that you are putting into every method you are over consuming needs to be redirected to you. Make a playlist of your favorite songs, and dance around in your room, raise that spirit sweets, because otherwise your stress will continue to reflect in everything in your reality. You need to take care of you and realign yourself, all of this week I want you to do things that make you happy. Favorite foods, favorite movies, cleaning your room, hanging out with friends, bring yourself to the present and realign with you before you start any work. Be kind to yourself and process how you feel right now in this moment.

5. Once you have taken a step back from everything and have gotten yourself out of that stressed headspace. The ONLY affirmation I want you to say is “I am at peace, so my world is at peace” no matter what is happening know that it is working in your favor, give no good or bad label to the circumstances that may come, direct yourself back to peace because it seems to me that you need that right now more than anything.

Give me a week and stick to it. Calm your mind, take care of yourself, provide what you are looking for in your reality to yourself, and it will reflect back to you. Everything is you.

Random boxes and packaging clutter took up the majority of the space in Parker’s studio, though after the message he just sent Emi he wasn’t really in the mindset to tiny up. This wasn’t something he had ever expected to do, but even with that said, he had never expected himself to be in this kind of situation with another man, and the fact that he had unintentionally dragged Emi into this was not great. But it wasn’t like he could ignore it, especially given the message she had sent him earlier that day. Emi was nice, and since they had got to know each other, he did consider her someone he wanted to be friends with… the fact that it had escalated the way it had not too long ago was… well, it wasn’t a mistake. Parker knew what his intentions were, and hers, but for it to evoke somehow the feelings it had in the aftermath... Well, that was something he hadn’t been prepared for. 

Really, all we could hope for was for his manager to not pop in, and for that reason, he didn’t plan to lock the door. He could say he was meeting with a friend, but trying to explain why it was locked with a girl inside was not in his or Emi’s best interests, and given what he had to do, he didn’t want to cause any more issues for Emi. 

When he hears the door open, he smiles and looks up from the desk chair he’s been sitting in and gestures to the space he’s managed to keep clear on the couch. “Sorry about the weird text. How are you?”
