Imagine Hee-jin having to adjust big-time to her newfound powers, especially with controlling her ice powers; other elves laugh at her mistakes and Sillad will shut them up with his glare.

Made For The Spotlight

Pairing: Sung Jinwoo/Cha Haein

Summary: Cha Haein, a former athlete turned model has to make a photoshoot with the new star, Sung Jinwoo. Their paths keep crossing at different events, the public love them together, they don't really love the public but they are good at what they do and it pays well.

Up there it's the premise of the story, it's a modern AU with no powers, I think I should clarify that.

Here are the few key points for the beginning:

Haein like in canon was an athlethe but like in canon suffered an injury that made her stop. But she had gotten enough attention where she was able to stay in relevant in the media by modeling in photoshoots, commercials and stuff. (she's not tall for runaway, but good for magazine)

Jinwoo is an athlete, a football player. His team just won the Asian Cup, he was MVP, so right now he's booked and busy, but he's always been in the eye, he was in the Under-20 team.

They meet in a photoshoot for a brand like Calvin Klein, not it, so not entirely dressed, there's underwear, topless shoots, photoshoot needs closeness and tension. They meet for the first time there, both are quite taken with each other.

The shoot lasts all day long, they're playing around, sometimes she has to sit on him, he has to hold her up, it's very intimate. They're not virgins, so they ponder on the idea of hooking up, they've touched too much of each other to not think about it.

I'm not sure who to make their agents... anyway at the end of the day, while they are changing, Jinwoo makes a move. He's about to leave the city for some other job and he tells her when he'd be back.

So, they end up hooking up, no strings attached. It's out of the ordinary for them both, they're each others' first public figures, but that's why they're also on edge.

They don't keep in touch, they didn't get each others numbers, they forgot.

They end up together in another commercial for perfumes, you know like the D&G or Dior, where sometimes people even kiss. yes. there's different scenes that will be picked out so they're reminiscing on their night together. By the end, Jinwoo invites her out for a meal instead. Nothing comes out of it, they hook up tho, they found that they're really compatible in bed.

They meet again at Fashion Week, they talk in the afterparty and finally give it a chance, saying that maybe it was another sign to finally get the number.

The premise says that the public loves them but for some it is separate rather than together, Jinwoo is a hot topic so his fans are becoming quite territorial and parasocial, Haein doesn't like that, her comments are flooding once articles come out.

Others are actively shipping (like us) so they want to see them in more projects together. They flood comments with each others gifs, make edits of the two... what we do lmaoo

The story will show their relationship progress, from hook ups, to meeting in disguise once in a while, to whenever they can, accidentally meeting family and having to be introduced formally as well. There will be some downs at the distance for their jobs, the comments, their appearances with someone else or the media trying to create stories and stuff. There's some bad arcs that will be given due to that and stalkers. There might be another of Jinwoo completely relocating as a contract from a European team came through that put everything on the rocks.

Despite the hook ups I will make them like they are, I love me some Haein blushing and being flustered, while Jinwoo catch her off guard, teases and stuff.

In most of the fic, i will say that their relationship in whichever point it is, it's a secret to the public, but they act it out well on the screen and avoid questions. Title is sarcastic, they actually hate it and are made for it solely on their appearance, they don't really like to be recognized and the rest.

haha, nope. i honestly just wanted to draw oc & oc interactions lmao. i think they'd be descent friends due to their shared similarities tho.

i guess Nawa (as far as i know of her character) would see herself in Laya and try to befriend her and even advise her to follow the right path.

Laya on the other hand would think Nawa is too nice and attempt to get her out of that mindset, kind of how Mk is to nawa. but would soon grow to like her.

The voices of the twins are deep, almost as low and husky as their dad's its just that Suho talks a little more lazy and Kiwoo is always fast-talking in a hovh pitched-ish voice but they have similar voice patterns to Jinwoo.

All the twins needed to do was dress in full black straight back, and have a cold demeanor (Kiwoo used his powers to turn his hair black www)

I imagine Hae-in carrying him in bridal style if she's in her were-dragon(?) form. There is barely a difference between their weights, but if Hae-in wants to carry him the same way he carries her, why not? Jin-woo gets flushed every time, yet makes no complaints. He melts at her affections.

2021 - for all its ups and downs for me - was a good year for my creative output. If I'm trusting my statistics, I turned out more posted works than any previous year.

Now part of this was no doubt due to the fact that I was *ahem* under-employed for much of the year. But regardless, I do feel a sense of accomplishment.

I also wrote two more pieces --- It's Good To Be The Empress and Immersion --- that I showed only a handful of people. I won't ever post them to Tumblr. But if I ever do a Patreon....

Still - overall, a solid year.

It's been a long time since I've ever seen green in the sky. I don't think the sun sets the same here as where I used to live.

The last song I listened to: House of the Rising Sun by The Animals apparently. It's on one of my character playlists.

The last film I watched: we're gonna take "film" as full length movie and one that I watched all the way to the end and the latest was Trap which I saw in cinemas (kinda disappointing for my first thriller, at some point I thought the trailers we saw for the horror movies might have been a more thrilling time. Also, there's a serial killer called The Butcher but I saw no butchering. What's up with that? Where is the gore?? Spoiler but no one died in that entire movie). Anyway, this is also how I learned something that should have been obvious the whole time, which is that the trailers before whatever movie you're watching in a cinema are all within the same or similar genre. I'd only ever really gone to see family and popular/mainstream entertainment movies my whole life up until now and I feel robbed of all the cool thriller and horror trailers that have been advertising a whole other genre of movies I somehow didn't clock properly existed until now. Like everyone's always talking about the new sequels or remakes of old horror classics but you mean to tell me there were new horror and thriller films yearly just like everything else this whole time that I've never had advertised to me??

Currently reading: either Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson or my civil procedure and corporate law textbooks. Pick one. I haven't even really touched Treasure Island in a week since I've been doing research reading across journal articles more than anything.

This is part of my original work rather than any of my fanfics. The sentence comes from very early on in chapter 3. It's always a fun challenge writing for Geronimo. Since he's almost totally blind, I have to adjust how I typically describe settings and even the presence of other characters. This sentence isn't the greatest example, but there (he was listening to the rain outside before bringing his attention to the people talking near him).

Lmaoo. Funny, so:

turtle = pagong. We usually say it as an insult to people who move slowly and always not aware of the time.

airplane = eroplano.

I can't choose any favourite or I don't have anything in mind at all. But according to my vocabulary, the most used was a curse word. Other than that, because I'm a hoe in nature (only in theory, not in practice), I use the word "kilig" (n. a feeling of exhilaration or elation caused by an exciting or romantic experience) which has no translation in English so it was put in Merriam-Webster the way it is.

Ex. from Google: "she could not contain her smiles and kilig, especially when he brought a bouquet of flowers just for her".

So I say "kinikilig ako" or "I'm kilig" whenever I'm looking at my fav members in classic rock.

But I looked up something for at least more reflective and sensible stuff:

word: Hiraya (fruit of one's hopes, dreams, and aspirations).

phrase: Hiraya Manawari (may the wishes of your heart be granted).
