I DID SEE IT, BUT CHARACTER BUILDING QUESTIONS SOMETIMES GET ACCIDENTALLY PUSHED OFF BECAUSE PROCRASTINATE, BUT HERE WE GO!!

They worry about a lot of stuff, and the heaps of trauma they have aren't really helping.

Both have insecurities; Nawa's worried of becoming an enabler/passerby like her mother, or with MK worrying about the potential responsibilities his kid/s might shoulder in the future.

Post Qi Trio, they're not the best parents, but they're doing the best they can, even if Nawa's paranoid and meticulous, or if MK's a bit unreliable and puts too much faith in his kids that he doesn't really notice what they're feeling, but they're really trying.

Yeah, it doesn't excuse some of the off-putting things they do, but they're genuinely trying.

Haoran's current closed-off self is a byproduct of their mentality, but he knows and tries to understand as best he can because he's old enough to know what happened when his parents were younger.

How is the felt nawa going?

okay, it might've been a mistake to order the materials since the artist i comm'ed has sent me an update,, like i commissioned them since february/march, and this month's the only time i received progress,,, i think they're gonna finish it, which is why i decided im not gonna make the plush myself

Hmm, technically no,, it's like these two:

note: manawari is mostly used to refer to both divine nawa, and human nawa. it can also be used to refer to only one of them, too

In a way, her soul (the divine part, nawa is seperated into two parts: divine and human, with the combined parts resulting in the one in MS:TET's cover photo) does remember, but only so she won't use the same choices/methods she took in previous lifetimes.

this is as to prevent the loss of sanity, or giving up the mission assigned to her by guanyin - kind of like a failsafe!

no one actually truly remembers, but they'll get something akin to deja vu or intuition, which is enough to deter them from doing the same action they did the previous timeline

... divine-half nawa is an exception though. she remembers *all* of manawari's experiences, so she's kind of like the keeper/computer of all experiences she and her human-half went through. she won't go insane because she's not human, thus not being affected by the memories whatsoever.

sometimes there are 'leaks' due to nawa's duality such as her recklessness and habit of self-sacrifice. she's designed by a being of compassion to be compassionate, and that produces an error in her human-half's judgment and causes her to put others before herself in a very unhealthy way. it's like being too perfect that it causes imperfections.

No, he doesn't remember previous cycles. mk's frustrated with this habit of hers, and he doesn't get it at all.

MK is hyperfocused on by both the divine half and the human half because he's a key part in fulfilling her mission

previous cycles, yeah!

95% percent of those times have her die though, because that means the cycle strayed off its intended path (plot)

there's one cycle where lbd possessed him and she just lets him kill her slowly (she didn't die of asphyxiation, moreso her neck getting snapped because we all know mk is strong; bro could literally carry the ruyi jingu bang, so snapping her neck wouldn't be that difficult for him)

incident pre-TET, he literally had to manhandle her (resulted in a bit of injury on her end) just so she wouldn't fling herself off a building

basically, if she thinks that it's necessary, she's willing to fight him

and saving him is a given, seeing as he's one of the people she's emotionally dependent on
