life update (11/8/2024)

- MY SCHOOL PUT CLASSES ON SATURDAYS????

- I bought felt fabric, sewing materials, and a bunch of other stuff to make a nawa plush. I'm still in the sketching and planning phase

- been avoiding social media for my health

- i've been summoned by the government (in a good way, this is srs)

- i finally blocked a stalker from all my accounts!!! 🎊🎉

- i'm studying toon boom harmony mechanics and tools on my free time at school

i was discussing stuff with my friend, and he said something about "if they're not human, prolly some kind of demon, perhaps they would get attached and view her like a favorite toy or pet to keep instead of seeing her as a prisoner" and i liked the idea so much

How did she meet MK and why him?

Met Mei first in middle/high school > Nawa was a bad influence/friend to her so MK confronts Nawa > They beat the heck out of eachother (not too badly, MK pried the bat off her hands, and he defended himself well with a broom) and both landed in the guidance counselor's office > He offered her truce chocolate and she begins to soften up after that

There's a period where she's kinda rough– but transitioning into young adulthood, she turns into a doormat because she regrets previously lashing out at others, and also because of her faith.

Unfortunately, she does put him on a sort of pedestal because of his act of kindness.

why is Nawa's name pretty similar to Nuwa.its pretty strange how they have similar names.where did you get the name Nawa anyways?

Coincidence is funny! I didn't know Lady Nüwa's existence prior to the reveal (or I just simply forgot–)

But Nawa's just a nickname. Her full name's Manawari! It's just shortened because it's quite a mouthful.

(Edit: just noticed the last sentence,, there is no such thing as wasting time– we have plenty, at least until we die anyways 🤷‍♂️ simple questions can be asked! I really don't mind)

Why didn't Agwa eat Little Nawa that day, but only her father?

YEAHHHH, SPOILERS! I HAVE Y E T TO ILLUSTRATE THIS, BUT LESSS GO

When someone has Haliya's power, Agwa awakens, and she has a want to break free from her prison, descend to Earth, and eradicate that power because she vowed to erase Haliya's existence even though she's not really sane (more animalistic) at this point – it's the only thing on her mind. The chains are his life/magic being eaten/staved off to keep her imprisoned on the moon (hence my previous comments about Haliya and glue, their lives are what is literally keeping it TOGETHER)

This can be paused/frozen, but it is not a permanent solution because in order to freeze it, you will have to forget a huge chunk of your memories/identity, and Laho did not want to forget Nawa.

He died slowly in a hospital withering. Doctors did not know what it was, but the Illustre (one of the biggest oligarchs/government in the Philippines) paid them off to keep quiet about it and just label it as something else.

Crunch.

Nawa's going through the same thing, only this time, it's accelerated because she was 'frozen' for a long time. No, she hasn't told anyone. Not even her family.
