What things annoyed and infuriated you the most in Wish 2023 (or Canon!Wish)?
OOOOH BOY! You just gave me permission to open a whole can of worms! Let's gooo!
Okay so here's a list:
I don't like how weak the reveal of what Magnifico actually does is. Asha finds out that he doesn't grant all the wishes, awesome, that would be a cool reveal, except, it's not a reveal, she freakin KNEW THIS! Asha herself said to a kid "It could be you someday" COULD! Asha, you said COULD, as in, there's the POSSIBILITY he'll grant that kid's wish, not a certainty! Not to mention if he only grants ONE wish per month then OF FREAKING COURSE not all wishes are granted. Okay, case in point, there's no grand reveal that the king is doing something no one knew, Asha apparently just forgot how their kingdom works.
Now hear me out, I am NOT one of those people that says Magnifico is a hero and Asha is a villain, I wanna make this clear, because although I find people who legit think like that kinda funny and I reblog their takes from time to time, I also find it frustrating that Disney managed to make a STRAIGHT, WHITE, MAN, IN A POSITION OF POWER, MORE LIKABLE THAN THEIR SECOND BLACK PROTAGONIST! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? IT'S SO EASY TO MAKE US HATE HIM!!!-ahem- But, although Magnifico is the most likable character in the movie, I do not see him as a hero, no no no, keeping the wishes away from the people of Rosas is bad, pretending that he'd grant Sabino's wish only to say SIKE was bad, saying he'd never grant Asha family's wishes was bad. So, am I saying Magnifico is a villain?... No. That's topic number 2, Magnifico wasn't a villain, he was a jerk. A jerk does not a villain make. I didn't feel threatened by that man for not a single minute, and that's including when he was possessed by the evil book, speaking of which.
That dang book both ruined and saved the movie honestly, because yeah, although it's a stupid way to make Magnifico an actual villain, but in a way that makes us sympathize with him since he's not in his right mind, and the last thing you want is for the audience to feel bad for your villain... Well, there's exceptions of course, but that's a whole other subject. But even though the book caused all this damage, it also gave us King unhinged, campy, straight up evil, fruity, voiced by Chris Pine having the time of his life Magnifico, and I loved every second of it, I ate possessed Magnifico up, I was living for every cringe cliche evil dialogue that came out of him, like hell yeah, that's what I've been waiting for, that's what it's all about WOOOOOO!!! I loved him so much I just copy pasted his personality into the Magnifico in my rewrite, although, my version is actually willing to kill teens, while Canon Mag seemed more hesitant for some reason, my headcanon is that Magnifico was fighting the curse deep down, and that's why his magic actually didn't hurt anyone, so... That's sad, hope he breaks out of the mirror and kills them all Idk
We're on topic 4 and this is not even half of my problems oh my... Anyway, Asha is boring. And I mean like, in a way that feels intentional, how did they do it? It's fascinating how she has nothing going for her, she doesn't stand out, doesn't have any internal conflicts at the start of the movie, something ALL Disney princesses have: Belle doesn't fit in with her village, Mulan struggles to make her family proud, Mirabel struggles to make her family proud x10.000, Moana wants to explore the sea but can't, Ariel wants to explore the land but can't, Jasmine wants to get out of the castle but can't, Cinderella is a victim of domestic abuse, ya'll get the idea, all these girls get their struggles that make them compelling, what's Asha's struggle that has been with her for most of her life?... Uh... Her grandpa, this dude we just met and seems pretty happy... Doesn't have his wish granted yet... Ok, what else? Oh yeah everyone in town seems to love her and dance along with her to show tourists how cool the kingdom is... Uhum... So yeah she has no compelling struggles that hook us with her from the start, and the conflict she DOES get, as I explained before, feels underwhelming.
The setting, oh the setting. Like, don't get me wrong, the architecture is pretty, but nothing about it screams SPAIN to me, where is the cultural food? Where are the bulls? Where's the stuff we associate with the Iberian Peninsula? They did such a good job in Encanto, what the heck happened? Oh and did I mention that most of the animals that appear in the forest are not even native to the Iberian Peninsula, there would be no racoons in a medieval setting there, considering they're an invasive species that was brought there from North America, something that, I assume, wouldn't be possible back then, as I don't think the americas were even discovered yet, but anyway, there they are, racoons hanging upside down from their tails, something they can't even do. Sorry for expecting biology accuracy from my disney movie guys, but you can't just make Encanto, that was freaking amazing with it's inclusion of so many gorgeous latin American animals, and then do whatever Wish is, like bruh where were the Lynxes??? They're an endangered species there, Disney could've raised awareness!!!
The music...
Valentino was absurdly annoying, and it would be SO EASY to make a baby goat cute! Baby. Goats. Are. Cute. SO WHY DID YOU MAKE HIM UNFUNNY GOAT THAT MAKES BUTT JOKES???
Characters were unmemorable, Asha's mom didn't do anything, Sabino, whose supposed to be the backbone of the story, is barely a character, and again, it's not like Disney hasn't made likable elderly people before, Moana's grandma, Mama Coco, but my guy Sabino was just... There.
Aaaand I probably could go on and on but I can't think of anything else, feel free to share your own problems with the movie yall.

I am howling at the sky for the look tonight that Harvey Guillén staked to death, spat on, and made it beg on the red carpet. Instead of just ranting to my queer fashion/fandom retail friends again, I took our collective slobber and tears to outline my plea to the fashion gods.
Why doesn’t this man have a ‘mens’wear line in every American mall? There is a gap in the market for adventurous, queer friendly suiting available through a retailer like Macys/J C Penney. Yes, retail is dying and wedding industry more so, but that’s particular to what’s available for consumers as well. Suiting is turned from off the rack into iconic by proper tailoring, but let me tell you from working all sides of the bridal salon, even up-scale clothing lines are getting rude as hell about quality and assembly to prevent tailoring and longevity.
This kid’s Disney charm would be perfect for introducing a plus size, inclusive line of fashion-forward pieces which include, say a QR code video about taking your own measurements, how adjustments work, with pieces designed to be sleek, with enough allowance for tailoring, and minding the lines in the garment to make the adjustments for plus size bodies easier. It’s no more adjustments than are made on straight size bodies, it’s just straight size bodies have more options to find a line which works with their natural shape.
But in my experience, it’s gender non-conforming folks and plus sized folks who get pushed out of finding pieces they can actually use for celebrations or work, much less pieces with actual personality that spark joy. This man has been killing it for years, really getting some clutch looks for events and invites in the fashion world. He’s showing proof of concept every time he steps in front of a camera.
Watching Harvey’s fashion evolution, I trust his fashion team and judgement to create a mid/high line for workwear to events suiting embracing a gender nonconforming audience. I can’t think of anyone better situated to become the ambassador of a brand with *the* formal wear for queer events and special occasions. I was tickled to see he sells his own merch and hope this experience convinces him of the joy working with artists and connecting their visions to a wanting public, dipping toes into the new ethical, sustainable trends in fashion. His looks alone shows he’s done his homework over the years about timelessness and early adopting trends.
For the years I worked selling/tailoring wedding dresses, there was the prophetic ‘someday… along will come the man who revives men’s fashion for events again’ to save the David’s bridal/men’s wear house lines who keep dropping plus sizes like mine and dying off. As the pet butch in the bridal salon I pleaded to the sky for better suiting options. Add that to my butch lezzy ways and trans masc circle of friends I legit spent this past Friday night drunk in a bar with a seam ripper adjusting jackets and darting pants in an unplanned sewing circle for a bachelorette until it was my round of karaoke. This isn’t the first time I’ve spontaneously started tailoring for the queers, I can’t keep up with the demand! Y’all we are in our twenties to mid thirties there should be better options than this that don’t require a vacation to LA/NY!!
I have ethical, sustainable fashion preferences about slipping in a retailer versus an online brand. But for the vision of accessible clothing to the masses pushing the envelope of the kind of quality only vintage pieces are affording the general public, this is the only celebrity really posed with the image, high energy, and bona fides to be the face of it. His connections in the fashion game are only growing as WWDITS wraps up.
If this man opened a pop-up suiting/fashion shop I’d take my limited time and resources to really dig in to the designers he promoted. I’d be howling in the streets for my celebrants to go get a Gullién. There’s no shortage online pattern makers, but there is a shortage of queer friendly shops to really get pieces that pop and it feels safe to enjoy in a retail environment. For average people wanting to engage with fashion that affirms their identity on their special day, there’s too much fucking compromise. Honestly it’s nice that I have a side hustle sewing to pattern, but I’d give it up in a fucking heartbeat for there to be actually sustainable and approachable options. I wish there was an in between of being ‘affordable’ gnc suiting in an American mall but add plus size availability and it gets sad for your most thrifty, creative friends. Someone needs the step in the gap, and why not someone at the top of the game?
Even if it was just a pop up line every few years, I’d fucking salivate over every image in that catalogue two thousand miles away for what it can teach home sewists just by virtue of curating those artisans with the express goal of queer, fat friendly designs playing together. Just the existence of vintage shops like Proud Mary creates a boom across the inter-webs of new sewists per post. Could anyone really imagine if there were actually accessible stores in key cities/supported by an online catalog with a personable, rising star as the brand face?
Tumblr media
Please feed us more fashion, Harvey. Keep those stylists and designer friends close. Please. I cannot stress how many mascs/nb-bebes keep dropping your name every fitting consultation across this nation and it’s for good reason.

~Things I would do if I played Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame~
"No, last year, [Frollo] said 'someday.........maybe!'" is played for laughs.
Smiling but very confused during the end of Topsy Turvy, like "oh they like me now, ok, I'm still not really sure what changed in those few seconds-"
Like in a community theatre production I saw, I don't reject Phoebus' help following Quasimodo being attacked.
"Oh no, not me, gargoyle..." is played for laughs like in the Papermill production/boot.
For "But in winter...cold", I actually try to think of something to say before simply settling on "...cold"
I do the "oh I'm gonna fall!" trick more than once during "Top of the World"
Absolutely lovesick during "Heaven's Light"
Straight up BOLTING for the bells at the end of "Emeralda"
Quite confused at the start of "Flight Into Egypt", like "where did Saint Aphrodisius come from???"
My Quasi is the absolute WORST liar. It's a miracle Frollo believes him in the scene following "Flight Into Egypt"-
I do little jazz hands towards the statues when I tell Frollo I'm just talking to "....my friends!" after hiding Phoebus
Starts internally/not so subtly panicking when Frollo puts his lamp on the finger of the statue.
"It's a clue!....she gave me!" is played for laughs like in the Papermill production/boot.
Quasi says "I don't hear anything" (like in the aforementioned community theatre production I saw) rather than Phoebus; played for laughs.
I'm absolutely devastated during "In a Place of Miracles", almost crying.
Angriest "Made of Stone" ever XD
G note at the end of "Made of Stone"
Smiling during the "Made of Stone reprise" in the finale, like I'm saying to the statues "hell yeah let's do this!!"
Brief pause before I reply "Yes, your friend!" to Esmeralda. I'm sad that Esmeralda doesn't romantically like me but then it hits me that being her friend is still the greatest honor.
Barely containing anger when Frollo says he could've loved Esmeralda.
I whisper "yes I do" while the gargoyles whisper "yes you do"
I make it a bit more clear that Quasi killing Frollo was spur of the moment and in a blind rage, so when he says the "There lies all I have ever loved" line, and it works a bit better.
I give Phoebus a hug during the "Out There reprise" in the finale.
More of a directorial thing, but I keep the marks on my face, so I'm deformed along WITH the cast. I saw a comment on a video related to the musical (I forget what video tho-) where the acceptance of Quasimodo in the musical is less of "you're beautiful like us" like in the Disney movie and more of "we're ugly like you". I like that a lot more than what the show does. (everyone is deformed other than Quasimodo)
Either the townsfolk reveal they are deformed in their own ways like in the US productions or a crowd gathers around Quasi and young girl who is deaf like him signs "I love you" to him like in the community theatre production I saw.
🔔✨The end!!!🔔✨

IWTV S2 Ep1 Musings - Dreams, Nightmares, and Faith
Tumblr media
Wow. 😍 I love the new title card, with the bomber jets & explosions over upside-down...Paris? Romania? IDGAF--it's cool! I am SO glad AMC took us through war-torn Europe!
Something I found so interesting was the question of whether vampires dream or not.
Tumblr media
(Armand stfu omg, him & Les both calling Claudia Infant Death 😅)
In the books, AR's vamps go into deathlike sleep--they're not really conscious, don't get woken up by much unless THEY'RE ready to wake up, and don't dream.
Tumblr media
Vamps are like the dead, but UNdead--they're DAMNED. The damned don't get to wish for rainbows when they dwell in darkness. They die with their heartaches and grief, and spread it to others as harbingers of death.
Tumblr media
In WWII Europe, societal vampires (Nazis, Soviets, etc) and actual vampires coexist, each preying on the innocent & vulnerable. Louis & Claudia literally tear through the battlefields and waypoints. I was wrong about them eating the dead/blown up body parts--they were feeding on dying soldiers, not ones already dead, but TBH at this point I don't know which is worse?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You feel sorry for Darciana and her revenant "child," sure, but there's also Morgan & Emilia--and what about everyone in that bunker (all those old women & kids), who'll probably starve now that their sole hunter/trapper can't get food for them anymore? Just so these serial killing vamps can eat!?!
Tumblr media
Louis thinks "the blood is bad here" cuz they're drinking "misery and hopelessness" in war survivors & POWs etc; but really the misery & hopelessness is IN THEM. LOUIS is miserable (without Lestat). CLAUDIA feels hopeless (with Louis/her own companion). THEY (as vamps) bring misery wherever they go, internally & externally.
Tumblr media
You're the walking DEAD, Louis. :( You will ALWAYS be cold. U_U
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's bad EVERYWHERE--love & community is what keeps people going--
Tumblr media Tumblr media
--even in the middle of what seems like an apocalypse--be it WWII, or the "flying vampire apocalypse/Great Conversion." Even in a hellish place like the Theatre and the Children of Satan/Darkness. We all need/want a HOME.
Tumblr media
Louis & Claudia have been stuck in a figurative nightmare, walking through the valley of the shadow of death along the Devil's Road. But poor AMC!Claudia has actual nightmares. 😭
Tumblr media
She tells herself (through her diaries) that she doesn't dream, denying the suffering she goes through, trying to stay strong and not give her trauma power.
Tumblr media
The tabula rasa of "infants" and child-like innocence that Armand refers to is just The Void for her. By avoiding her troubles, she's probably giving more power to the things that scare her the most.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AMC KNOWS what they're doing! Claudia's in denial too, and DreamStat's calling them BOTH out on it--but like Delainey said: unlike Louis, Claudia doesn't need a hallucination version of Les to tell her what she already knows--he's in her; he's her father--moreso than Louis, who only ever gets called "Daddy" now when they need to fake it! (Or is it REALLY fake for her? When she gets hurt, she yells for Daddy Lou's attention....)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's her behavior with Louis', and her nightmares, compared to DreamStat. Cuz Louis' not asleep--he's wide awake, but being awake for him is like living in a nightmare with his eyes wide open. Louis said his own dreams were "erratic and often," but which ones is he even talking about, REALLY? His actual dreams? Or DreamStat; the figment of his imagination he admitted to "inviting" inside his head?
Tumblr media
The Disney song goes "Have faith in your dreams and someday...the dreams that you wish will come true." For Louis his dream is obvs Lestat, and obvs by PLatRoA and Blood Communion Looustat's dream finally comes true. But for Claudia her dream is companionship, but also knowledge. She wants/demands answers.
Tumblr media
(Only for us to find out 2 books later that all the legends really ARE true!)
Louis's having a crisis of faith--he is SCARED of his dreams, and what it says about himself, and has accepted his damnation with fatalistic & willfully blind cynicism--just like Armand does with the Childrren of Darkness/Satan, he's slowly losing his religion/faith in God (read: their "dead" exes: Lestat & Marius), while doubling down on the idea that they are damned and that all that exists is Hell/Damnation/Satan/etc.
Tumblr media
He'd rather believe that baboons are roaming Europe than face another vampire who might reveal more about him than he's ready to accept.
Tumblr media
He talks down to Claudia just like Lestat did; and constantly crushes her dreams by being a wet blanket. He gives her NOTHING positive or affirmative to look forward to.
Daciana's suicide is a wake-up call: she IS a good vampire (reltively speaking, ofc). She has dreams and wishes and loving feelings, too. She's visibly in emotional turmoil & pain, which Louis can relate to; acknowledging her as human, and finally looking forward to the future Claudia wants for all of them: companions sharing stories & knowledge & love; "we're a family?"
Louis COULD'VE followed Daciana into hopeless misery, but luckily he DOES have Claudia; them helping e/o to stay out of the fire.
Tumblr media
And as sick as it is, Lou also has Lestat, and the comfort of knowing that no matter how bad he acts/gets, he's still alive.
Tumblr media
There's still that glimmer of HOPE: "a spark in the dark."
Tumblr media
As an aside:
Tumblr media
Romania as the "ancestral home" of vampires is hilarious. Claudia's desperate to find out the truth--and she's close, for sure, as there are obviously vamps crawling all over Europe--but my heart just aches thinking about how mind blown Claudia would be if she found out that the REAL ancestral home of AR's vampires was Egypt.
Tumblr media
Cinematic poetry, putting AR in the same frames where Louis talks about Dracula--only to drag vampire superstitions a few minutes in, as Louis and Claudia bicker over garlic & crucifixes. XD

I’ve put this off for a while now but I finally finished it after so long. So now I bring to you:
Disney’s “Loser, Baby”
Faciler:
You’re all defeated and have no power at all
Your poor henchmen are oh so hopeless
(to Lady Tremaine) And watchin’ Cindy dance at Charming’s grand ol ball
must make you feel ugly and dopeless
You have nothing now that your plans are wrecked
Well let me just say you’re correct!
Hades:
Wait…WHAT?!
Faciler:
You’re all losers, babies
(To Prince John) Cowardly little babies
You’re real messed up
Used to be rich
You’re all losers just like me
Prince John: How dare you!
Facilier:
(To Gaston) You’re a pig with the ladies
(gesturing to all the villains that literally died) New spirits for dear old Hades
(to Captain Hook) You’re a sub-rate captain and we’re laughin’
But you are not alone!
Hook: Is this supposed to make us feel better?!
Facilier:
There was a time where I had to accept my fate
My friends all lacked mercy and were graceless
(to Hook and Randall) But getting beat by kids can sometimes set you straight
We’re all living in a game of favorites
Jafar:
I’ve been betrayed by the use of magic
Facilier:
And you think your story’s tragic? (spoken) Get outta here, J
(singing) We’re all losers, babies
We’re losers, it’s okay to be a-
Hans: Selfish, hated weirdo?
Facilier:
My man, that’s fine by me
Ursula:
I’m a loser, honey~
Scar:
A schmoozer
Edgar:
And a dummy
The rest of the villains:
But at least we know we’re not alone!
All including Facilier:
You’re a loser, just like me!
Lotso:
Tied to a garbage truck, I’m chilling
Cruella:
I’ve got an appetite for killing dogs so I could wear their fur as coats!
Facilier:
Go ahead darlin, sing that song!
Mother Gothel:
I got thrown off from my own tower
Facilier:
I made a pact to get more power
Frogs got me to the voodoo world
All:
We lost and now we’re suffering every hour
Hook:
You’re a loser, baby
Facilier:
A loser, but just maybe if we
All:
Just drink together, it’s better for you and me
Facilier:
The villains are all here to stay
(Rest of the villains: Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh)
We’ll get our revenge someday, for now
play your cards, be who you are
All:
A loser, just like me~
Based off of this post I made a while back and credit to @imtryingandtired for coming up with one of the lines

Wouldn't a 'hunchback of Notre dame' AU be pretty wild though?
Okay, hear me out. Also, let me use 'they' as Nimona's pronoun for this but I totally believe in 'any pronoun for Nimona, except 'IT'
Outcast of the Realm, AU Part 1: Characters
Nimona as Quasimodo-coded because they're an outcast, a SHAPESHIFTER.
Tumblr media
In this world though, the realm is ACTUALLY aware of them but they're super rare and the minority. Some even try to hide it to fit in better.
Nimona had parents. They perished when the Director herself, along with some knights, were pursuing them.
Nimona was a baby and survived and instead of killing them, the Director decided to take it in, seeing the potential of fighting fire with fire someday and using them as a weapon.
Obviously, Ballister would be Esmerelda-coded.
Tumblr media
Unlike the movie, he doesn't become a knight. He does become something of a vigilant, though.
Ambrosius is obviously captain Phoebus-coded. I mean...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pretentions names aside, they're also both blond... And the love interest. I don't make the rules.
The Director is obviously Judge Frollo. I'm writing her backstory as 'her parents were killed by shapeshifters' but it's a misunderstanding because the shapeshifters were just running away from them and because her parents were hunting them, they ended up in an accident that caused them their lives. Totally not the shapeshifters fault.
But that's her truth so she wants the realm eradicated from all shapeshifters.
Queen Valerin is the monarch trying to change the views of shapeshifters in their realm. Her role is basically the Archdeacon from Disney's version of the tale.
The director is obviously oppose to this and will attempt to murder her. At first, she thought about using Nimona to do it but she still wants to keep them around in case she can use them for a weapon later.

Comments about "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" that can and should coexist
I think these comments address every feminist complaint I've ever read about the 1937 Disney classic, though I don't know if they'll all be "addressed" in the live-action remake or not.
"It's an old-fashioned convention for a fictional young girl's dreams to revolve around romance, based in the outdated, patriarchal idea that love and marriage are what female lives 'naturally' revolve around and should revolve around. It's only appropriate that more 'modern,' 'feminist' heroines have different wishes and goals."
and
"For a lonely, abused orphan like Snow White, whose only apparent friends at the beginning are birds, it's perfectly natural that she should dream of love."
"Love at First Sight isn't realistic, to portray it in modern media is out of fashion, and in real life, it would be ridiculous at best and disturbing at worst for a young man to just notice a pretty girl singing alone in a courtyard and promptly climb over the wall and sing a love song to her."
and
"Love at First Sight is a storytelling convention, and children can see it in fairy tales without assuming it's real. It won't make your daughter instantly run off with a cute stranger. Snow White and the Prince's romance isn't meant to be realistic – it's a simple, old-fashioned, idealized Romeo and Juliet-style romance, and we should feel free to enjoy it as such."
"Modern feminism doesn't like damsels in distress. It's only natural that in today's media, heroines should show more strength in the face of danger than they did in 1930s media."
and
"It's perfectly natural for Snow White to be petrified with fear when the Huntsman is about to kill her – instead of, say, trying to fight back – and frantic with terror as she runs through the dark forest. Not because 'girls are weak,' but because she's so young. A boy in the same situation would have just as much right to be terrified. Besides, after her initial terror passes, she proves remarkably resilient as she comforts herself by befriending the animals and singing a song. Not all strength looks 'tough,' after all."
"The original Grimms' tale and the 1937 film's emphasis on Snow White's cleaning and cooking reflects an outdated, patriarchal model of ideal femininity. It's probably best for a modern retelling to at least slightly downplay it, or omit it altogether."
and
"There's absolutely nothing wrong with having a nurturing personality and favoring domestic skills, regardless of gender. It's perfectly fine that as an individual, Snow White enjoys cooking and uses songs and imagination to make housework fun. Especially because of the Cinderella-like life her stepmother forced her into – domestic work is the main skill that she's learned, and it's all she has to offer the dwarfs in exchange for staying in their house."
"The 1937 Snow White is a bit too much of a 'mother hen' to the dwarfs, in a way that arguably borders on ableism. In a modern reimagining, she should remember that they're her elders, not children, and give them due respect."
and
"It's endearing to watch Snow White cajole, gently scold, and tease the dwarfs, and to gain power over a household of seven men in her own soft way."
"As the Queen's only (step)child, Snow White is presumably the heir to the throne. Retellings focuses on her coming into her own as a leader, leading a rebellion against the Queen, and finally becoming queen herself in the end are valid. So are retellings where the Queen is only Snow White's regent and wants to kill her not just for her beauty, but to keep the throne for herself."
and
"Snow White doesn't need to be a leader and her storyline doesn't need to be political in any way. That's not what the tale is about."
"Someday My Prince Will Come isn't a modern feminist song, just like I'm Wishing isn't one. It's out of fashion for a heroine's dreams to revolve around romantic love. The emphasis on the Prince coming to Snow White also places her in a passive role, rather than letting her be active like a more modern heroine and search for him."
and
"Someday My Prince Will Come gets a bad rap. Snow White isn't fantasizing about a prince she's never met. She loves him already, and is singing of her undying hope that they'll meet again, even though it seems unlikely that they will. Nor does she center her whole life around her dreams of him. Apart from the song and her wish on the "wishing apple," she never even mentions him after their meeting: as much as she loves him, she doesn't waste time pining for him, but moves on with her life while holding onto her faith that they'll reunite. Nor can she go looking for him herself, because she's in hiding from the Queen, so of course she dreams that he'll come to her."
"Snow White is painfully naïve to trust the Witch, and to let her in the house and take food from her despite having been warned repeatedly to beware of strangers. This earns her no points as a role model. It's no wonder that modern adaptations tend to make her 'smarter,' and either (a) have the Queen take the shape of someone she already knows and trusts, or (b) have her know the apple is poisoned, but eat it as a self-sacrifice to save the dwarfs' lives or some such thing, or (c) rewrite the story's climax to cut the poisoning altogether."
and
"Snow White isn't stupid, she's just naïve because she's young, and the Witch takes advantage of her kindness and her love. Despite knowing better, she can't bear to refuse a frail old woman's pleas to let her rest in the house. Then when she's told that the apple grants wishes and will bring the Prince to her, when she's been dreaming of him so ardently and still has no way of knowing if they'll meet again, she can't resist. It's a fatal mistake, but aren't heroines allowed to make mistakes? Must she be a role model in every moment? Why can't it be poignant that the Witch takes advantage of her youthful innocence and tender heart to mislead her?"
"The trope of the male hero saving the heroine was overused and outdated long ago. It makes sense for a modern retelling of Snow White to find some way or other for Snow White to save herself."
and
"The Prince waking Snow White isn't a particularly glaring case of 'boy rescues girl.' It's just a matter of love conquering evil. The Prince doesn't do any 'manly' act of heroism; all he does is give Snow White a kiss that he doesn't even know will revive her."
"The Prince kissing the seemingly-dead Snow White's lips has earned so much controversy over the years that it should be no surprise when modern retellings avoid it."
and
"The Prince's kiss isn't 'necrophilia' or 'non-consensual.' He's just giving his 'dead' beloved a sad, affectionate farewell. In later movies, is Belle being 'necrophiliac' or 'non-consensual' when she lays her head on the Beast's lifeless chest while declaring her love, or is Elsa when she hugs Anna's ice statue form in grief? This is no different."
"The Queen can be seen as a misogynistic figure, first of all by vilifying a woman in power, secondly because petty vanity is her motive, and any possible sympathetic explanation for why she's so desperate to be the fairest in the land (e.g. because society ties women's worth too much to their beauty) is ignored. It's understandable that a modern retelling should try to make her a more nuanced figure."
and
"The Queen is still one of Disney's most terrifying villains, despite being the first. She doesn't need more 'depth' or 'nuance' to be an outstanding character."
"Snow White is a passive character in both the original Grimms' tale and the Disney film. She's defined more by what happens to her and how other people feel about her than by anything she does. So of course modern retellings will tend to find ways to make her a more active player and give her more agency."
and
"A character doesn't need to be 'active' or have constant 'agency' to be a good character. We push for heroines to have 'agency' because women have too often been forced to be passive and rely on men, but for an individual character, in and of herself, 'active' doesn't need to be the rule. In the Grimms' tale, Snow White is passive because she's more of a symbol of youth and beauty than a real person: the real (villain) protagonist is the Queen. And in the Disney film, where Snow White is more of a person and more clearly the protagonist, what she does is be warm, friendly, and full of life and joy. In this way she earns others' love, and love saves her life. For some of us, this is wish-fulfillment and central to the story's appeal. Snow White is threatened with the Queen's terrible hatred, but just by being herself she earns a bounty of love, and love proves stronger than hate."

ALADDIN STARTERS
a collection of quotes, phrases, and sayings from the 1992 Disney film Aladdin. change & alter as needed.
“I had to slit a few throats, but I got it.”
“Jeez, where’d you dig this bozo up?”
“You think that was easy?”
“Getting in trouble a little early today, aren’t we, [name]?”
“You’re only in trouble if you get caught!”
“If I were as rich as you, I could afford some manners.”
“Someday, [name], things are gonna change.”
“Do you trust me?”
“You’ve heard of the golden rule, haven’t you? Whoever has the gold makes the rules.”
“I love the way your foul little mind works.”
“[Name], wake up and smell the hummus.”
“But you’re so old!”
“Oh, button up, [name]. Learn to have a little fun!”
“I am not a prize to be won!”
“All joking aside, you really ought to be yourself.”
“Go jump off a balcony!”
“You don’t want to go for a ride, do you?”
“Why did you lie to me? Did you think I was stupid? That I wouldn’t figure it out?”
“For the first time in my life, things are starting to go right.”
“I’m getting kind of fond of you, kid.”
“We’re dead! Just dig a grave for both of us! We’re dead!”
“The only reason anyone thinks I’m worth anything is because of you!”
“You’ve lied to everyone else. I was beginning to feel left out.”
“Now, where were we? Ah, yes — abject humiliation.”
“I’m sorry, [name]. I made a mess of everything.”
“It pains me to see you reduced to this, [name].”
“I’ll teach you some respect!”
“How many times do I have to kill you, boy?”
“Face it, [name]. You’re still just second-best.”
“I’ve got to stop pretending to be something I’m not.”
“Well, I can’t do any more damage around this popsicle stand.”

Fallen Star
While I used to be a fan of Star Vs. The Forces of Evil in the past,I have grown to accept it as a mixed bag and probably consider it to be the most hit-or-miss,polarizing show on Disney Channel,I do agree not only the show went downhill around Battle of Mewni, but it’s been 5 years ago since the show’s ending not only left a bad taste in our mouths and left plotholes, mysteries and character arcs unsolved and unexplained, but it gave us the absolute worst ending to any Disney cartoon show ever since the whole thing was rushed and ended up a complete mess, and this was series creator,Daron Nefcy’s idea from the start that ended up becoming a mistake afterwards.
Not only the finale ended the series on a horrid note, but it and the final season managed to shatter its reputation and destroyed everything that was built up in the first 3 seasons, along with the focus more on romance drama and ships(something Owl House corrected and made the story better with it with the Lumity arc),the characters becoming flanderized into becoming more stupid and selfish(with Star and Marco receiving the worst of it). I know I don’t hate Daron Nefcy and has moved on despite her mistake, but she should’ve learned to do the show better if it wasn’t for putting her own life in it and making it her self-insert world. and even if people hate Star for what she did in the finale by committing magical genocide. She didn’t kill magical creatures, she just erased them from existence when she destroyed the magic(and Pony Head still being there due to being the Creator’s Pet)and even Star is a flawed and troublesome, but hero with a heart of gold protagonist,I wished the crew behind the show would’ve handled her character better with proper buildup and growth instead of making it happen fast through rushed writing and Star yet still needs to learn if she went back to Earth instead of Mewni after Battle of Mewni(that would’ve humbled her a lot more than the first two seasons if Star took that route instead of going back to Mewni in Seasons 3-4).
Also,I wouldn’t compare Star to Emperor Belos from Owl House since this whole destruction of magic thing was started as a prophecy by Toffee and I wished the show would’ve explored why Toffee wanted magic dead and thinks it’s bad and Star only followed his prophecy because she had no choice(if she had a choice, she would’ve find another way to stop Mina and her solarian warriors and never gave up her faith in magic if the writers didn’t pull a 360 on her mother,Moon’s character with a stupid plot twist).
Even it’s been 5 years since SvtFoE ended on a abysmal and disappointing note and since Disney has given Justice to DuckTales and Proud Family with reboots and is releasing a 40-episode revival of Phineas and Ferb later this year,I just hope Star Vs. would be next in line someday for a revival, reboot, graphic novel, or a movie if creator Daron Nefcy reunited with Disney in the future and undo the mistakes of the ending(maybe for the show’s 10th anniversary next year). But all we ever have to do is to just be patient and wait for now.
So,it’s been 5 years ago since Star’s infamous ending,I decided to draw a pic of Star Butterfly, now depressed and drinking a lot of lemonade at a bar as a way to drown her sorrows as Phineas looks at her worried and Star mentions if Disney would give her a chance again and go back and undo the mistake of destroying magic in the past.

thoughts on Barbie (2022)
If you're at all interested in this movie and its discourse, Broey Deschanel's video and Verily Bitchie's are worth your time. They explain how the film is propaganda to sell toys (of course) but its main purpose is to revitalize Mattel's brand and begin a new "marvel cinematic universe" with their IPs. Bringing beloved indie directors in as a promise they'll sneak authenticity through the corporate machine is part of that marketing tactic. Apparently, it's worked for Barbie despite many of the people who celebrate it feeling fatigue with Disney-Marvel for over-saturating the cinema landscape using the exact same tactics. Maybe because this time it's with the toys of their childhood instead of star wars and comic books it feels subversive, brave, and refreshing, but Barbie's vision of Girl Power is not even meekly rebellious and certainly not feminist.
There is a purposeful void where the feminism should be. It is the strawman that anti-feminists imagine: not a movement of liberation and equality, only a cry of "I want to be the one doing the oppressing!".
I understand how a Wakanda-like vision of a world without misogyny is a delightful fantasy to live in, and the few lines explicitly calling out impossible, often contradictory double standards held over women may be a wake up call for those who have not engaged with this conversation before. For baby's first feminism, simply recognizing what misogyny is and how it wears down and degrades women can be a powerful experience. However, there is no discussion of how and why patriarchy causes and enforces misogyny or how to dismantle it.
The movie acknowledges the male characters, especially Ken, as emotional beings with understandable pain, and gives him more attention than the troubled mother-daughter relationship that seems like it should be the core of a film for and about women. His existential crisis is a parallel to Barbie's, and so for a satisfying conclusion, it's important they both get the answer to their question: "Who am I? What do I need to be to deserve love?".
"You're not an accessory, you should just do your own thing without a woman" is a fine answer for Ken, but is an incomplete offering for men under patriarchy. For all the runtime this movie sinks into men, it seems to go out of its way to avoid ever acknowledging how patriarchy harms them, too. Bell Hooks said, "The first act of violence that patriarchy demands of males is not violence toward women. Instead, patriarchy demands of all males that they engage in acts of psychic self-mutilation, that they kill off the emotional parts of themselves." Will Ferrell's declaration that he wants to be tickled is the closest thing to acknowledging how patriarchy robs men of full access to their own lives but unless you already know feminist theory, it's just a throwaway joke on what a goofy little guy he is.
From birth, patriarchy teaches men the answer to the question of how to be worthy of love is a lifelong gauntlet of contests. Who collects the most valuable things (women being objectified and included in this tally), who can endure the most isolation and pain, who can conquer and stand alone at the top. Stepping on women is normalized as an easy way to raise ranks in these contests before even competing with other men. Treating women as equals is punished because it's not participating 'correctly' if he doesn't seek power over women and other men (I kept waiting for Allan to be some kind of comment on this, but nope!).
The word Patriarchy is littered throughout the script and used as a magic spell to transform Barbieland overnight without any further exposition. Men are framed as the adversary, but the happy ending is not to free everyone from patriarchy. Systemic injustice is not challenged, men and women do not unite as equals. Barbieland returns to Matriarchy and the narrator chuckles about how someday, perhaps, the Kens will only face the same level of oppression human women do on earth.
I saw more memes about Ken than any other character, and although there's validity to claims that he's most popular because men always get more positive attention than women, it's also definitely a consequence of the film's choices. He gets the most fully formed and sympathetic arc, a music number, and most marketable quips and visual gags. Getting through heartbreak and learning "I am Kenough" is a lot easier to relate to and make fun memes of than a flawless, immortal being meeting her creators and choosing to develop cellulite and die.
The reception of this movie has been enormous and enthusiastic, surely in part because its marketing budget cost as much as the movie itself. I was curious whether criticism and lack of accolade was really just misogyny at work as much of the internet believes. The conclusion I've come to is that Mattel strategically planned Barbie to be championed by women and rely on real misogyny ("pink movie for girls bad, cannot be good movie") to blot out any and all criticism of its weak writing and insincere, toothless social commentary. This happened with Ghostbusters 2016; the wailing and fury of nostalgic misogynists was so loud, it made denouncing them feel like an important fight to take up rather than just free advertising and clout for a mediocre, cynical corporate product.
I totally understand the ~fun~ parts of this movie and I'd enjoy watching some of the spectacle again. It's just frustrating to see Mattel catching earnest people hook, line, and sinker in the year 2023 even after a decade of seeing others strung along behind the same boat. They've successfully packaged the movie as important through implied (but critically absent) connection to feminism when all that's inside is, for better or worse, just a colorful plastic toy (20$).

Hand-wavey Castle in the Sky AU where Yoichi (Sheeta) is running from his megalomaniac brother who wants to find Laputa to rule the world (no surprise there), Third (Pazu) is determined to help the cute boy who fell from the sky & prove Laputa is real and Second (sky pirate) realizes the true treasure is the two scrappy guys he picked up along the way.
Yay Studio Ghibli AUs are always such fun!
1. Yoichi and AFO are two orphans, perhaps the last survivors descended from the Laputan royal line. Both of them grew up dreaming of finding the flying island of Laputa someday. But while Yoichi dreams of adventure, AFO wants to use the weapons system on Laputa to take over the world. AFO believes he's a rightful king and deserves to rule. He joins the military to obtain more power. After realizing his brother's intentions, Yoichi steals the crystal necklace that is the key to controlling Laputa and runs away. While fleeing AFO, Yoichi jumps off an airship. He passes out, but then the crystal activates and floats him down safely.
2. Third is an orphan working in a coal mine. His father used to tell him stories about the floating island, but the other kids mock his belief in legends. One day Third sees a pretty white-haired boy floating down from the sky and catches him.
3. After Yoichi tells him that Laputa is real, Third vows to help him find the city. AFO's soldiers track them down, but then get attacked by airship pirates led by Second. In the chaos, Yoichi loses his crystal.
4. Yoichi and Third stow away on the pirate ship to escape. Second finds them. Both boys are shocked to see the leader of the pirate gang is a boy their own age. At first Second seems hostile toward Yoichi as AFO's brother. Third stands up to protect Yoichi. After hearing about how Yoichi's brother imprisoned him, Second softens. After all, the pirates value freedom above all else and they have a soft spot for miners. Second's father once led a miners' strike, but AFO came and branded them all as criminals, forcing them to become pirates. The original leader of the gang, Second's father, was killed by AFO. Now Second is chasing after AFO for revenge and to end his tyranny.
5. AFO finds the crystal and uses it to navigate to Laputa. Yoichi is also able to remember the directions and guide the pirates to Laputa. Once on the island, AFO betrays the army and activates a weapons system to destroy them. Then he heads to the bottom of the castle, the epicenter of Laputa's ancient knowledge and weapons.
6. Horrified seeing the destruction Laputa has already unleashed on the army, Yoichi sees no choice but to destroy the island. Yoichi, Second, and Third sneak in and activate a self-destruct button. Then they fly away on a glider. AFO falls to a Disney death. Although most of the island collapses, the castle flies away to the stars.
7. Second actually tells Yoichi and Third that they are the real treasure he found along the way. It's sappy and they both still love it.
(All of these asks are free to use in my Three Weeks of Trioholders event.)

Heir to the Empire: Chapter 3
"The door slid open, and with her usual catlike grace Mara Jade walked into the room. 'You didn't say what' -- her green eyes flicked to the elaborately set table -- 'this was all about,' she finished, her tone just noticeably different. The green eyes came back to him, cool and measuring."
THE QUEEN HAS ARRIVED!!!
Tumblr media
"The vornskr peered out from around the edge of the desk, its front paws gripping the carpet, its muzzle close to the floor as if on the hunt."
The concept of predators that evolved to hunt Force-users is in and of itself cool, but I just find the vornskrs' design in official art very appealing.
Tumblr media
Also, I love that vornskrs are basically giant, Jedi-hunting space kitties.
"'Then there's your talent for starship piloting, your ability to give and accept orders' -- he smiled slightly, gesturing to the table -- "and your ability to adapt to to unusual and unexpected situations. All highly useful talents for a smuggler."
Or a covert operative.
"Karrde shrugged. 'My people hear stories and rumors; I take the pieces and put them together. Much the same way your own intelligence units operate, I imagine."
I hope Karrde becomes canon again. An information broker with a code of honor, something that doesn't occur often in Star Wars (see: Cid), and someone it pays to have on your side. Ahsoka Season Two provides the perfect opportunity to reintroduce him and Mara, and I really want Disney to take it.
"'You can't just pull them off their branches, not without killing them. An ysalamir in this stage is sessile -- its claws have elongated to the point where they've essentially grown directly into the core of the branch it inhabits.'"
I didn't remember the singular of ysalamiri from the first time I read this book. It's fun!
While not the wildest example of speculative biology I've seen, the ysalamiri's claws basically combining with the branch it lives on has always stuck with me. Maybe it's the fact that this was one of the science fiction books I deliberately sought out, maybe it's my love of Star Wars before any other sci-fi franchise, but I remembered this detail when I was neck-deep in other fandoms and hadn't interacted with any SW media in years.
"'Vader died on the Death Star,' Mara said. 'Along with the Emperor.'
'That's the story, certainly--'
'He died there," Mara cut him off, her voice suddenly sharp."
True for Vaderkin, in Legends and in Disney, but not true for Palpatine, also in Legends and in Disney.
"Someday, he promised himself silently, he was going to find a way to dig the details of her past out from under the cloak of secrecy she'd so carefully shrouded it with. To find out where she'd come from, and who and what she was.
And to learn exactly what it was Luke Skywalker had done to make her so desperately hate him."
This curiosity is probably what makes Karrde such a good information broker. He wants to know things.
Everyone's pointed out the irony of Mara's introductory chapter ending with a line about her hating Luke when we all know that they ended up together.

Very happy to know:D
Also seriously yeah the pet peeves w candessa are real. I wouldn't even mind if it wasn't so fucking bad fanon wise they would not work out monagomously. Like at all. With polyamory prolly bc jeremy n Stacyd be there to help Vanessa get used to Candace's weirdness and make sure Candace didn't fall to pieces at first over someone not as patient as them but like. Thats besides the point bc 90% of the time it rly is just "here look haha I think candace is a repressed lesbian but I'm not willing to take into account either canon dynamics, the potential of complexity in sexuality/gender(especially for a show like pnf that manages to be so genuine about identity stuff that what is essentially still disney channel man in dress jokes comes off as the most relatable trans coding ever) , or the entire ass relationship she has with her best friend bc her best friend isn't white or convenientally attractive" And it will kill me someday
My apologies I am very passionate about this subject but as far as i can tell you are too so I think I'm fine. My b if not
i agree 1000000% canderemy was my longest-lasting Comfort Ship and was the basis for everything else i like so i am protective of them anyway but sometimes i just dont think people read things correctly. im always right

No one asked, but here are some headcannons for the one and only,
~Jessica Rabbit~
Tumblr media
(Why isn't this GIF used more often? No joke, she looks amazing here (then again she looks amazing in the whole movie))
I've seen people headcannon Jessica is asexual, and that's definitely awesome to see! However, I personally think she's demisexual. In one of the canon Roger Rabbit shorts, specifically 'Tummy Trouble', at the end we see Jessica actually instigate/suggest pattycake to Roger. And it wasn't in the cartoon she was starring in with him, it was after they were off set. So it does look like she does enjoy that sort of thing, but only with her husband. Again, I'm not ragging on anyone who sees her as ace, this is just my personal opinion.
I saw a post on here saying that Jessica's maiden name might be Krupnik, and that implies she's Jewish. And honestly, regardless if that's canon, I like it. I'll have to look into it more. Not necessarily a personal headcannon I guess, but I'll still add it.
Jessica wants to be a baker someday. Yes her main job is a singer and actress, but her real dream is to own a bakery. So far she's just baked for Roger and their neighbors, but she's getting there. And it's not just baked goods, she's a master with the frying pan. Cooking dinner together is one of hers and Roger's favorite at home dates (Disney, where's the Jessica Rabbit restaurant?)
This one i highly doubt is canon and I imagine would be difficult to figure out how it would work for toons, but I'll still share. Her hair kind of looked like it was ready to fly off when she and Eddie were driving out of Toontown, and that led me to this headcannon: Jessica has alopecia. She usually just sticks with red hair, but she'll wear different wigs based on what character she'll play in a cartoon (maybe it was Jessica playing as Hello Nurse from animaniacs?). And you all know Roger supports and adores her anyway and helps take care of her wigs. (I do know that some people just have wide foreheads or hairline, and I can see that with Jessica too! I just like imagining Roger reassuring Jessica she's beautiful no matter what).
I'm nor sure why, I have no reason to think this, but I like the idea that she and Smartass used to be friends before the events of the movie. Who knows, maybe he gave her relationship advice from his last marriage. I'm not sure what would have happened between them, (aside from you know, framing her husband for murder and trying to get him killed), but I do crack-headcannon that he wasn't her best man (man of honor?) at the wedding, and that's what made them enemies.
I think that Jessica genuinely likes to be beautiful. She doesn't like the attention and judgment that comes with it of course, but frankly that says more about the people around her than her herself. She likes putting on her makeup in the morning, she likes wearing her dresses, she likes styling herself. And not just her own cosmetics, I can imagine she likes picking out new furniture for the house (not all the time, just when it's needed), and she loves helping Roger put together his outfit for the day. There's nothing wrong with styling oneself, and Jessica can preach to the choir on that one.
Speaking of the choir, Jessica volunteers at singing classes to help others with their own voices. She's a very sweet teacher and will offer tips on how to stretch your voice or sing those high notes without strainging yourself too much (What if this is how she and Roger met? He went to a class she was helping out in, and they hit it off?).
This was seen somewhat in the squeal comic Resurrection of Doom. I think Jessica has a soft spot for horror films. Specifically the classic horror films like Frankenstein or Dracula. She's not a die hard horror fan, but she does enjoy them from time to time. She knows Roger doesn't like them though, so she won't force him to watch them with her. But of course, he loves her just as much as she loves him, so he'll still watch them with her, as long as she holds him during the scary scenes.
This is kind of a darker headcannon; just mentions of drugging, but proceed with caution. In the club, or when she's out, she'll keep an eye out for any suspiciously fizzy or cloudy drinks. She has lost count of how many times she's caught someone trying to roofie somebody else, and she'll teach others how to look out for bad drinks. She mentions in the deleted scene that someone tried to break in her dressing room once, so who knows how many times someone tried to drug her as well? Needless to say, she doesn't play around with that shit (if I could draw, I would definitely draw her punching a roofie user in the face)
Any questions anyone has, I'm more than happy to answer! ^^

My third edit of my bbyyyssss…. 🤍🤍🤍
✨Alice and Tarrant✨
(I think this might be my last one for now, idk cause of my storage, and the amount of effort it takes to post on tumblr)
(I may have found this song, all of the songs I did, this one just goes perfect with them)
“Thinking about the nights with you”
“Deeper in my mind, I know I miss our time,”
These 3 lines, Alice must be thinking about him, the nights and days she spent with him, I feel like she is saying “I’m thinking about you Tarrant, how I want you, how I want to come back to you, I only see you in my dreams, but I want to feel you, many foolish men propose to me but you’re not them, you’re the man who went through everything with me, I’m so sorry I left you Tarrant, I love you, i just want to come back to you, my mind gets curious, if you already over me, if you have found someone, my heart aches for you, I don’t know if you are mine still, all I can think about is you Tarrant, I miss the time we spent together, I want more time to be with you, to be just in your arms again, I promise myself I will find a way back to you”
“You’re not mine”
This line always hits me, believe me guys yesterday when I was listening to the song, I just started crying because of how it reminded of Alice and Tarrant
Disney we need that third movie of them now, my heart is breaking without them not being together and not getting married! 🫀
“Why is it so hard to try and fix what’s broken, cause I need you by my side, but I know that you don’t mind, you’re not mine”
I feel like Tarrant is saying “I need you Alice by my side, even though it’s been 6 years I’m dying without you Alice, but I know you’re out there upland , I’m wondering here running like mad, my mind saying you have already found someone out there, and here I am, my heart is worried and aching for you, but I know you can’t be mine, I don’t know if you have found someone, Alice please come back to me and be mine forever”
“Cause I know that you’re not mine”
“Staring at our wall, waiting for your call, I think that you’re over me”
I feel like Tarrant is like waiting for Alice to come back, but he thinks she’s over him, is she? She must be thinking about him too, thinking he must be over her, but I know Tarrant must be waiting for Alice, to come and stay with him 😩
“Deeper in my mind, I know I miss our time, do you think about us like I do, do, do?”
I feel like, Tarrant is saying this “do you think about me, Alice, the memories about us we shared, the days, the nights we spent with each other, how we fought for each other”
I also feel like Alice is saying this “ do you think about me Tarrant, I do know I miss our time together, in my mind, I can see all the memories we shared, the goodbyes, we said, I think about you all the time Tarrant, my heart wants you Tarrant”
“Give us one more chance, to live our dream, dream, dream”
Omg, I feel like Tarrant is saying this “Alice, my Alice come back to me, even though we can’t see each other, just find a way to come back to me, give us one more chance, to fulfill our hearts dreams, I just want you here Alice, why is that so hard to ask for? Please Alice, you don’t know how miserable I am without you, it’s killing me Alice”
I always miss them, so heartbreaking that they didn’t get their happily ever after
but hope is never lost, someday, I wish hopefully soon, we will get that third movie of them, getting their happily ever after 💕
After all, hatter says “who’s to say, which is which?”
