just heard someone say "if someone tells me they love me and they see value in me, i don't have to understand where they're coming from, it's enough for them to perceive me that way." feeling emotional in this chili's rn.
#olive rambles#most of the time it's mental gymnastics for me to rationalize people just liking me - not even love - outside of my usefulness or my output#and i've tried the framing of 'that's an awful way to think about the people you love - that they can't love others beyond usefulness' but#lovingly that framework does not work for me. i can rationalize and walk my way out of that arguement so easily because sometimes? my self#worth is TRASH.#but this one??? this framework??? might just work for me. because there's a distinct lack of rationality and logic to it.#it's just enough to not understand it. for it to just be enough despite the unknowing.#oops this got deep; that's not very silly mysterious suave of me - deepest apologies#just needed a space to formulate the idea a little bit more.#it's enough to not understand it and even if i do never learn why there's beauty and worth in the intangible and strange <3

Intel Develops Largest Neuromorphic System for Eco-Friendly AI Advancements
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/intel-develops-largest-neuromorphic-system-for-eco-friendly-ai-advancements/
Intel Develops Largest Neuromorphic System for Eco-Friendly AI Advancements
Intel has recently announced the creation of Hala Point, the world’s largest neuromorphic system, marking a significant step towards more sustainable and efficient artificial intelligence. Deployed initially at Sandia National Laboratories, Hala Point uses Intel’s advanced Loihi 2 processor and builds on the success of its predecessor, Pohoiki Springs, by offering substantial improvements in architecture. This enhancement boosts neuron capacity by more than tenfold and performance by up to twelve times.
“The computing cost of today’s AI models is rising at unsustainable rates. The industry needs fundamentally new approaches capable of scaling. For that reason, we developed Hala Point, which combines deep learning efficiency with novel brain-inspired learning and optimization capabilities. We hope that research with Hala Point will advance the efficiency and adaptability of large-scale AI technology,” said Mike Davies, director of the Neuromorphic Computing Lab at Intel Labs.
Hala Point distinguishes itself by being the first large-scale neuromorphic system capable of demonstrating state-of-the-art computational efficiencies on mainstream AI workloads. It can support up to 20 quadrillion operations per second, or 20 petaops, and offers unprecedented efficiency exceeding 15 trillion 8-bit operations per second per watt (TOPS/W) when executing conventional deep neural networks.
Researchers at Sandia National Laboratories will use Hala Point for advanced brain-scale computing research, focusing on scientific computing problems across various domains such as device physics, computer architecture, and informatics. “Working with Hala Point improves our Sandia team’s capability to solve computational and scientific modeling problems. Conducting research with a system of this size will allow us to keep pace with AI’s evolution in fields ranging from commercial to defense to basic science,” stated Craig Vineyard, Hala Point team lead at Sandia National Laboratories.
While Hala Point remains a research prototype, Intel envisions its lessons will significantly enhance future commercial systems’ capabilities, notably enabling large language models to learn continuously from new data and reducing the training burden of AI deployments.
The drive for increasingly large deep learning models has exposed significant sustainability challenges within AI, necessitating innovation at the fundamental levels of hardware architecture. Neuromorphic computing, inspired by neuroscience, integrates memory and computing within a highly parallel framework to minimize data movement. This approach has demonstrated remarkable gains in efficiency, speed, and adaptability, as evidenced by Loihi 2’s performance at this month’s International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP).
Hala Point integrates 1,152 Loihi 2 processors and supports up to 1.15 billion neurons and 128 billion synapses, distributed over 140,544 neuromorphic processing cores, within a six-rack-unit data center chassis. Its massively parallelized fabric offers significant memory bandwidth and communication speeds, providing a robust foundation for bio-inspired spiking neural network models.
Intel’s ongoing development of neuromorphic systems like Hala Point aims to address power and latency constraints that currently limit the real-world deployment of AI. With the continued collaboration of the Intel Neuromorphic Research Community (INRC), Intel is committed to advancing this brain-inspired technology from research prototypes to commercial products.

something abt The Family Unit as this bordered site potentially of a little system of authoritarianism being that it's really this example plenty of people have of how like, You Would Think "oh if the people In Charge realize the structural integrity of what they're in charge of & say they're Supporting is being degraded then surely on a practical basis they'd change course? compromise?" & like the compromises Are continually made to shore things up a little longer but it's a pyramid scheme & it's continuously crumbling. & the Logic of the authority is what's held on to no matter what, not whatever else is claimed to be the goal (e.g. having a Good Family, workplace, corporation, country...) & that means having all the power, which is never actually the case or possible so since that goal's never met it's really just about having More power (what's next, constant profit growth), & everything's oriented around That, such that yeah strategic fleeting compromises may be made but as this structure inevitably deteriorates further, i.e. the control as successfully applied power is being lost, it's not about compromising more & more until eventually things are egalitarian, it's more about lashing out & doubling & tripling & quadrupling down on the exact same measures always taken anyways, because of how the entire like belief is in being the authority, expressed by forever only following the logics of authority/hierarchy & control/abuse
that is to lead into how like, the Failure of [ostensible alternate practical goal: the cohesion of the perfect family(tm)] can happen in more obvious ways / on shorter timeframes than, say, the agenda of propping up an empire, & so there's like all this evidence of how even when the theoretically inviolate borders of The Family are ruptured there's like "wouldn't the relevant family members change their approach in the face of this undeniable failure. wouldn't they question themselves." b/c like, surely? how could you not? but the experience being overwhelmingly "absolutely they do not" with instead the doubling down, perhaps the strategic compromises that are then only used to wear away the targeted parties & then (perhaps after an incremental transition) be back at it once that defense is seemingly breached, but the same logic seems to "work" even in situations where whatever Unit is destroyed, partnership, family, friendship, acquaintanceship, b/c the sense of [i am entitled to More] is just like. undisturbed or "supported" by the ruptures & lack of access to whomever, the Denial of what they feel they're already entitled to. the dehumanization of others / No Need to ever have to consider & contend with those ppl's real feelings if you control their life enough anyways is all still at play & there's no room for even Now considering if you were wrong about how someone felt, so the logic might also default to things like "it's a total mystery but what matters is i was / am wronged" &/or "well things would've been great if i had my total authority like i should have & imagine i could have, so basically some Other enemy authority must be at fault (e.g. guess my child was converted by the gay agenda, the devil, the evil outside world, communist spies, anarchists, [the pc police the virtue signalers the woke dei agents the "almost forgot abt 'critical race theorists'"]" that it just so happens that agendas of Autonomy & Equality are ones that seem to inherently insidiously threaten & undermine their own. like yeah you're not wrong about that but in also true [every accusation a projection] form of course the belief must be that They are fostering bliss & freedom & the jealous evil agents of The Other are always trying to stop them :(
like "don't they realize this is counterproductive to the wellbeing of [what they're in charge of]" like compromises may be temporarily made along the way but not Really, no, & when push comes to shove it'll be about the priorizing of asserting & holding on to Controlling Lives vs anything that'd serve anything else. & that again, with families like you might see the decided Failure of that, e.g. very limited or completely absent relationship with an adult child, and you see that like. the Authority guardian/s who are the reason with it don't change their approach. any adjustments are strategic & meant to Ultimately restore the status quo; the people who managed to extricate themselves have to rely on their own ability to actually manifest their own choices to, say, be able to remove themself from the presence of this person if they want. and that like even with that lifelong experience of dealing with that Authority & the system under them it can be so difficult to believe like do they really not even question themself on all this despite the actual external consequences manifested? b/c the Logics are so different. the child made effectively Responsible for the actions of an adult or two / the supposed Wellbeing of the family is so much more used to having to consider others' Feelings & what might make them act xyz way, b/c of that impossible but evident tasking with being harmed if there's any Problems there, versus that the person "in charge of" the wellbeing of the family & individuals therein (& certainly the young children) being concerned with their own entitlement & whether everything seems to reinforce their authority, flexing it if not, disinterest in so much else, resentment for the physical needs of children as a begrudged investment in then lifelong entitlement to kids as property to give deference / whatever support you want. & when these "supported" children are never "grateful" enough, i.e. not noticeably thwarting efforts to access whatever a parent feels entitled to (with, exactly in line with all of this, pretty invariably Issues With (denial of) Any Boundaries, e.g. not allowed to close that bedroom door this is my house, not allowed to not want to be touched i made that body, not allowed to be unsupervised what are you hiding, not allowed to say no, not allowed to have feelings/moods/preferences/opinions not in harmony with mine...) like it's supposedly only an extreme, all the more sympathetic (to the authority parent) escalation of this Ingratitude to, if possible, escape the realm of said authority. can't believe they'd do this to me
just that tl;dr of like "but at this point [authority] is sabotaging themselves i.e. the longevity of any system where they even have that position of authority? surely they realize that & change their approach b/c they Have To?" & beyond "no, not necessarily" like it's so almost Necessarily that "they definitely will not & will just try to 'invest' in their perpetual authority (which is always trying to be Increased b/c it's also never total or unbroken) by upping the violence & lashing out & ignoring w/e they have to ignore b/c they do Not have any actual alternate way to address it" like no the parents lose the entire relationship with children & don't have Realizations abt it, don't question themselves, don't make a real change, don't stop feeling as, & increasingly, entitled
#you'd think they would. but they do not think that they would. it's a completely different Logical Framework#the impenetrability of ''i'm Superior to anyone; objects/props/property/tools in My life for My agenda''#if there's negative consequences of this treatment & it's constantly shattering b/c That Is Not Reality? it's just them being Wronged#you can just believe that forever. if you're trying to reject even the Vulnerability of [gotta consider other ppl Have thoughts; feelings]#then taking on the Vulnerability of; for one thing; That; & an entire upheaval of the rest of what you've built your whole Self around.....#it does not really happen. presumably some outliers / sure it can be Possible but even then it's like#is the priority ''converting'' ppl doing this. Convincing them to stop. or in how those affected can throw them off & have more support#yes we all think that would be lovely. but it's a whole Ideology. & [what do i care if xyz Believes im nonhuman if they cannot in practice#act on that belief & make it my problem] the external situations & manifestations of power Can be dealt with by others. ppl's internal#self is their own personal business Ultimately ofc. can feel entitled to Everything Forever sure but gotta get Other Ppl outta that sitch#this has also been resonating with like head in hands deep breath the like. [it's On Sight; Sound; Read Text; Anything] dehumanization as#an autistic person like ppl Do immediately assess the [this person's existing wrong] diagnosis & do not necessarily ''learn'' otherwise#the vulnerability is pounced on / the ''opportunity'' for abuse in any situation b/c it's Deserved in this case ofc / the like ''we Do#officially label you Autistic & we Do prescribe; even require; abuse about it'' aba / rejection/ostracization / pathology / Inferiority#like what else can you do but go ''maybe ppl will change their minds? maybe i can act a way to convince them to do so?'' But No#ofc all Compounding vulnerabilities only feed into all other systems of dehumanization / vulnerability / abuse / disempowerment#my experience being autistic seemed to support my experience w/family abuse...B/c It 100% Did support it#other disabilities; less resources; more poverty; appearing nonwhite & ''worse'' black; cultural ''difference'' from the norm(tm)....#further layers (often given ''priorities'' like how Race is given 1st Consideration in who's ''beneath'' whom) in dehumanization#which is an ideology people have to Reject to; you know; humanize everyone they encounter. but they don't ''have'' to so: might not!#& obviously playing into it is what's encouraged And demanded so yeah go find the ppl in Your life to scapegoat / deem inferior! to cope!#while this is so entrenched/supported By Everything As Is that it's just ppl ''being normal'' instead of consciously disdainfully violent#so it's Something having to go ok no the double standards never cease the Sympathy (i.e. again taking unilateral Responsibility for other#ppl's feelings (& by extension hopefully their resultant actions)) will never even afford you Being Liked much less the Basic Respect#whether someone happens to personally find you Likable or not in the first place. have to ofc Hope others have other principles about it#which; you know; the logic of Ableism is in all the systems of dehumanization & exploitation. it's Just Biology / Reality....#everyone's so Great abt things now. def don't have ppl like ''haha the lack of social skills am i right autists'' / ''annoyingly nd ppl''#just saying the same shit in an XD arm slung around your shoulder tone now. dont want me saying Idiot this is why i love ableism#(it was bc everyone is already taught to love ableism & leverage it however they can) i wasn't a violent bigot: then the leftists pwned me#anyways consulting Exp. w/Authoritarian Family sure can be a touchstone recognizing resonances anywhere else. dynamics/interactions. govts

✩Your big 6 in Vedic Astrology ✩
This is based on the first 6 components I’d look at when I first read someone’s Vedic chart.
These are the most important parts of your Vedic chart, in my opinion.
*Disclaimer: This is in no particular order. Please only consider your Vedic chart based on this post*
#1 Ascendant
✧ Your ascendant sign represents the exact minute you take breath here in this present incarnation. This is why your exact birth time is so important.
✧ The zodiacal constellation that was “rising” on the eastern horizon the time of day you were born is the moment your soul decided to incarnate. Aka your “rising sign”. Each zodiacal constellation only rises for about 2hrs each.
✧ The Eastern direction energetically symbolizes new beginnings and connects to the beginning of a cycle. The Sun rises from the east.
✧ It’s like your soul choosing: “I want to experience this lifetime with xyz rising sign, so I can learn the lessons related to the karma of that sign”. It’s similar to your Atmakaraka (soul planet) in that sense. The Asc sign is your biggest teacher.
✧ The Ascendant sets the entire alignment of your chart.
✧ You tend to experience the main trope of the Nakshatra you have as your Ascendant in a literal way.
✧ Study the mythology behind the Deity of your Asc Nakshatra, the lore associated with it is key information in your souls journey.
#2 Moon
✫ Since moon is the most sensitive + pure planet, the sign/ Nakshatra you have as your moon depicts your innermost framework for how you express yourself, think, your mentality, how you experience emotion etc.
✫ In Vedic Astrology they consider your Moon sign as your primary sign. The way Western uses Sun signs is how the Vedic world sees Moon signs.
✫ The Nakshatra your Moon sign is in is of utmost importance.
Related: what your moon placement says about you
#3 Sun
✦ Sun is your consciousness. It’s the core of your being energetically. The sun sign/placement/ Nakshatra you have depicts the frequency you naturally resonate at.
✦ You don’t have to try to embody the traits of your sun, yet you express it naturally.
✦ It represents your identity in this incarnation.
Related: what your sun placement says about you
#4 Lagnesh
✲ Your Lagnesh is the house + sign placement of your 1st house ruler.
✲ What is the ruling planet of your Ascendant sign? What house is that planet sitting in your chart? This is your Lagnesh ➡️ it shows you where your life journey/ souls purpose will lead you in life.
✲ You can think of it as an extension of your Ascendant sign.
✲ In Vedic your Ascendant sign is called your “Lagna”. So “Lagnesh” is like translating to “that which is like your Lagna.”
Related: your chart ruler & your unique life path
#5 Ketu
❆ Without Ketu you wouldn’t exist. It’s the psychological foundation of your consciousness during this life time.
❆ It is similar to downloading certain programming into a robot. Your Ketu placement shows the “programming” you were born with. Over the course of several incarnations, this is what your soul has cultivated and accumulated through many lifetimes.
❆ That’s why Ketu’s placement shows what comes easy to us, or comes in mysterious ways you didn’t plan for. You already mastered it in a past life, now it comes with less effort in this life time. It’s ingrained in the fabric of your subconscious.
❆ It’s important to know the sign it’s in and what planet rules that sign. The ruling planet of your Ketu placement depicts the overall themes that are deep in your subconscious.
Related: your Ketu sign & your dreamscape
Ketu through the houses: where do you experience detachment & separation
#6 Atmakaraka
✵ This is the planet with the highest degree in your Vedic birth chart. It represents what your soul seeks to experience in this lifetime.
✵ We call this your “soul planet”
✵ With the placement/sign/nakshatra of your Atmakaraka it depicts what you are destined to experience life lessons related to themes based on that planet/placement/sign.
✵ People tend to embody their Atmakaraka strongly. For example: even if your primary placements (sun/moon/ascendant) don’t have a certain nakshatra, if your AK planet is in in that nakshatra, you can resonate with themes of that Nak.
✵ I’ve personally observed people embody the physical traits of whatever there AK planet is.
✵ Ex: even if you don’t have primary placements in Ashlesha, if you’re AK planet is in Ashlesha, you might physically look like other Ashlesha natives.
Related: your soul planet & your mission in this lifetime
Atmakaraka through the houses: how does your soul’s purpose manifest in this life time

Why do so many witches don’t believe in reality shifting? I’ve met so many witches that don’t believe in that rather than believe. Do u have any idea why that is?
Why Many Witches Don’t Believe in Reality Shifting: A Tea-Spilling Breakdown ✨🌙💅
Short Answer: It scares and invalidates their practice. Long Answer? Sit tight, babe; we’re spilling all the cosmic tea. 🫖🌌
1. Fear of the Unknown 😨💀✨
Okay, babes, let’s spill this witchy tea with some extra sass and sparkle, shall we? ✨💅 For many witches, the notion of reality shifting is like trying to hold a séance on a roller coaster that’s zooming through a neon galaxy—it’s just too out there. Witches usually thrive within cozy, well-defined spiritual frameworks, you know? They’ve got their candle magic, their herb correspondences, their lunar calendars, their intricate spellwork, and their carefully crafted altars. It’s all about stability, tradition, and working WITH the energies that already exist in THIS reality. 🌱🌕🔮
But shifting? Shifting is like slapping on a pair of cosmic stilettos, snapping your acrylics 💅, and literally hopping from one universe to another as if you’re scrolling through Netflix. Instead of respectfully nudging the energies within your familiar plane, shifting says: “Hun, why are we even here? Let’s just poof somewhere else entirely!” It’s a dazzling, quantum-level plot twist that screams “we’re not in Kansas anymore, witch.” 🌀✨ And let’s be real: that’s downright destabilizing for folks who’ve spent years cultivating control and consistency. Imagine telling a master chef, who’s perfected soufflés after decades of practice, that you just got a five-star meal delivered by wiggling your nose like a 1960s sitcom witch. 🤷♀️💫 Honey, they’d be shook. Completely. Utterly. Shook.
Witches who’ve spent countless moons learning the subtle interplay of rosemary and rose quartz, the sacred timing of solstices and equinoxes, the whispers of elemental spirits, are like, “Hold up—did you just say you can bypass all that complex cosmic choreography with a few affirmations and sheer willpower?!” It’s not just a new practice; it’s a fundamental overthrow of the entire magical ecosystem they’ve come to trust. Shifting doesn’t need incense blends, special tools, or elaborate ritual spaces. It’s pure mental muscle, babe. 🧠✨ No wands required, no covens needed—just your fierce intention and a heaping tablespoon of belief. And that’s scary as hell for witches who rely on structure. It’s like trading a well-tuned orchestra for a wild freestyle jazz improvisation… in zero gravity. 🎶🌌
Then we have the deep terror of surrender. While witches often ground themselves before ritual (casting protective circles, calling corners, lighting the perfect blend of candles), shifting is like stripping naked and cannonballing into the astral ocean with no lifeline. 🌊🌌✨ You’re not just grounding, honey; you’re launching yourself into unknown realities, letting go of all your safety nets, and trusting that your consciousness will find the right landing pad. Terrifying? Understatement of the century, babe. 😱✨
And let’s not forget the existential crisis this all triggers. Most witches believe reality is malleable but still kinda anchored in certain universal laws—like gravity or energetic correspondences that you can count on. Shifting says: “Awww, that’s cute. But guess what? There are infinite realities, all flaunting their own custom rules, cosmic quirks, and narrative vibes.” If shifting’s legit, then the reality witches have spent their lives understanding is just one measly channel in an infinite Netflix lineup. That’s a lot to swallow, even for someone who’s danced naked under the full moon (no judgment, babe, get it!). 🌕🩰🔥
At the core, the fear is this: shifting is too big, too wild, too damn unregulated. It challenges their entire spiritual foundation. Witches may pride themselves on open-mindedness, but when something asks them to ditch their known magical map for a cosmic GPS with infinite routes, it’s a big ask, darling. It’s shaking the bedrock of their beliefs, and who wouldn’t be spooked by that? 😨✨🔥
2. ShiftTok Ruined the Reputation of Shifting 💀📉🔥
Ah, ShiftTok. The wild, messy, dramatic cousin who shows up to the family reunion and makes everyone regret getting together. TikTok put shifting on the map, sure—but like, at what cost, sis? 😬 The platform’s infamous algorithm craves chaos, extremes, and hot takes. Meaningful spiritual discussions? Zzzzzz. Too boring. Instead, we got “I shifted to Hogwarts and married Draco Malfoy! 💚🐍✨” going viral at warp speed. Suddenly, shifting looked less like a metaphysical exploration and more like a teenage fanfic come to life. 📱💫💁♀️
For witches who’ve fought tooth and nail to be taken seriously in a world that still stereotypes them as “crazy old crones,” this was the ultimate cringe-fest. Just when they’d carved out a respectable niche, along comes ShiftTok flooding the timeline with questionable claims and zero nuance. It felt like a clown parade marching right through their sacred forest. 🤡🌳🔥 So, naturally, they distanced themselves, saying, “Not today, Satan—we are not about to be lumped in with that nonsense.” Witches need credibility, hun, and ShiftTok’s circus vibes threatened to snatch that credibility away faster than you can say “Wingardium Leviosa.” 🙅♀️💃✨
But here’s the twist: it’s not just about preserving a good reputation. The tidal wave of misinformation and dramatics turned shifting into a caricature, overshadowing its true spiritual potential. Instead of seeing shifting as exploring consciousness and tapping into infinite universes, the public saw it as “teen fantasies about dating fictional characters.” And that put off not just witches, but a lot of serious spiritual folk. They were like, “If this is what shifting is about, I’ll pass.” ✋🛑🔮
This divide has caused legit damage. Spiritual communities often embrace new metaphysical frontiers, but because ShiftTok presented shifting as some kind of Hogwarts LARP, witches and other spiritual veterans turned their backs. Shifters got left out in the cold, isolated from the spiritual communities that might have supported and enriched their practice. It’s a master class in how viral trends can twist and taint a legitimate spiritual concept. 🤦♀️📉🔥
3. Gatekeeping Spirituality 🚪🔑✨
Oh, honey, let’s talk about gatekeeping—the spiritual community’s dirty little secret. Witches (and other spiritual folk) love to brand themselves as enlightened, open, and loving. But as soon as something doesn’t fit into their curated definition of “real magic,” the rolling eyes and side-eyes come out to play. 👀💅✨
Shifting is a prime target for this gatekeeping. Since it doesn’t rely on the traditional toolkit—no fancy robes, no wands, no herbs, no hours-long rituals—some witches scoff. They brush it off as “just lucid dreaming” or “weird daydreaming on steroids.” Um, excuse you? 😒✨ That’s like telling a quantum physicist that particle entanglement is just “fancy air.” Dismissing shifting so casually is hella disrespectful, especially since shifters are delving deep into consciousness, exploring the MULTIVERSE (yes, multiple freakin’ realities, babe), and challenging the very nature of what we call “real.” 🌌🔮💥
Why the dismissals? Fear, darling. Pure, unfiltered fear. If shifting is real, it’s a spiritual free pass—no gatekeepers, no hierarchies, no “I’ve studied for 30 years, so I’m more legit than you.” Shifters waltz in and say, “Watch me hop timelines with just my mind,” and that makes the old-school spiritual crowd itch. They’ve invested years—decades even—in elaborate systems, coven politics, and sacred traditions. Shifting basically says, “You can press skip,” and that’s too much for some egos to handle. 😤✨🌙
But the saddest part of gatekeeping? It slams the door on real discussion and growth. Instead of having meaningful dialogues—like, “Wow, how can we integrate shifting with existing practices?” or “What can we learn from these new cosmic explorers?”—it’s all snark and dismissal. That’s a huge loss for the entire spiritual community, cutting them off from potential evolution and fresh perspectives. 🚪🔑💔
4. Jealousy and Insecurity 😤🪞✨
Let’s call it what it is, babe: jealousy’s in the mix. Witches who’ve spent half their lives perfecting their craft might feel a little pressed when they see shifters casually strolling into alternate dimensions like they’re popping into Starbucks. ☕💅 “I’ve been working with these herbs and crystals for YEARS,” thinks the witch, “and you just manifest a new reality by focusing really hard? Talk about a cosmic shortcut!” 🌿🔮💫
This can feel like a slap in the face. The witch might’ve spent hours prepping a prosperity spell—herbs, candles, moon cycles aligned, calling on spirits—and the shifter’s over there like, “BRB, shifting to a reality where I’m already a millionaire.” Ka-ching. 💸✨ Of course, not all shifters do it for material gain, but the sheer potential can spark envy. It’s like seeing someone win the lottery right after you worked overtime for years. It stings. 🏆🔮🙃
Insecurity often breeds dismissal. Instead of owning those feelings—admitting that maybe they’re a tad envious—some witches double down on skepticism. They label shifting as “fake” or “dangerous” to maintain their own sense of superiority. It’s easier to tear down what you don’t understand than to face the cosmic FOMO. 😏🪞✨
But here’s the tea: shifting isn’t undermining witchcraft; it’s just another path. There’s room for everyone at the metaphysical buffet. Witches can keep rocking their spells and potions, and shifters can dance through dimensions. Both practices have their place and beauty. Let’s stop pretending like the multiverse is a zero-sum game, hun. The cosmos is infinite; there’s enough magic for all of us to eat well. 🍰🌟🔮
5. Generational Divide 👵👩🎤✨
And now, let’s talk about the age gap in spirituality. Older witches might see shifting as flighty, trivial, or too pop-culture-infused. “Hogwarts DRs? Really?” they scoff, clutching their besoms. “We invoke ancient gods and speak with ancestors, not fictional wizards!” 😤🦉✨
But let’s face it: younger spiritual practitioners are remixing the mystical playlist, blending fandoms, anime, K-pop vibes, and metaphysics into a crazy, colorful tapestry. They’re treating spirituality like an open-world video game, pushing boundaries and experimenting with style. It’s fresh, it’s vibrant, and it’s challenging stale ideas. 🎨💫💻
For elder witches, this can feel disrespectful. But babes, times change. New generations always rewrite the script, bringing their own flavors and aesthetics. Shifters are showing that the spiritual journey isn’t static—there’s no one “right” way to access the divine or explore cosmic truths. It’s like spiritual evolution in real-time, and while it can spark eye-rolls and tension, it’s also a sign that spirituality is alive, dynamic, and ever-expanding. 🌱🔮✨
Final Thoughts: Shifting Stands Strong ✨🔥
At the end of the cosmic day, witches getting their broomsticks in a twist over shifting doesn’t make shifting any less valid. Whether they fear it, gatekeep it, misunderstand it, or feel threatened by it, shifting remains a legitimate spiritual practice with its own depth, challenges, and unimaginable possibilities. ✨🚀🌌
If witches want to stay perched on the sidelines, side-eyeing your every astral leap, let ’em. You’re busy charting new territories, babe—hopping timelines, exploring infinite worlds, and forging a path that’s as limitless as your imagination. 👑🪄💋
So keep slaying, keep shifting, and let the doubters watch as you rewrite the rules of what’s possible. After all, the multiverse is waiting, and you’re the star of your own cosmic show. 🌟🔮💫
personally sweetie i think that it is possible to blend and mix both, im a witch who beleives in shiting.
I reccomend you check the tumblr of @theshiftingwitch exemple of you can mix both babe.
Hope this posts answer your question !
P.S : Im about to post soon my essay about antishifters who they are and why they beleive the shit that they do.

New Tool May Make Autonomous Vehicles Safer and Smarter - Technology Org
The invention of autonomous vehicles has proven to be an exciting advancement in technology, but many remain apprehensive about their introduction into society due to safety concerns. The University of Nebraska–Lincln’s Dung Hoang Tran is working on a new solution to change that.

With the support of a new $529,041 grant from the National Science Foundation, Tran will continue his work on a verification tool that will make autonomous vehicles and other robotics machinery both safer and smarter.
Autonomous vehicles are able to operate in unfamiliar environments thanks to learning components that have been modeled after real-world scenarios and integrated into their systems. When so many components are combined with unpredictable and unprecedented factors in live environments, safety assessment and risk management can become quite challenging for engineers.
“We have to build a very complex mathematical and computational framework to be able to analyze a complex system like that,” Tran, assistant professor in the School of Computing, said. “When you design that type of system, the deep learning models might behave in a way that could lead your system into a scenario that you don’t want.”
As a doctoral student at Vanderbilt University, Tran created the Neural Network Verification tool, a type of safety verification software that is still currently and widely used by major companies in many industries, including Apple, Boeing and Toyota. Tran’s new tool will build on his previous work to provide engineers with much more comprehensive safety assessments and results.
Tran’s new tool will measure safety using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. In addition to certifying that a system passes or fails safety tests, the new tool will also analyze the probability of risk involved to provide timely, detailed and accurate evaluations at the system level.
“In our new framework, we can also ask, ‘If it’s unsafe, then how unsafe?’” Tran said. “It models the uncertainty of the environment, and that is going to give you the probability of a specification or a requirement being violated, which is very important for decision making or control.”
Tran’s project will use the same novel language he developed for NNV, the probabilistic star temporal logic specification language. This language allows engineers to determine the requirements necessary for the system to behave correctly and safely. Tran and his team will then work to design efficient verification techniques and algorithms that measure the system safety against the requirements.
“If we cannot prove that the system is safe, then we need to generate what we call the ‘counter example,’ or the proof that system is actually unsafe,” Tran said. “Using these counter examples, we can then return the deep learning model or change the system’s design, which can enhance the system’s safety.”
After joining the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and becoming a co-director of the Nebraska Intelligent MoBile Unmanned Systems Lab in 2018, Tran began building a testbed in the lab to test robotics machinery and software. The learning-enabled F1TENTH testbed is a small-scale system used to create real-world scenarios for autonomous vehicles to evaluate their applicability, scalability, and reliability.
According to Tran, ensuring autonomous vehicle safety requires not only that they perform correctly as they’re designed, but also that they react intelligently when unplanned situations occur.
“Testing is not enough to guarantee the safety of the system when it works in the real world,” Tran said. “We want to make sure that the system itself has some internal decision-making process so that when something wrong happens inside the car, it can automatically figure out what’s going to happen next, then perform some smart decisions so it can prevent other problems.”
Tran said that he hopes to continue expanding work on his tool in the future and eventually create one that could be useful for other robotics developers, like his fellow NIMBUS researchers.
“The ultimate goal is that we’re going to build a software tool that everyone can use,” Tran said. “My dream is that I can build another tool that actually fits perfectly for robotics people, and they can adopt it very quickly. I believe that would make a huge impact.”
