TW: mentions death, blood
Here is the angst some of you requested. Let me know if I need to add triggers
He isn't going to make it to eighteen. This is a fact. Tim knows, with certainty, that he isn't going to survive that long.
Being a vigilante means that Tim's life expectancy is drastically reduced. He went from possibly dying of old age as the CEO of Drake Industries to becoming a casualty of The Mission. Tim knows the odds. Dick surviving to adulthood is the outlier, not the standard.
So, Tim knows he is going to die within the next few years. Either his blood is going to stain his yellow cape, or Timothy Drake will meet his tragic end in Gotham's streets. This is indisputable.
He had assumed, though, that he would last at least a year as Robin.
He thought Bruce would've been safe.
Tim had spent so long cultivating his plans and carefully navigating his interactions with Bruce. He pushed and pulled Dick, Barbara, Alfred, and some JL members into Bruce's social support. He helped mend their issues, subtly insisted Bruce upgrades his communication skills, and paved the way for a stronger bond.
He denied invitations to spend the night at Wayne Manor, he feigned being full at requests for dinner, and had ducked away from hair ruffles and shoulder pats. He maintained a childlike gaze, a helpful countenance, and a polite business mask.
In the few months Tim has been Robin, he has worked tirelessly to ensure Bruce would have support when Tim inevitably died. He maintained their mutual professional distance to minimize the hurt his death would cause the Waynes. He had designed everything to his best abilities. Tim is going to die, but he would help Bruce before then.
Bruce wasn't supposed to die with him.
Batman and Robin were trapped in the sewers after a cave-in. Apparently, Killer Croc, wrestling, and unsteady foundations were a recipe for a severely concussed Bat and a definitely not panicking Bird.
It could be hours before the two were found deep beneath Gotham's surface. Hours of someone scouring their last known whereabouts for clues before traversing the maze the city uses for their sewage. It could be hours before anyone even noticed their disappearance. Between Bruce's distress signal being crushed in the fight, Tim's being lost in the scuffle, and them being miles underground, this significantly hindered their ability to call for aid.
It might take days before Batman and Robin are unearthed.
From the way the rubble occasionally groaned and trembled, they didn't have that.
Bruce is physically present, his head is cushioned on Tim's lap, but the man's eyes are foggy. He keeps drifting into unconscious before Robin wakes him up again. Each time the man's eyes flutter shut, Tim fears that would be the last time.
It's fine. Tim's okay. Overall, the kid only has bruises on his skin and a few shallow cuts. He might be panicking, but he's physically okay.
Bruce, on the other hand, has a head wound that's sluggishly bleeding into his eyes and dripping down his face. His ribs are cracked from when the man tried to protect Robin from the tunnel collapsing.
Tim can hardly keep his panic at bay when the man starts to doze again. His hand lightly pats Bruce's cheek as he begs the man to open his eyes.
"Hey, B. You're gonna be alright." Tim's voice trembles slightly, but Bruce is too out of it to notice. "It's not going to be much longer. You have to hold on."
Bruce closes his eyes again.
"Bruce. Keep your eyes open."
At the command, the man struggles to pry his eyelids apart. Glassy light blue eyes focus in Tim's general direction. There's an emotion of the man's face that the teen has never seen before.
"We could..." Bruce's voice strains with the effort to speak. Still, he continues to rasp out, "Tomorrow. We could go to the library."
Although it is idiotic to hope, a part of Tim becomes elated at those words. The entire time Tim's been Robin, Bruce has kept him at a distance. They were coworkers, and Tim was necessary, not wanted. The teen could handle curt responses, long silences, and hasty dismissals. At least the man was frank with his expectations and personal boundaries. He never gave false promises or a fake welcome. Bruce was honest with Tim.
If they made it out of there, the man would keep his promise. The two of them could spend time together as Bruce and Tim, not Batman and Robin.
A soft smile appears as Tim regards his mentor. "I'd like that, B."
Bruce's face becomes fond, and his hazy eyes peer up at Tim. "I am glad you're here with me, Jay."
Tim isn't Bruce's son. He isn't the boy whose ghost drapes itself over the shoulders of his grieving father. He isn't a brawler when he fights, and he prefers sci-fi over literary masterpieces.
Tim has two parents. They hardly answer the phone and are gone for months on end, but they exist. They love Tim, in their own distant way.
Tim knows his name is Timothy Jackson Drake and not Jason Peter Todd.
Yet, in the washed-out illumination of an emergency flashlight, the kid faintly beams at Bruce.
"I'll always be here, Dad."
#dc comics#tim drake#dc universe#bruce wayne#dc au#tim drake angst#dead jason todd#they make it out of the cave but bruce doesn't remember their conversation due to his concussion#he has the faint impression that jason visited him during the cave in to offer him comfort#(the man is wrong. jason was too busy training with assassins)#this was inspired by that one scene in shameless where frank calls another kid “fiona” (his daughter's name)#the kid allows it and even calls him “daddy” cause she wants to feel parental love in some of her last moments#idk anything else about the show but that was heartbreaking

As much as I hate to say it, and as much as I love Jason ToddI'm gonna need DC to kill him again, and keep him dead this time.
Now before you come at me, let me explain why I think this. Jason Todd is a character that while alive will always be connected to Gotham, and because of his differing morals with Batman, he will always be in a cycle of conflict with him. We saw it in UTRH, we saw it in RHATO, we saw it in Gotham Wars. Because Jason isn't a villain (I feel like in UTRH he was an anti-hero, and any actions that didn't align with the morals he set during that time is because he was villainized by Batman) Bruce's actions feel overtly brutal (batarang to the neck, beating him so har his helmet broke, chemically altering him to feel fear) especially since it's towards his SON the one he claims to have mourned. It's a vicious cycle that isn't fair to Jason, and it's major character assassination of Bruce. It's overdone and I am sick and tired of it, but I do not see either characters backing down from their moral stances.
Now you might be thinking, just because Bruce and Jason don't get along doesn't mean they can't make up-- they've tried. Multiple time. Every time Jason and Bruce take a step in the direction of being close to each other again, Bruce becomes a control freak and abuses Jason like he's his own personal punching bag, and there's only so many times someone can forgive someone before enough is enough.
But I still haven't explained why specifically I think Jason should die again. And it's because of two reasons. Jason deserves peace, and as long as he's a ghost walking on earth, he won't be able to get that. Also because it would make Great Angst. We all know Bruce would break if he lost Jason again. He's going to push everyone away, and if you're going to have Bruce push everyone away, give him consequences for his actions.but we saw how protective Dick got during Gotham Wars. Just imagine Dick walking up towards Bruce and saying, "It might've been my fault last time for not picking up his calls, but this time, you can't deny that this, is all your fault." "How dare you! He was my son!" "You lost him once, and when he came back you treated him worse than any of the loonies in Arkham. You don't miss him at all. You only feel guilty because of your goddamned savior complex. You only treat him like your son when he's dead."
and while we're at it, maybe Tim can have a complete crisis. He had to pick up the pieces of Bruce in the aftermath of Jason's death last time, and look where that got him. All of his friends and family died. He was never truly recognized for guiding Bruce out of the dark, and we all know that Tim is one inconvenience from killing a bitch. Maybe this is it. I actually think it would be hilarious for Tim to take up the Red Hood mantle, Only to screw with Bruce. Because he knows that's what Jason would've wanted.
Have Damian afraid of what Bruce has become in guilt. Have Damians castle of worship for his father come tumbling down, because Damian always knew his father loved all of the previous Robins more than him, and if his father no longer wanted them, what was stopping Bruce from sending him back to the League.
Like DC if you're going to use Jason as a catalyst for an event, kill him off again. last time it was on a whim. This time, do it on purpose. This time, give his death a purpose. This time, make sure his death changes something, because god, Bruce has fucked up so much.

Sorry to like ruin anyone’s night but I just wanna know how other people feel about something
So for those of you who don’t know Bruce Wayne is Jewish (if not religiously then at least ethnically), his mother is Jewish which makes him by default even if he doesn’t practice, Jewish
So I’m just thinking about Bruce who’s maybe 35? His oldest son has moved out months ago and they aren’t speaking, and his youngest son? His youngest son just ran away to Ethiopia and came back dead. So Bruce who hasn’t buried anyone but his parents not knowing any other way to and Jason being buried under Jewish customs
His body was taken back to Gotham and buried as soon as possible, there would never have been a viewing in the first place due to how broken his body is but it gives Bruce more of a reason to keep it closed casket, a part of Bruce’s suit being ripped for Keriah, Jason’s casket not being nailed shut (which makes it all the more possible for him to dig his way out when he does come back), and the biggest one for me. But just the image of Bruce filling in his own child’s grave, he hasn’t done it since his mothers funeral and in a way it hurts even worse, helping to cover the wooden coffin with his son inside himself, trying to keep his hands from shaking so hard he drops the shovel
And I just wanna say, I’m not Jewish, almost all of this just came from things I already knew about and doing research, if something is wrong or should be elaborated on please do tell me, and if anyone has anything else to add please feel free to add it in the tags or comments

DC AU Prompt/Concept
Ignoring the fact that Sleep Well by CG5 is a poppy playtime song, it could actually be really good for a DC AU, gonna put the idea under the cut so it doesn't attack your screen
We all know Jason died, and he stayed dead for a while before being revived and coming back with pit madness and a body build that could be mistaken for Hercules, but what if he didn't come back?
At least not fully, he's a ghost, and he's angry at B for a multitude of reasons, most notably, child soldiers and not avenging him.
So the most logical solution? Kidnap the entire batfam (bar Bruce and Alfred, Alfred was out shopping and such), cut off all communication inside and out, and allow their "inner children" to come out, I had 2 ideas for this,
1) They appear as they would if Bruce had truly nurtured all the kids instead of training them to fight cause what better therapy than vigilantism, so it hurts Bruce even more to see what could have been, and have to take it away
2) They appear as their child selves, angry at what Bruce had (accidentally, but they don't see it that way) put them through
The entire time Jason switches between 3 main forms all sharing bright lazarus eyes of course, the robin outfit, his civilian attire, and how his dead body looked after the beating and blast
Once Bruce has freed all the others from Jason's control through various means, mainly addressing the problem and comforting them, he finally confronts Jason, this can go a multitude of ways, but my favorite I've thought of so far is Jason getting more and more worked up seeing each of them be freed, each of them comforted, and saved, and when Bruce came and tried to talk him down he wasn't having that
Bruce was supposed to save him, he wasn't supposed to die, to him, Bruce was a god, a protector that could do anything, but he still couldn't save him, and even after, he couldn't do the bare minimum and avenge him, instead opting to get more child soldiers to fill the hole he left
He eventually breaks down and Bruce picks him up, holding him tight, but comforting in his arms, until he moves on to wherever awaits him after death, even still, every now and then, they can hear little gasp of amazement when entering the batcave or a little kid's footsteps happily running through the halls
Ps, teared up multiple times just writing this

I dont know if it's an existing fic or just someone's wild dream, but I think about Jason's death. And i think of Tim having Jason Todd as his favourite Robin. Hear me out.
I dont know how or why, but Tim begins to have the ability to see ghosts. Or specifically, one Jason Todd. Jason Todd was exactly how he was before his death, loud and kind. He was exactly how Tim remembered him to be.
And that would be the worst kind of suffering he could ever receive.

I feel like the best way to encapsulate pre!death Jason and post!death Jason is that one of them would want to be cremated and placed in a library and the other would want no coffin, no gravestone, just his body thrown in the middle of the woods in an attempt to be uncovered one day and become a potential murder case that might end up on buzzed unsolved one day. You pick which Jason wants what.

Onto Day 20 of @maribat-calendar-events Maribat BioFamily September and we're back in my BioDad Bruce Wayne AU!
Marinette sat in the exam hall, powering through her maths paper as fast as she could. She had been working hard in her classes and was confident that she was going to pass with flying colours. So taking her time seemed pointless and she was determined to enjoy the very little sunshine that was peeking through the constant cloud cover.
When she was finally free, she raced out of the room, dropping her paper on the teacher's desk. She breathed in deeply when she stepped outside, smiling up at the weak sunlight. She missed the sunny afternoons she used to enjoy in Paris, and still felt the dull ache of missing her parents.
When Alfred turned up to take her and Jason home she was quiet, though she didn't feel as hopeless as she did when she had first arrived. She felt like they were starting to get to a place where she could start healing from the loss, not only of her parents, but of her friends too.
She had begun to talk to Jason a lot more, about her parents, about the life she had left behind in Paris. In turn he'd shared some of the details of his upbringing, such as it was. Of the man who had died at the hands of Two Face and the woman who had overdosed not long before he met Bruce.
And he had told her excitedly of the woman that it turned out might be his biological mother. She had been sad but encouraged him to do what he could to find her. After all, as they both well knew, there was no guarantee that family would still be there later.
When they arrived back at the manor that afternoon, however, Jason was whisked away by Bruce to talk about something privately. Marinette, used to these little tête-a-têtes, sat down in the kitchen with Alfred. She chatted about her favourite recipes and baked goods. It had taken a long time for her to get comfortable with talking about anything related to her parents, but it was slowly improving.
After a solitary dinner, Marinette wandered over to Jason's room, curious. When she arrived, he was packing a bag, flitting around the room anxiously. She cleared her throat and knocked firmly. He cursed when he dropped what he was holding but turned to her and grinned.
“Hey Mari,” he said, resuming packing. She stepped into the room, picking up a shirt he had dropped near the door. She waited patiently as he rushed around, throwing everything into his bag. Eventually he stopped and sat on the bed, glancing over to her. “Bruce found a lead on her. Sheila, I mean.”
“Oh! That's good news, right?” Marinette was pleased for him, even as envy spiked through her gut. She knew that their situations were actually pretty similar, parents he had known his whole life being dead only to have someone new who might fill the space. But he had had time to grieve his first parents before finding Sheila, so he was only excited.
“Yeah, only I have to travel to find her,” he grimaced, taking the shirt from her hands and stuffing it into the bag. He wasn't looking at her any more, twiddling the straps to his bag nervously. “It means I won't be here for a while, I'm sorry.”
Marinette focused on her breathing for a moment. She knew she didn't have a claim to Jason's time, that she was just someone who had been foisted into his life, but he had been hugely supportive. And she would be lying if she said she wasn't harbouring a small crush, even as she tried to push it down.
“I mean, if you need me here, I can stay,” he said after a few minutes, sincerity obvious in his tone. But Marinette shook her head, knowing that Jason was desperate to find his mother.
“No, you have to go. It's not like you get the chance to find a parent every day, and you don't want to be t-too late,” she felt a cold lump settle in her stomach and wrapped her arms around her middle. “Just…just promise you'll come back as soon as you can?”
“Promise,” Jason said, beaming at her before jumping back up and grabbing the bag. He faltered as he touched the door handle. “Listen, Bruce isn't exactly thrilled with the idea of me going to find her. Will you cover for me? Just say we're doing homework or something and then that I went to bed early? I don't want him trying to stop me.”
“Sure thing, Jay.”
_ _ _
When Marinette woke up the following day, Alfred was knocking on her door and reminding her that she needed to have breakfast. She was sitting at the breakfast bar when Bruce swept into the room to talk to Alfred. Marinette was surprised; Bruce was usually even more chronically late to things by sleeping in than she had been.
“He isn't in his room.” Marinette froze, dropping the cutlery as she flicked her gaze to the adults in the room. Alfred gave her a quick, searching look, which she couldn't hold. Bruce turned towards her, as though he hadn't realised she was in the room. “Marinette? Have you seen Jason since he went to bed last night?”
“Um, I- no, I haven't seen him,” she said, picking at her fingers nervously. She could almost feel the scrutiny from the pair and quickly shoveled some food into her mouth. She glanced up at them, only to see them exchange a look. She swallowed hard and hoped that a night was enough for Jason to make headway in finding his mother.
“Miss Marinette, when did you last see Master Jason?” Alfred asked, his tone kind but firm. Marinette focused on her plate, chewing her cheek furiously. He waited patiently, something that made Marinette feel even more nervous.
“I…saw him last night?” She said weakly, cursing her inability to tell lies unless her secret identity was on the line - which was no longer an issue. The silence that followed her statement made her wince and she glanced at Bruce, who was watching her with a furrowed brow. She cracked. “Look, I know you didn't want him to go after her, but it's his mother and if he doesn't go now, when could he?”
“He could have gone when we had made a plan,” Bruce said in a clipped tone he had never directed at her before. She could almost feel the anger rolling off of him in waves and shrank in on herself. “Jason has a tendency to rush into things when he should wait, and it could get him seriously hurt, Marinette.”
“But what were the chances of her disappearing before he followed, if he waited?” Marinette shot back stubbornly, not expecting Bruce to be able to counter it. So she felt her cheeks redden when he did.
“Given that she's been in the same place for quite some time, I'd think he had time to plan,” Bruce snapped, fist thumping onto the counter in frustration. Marinette felt herself getting angry too, standing up so she could glare properly. It made her shorter, given the stools were pretty tall, but she felt silly arguing while sitting down.
“Listen, it's Jay's choice if he wants to go and find her. Now, I'm going to school,” she said, dismissing him with a glare. She turned to Alfred, losing some of her steel when he gave her a disappointed look. “I'm sorry, Mister Alfred, but he asked me to give him the chance to find her.”
“I understand, Miss Marinette. I only hope he is safe, following after a woman he has never met,” Alfred replied, making Marinette feel small. She hunched in on herself, flinching when Bruce muttered something darkly and swept from the room. She assumed he was going to drag Jason back and then she would get a punishment for her insubordination.
She only hoped that Jason had the chance to find Sheila before Bruce found him.
_ _ _
Marinette sat in the drawing room, hands shaking and stomach rolling. Bruce had returned that evening - alone. Alfred had asked her to wait for them in the drawing room and they had yet to return for her. She was desperate to know where Jason was. Had he decided to stay with his mother for a while? Was he coming back separately but soon? Or had he and Bruce fought, and he was cooling off somewhere else?
She was broken from her thoughts by the door opening again, Alfred and Bruce coming in. They had grave looks on their faces, and Marinette began to panic. Why weren't they saying anything? She looked to Alfred desperately, searching for some sign of what was going on. But it was Bruce who spoke.
“Marinette, we need to tell you what happened, and it isn't easy,” he said, voice stilted and stiff. She flinched, turning wide eyes onto Alfred who shook his head gently. A cold feeling spread through her, starting at her fingertips and toes, and creeping along her veins into her chest.
“Okay, but can you tell me when Jay's coming home?” Everything stopped when Bruce flinched, her heart trying to push itself out of her chest. Her lungs couldn't get enough air, but she tried again. “Mr Wayne, Mister Alfred, when is Jay coming home? I- we have a test on Wednesday, it's literature and he would hate to miss it. I know he said he'd be gone for a while, but I don't think he'd like to fail a test just because-”
“He's dead,” Bruce said, cutting her off. Marinette froze, her breath shortening painfully as she tried to process the words. She looked back at Alfred, waiting for him to deny it, to say that Bruce was playing a cruel joke to teach her not to lie. But he merely looked at her sadly, his eyes red.
She didn't remember much after that, she thought that someone had wrapped an arm around her but the only thing she could feel was a dragging, crushing sensation, as though someone was pulling her heart out of her chest and squeezing. She vaguely recalled Bruce saying something about a funeral - how did she have another funeral to attend, for people who had lives ahead of them? For someone her own age? - before leaving the room.
She went through the motions of nodding and listening to snippets as Alfred explained in more detail - Sheila, the Joker, a bomb - but mostly she was crumbling. She felt the piece of her that had been repairing, with every shared evening, with every heartfelt conversation she and Jason had had, crack apart. And this time, she didn't think she could put it all back together.

any hcs on jason's death/resurrection? or the consequences thereof long term?
Death: A lot of people like to think he was still alive while Bruce was digging through the rubble, but I personally think his body was nearly unrecognizable. The only reason Bruce knew it was Jason could be because the colors of the Robin fabric were barely hanging off of him
Jason didn't have an autopsy because of that^^
The Case is a suit Jason would've worn that summer-- it was bigger than the one he died in because they were expecting him to hit a growth spurt.
Bruce wears the Ashes of Jason's Robin Suit in the watch Jason tried to fix for him, but never could, repreenting how time would never move forward for him. (When it went missing Bruce had a mental breakdown, but really Jason took it to actually fix it, because time moves forwards for him again) (Jason saved the ashes because he assumed it was important. He doesn't know it's from the robin suit)
Resurrection: It reversed any injuries caused by the explosion, but not the crowbar--hence, brain damage.
The buckle of his belt was actually a belt that Alfred made with the metal R insignia on Jason's Robin suit (Bruce was going to use the metal to make the Good Soldier plaque, but Alfred said no.)
He was actually calling for Bruce for like.... an hour until he decided to claw his way out. (it take 3-5 hrs to run out of air in a coffin) (don't ask how I know that)
His hands are fucked upppppp.
By the time he went into the Pit most of his wounds had healed, so he still has all the scars.
He now hates it when his nails dig into anything because it reminds him of clawing his way out of his coffin.

So in honer of both of the polls I've done so far (one saying that people prefer long from posts in multiple parts, and one for who people want more content of) and Jason Todd currently being in the lead I want to go through something I've seen lately.
So by now I'm sure that people have seen at least one video/post about Jason Todd and the new Hozier song nobody's soldier, but I haven't seen anyone explain why exactly it is so fitting so I will
Pre-Chorus:
so in the pre-chorus of the song there are the lines "If I tell you this is drowning, You tell me I'm walking on water, I could bring fire from the mountain, You tell me it feels a little colder" And focusing on the first half specifically, I think the way it ties into Jason is having such big shoes to fill and such high expectations placed on him when he was so young. Jason becomes robin around the age of 12, and at that time he's taking on the role that Dick used to have (keep in mind Dick is 18). This is a 12 year old boy with no training filling the shoes of an 18 year old who had been training as robin for near half of his life. He is stepping in and doing his best to meet Bruce's expectations of him, so while he may feel like he's drowning in all of it Bruce is assuming if not expecting that Jason can handle it because he is so eager to.
Chorus:
The chorus gets a bit more nuanced (at least for me, honestly all of this is), but starting with the line "I don't wanna choose between being a salesmen or a soldier." There can be a very literal interpretation to it, bruce calls his son a fucking soldier, after becoming red hood Jason is a crime lord and heavily controling the drug trade of Gotham (hence the salesmen aspect).
But in another sense it can heavily represent the relationship Jason has with Bruce and the fact that in many iterations of cannon that relationship is dependent on Jason's agreence to give up the way he's been running Gotham.
He's forced to choose between being Bruce's son (and practically by default also being his soldier), and being the red hood, a crime lord and running Gotham's underground how he sees fit. Hence being forced to choose between being a salesmen or a soldier.
The next part is the line "Let me look a little older, let me step a little bolder." This to me ties in with the fact that Jason died as a child, he was a 15 year old boy and while he was dead I doubt that Bruce could think of him as anything different.
But Jason as the red hood isn't a child and he defineinetly doesn't want to be seen as one. He wants to be preceved as older, he wants to be seen as an adult who built himself his own life without Bruce no matter what he did to do it, he had to be bold in his actions (look at the infamous duffle bag.) to get what he wanted. And Bruce didn't like that, he hated how bold and "reckless" Jason was being by not following his rules.
As for the next part "Choose between being a butcher or a pauper." Jason grew up increadibly poor in crime alley, as a child after Catherine Todd died he was homeless, he didn't have anyone to help him or anywhere to go, then once he moved in with Bruce he was compleatly reliant on him (one of the definitions of a pauper is someone who relies on charity), so throughout his entire adolecence he was a pauper; he was compleatly reliant and at the mercy of Bruce and other people in power around him.
But as an adult Jason is the Butcher. He is the one controling Gotham's underground and many of the people in it, he has no qualms with killing; and he was the one who did that. Jason made that life for himself alone, he made the choice to become something more then he could as a child even if it was something he never would have done before his death.
"Honey I'm taking no orders, gonna be nobody's soldier." This is just another iteration of just not listening to Bruce anymore. He doesn't follow his rules and he's not going to take orders from anyone anymore, he is his own person and he isn't a soldier to anyone any longer.
That's about as far as I looked into the lyrics for this, if you haven't listened to the song I highly reccomend it, it isn't what I would usually listen to but it's so fucking good. And like always these are my opinions, if you disagree feel free to (respectfully) explain why in the comments or tags

I've sobbed about Jason's death daily for like. Two weeks.
I can't think about it for more than 2 seconds before I'm completely breaking down. It's genuinely the most a fictional death has ever affected me. Every time I think about Bruce holding his son's broken, dead body I feel my heart shatter again.
I don't know what it is specifically about Jason's death and the aftermath of it that just strikes me so bad. None of them are the same again. Jason's death fundamentally changes Bruce and Dick and Alfred and Barbara.
Bruce died in that explosion. Every part of him that had mattered, that had been kind and loving and a father, died a painful death as he buried his son.

I have a terrible sense of humor. I apologize for my dark and warped humor. But this made me giggle and I had to share this thought with the fandom world.
It is not incorrect to say that for a while, Jason Todd was the comic book world’s “Ex-Parrot” in the Dead Parrot Sketch by Monty Python and the Flying Circus. He was an “ex-robin”.
