I feel like adding to this...
Starting off with Ben, I definitely feel like he'd probably be a League contact in the same way Jenny is, but Ben isn't an official member since he's sticking with the Plumbers (did have Azmuth help patch the Omnitrix to connect to other JL Communicators though similar to how it's connected to Plumber's Badgers, easier for Ben to keep track of that way.) and the Plumbers fall into an area where they deal with intergalactic threats just as much as the Lanterns do and not strictly tied to the Justice League.
Now Kevin Levin however... I can 100% see being a mechanic who helps tune up and repair Justice League vehicles such as spaceships. Not to mention he probably conveniently knows a lot of stuff about alien technology, illegal parts, and the alien criminal underworld. (He probably gets along well with Plastic Man in that regard as former criminals turned heroes, or at least retired hero in Kev's case)
Granted he's probably one of the individuals the League is more "in the know" of since Ben himself is a world famous hero but since the attention was more on Ben and Kevin stopped being near him as much ever since Omniverse, when he found a home and job so he could stay close to Gwen's campus while she was at college, and Ben's partner became Rook.
Also I want to imagine as an alternative to Ben himself, you have Albedo working on the Watchtower. Not fully redeemed mind you, just on parole but the Plumbers didn't need any more Galvans so the Justice League was the next best choice for keeping an eye on him (maybe that's why Kevin is there), still stuck as a 10 Year Old Ben which also makes getting taken seriously difficult by the heroes and other geniuses when he gives his input.
Of course all it takes is one comment about cursing this stupid body and mentioning he's a clone technically speaking that Danny "My daughter/sister/cousin/it's complicated is my clone" Fenton and Conner "Clone of Superman who definitely had a strained relationship for a time but made it work eventually" Kent to immediately begin working on a clone support group for other clones (assuming they didn't already have one ready).
So you could make a case for him at least slipping through the cracks somewhat for at least a decent chunk of the League.
I also like to imagine that alongside Dipper and Randy in Archives is Dib Membrane, but one who is relatively more chilled out by this point ever since Zim basically proved himself to no longer be a threat to the world (whether he's basically quit his Irken invasion plans once he finally truly realized the Tallest had no care for Earth or just got caught by the Plumbers or Lanterns is up to you).
Since then Dib has been more active in researching the Supernatural after aliens and magic became more public knowledge in the wake of Superheroes, no less crazy than before mind you... But at least he's calmed down once he's felt vindicated by being proven he was right about SOME stuff.
Sunset Shimmer meanwhile... Considering she lives in the DC Universe here and there are PLENTY of magic users, I can see her studying in the background at some point once the knowledge of magic becomes more public. Maybe learn to tap into that Pony-Up form she has and regain access to her original Unicorn magic power. Probably also helps Dipper, Randy, and Dib on the side as another Supernatural magic expert with knowledge she's retained from Equestria, she was Princess Celestia's student before Twilight after all.
Also all I can imagine is Sunset realizing when a situation gets BAD enough that she has to send an SOS for backup from Twilight using that magic book of hers that's connected to another in Equestria.
The League rumors run WILD after the fact when Shimmer snitches to a post timeskip Twilight Sparkle about a big bad guy they need help with, and suddenly you have an Alicorn Princess just show up out of nowhere with the rest of the Mane 6 in tow, 100% prepared to nuke the sucker with the Magic of Friendship to just turn them to stone or maybe banish them by sealing them inside moon or sun if you want, then immediately say hi and bye to Sunset as they leave without explaining anything.
There was also the mention of Spud from Jake Long: American Dragon and I can imagine Jake himself, as the (potentially former) American Dragon of the World Dragons, is just there to help Dipper and Dib in archiving as he writes down what he knows of the Supernatural. The Justice League Dark takes a long time to realize Jake, as well as probably Dipper, Danny, Randy, Juniper, Sunset, and Dib are adding these notes the JLD don't remember writing themselves.
However I would also like to add for consideration...
A guy who was formerly a scholar that researched bugs, before eventually getting a job on the Watchtower helping the other Supernatural Experts in archiving though his specialization appears to be with more in the realm of Ki/Chi and such, however you would also find him working near the Gym in his off hours.
The rumors only started for him when he was caught lifting a dumbbell with one hand while reading with an old martial arts book in the other, before eventually swapping hands as he seemed preoccupied to notice.
...A dumbbell designed specifically for the Supers and Wonders.
So yeah Mr. Gohan Son became the new hot topic of the rumors while he was getting along great with the rest of his fellow employees. I can see him getting along great and even seeming delighted by discussions with other Ki/Chi users such as Jake with his Human Chi and Dragon Chi, probably mentioning his father and Vegeta having both Mortal Ki and Godly Ki as a result of ascending into Gods themselves. A discussion that leads to more wild speculation from almost every single person in earshot, probably about Gohan being a Demi-God son of a God, and the speculation comes to Sun Wukong due to Gohan talking about his father Goku and his adventures with a magical staff, a magic cloud, and his monkey tail.
However despite the Great Saiyaman being retired mostly, Gohan does remain semi-active as a protector of Earth when needed. But the Z-Fighters aren't exactly in the public eye much and Gohan looks way different from when did at the Cell Games as the Golden Fighter, that it was easy for people to overlook him.
On a side note. I imagine him working on his book, Groundbreaking Science, on the side. A book from Dragon Ball Online talking about his research into the nature of ki and of the martial arts of the past that was popular and helped introduce the concept of ki to the general population of Earth in a possible future at least. Though here it would probably have other information and such thanks to the input from others knowledgeable on Ki/Chi on the Watchtower that Gohan talked to.
However I also imagine how terrible an idea that would be with the amount of villains on Earth there are already, like we don't need a super powered Joker flying around.
Not to mention the Bats especially with how much of a menace they would become if they learned how to manipulate Ki to fly and fire energy blasts, they're already scary enough as like PEAK Human in their world. And Super Kami Dende help you if these fuckers learned the Kaioken because you KNOW they're gonna push it to borderline suicidal lengths.
They are gonna be on the edge of killing themselves between potential Ki Overuse and the Kaioken so much, that I can already feel Alfred's ghost approaching me with the shotgun for writing this.
Anyway... I can only imagine the gagglefuck of retired teen heroes and such just forming their own mini branch of the Justice League in the same way the Justice League Dark, Young Justice, and Teen Titans are. Probably also have Ben, Jenny, and Kim as well since, even if they're not fully retired, it's not uncommon to see them come up from time to time to visit their respective friends/family or need to talk to one of the Justice League members in person about something (or a combination where they ignore "the experts" to get the input of one of the retired ex-teen heroes instead).
Most of them, they're the ones you call when you need advice or assistance with any random thing because many have varying knowledge and at least one can usually help in any niche subject. But they also are a last resort call for World Ending "All Hands on Deck" emergencies when they're in some real shit.
Short DPXDC Prompts #648
The League gets incredibly concerned that their main tech mechanic, Danny Fenton, has instances of his heart or breathing randomly stopping. His skin is cold as ice and his skin is deathly pale.
Danny didn’t realize that the League doesn’t look at hiring applications. If they did they would have seen that he put being a half ghost on his resume.

Damian: So, if a woman has very developed oral reflexes and always wants to… er, lick you or... bite you, which doctor should I bring her to?
Dick: Well, to a psychologist or a psychotherapist, probably…
Jason: Are you crazy? There’s no need to treat that!
Tim [resolutely]: Bring her to a vet.

They're just (not) dreams
chapter 2
Summary -
Mary Anne Todd, didn't really have a safe childhood. While her life seemed hopeless, she at least she had her older brother Jason.
Until she didn't.
Getting caught up with the wrong crowd, she loses her memories and ends up in Paris. Will a Class trip to Gotham jog her memories, or will she forever forget what once was ?
<<Previous next>>
Chapter 2: The turning point
She met him again, a month later. This time, he was a civilian, and he didn't have to hide.
They caught up with how their lives had been for the past 1 and a half years.
Jason tried to convince Maria to come with him to the manor, but She refused. She had grown used to the freedom she had in the orphanage, and she didn't know what would happen to Tim. She had to protect him, for Tim had the survival instincts of a wet tissue.
Despite not being able to convince her to come and live with him at the wayne manor, Jason and Maria decided to meet once in a month.
Maria carefully kept Tim and Jason separately, the other not knowing of each other's connection with Maria.
Till that point in her life, everything was going smoothly.
But, trouble always found Maria.
Just 6 months after reuniting with Jason, and almost agreeing to stay at the manor, she was kidnapped.
It happened so suddenly, Maria barely had time to react. As she had been living at the orphanage for almost a year and a half, she had grown used to being.. safe. In a moment of vulnerability, coming back from visiting her mother’s grave, she had been snatched.
The kidnappers dosed her with way too much of sedatives, so when she regained consciousness, she couldn't remember anything.
The psychiatrist in front of her, who had introduced herself as Emma, told her how she had been kidnapped and how she was rescued, and she listened in a daze.
When Emma asked for her name, she went blank. Crying, she told Emma that she had no idea who she was, or where she was from.
“That's fine dear. Just rest a bit now, I'm sure everything will come back to you soon.”
But it didn't The only thing she remembered was that her name had been Maria, but she couldn't pinpoint how she knew that.
Eventually, the couple who had saved her, decided to adopt her.For the third time in her life, not that she knew it now, Maria was renamed as Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the daughter of Tom Dupain and Sabine Cheng.

Ten years later
“Class, Marinette has some exciting news for us all !” Mdm. Bustier announced cheerfully at the end of her class, smiling at Marinette.
Marinette ignored the looks she got from Lila and her sheep, and cleared her throat, before saying,“Okay so um as I was preparing for our end-of-year trip to Metropolis, I stumbled upon an exciting opportunity for us - an internship program in Wayne enterprises. I signed up for it, and we were one of the 5 classes which were selected!”
At that, everyone in class cheered excitedly, surprisingly, including Lila.
“So, apart from our trip to Metropolis we will also be staying in Gotham, for a month before visiting Metropolis.” she continued, undettered by her classmates whispering.
The class seemed to get even more restless, completely ignoring Marinette, talking loudly to each other.
“So um.. if you want an internship you will have to get your parents to sign a consent form and give it by the end of the week.. also you will have to write a 700 word essay about what you would like to do in the internship. The internship is limited to 12 Students per entry.”
She said loudly, her voice floating over her classmates chaotic chatting.
"Well Marinette, thanks a lot for doing this for our class !” Mdme bustier said, beaming at her.
Saying a quiet ‘You’re welcome’, she made her way to her seat at the back next to Chloe, behind Alix and Max.
“So that is why you wanted us to write that essay !” Max exclaimed as Marinette took her seat, “I can't believe you kept such a thing from us !”
Laughing softly, Marinette replied, “ Well, I couldn't leave you guys out of the internship, of course I submitted our essays first.”
Max grinned at her, and Alix high-fived her. As they both turned front to talk to kim, and Chloe went back to doodling in her book - Chloe already knew about the internship, courtesy of being Marinette's best friend - Marinette closed her eyes, trying to catch some sleep, as Mdme bustier let the remaining of the period free as the class was way too restless to pay attention.
Lately, she had been having trouble sleeping.Every time she fell asleep, she would have strange dreams, of a boy called ‘jay’ and another called ‘detective’. She had talked to her parents about it, and they told her that they were just dreams, and that she really shouldn't worry much about them.
But Marinette couldn't shake off the feeling that it was much more than that.
______________________________________________________________
"Timmy !" She called, walking up a strangely familiar street.
A scrawny boy, with messy black hair, and striking blue eyes was standing there, at the entrance to an alleyway.
Looking at her, he grinned “Annie ! Ready for our adventure?”
“You bet,”she said. “Just wait till I get the best shot.”
The boy, Timmy, laughed, and suddenly, the scene faded away.
Jerking awake, Marinette couldn't help but feel a huge void in her, the kind that made you feel hopeless, the kind that made you desperate.
Shaking without knowing why, she pulled her blanket closer. There was a strange wetness on her cheeks, and when she touched it, she realised she had been crying.
Wiping away her tears, she tried to go back to sleep, ignoring the questions that were swirling in her head.
‘They're just dreams’ she repeated over and over in her mind, ignoring the tiny voice in the back of her head, that it wasn't just a dream, but a memory, from her past.

Double Lives
Damian was certain that his wife was keeping a secret from him.
He trusted her with his life, of course—Marinette had kept a number of things from him in the earlier stages of their relationship, like her experience and trauma in Paris. He knew not to pry, and eventually she opened up. He was glad that some burden was taken off her shoulders.
But this was different. She was deliberately trying not to get caught; she took care to hide her phone from his view, and there were days she'd come home very late. When asked, she'd get irritable but also nervous around him. Damian didn't want to assume things right off the bat, but he did hope she would finally grow comfortable to talk it out with him. And so he resisted using his ‘resources’ to peek into her life—what kind of distrusting partner would he be if he did that?
He knew, too, that he was being awfully hypocritical. He was still yet to sit her down and reveal his vigilante alter ego to her as well as his family's. Damian would swear he planned to rip the bandaid off when they got engaged. But he couldn't bring himself to do it, out of the fear that she'd leave him. As far as he knew, Marinette wanted a normal quiet life after living through the Evil Butterfly Man's reign of terror. Telling her his identity would just put a target on her back, if there wasn't any already after she became a Wayne.
He couldn't imagine his sweet innocent wife exposed to the horrors of vigilantism.
Still, even though he had his own secrets, it felt quite frustrating not to know hers. That was what Damian was thinking one dark night when the door finally opened, signalling her arrival from work.
“Damian?” Her eyes widened. “Why are you still up? You shouldn't have waited for me.”
“It's alright. I couldn't sleep anyways.” And I will be sneaking out for patrol later. He stood up to kiss her cheek—
But froze upon seeing a red mark right at the base of her neck.
Marinette hummed tiredly. “Next time, don't wait for me if you're tired, okay?”
“. . . What's that on your neck?” He dared to ask.
Her hand immediately flew to the spot on her skin. For a split second, her expression changed into a hint of annoyance. “It's—it's . . .” she stammered, “I accidentally hit myself.”
“You hit yourself?”
She nodded meekly.
Damian stared at her for a moment. There was one thing he knew about his wife: she was a bad liar. But she was expert at omitting things, partly because she probably knew he wouldn't interrogate her further. He knew that she was aware it was the vaguest of explanations but she never tried to elaborate.
He mustered out a smile. “Be careful next time.”
She let out a nervous laugh and squeaked out a ‘yes’.
“By the way.” He took a deep breath, “I visited your office this morning.”
“Oh?”
“Yes, and your secretary told me you hadn't punched in for the day yet.”
The silence between them was thick.
“Ah . . .” Damian could practically see the gears turning in her head. “That was . . . erm, I had to run an errand before work! Yeah . . .”
“I see. I was hoping to have lunch with you earlier but it seems that you're busy nowadays.”
She cursed in French under her breath.
“I'm really sorry, Damian.” She fidgeted with her fingers. “I'll make time this week. I promise.”
She hurried off to their bedroom, leaving Damian with his thoughts.
He really really didn't want to assume the worst. But his heart was racing and when he looked at the signs, they were clear as day. His mind started to spiral a little, wondering where he could've gone wrong, wondering if he didn't spend enough time on her or if she felt that he wasn't giving enough effort.
But he pushed all those thoughts away and followed her to bed.
***
One Saturday afternoon saw Robin and Superboy in the Watchtower's breakroom, talking about Damian's predicament. He hoped his friend could at least contribute an objective outsider's perspective in his dilemma and encourage him to broach the topic with Marinette.
“She's cheating,” Superboy deadpanned.
“She's—she's not,” he argued back, “Perhaps I am just reading too much into it . . .”
“Um but the hickey? The late night escapades?” Superboy frowned. “I don't know about you, but I don't think there's any other explanation for it.”
Robin bit his tongue. No, it's not possible. He loved Marinette terribly, and he knew—he could feel the same love from her if not more.
His friend sighed, “Look, I know it's hard to believe. Even I don't think M can be . . . unfaithful but you should confront her about it.”
“I can't. I can't face her like that when I am still keeping a secret of my own.”
“Then tell her you're Robin. A secret for a secret, hm?”
Robin didn't even want to think about how messy that conversation would be.
“It's all just about communication,” Superboy continued. “If you're worried she won't accept you, take my mom and dad as an example—”
He stopped talking, indicating that he sensed another presence nearby. Just on cue, a fuming Ladybug stomped into the breakroom, heading straight to one of the refrigerators.
The two men watched as she muttered angrily while looking around for food—Robin could see the clear exhaustion on her tensed figure. The Parisian heroine had joined the Justice League after the Hawkmoth fiasco became public; the heroes were quick to recruit her but not before she voiced out her complaints about the League neglecting her city. Though she hadn't revealed her identity to anyone, she had formed bonds with the other heroes her age, not excluding Robin and Superboy.
Superboy winced when she kicked the fridge door.
Ladybug did a hundred eighty, showing both the fires of hell and sleepless nights in her blue eyes. “You don't happen to have an extra stock of Kryptonite, do you?”
Superboy looked at her warily. “What happened this time?”
“Your dad assigned me to another magic-involved mission!” She tugged at her hair, sitting beside them. “I thought I made it clear I didn't want to be involved in too many missions especially if it's non-miraculous related ones!”
“You could . . . tell him that?”
She shot a sharp glare at them. “You don't think I did? They're insisting it's miraculous related when Constantine hasn't even confirmed anything! Just because Paris was terrorized, it doesn't mean miraculi are going to pop out from everywhere! These missions are affecting my normal life!”
It was a common complaint for heroes who had alternate civilian lives, but Robin was a bit surprised that she was that open about her feelings.
“And—and Batman too!” She pointed a finger at Robin. “I know Monsieur Furry's guilty about the Paris thing and all and me not having a mentor but he keeps checking on my progress after missions liked a damned helicopter parent! “
Before either of them could reply, she continued ranting, “I was going to meet an important client yesterday but they just had to call me in to help with the mission! And then it goes on until freaking midnight! What about my precious sleep?! Then Zatanna accidentally used a spell on me—it hit my neck and now it looks like a hickey!”
Her head dropped onto the table. “How the fuck do I fucking explain that to my husband?!”
Robin and Superboy looked at each other, wide-eyed.
“You—you haven't told your husband that you're a hero?” Superboy asked carefully.
Not lifting up her head, she replied with a muffled voice, “Of course not! I can't do that to him! He's already exposed to enough danger because of his last name! I just can't tell him ‘ hey mon amour so I'm actually that heroine from Paris on top of my emotional PTSD!’”
Robin swallowed. That was Marinette's name for him.
It ticked too many boxes.
He started to subconsciously connect the dots: catching his wife absent at work at the time the magic-wielding team of the JL was away on a mission; Ladybug sharing that she finally linked up messages from her yoyo to her personal phone; his wife coming home late, tired and fatigued from head to toe when all she was supposed to be doing was designing.
“I'm sure he'll come to understand your circumstances,” Superboy consoled.
“He won't.” The heroine sat up, revealing that her eyes were now welling up with tears. “He probably hates me right now because I'm sending the wrong signals. What if he thinks I'm just taking advantage of him for his money? His family already hates me! What if he's filing for a divorce right now?”
Robin felt the nudge from his friend, as if to tell him to do damage control. Superboy abruptly stood up, spouted out an excuse about being called by someone, and left the room to the two of them.
Ladybug sniffed, “Sorry, you probably didn't want to hear all of that.”
“It helps to get your problems off your chest.” Robin awkwardly patted her head. In truth, she was really Marinette, he wanted to pull her into a hug already.
He coughed. “Why—why do you think your husband's family hates you?”
“Oh . . . I don't know, but his father’s always distant. Whenever I'm at a family dinner, they're just very quiet,” she replied sadly. “I know they're good people but I felt like I didn't belong somehow. My husband keeps saying they adore me though.”
Robin wanted to sigh out loud. His father still had his guard up because he believed she was a civilian, hence there was a side of her family they could never show her. It was always quiet due to Alfred's stern lecture about behaving in front of Marinette lest they accidentally spill something they shouldn't.
“It sounds like your husband cares a lot about you,” he told her, “Don't you think he would trust you if you told him the truth?”
“But I can't! I don't know where to begin!” She pursed her lips. “He's always been good to me and he never steps the line even if I'm obviously lying. I just . . . I thought I could tell him before we got married but I was too scared and I didn't want to ruin what we had.”
“But he won't think any differently of you, would he?”
“No . . .”
“Then you have nothing to be afraid of.” He smiled a little. “It may come off as a shock at first but he will accept it in time. You will be stressing yourself out even more if you keep thinking about the worst scenarios.”
She stared at him. “When did you get so wise?”
“Ever since I started thinking about what my wife was doing.”
She tilted her head. “Huh?”
It was unmistakable. Those gleaming blue eyes were Marinette's.
He was such an idiot.
“She keeps coming home late, hides her phone every time I'm near,” he listed, gauging her reaction. “Last night, I found out she hadn't come to her office even when she said she was working, and I caught her with a strange mark on her neck.”
Her eyes slowly widened as she seemed to come to the same realization. The heroine's gloved hands flew up to cover her mouth. “Damian?” she whispered.
He checked if the coast was clear and slowly peeled off his domino mask to show his full face. “I'm sorry I didn't tell you habib –”
He was cut off by her warm lips, her arms winding around his neck. Damian immediately melted into her touch, relieved that they finally divulged their secrets. He wouldn't have to be worried about introducing her to the hero world after all.
He was extremely relieved, in fact, that he hadn't noticed his father and eldest brother stroll into the room.
“ROBIN! Are you cheating on your wife?!”
Robin pulled away from Ladybug, withholding a sigh of exasperation. He put his mask back on and turned around to see Batman looking constipated and Nightwing utterly shocked.
"How could you do that to—to . . ." Nightwing cried out.
"Leave us." He glared.
"Robin—" His father's voice was tinged with disapproval.
"Leave. Us."
Fortunately, the two scurried off. Damian faced his wife, who seemed as flabbergasted. He was worried since it was her identity that was at risk, unless he embraced the unexpected cheating allegations.
"Oh my kwamis," Ladybug said softly, "I called my father-in-law a furry ."
"It's deserved." He rubbed up and down her shoulders. "What do you want to do?"
"Oh um . . ." She ducked her head. "Maybe go home and I'll—I'll explain everything from the beginning."
***
Damian had to recount his life story after his wife shared hers whilst they cuddled in bed. After they talked, he was surprised to learn so many new things about her—he thought he had her memorized already, even before they exchanged vows. At the same time, he was mentally kicking himself for thinking that Marinette was never closely involved in the war against Hawkmoth.
Of course she was Ladybug.
Of course she was a hero.
So while she was spiraling at the number of times she'd unknowingly mocked her in-laws in the suit, he was regretting not telling her the truth sooner. If they'd opened up years ago, he would've stayed by her side during missions, helping her deal with the troubles of having a masked alter egos, and sharing his own experiences with her. A stronger bond would've formed between them, because they both understood the hero's life after all this time.
Not long after, she finally decided she was ready to tell the Waynes who she was. ‘It would do more harm than good if I kept hiding it anyway,’ she reasoned. He did agree, since she was part of the family, both as Ladybug and Marinette. The others would surely be overjoyed (and less overprotective) if they found out that she was a hero. What Damian found strange, however, was Marinette seemed to worry that Bruce's opinion on her would change and he'd become ‘distant’ as Batman as well.
“Remember, Batman is afraid of you,” he had reminded her over and over again.
(And Batman would be ecstatic to discover that Ladybug was his daughter-in-law, but Damian would never tell her that. The caped vigilante had grown fussy over the Parisian heroes as his way of ‘making up’ for the Paris incidents . . . But at the same time, he cowered ever so slightly when Ladybug raised her voice on him. Damian's siblings blamed Ladybug's black hair and blue eyes for triggering the adopt-itis.)
And so Damian and Marinette decided to arrange a family lunch to break the news to everyone. It was then Damian remembered that there was one issue he hadn't resolved yet.
“If you don't tell Marinette today, I'm telling her.” Dick glared at him from across the table.
Damian glanced at his watch. His wife wasn't present yet, and had sent him a message about picking up pastries from Paris first.
“Tt. That would mean revealing our identities, Richard.” He crossed his arms.
“Just because you have the mask on it doesn't mean you can do that to her!” Dick argued. “Does Ladybug even know you're married?! ”
“What did he do to Pixie-pop?” asked Jason.
“He---he—” Dick was once again trembling in anger and disbelief.
“We saw him kissing Ladybug.” It was Bruce who replied. “Damian, I never expected this from you. You will have to talk and apologize to Marinette.”
“You did what?!” Jason stood up so abruptly that the utensils clattered.
“What the fuck?” Tim exclaimed.
Stephanie gasped. “What the hell Damian?”
“Holy shit,” Duke whispered.
Damian could only stare at the entryway of the dining hall, hoping that Marinette would arrive soon. If he was left with his family any longer, they'd be beating him up and disowning him.
“I have . . . a reason,” he said through gritted teeth. He couldn't exactly tell them right off the bat, since Marinette wasn't there yet.
“Open . . . open relationship?” Cass frowned.
Suddenly, a bright light appeared at the ceiling—a portal— and from it, a figure dropped down, much to everyone's shock. Ladybug, unified with the Horse miraculous, grinned at them with an armful of boxes filled with croissants and macarons.
“Ladybug?” Bruce gaped.
“Your daughter-in-law actually.” She lowered the sunglasses, showing her narrowed eyes. “And your worst fucking nightmare.”
“W---What?”
Damian could barely control his laughter, seeing his father frozen.
She detransformed completely and scowled at Bruce. “This is technically your fault, furry old man! If you didn't keep agreeing to send me on those magical missions, I wouldn't be so tired and caused a misunderstanding in the first place.”
Damian didn't have time to shield himself from the eruption of noise on the table. With his wife's theatrical reveal, everyone was in different states of shock. Tim stood up quietly to face a wall with a blank stare, entertaining another existential crisis. Duke choked on the water he was drinking. Jason was crouched on the floor miserably with his hands over his face, perhaps because of the times he complained to Marinette about Ladybug's uptight methods. Dick's jaw was completely unhinged, and he was slapping himself every minute or so. Stephanie passed a hundred dollar bill to Cass.
And Bruce. Poor Bruce was paler than their porcelain plates, speechless and unmoving.
Damian exchanged a wide smile with his wife. He loved her so much.

Two Can Keep a Secret If One Of Them Is Dead
Damian Wayne, the youngest son of Bruce Wayne realizes that he doesn't want to be fighting crime for the rest of his life, nor does he want any major part of his father's company. With the utmost support of his friends and family, he pursues an art degree at GIA, Gotham Institute of the Arts.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the adopted daughter of Sabine Cheng and Tom Dupain, after completing her duties as Ladybug and passing the title to a suitable successor, pursues her dreams of becoming a fashion designer alongside her boyfriend Adrien Agreste. They decided that they needed to get away from Paris for a while so they went to Gotham Institute of the Arts.
Daniel 'just Danny' Fenton, recently adopted son of the Drs Fenton (what do mean I haven't been adopted in the 9 years you had me!!!), wasn't sure what to do with his life after his dreams of being an astronaut were crushed. But after getting stuck in a thermos with Ember for about a week he developed a new obsession with music. After fixing his grades and perfecting his portfolio, he was accepted into GIA's music course. He was worried about being alone in Gotham but with Tucker getting into GU and Jazz transferring there, Sam and Valerie just across the bay in Metropolis, everything looks like they're going to be fine.
A few weeks into the school year a video is going viral on Twitter. Damian Wayne and two other people who look similar to him are shouting in a cafe near the school. Well, only two of them are shouting the other one is chill as fuck. They're speaking in Arabic so not many people can understand them. The ones who do chalk it up to this: "Two of you are lying and the other one is supposed to be dead!"
Well, ain't that something?

DC X MLB Prompt | soulmates AU, multimouse!mari
In a world where soulmates feel each other's pain, Marinette can't help but pity the poor soul who was destined to be with her, because as much as she suffers through their pain, she can't imagine they are doing well with her dying, and getting resurrected over and over again.
Her soulmate thinks she must be related to Ra's because she just can't stay dead. And is convinced they'll have to fight her someday.

Daminette December: 3-Birthday
The class had all gotten the same notification on their phones that morning: it was Marinette's birthday.
"What do we do?" questioned Nathaniel.
"I say we ignore her." Alya equipped.
"She hasn't really been nice to us lately." Rose mumbled.
"She forgot to bring Lila's cupcakes last week!" Kim shouted.
"I say we go with Alya's idea; she knows her best." Lila declared, "If we all ignore her today, maybe she'll see how mean she's been and fix everything!"
"I dont know." Adrien replied.
"It does seem a little too much." Juleka responded.
"It'll be fine; trust me." Lila claimed, "Tomorrow she'll be apologizing and then we can do something for her, as long as she promises to be nicer."
"Okay." Majority answered.
Nino could see the hesitance on his best friend's face, "Think of it this way, Dude; it's only one day."
Adrien sighed and nodded. He hated when his birthdays went unnoticed, but he was trying to keep everyone happy.
'Today won't be so bad, right?'
Marinette got to school and they all kept their focus on their conversations. Throughout the day, they all avoided her like the plague; no one spoke a word to her. Lila didn't make one comment or spread one rumor, thinking Mari would jump at the chance to be the center of attention.
The bell rang and Adrien felt the tension leave his body. It was now after school and he could now wish his friend a happy birthday. He turned back, but she was already gone. He quickly grabbed his things and rushed out.
'I hope she wasn't disappointed. I'll explain everything and-'
"Dude? Why are you running?" Nino questioned, "Late to meet Natalie?"
"No; school's over." He smiled, "Now, I can tell Mari happy birthday!"
Nino froze as Adrien continued to rush away. He quickly brought out his phone and called his girlfriend.
"Wha-"she began.
"Adrien didn't understand the plan." He announced, "He's on his way to see, Mari."
He heard several gasps and rustles of bags.
'Guess they're on their way.'
The class was frozen on the stairs as Marinette happily ran into some guy's arms and kissed him.
"Happy Birthday, Habibiti." He spoke, "How was your day?"
Marinette smiled, "It's was the best day, ever!"
'Best?'
'Best day ever?'
'But.....we ignored her.'
'We didn't tell her happy birthday.'
'We didn't even get her presents!'
"Your brothers sent me presents a week ago and told me open them when I woke up." She continued, "I already thanked them."
"Well for my gift, we have to go to your place and get ready for dinner." He smiled, "Tom and Sabine are getting ready as we speak."
"Marinette...has a boyfriend?"
"How did we not know?"
"Are you kidding me?"
"Since when?"
"So why is she being mean to Lila?"
Adrien was broken out of his shock, when his driver started honking the horn.
"Adrien." Nino spoke.
"I got to go." he answered, "I'll tell her tomorrow. She seems busy."
'He really wanted to tell her.'
Adrien sat in his car and waited until his driver pulled away to take out a small box with a small ribbon on it. He noticed his driver looking at him.
"She was busy all day." he whispered, sadly, "I didn't get a chance."
His driver motioned to turn around.
Adrien shook his head, "She already has plans. I don't want to interrupt."
His driver gave his one last look before focusing on the road. The model took that time to open the box and stare at the ladybug necklace he had bought. On the back read 'My Everyday Ladybug'.
The next day, everyone was shcoked to see Marinette and her boyfriend, Damian Wayne, all over social media. Alya quickly googled in his name, tryign to figure out what was going on. Why was Marinette suddenly so famous?
The truth hit her like a tone of bricks. There were millions of pictures of Marinette with Damian online. She learned that Damian was the son to an international billionare and they had met on a family trip to Paris a few years ago. Years. That single word rang deep. How had they not known Marinette was seeing this guy for years? She quickly sent the information into their group chat. Lila growled as she read the word: billionare.
'How could she have the luck to find a billionaire's son and date him?'
They all had so many questions for her. They all quickly got ready for school. Lila sat in her seat quietly as everyone around her talked about Marinette. They all were shouting out questions to ask her.
Why hasn't she told them she was seeing anyone?
What about her old crushes?
How soon after they met did they start dating?
Who asked out who?
How did they ask out the other?
Was the thing between her and Lila a giant misunderstanding?
Lila just nodded her head, going along, trying to figure out a new plan of action. Marinette had all the power now. She had the power to ruin her story. She had the power to tell the class the truth. She had the power to get her boyfriend to look into her life. She had the power to ruin her life, the way she had ruined hers. What she didn't count on, was Marinette never showing up to class. The class began to wonder if she had food poisoning. Maybe her boyfriend was still in Paris and he took her out. Unanimously, they decided to go to the bakery after school and ask.
"Marinette left Paris." Sabine spoke.
'Huh?'
"What do you mean?" asked Rose.
"When will she be back?" questioned Mylene.
"Since when do you suddenly care?" retorted Tom.
The class shifted uncomfortably. They had never seen the bakers so hostile towards them.
"We have been working with Damian, his family, and the board to get her out of that school and transferred to where she feel safe." Sabine declared, "We packed up all her things, while she was at school, and she left on the red eye. Don't suddenly pretend to be friends with our daughter when none of you wished her a happy birthday."
"You should be lucky that she convinced Damian not to go to the police with the death threats she was receiving." Tom added.
'Death threats?'
'What?'
'Who threatened Marinette?'
'Why was she getting threats?'
'Who hates her that much?'
"She just wanted to be far away, as possible, and now she is." Tom continued, "She never has to think about you all, again."
Sabine huffed, "And don't bother calling her, she got a new number. I believe the police commissioner's daughter was going to help her set up her new social media accounts and have them fire walled, by the best."
Tom smiled, "It's great that the police are so close with Damian's family."
Tom and Sabine looked at the children, daring them to say anything. They began to squirm under their parental gaze and turned to leave. Adrien stood there, slowly pulling out the tiny box and placed it on the counter.
With tears in his eyes, he whispered, "Tell her happy birthday for me." and left.
"Hey." Nino spoke, placing his hand on his best friend's shoulder.
Adrien quickly turned and they could all see he was crying.
"All I was to do, yesterday, was tell Marinette happy birthday!" he shouted, "And now I never will! I never should have gone along with your stupid plan!"
"Uh, Dude." Kim began.
"Father was right about you!" he continued, "You're nothing but a bad influence!"
Adrien quickly turned the corner and rushed into his car down the street.
Alya stepped close to Nino, and whispered, "He didn't mean it, Babe. He's upset; that's all."
Nino couldn't help but feel his friendship was over.
Adrien hadn't shown up to school in two days and the class was starting to get antsy.
'Had they really messed up with two of their friends?'
Concerned, Lila decided to confront Adrien head on and showed up at the Agreste manor.
"Miss Rossi." Natalie spoke, "Give me one moment."
She smiled, thinking she'd be let inside. She turned towards the gates, but heard Mr. Agreste himself call out to her.
"Mr Agreste." She smiled, not expecting him to talk to her over the speaker.
"You're fired, Miss Rossi." he spoke.
"What?" Lila questioned, frozen.
"Adrien told me about your plan to alienate Miss Dupain-Cheng from the class." Gabriel continued, "He explained how he forced you to tell one more lie after you falsely accused her in the first place. Using my jewlery as a 'hand-me-down' trinket!"
"But she-" Lila tried to argue.
"And now I find out that any future endeavors with Wayne Enterprises are null and void!" he shouts.
Lila remained silent, realizing her lies had not only cost her access to Adrien but from furthering her career.
"Adrien is no longer in Paris. He went to boarding school, out of his own free will." Gabriel declared, "He only went to François Dupont to be with Miss Bourgeois. Since they no longer have a relationship and he sees the class turned against his best friend, he decided to finish school early. He enrolled into high school and will graduate in a few years, ahead of your so-called class. My son is out of your reach, Miss Rossi."
The screen went dark. Lila turned and walked away, not realizing Nino was hiding behind one of the posts of the gate. He heard everything. Sobbing, he texted everyone what he just heard.
The next day, Lila walked into class smiling.
"Adrien is visiting family at the moment." she spoke, "He'll be back soon."
"Marinette was right." Alix scoffed, "You really are a liar."
'Huh?'
"Why would you say that?" Lila asked, pretending to sniffle.
"'Cuz I went to aska bout Adrien and heard the whole conversation between you and his Old Man, Miss Former Model." Nino stated, glaring at her.
Lila looked around the class and realized ling wasn't going to get her anywhere, anymore. She scowled and stomped out of the class. No one said anything, but they all knew they messed up and all because they hadn't said 'Happy Birthday' to a true friend.

We Became Heroes Because You Didn't
The Justice League don't specialize in much. If you ask them, they'd say otherwise. Unless they're one of the Bats, because they acknowledge that, especially with magic. They hate it, but they have connections and will at least ask for more details to deal with the situation at hand. Though they'll need proof.
That's the thing really. Proof. Because how are you going to get proof of something if everything gets repaired by the end? Or maybe you're the villain here according to the public. Or maybe everything you say is just plain crazy that nobody even knows what's going on from the start!
It was only when another group was formed when everything became clear. They were frowned upon, unknown, spoke nonsense, and never asked for help. They were the survivors that played hero. They were the shadowed version of the Justice League.
They were Justice League: Dark
Tumblr media
A fanfic (or multiple small ones grouped together?) that isn't really about them joining forces, but more about the discovery of more dangerous territory that's being handled by kids/teens. Lift some weight for these kids. They really want a safe net by now in their hero careers.
Like- maybe a few of these wouldn't be the JL's fault. Maybe it was the government (at least for the US). Like Danny Phantom and Gravity Falls mentions the government, maybe they blocked off those regions from outside connections.
I feel like it would be funny if maybe Constantine just ends up collecting kids like Batman with his.
They're just kids! Itty bitty toddlers. It's supposed to be our job to take care o' that shit, ain't it?
And JLD now has a bunch of young professionals cause what the fuck, kid. Why do you know this??? Ya know? Maybe the JL just randomly finds these things, calls Constantine after Zatanna fails to know wtf is going on, and he just calls over a kid. Or a group of them.
JL: We need a professional, why is there a child here?
Constantine: Cause even when you fuckers ignored their calls for help, they still at least try to help where they can
JL: We never-
Constantine: Shut your traps! School's in session
*Child tries to explain*
JL: You have to be kidding me. ___ doesn't exist.
Constantine: Oh bloody hell-
Child: And they wonder why they get more attention than us.
idk, I just like the idea of Constantine being a father for OP characters and desperately want a Young Justice League: Dark. I read a couple of Danny and/or Billy being adopted by him, but the cravings... And if it's a whole big crossover thing, that would be great. Tag me if you see or write about something like this. I wanna read too :)
Don't put too much hope in me writing it though, I'm seriously bad at continuing/finishing stuff. But if I do, I'll edit this post with links to whatever I write.

Marinette: 7 years ago when I first came to Gotham, I sent out an email one Friday to the entire Bat-team inviting them to go on a weekend excursion.
Marinette: Only Damian showed up, so it was like a date, and we started dating from that day and got married.
Marinette: Our 6th wedding anniversary is coming up, and we want to go on that same excursion again.
Tim Drake: Oh, I remember it!
Tim Drake: It was that time when Damian asked me to delete your email from everyone else's inboxes!
Marinette: …
