This means that some things that go into this year's total were technically done prior to 2024, but not many! This also means that some things that are done but unposted will not count toward this year (but again, not many!) Also, because I tracked by when podfics were posted rather than finished (the most reliable way for me to track; I am very bad at updating constantly when I finish something, but I can easily go thru to check when stuff was posted & update), this caused the big event months (December, August, May) to be weighted more strongly, but everything made for those events was within this year, so idk, I still think it's fun and cool.

FINAL THOUGHTS

This was a weird year, because I got top surgery, moved countries, and have been unemployed for the last few months. But also I made so much content and had so much fun with it and I'm blown away and proud of that? Like, seriously, how many people outside of like people who make audio for their jobs can say they created almost 6 days worth of finished audio in a year??

I think this year I also let myself just follow my heart and go nuts a lot, and it definitely paid off. I'm not sure what goals I have for next year except try to finish some WIPs, try to continue avoiding things like Big Bangs that stress me out, try to continue doing things like Voiceteam and Podfic Exchanges that excite me, and otherwise just... have fun with it?

I’m back! I took some time off to finish out the semester and get my life back in order and I’m finally able to post again. I’ve barely had time to post about fics, let alone read them, so this month’s recap is a month late. But hey, better late than never?
