Flash Mob Robbery Strikes Nordstrom Rack in Riverside: Authorities on the Hunt for Multiple Suspects
youtube
In a startling turn of events, a flash mob robbery has shaken the tranquility of Riverside, as multiple suspects orchestrated a daring theft at a local Nordstrom Rack. Law enforcement agencies are now on high alert, working relentlessly to apprehend those responsible for the audacious crime that has left the community in disbelief.
The incident unfolded at the Nordstrom Rack store in Riverside, which, unfortunately, has fallen victim to this brazen act not once, but twice. The store, known for its selection of fashion and lifestyle goods, has now become the scene of an investigation that highlights the growing concern of organized theft.
Local authorities have revealed that the robbery was carried out by a group of individuals in what appears to be a coordinated effort. The term "flash mob" typically invokes images of spontaneous dance performances or public displays, but in this case, it has taken a darker turn. The suspects capitalized on the element of surprise, swooping in with speed and precision to make off with merchandise.
This incident has raised questions about the security measures in place at retail establishments and the challenges faced by businesses in preventing such occurrences. The audacity of targeting the same store twice speaks to the audaciousness of the criminals involved.
Law enforcement agencies are leaving no stone unturned as they scour surveillance footage, interview witnesses, and piece together the puzzle behind this orchestrated robbery. The safety of the community and the accountability of those responsible remain their top priorities.
As Riverside residents grapple with the shock of the flash mob robbery at their local Nordstrom Rack, the incident serves as a reminder of the vigilance required in today's world. The community stands united against such acts, and the ongoing investigation aims to bring justice to those affected.

hey, i was wondering if you had an opinion on why the carian children’s alliance fell apart during the shattering. between rykard having invented the abductor virgins that both ranni and radahn employ, and jerren stating that iji forged weapons for radahn’s army (if you talk to him about iji before the radahn festival while working for ranni), it seems the carians were helping each other out at the start. i have a few theories already, but i love your elden ring meta
first of all thank you!!
yeah I have a lot of thoughts about this. I think it ultimately comes down to the fact that their personal goals are entirely different and really don’t have anything to do with each other.
Radahn seems the most disconnected of the siblings in terms of his actions — judging by what we know, it doesn’t seem like a total upheaval of the current order was a priority for him as it was for his siblings. His specific motivations remain pretty opaque, but I believe, based on his obsession with Godfrey and all the references to honor and combat, that at his core he made the choices he did in order to prove his own strength and heroism.
I suspect this is why his halting of the stars hindered Ranni’s plans — he was never acting with her interests in mind. I doubt he was intentionally sabotaging her though, because there is no evidence of he and Ranni ever feuding. I’ve said this before, but the idea that Radahn’s halting of the stars is specifically holding Ranni back is a total afterthought to Iji… if Ranni were convinced Radahn bore her ill-will, killing him wouldve been her team’s objective years ago. Plus, Iji and Jerren are still amicable as you said. I think the situation is simply that, as Iji says, he and Jerren serve different masters with different priorities. The same goes for Radahn’s relationship with Rykard — I believe it’s implied Rykard tried to protect Radahn, but I don’t think this protection necessarily meant the two were working towards the same goals.
Rykard and Ranni are more complicated… I believe the Blasphemous Claw description implies that before the Night of the Black Knives, the two talked of a wider plan to “trespass” against the current world order: “Should the coming trespass one day transpire, they would serve as a last-resort foil, allowing Rykard to challenge Maliketh the Black Blade, the black beast of Destined Death.” Since there is evidence that these two did share plans with each other, it’s significant that they don’t really have anything to do with each other anymore.
I think this is due to the fact that though their goals were the same on paper — remove and usurp the current world order — their motivations and personalities are quite different.
Ranni is motivated by a desire to rid the world of godly influence because, as I believe, she owes her life’s misery to the gods’ meddling. She has no interest in ruling the Lands Between as a god-queen; rather, she intends for herself and her order to be “at great remove” from the goings on of the world. As god, she will be completely non-present.
Rykard very specifically does want to rule. He had great ambitions; his followers planned to serve him as their “worthy sovereign.” He despises being treated as a servant under the gods and having to fight for “miserly scraps” of power… he dedicated his life to destroying an order he believes is “suffocating,” asserting his own strength and authority in retaliation, operating under the philosophy of “the strong take.” At his core, Rykard’s goal was always the acquisition of power for his own benefit… and I believe this is why he ended up entangled with the Great Serpent, devouring and growing eternally, never satisfied… a caricature of greed and gluttony. Rykard’s personal goals essentially have nothing to do with Ranni’s far-reaching plans for a new order, and I think that’s why the two ended up on very different paths instead of working together.
I also think it’s interesting that Ranni and Rykard go about their plans in very different ways: Ranni prefers to work in the shadows and strike when the moment is right, keeping a cool head and a clear mind, trying to stay detached. She is said to have “cast aside” her great rune, probably because she distrusted its “mad taint.” Rykard on the other hand is rash and volatile, carrying out his treason in spectacularly public fashion. He is ruled by his ambition and hubris, clinging to the power afforded to him by his great rune.
In conclusion I don’t think there was ever a chance of the siblings all being on the same page — they’re each too different from one another with their own lofty goals and priorities, despite the love they might have for each other.

Seriously from a comms perspective I cannot stress enough how incredibly smart and strategic this launch/evolution/whatever you want to call it is. And to be clear I’m not saying it’s because they are PR. THAT IS NOT IT. Taylor and Travis are real people who happen to live in extraordinary circumstances that necessitate a plan in this regard because people can be so fucking weird about it.
The idea of acknowledging the elephant in the room instead of ignoring it and letting it take up space is what it all comes down to. Sure it was a frenzy when they first went public and the first bits of PDA hit the airwaves, but in the end what it does is normalize it. By this point, everyone knows they’re a couple and it’s not weird when they do hold hands or kiss or acknowledge each other in public. Because that’s what anyone would do with their significant other and trying to make it secret just makes it weird, for both the media and the people involved in the relationship.
So the way they’ve navigated this again has been masterful. There clearly are boundaries (it seems especially on Taylor’s end which Travis happily obliges) but that doesn’t mean they can’t just be themselves either. So, they’re not inviting people into their living room each week, but the gradual public meshing of their image served a purpose to normalize it. From Taylor’s first game to the occasional fluff pieces to trusted outlets to steer the narrative to acknowledging the public outings to dipping their toes in social media official, it’s making it so that now that they’ve moved into the next phase of their lives (whatever that may mean now but whatever it is it’s clearly serious and clearly considered permanent by both of them), they can share what they want without it being a stressor.
So if Taylor wants to be goofy, she can change her song lyrics or invite him up onto the stage and it’s newsworthy because she’s her but it’s not weird. Travis can be interviewed and be asked about his partner who is a public figure and speak highly of her without it turning into a maelstrom. Gradually their domestic status is going to be normalized so that their every move isn’t as big of a deal. (It’ll still be news because they are who they are, but it won’t seem like they’re sitting down for a root canal every time.)
I hate to call this a “rollout” because they’re people, not products, but in terms of a PR strategy, it’s excellent. And it’s not that every move they do is PR!!! It’s that every move they make is public, so they need to navigate that so that they can maintain their personal boundaries as they wish. It’s not that every interview is calculated, but it’s more that what they do or don’t choose to share at any moment in time is helping them figure out what they’re comfortable with, and it’s also lessening the market value, if you will, of any anecdotes. The more people become accustomed to them as a unit, the less each quote like this is bound to make huge headlines. (I mean other than fans like us because we want our pop star bestie to have everything she wants.)
It’s not just that their teams have set a great example, it’s that THEY are handling it with such skill and grace. I’m honestly blown away by it from a professional perspective and suspect that they figured out early on that getting a handle on it and guiding the narrative instead of pretending it didn’t exist might have been scary at first but has proven to make things so much easier and takes up way less space in all their brains.

listen as someone who has actually fired a real gun before i can tell you that it is not actually very easy to hit a small target from far away. it is conspiracy theorizing to think that the fact that the shooter just grazed his ear rather than hitting him directly means that it's more likely that it was staged to get people (who were already going to vote for him) to vote for him than it is that the shooter just fucking missed because real life is not actually videogames and aiming a gun is actually very hard

Hi Lofty!
We really didn’t want to give the boys back, but…..
Return
Shadow looked at the girls with wide, fearful eyes. “Do we really have to go back to the Westwing? Why can’t we just stay with you instead?” Power stood next to him with a carefully blank face, only his slightly trembling hands betraying his emotions.
Mel opened her mouth, about to say something when she got distracted by a loud banging noise coming from the door. The girls exchanged a look. “Who could that be at this time of the day?” Whispered Nancy. Mel shrugged and went to open the door, but froze when she saw who stood in front of her. A tall figure in a blue tunic and cap, covered in plate armor, with glowing white eyes looking at the two heroes still standing inside.
“You said seven days. It has been seven days by your reckoning. I’m going to bring them back now.” The Fierce Deity stepped around the girl still standing in the doorway and towards the boys, picking both of them up with ease and throwing them over his shoulders as if they weighed nothing.
“You can come with me and say goodbye or stay here. It’s your choice.” He said with his deep, rumbling voice as he walked towards the door. “Wait, we want to come with you!” Nancy blurted, being the first of the girls to shake off their surprise.
The two followed the tall being to the west wing, having to take five steps for each of his singular long strides. They eventually arrived at the west wing, where Fierce finally set the two disgruntled heroes down. He turned to the two girls, only now catching up enough to come through the doorway.
“...”
“ wow! you’re fast, well faster than i expected for a walk.” said Mel
“You have done well, these two small ones look much better after a week in your care.” Nancy saw the ghost of a smile on Fierce’s lips for a moment, before his usual wooden expression returned.
“Thanks? More importantly, I hope you guys take care of yourselves! and I hope that this was nice, you deserve nice things.” Nancy spoke the last part as though quoting something, though none of the heroes had any idea what.
“Goodbye until we can steal you away from Lofty again!” Mel called out with a wink
Shadow perked up, “Ducks?” he asked before the door was closed and locked by the Fierce deity, a moment after the lock clicked the sounds of Lofty’s car returning were heard and the girls scrambled for the window, hoping it was still open.
WELL OK FINE I DIDNT NEED MY HEART ANYWAY 😭😭😭 My poor babies I feel like a villain sosjsbfofcjbsqljwber LOL
DONT WORRY BOYS I LOVE YOU I SWEAR—
HA Fierce being the one to retrieve them, seems appropriate he’s just like “ok time’s up” 😂
@nancyheart11, Mel, thank you two SO MUCH I cannot adequately express how cute and sweet this was, I literally would get so happy every time I saw an ask and looked forward to seeing what adventures they had ❤️❤️❤️ this was adorable
Love you both ❤️❤️❤️

here's a neat vid, go watch it if you haven't yet
there's Some things that i don't completely agree with personally, like attributing the Third sin to Materialism rather than Connection (i'd argue that the Ancients had no big issue with being materialistic, considering their golden attires and such- and that going with Connection overall better addresses both the core of Materialism and relationships overall) and then attributing the word Dynasty specifically to asian cultures but that's more history/word definition beef more than anything djgklsjlcgjkd
oh how i'd love to have a debate with this guy about Ancients...
#spot says stuff#rw#history fact: a dynasty was present big time around the years 800-1000 (iirc) on a large territory in eu which included slovakia#at the core of it per its definition a dynasty is just ''the same family ruled over the lands throughout multiple generations'' tho so its-#-not special or anything. with that definition in mind you can see how dynasties were also european things with all the kings and stuff#its just more often used for asian countries cuz they held out longer with the family stuff probably. or all the damn royal family drama-#-that happened there........ my Gods i know only a few chinese stories but Shit man there was a lot djgklsjgld#i wonder if identifying family members in the Ancient society happened through colors... like Sparrows n her siblings are colored from-#-dark blue (Dad's og clrs before turning grey) to turquoise (Inkling) and through this color coordination are the dynasties named#that's some fun thoughts#this video is prompting some neat thoughts.. ego is the culmination of the sins in short is one of them for example#did this guy actually come into contact with shkika or smth. the 'civilization before the ones we recognize as ancients' stuff at the end-#-sounds very familiar. -makes it to the end- Ah. The RW Discord. i wonder where that thought originated n who parroted it from who#☝ personally making the conscious effort to not seep myself into the fandom Too much since i like thinking about this stuff so i dont want-#-any fan-based answers/speculations. just wanna vibe with it uninfluenced n see where that takes me. also the rw discord feels dangerous

I don't care if people on the left (which I consider myself to be) disagree with me about this: yes, billionaires absolutely suck, but I wouldn't wish this kind of death on anyone, and it's just not something I feel comfortable making or seeing jokes about. (Even for people the world would undeniably be a better place without, death via implosion under the sea that's anticipated for hours and hours and hours beforehand is a particularly horrifying way to do it.)
Were they shitty, tactless, exploitative people? Yes. Should they have just fucking stayed on dry land instead? Yes. Did they deserve to die like this? No. (Especially not the 19 year old, who was scared to go, but went because he didn't want to disappoint his dad.)
The closest one to "deserving it" is the Oceangate CEO, who ignored (and then fired) the whistle-blower who flagged the safety problems, and skirted regulations and inspections for the sake of "innovation." That is despicable. It's gross negligence, and gambling with people's lives to cosplay as the coolest ocean scientist and save a few bucks.
A gamble he lost for himself, and unfortunately others. Others who had to have been convinced that it WAS safe, and had been successfully tested to withstand those depths. Do you think if they knew the complete truth, they would have gotten on? They were lied to. They could not give genuine informed consent.
Yeah, the fact that we live in a world where the top 0.1% seek experiences like going to the Titanic and up into space just because they don't know how else to spend their hoards of stolen cash, or what else can actually thrill them anymore, is fucked up. But everyone deserves to know the truth when it comes to their safety, and make their decisions from that place. Everyone.
I understand that empathy has been reduced because of their systemic lack of empathy for us; like, I do get WHY people are reacting like this. And if Muskrat crashes his Tesla tomorrow, I'm not gonna shed any tears about it. But the method of death was horrific and cruel and terrifying. And I just can't find it funny, no matter who it happens to.
This was a tragedy--an avoidable, morally complex one, but a tragedy involving human beings nonetheless.
I'm not crying, but I'm certainly not laughing.
