Hal: I just learned that sometimes Spooky likes to say things in hyperbole
Clark, confused: How so?
Bruce, walks in (absolutely exhausted): I'm working too much, my vision start glitching...
Hal: Well, there's an example!
Bruce, looking at Hal and Clark that are glitching (literally) in his vision: ....??
Or, Batman may or may not be an android?

Do you think it's possible for someone who isn't stone to have a respectful sexual relationship with someone who is?
oh absolutely. i vent a lot abt my anxieties over being stone and dating on here (sorry) but it’s really not that deep. i’m just a very neurotic person lol.
ofc there needs to be communication and a willingness to be open to one another’s needs and how they can be met! but people with incompatible needs negotiate and find ways to remain in connection all the time.
stone4stone is beautiful and important, but it is NOT the only option for stone folks. we can have sex and be in relationships with people who aren’t stone. all we need to do is communicate, and it’s up to the other person to decide whether they need something we can’t give 💓

*takes a deep breath*
*exhales*
if it’s not too much trouble can you write a ben x tyler fic where they’re just being soft and cute 🥺👉👈 (or ben is tending to tyler’s wound or something? idk im sorry for bothering you!!)
how dare you assume you're bothering me
The others were already asleep on the bed. They were curled up, huddled together, as if seeking each other’s warmth before midnight passed and they were brought back to reality, brought back to their own rooms.
Ben rinsed off his hands in the bathroom. The six of them were currently in Ben’s own room. He could see Aiden, Ashlyn, Taylor, and Logan were already asleep, but Tyler stayed awake, sitting on the edge of the bed. Ben couldn't blame him for wanting to watch his sister, just in case anything happened.
Ben turned off the water, drying his hands on the towel Alex had left there. The bracelet Taylor and Ashlyn had made for everyone glowed in the dim light.
“Ben?” a voice croaked.
Ben left the bathroom. Tyler was holding his side again. He only wore his undershirt, his black jacket tossed onto the floor. More red seeped through the fabric.
Ben rushed over to where Tyler sat. His hands shook.
“Sorry,” Tyler mumbled. His voice was raspy and dry from not speaking. He cleared his throat, swallowed, then said, “It’s bleeding again. I can't stop it…”
Ben quickly shook his head. He wanted to say that it was okay, that it was fine, that it wasn't Tyler's fault. He slowly lifted up his shirt. He was right.
Blood seeped through the wound on his side. His bandages were all soaked with red. Tyler's breaths were becoming labored again.
Ben looked up into Tyler's dark brown eyes. His own were gentle, calming. It's okay. You're going be okay, he thought. He quickly reached for the First Aid kit they'd picked up earlier, pulling on some gloves first.
I'm sorry, Ben thought. This is going to hurt.
Tyler let out a hiss, a strangled yelp, clenching onto Ben's hand as he cleaned the area around the wound with antiseptic wipes. Tyler squeezed his eyes shut, clutching harder onto Ben.
“Sorry,” Tyler said again, voice strained. His eyes were still closed.
Ben shook his head once more. It's not your fault. He handed Tyler a cloth to bite on, pulling out a needle and thread.
Ben could see some tears appear underneath Tyler's lashes. He felt guilty. He knew this hurt him.
Another sound pained him.
Tyler let out a short sob, before quickly closing his mouth. Ben hated how hurt Tyler was, but he couldn't say anything to comfort him.
The stitches were done. Ben quickly wrapped new bandages around Tyler's waist before gently pulling his shirt back down.
“I'm sorry,” Tyler sobbed for the third time.
Stop saying sorry. It's not your fault.
“I should've been careful earlier…I should've been holding onto something so I wouldn't fall out of the car…” Tyler's chest heaved.
Ben has never seen him cry before. Not really. Without thinking, Ben hurriedly took off his gloves, brushing Tyler's face softly, wiping away the tears.
“I hate this so much…” Tyler groaned. Their hands touched each other on the bed. “I'm so sorry for making you clean up after me…after my mess--”
Ben shook his head, motioning for Tyler to stop. He reached for his notebook.
It's not your fault, he wrote. You're okay.
Tyler said nothing. Those dark brown eyes were empty. Suddenly, his head dropped onto Ben's shoulder.
They didn't say anything.
+++++
Tyler was asleep. He either fell asleep from exhaustion or from stress, but Ben was glad he was sleeping all the same.
Carefully, he picked Tyler up, setting him down on the bed, near his sister. He probably wouldn't remember any of this in the morning.
Ben sat down on the bed, watching Tyler. His breaths were calmer now.
Slowly, he closed his eyes.

LETS TALK ABOUT JUDGE ANGELS/DINA
…More specifically the weird Se*ualization of her
This is probably something I just missed like cuz I left the fandom for a while but I’ve seriously never seen anyone bring up the weird over se*ualization of Dina FROM HER OWN CREATOR!
I bring it up one cuz seriously I see people call it out with Lazaris creator all the time but I’ve never once seen it for Dinas and two cuz I was looking at their creators deviantart for references of both Dina and Nurse Ann and oh boy the things I saw 💀
Like tell me why Dina who is STATED TO BE 15..IS DRAWN FREQUENTLY IN LINGERIE like there’s multiple pictures of it, not to mention the weird poses like that one where she’s laying in blood and covering herself with her sword with is really really weird to me.
Also the fact that the literal teenager is more se*ualized than the adult character Ann like theres maybe one drawing of her I’ve seen that’s a bit suggestive but again at least she’s an adult.
ALSO the creator does indeed have older variations of Dina, one where she’s 20 and one where she’s 26 I believe. SO WHY ARE YOU NOT USING THEM NO INSTEAD THEY USE THE 15YO VERSION!!
FUCKING LOOK AT THIS HOW IS THIS OKAY!? WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT IT! AND YES THIS IS FROM ACTUAL ART BY JUDGE ANGELS CREATOR ON THEIR DEVIANTART FOR EVERYONE TO SEE!!

Didn't get a reply back on this but I'm going to post a few (DC) recs anyway? These are mostly places I think are good to start. (Disclaimer that these are influenced by personal taste).
Easy mode: Short contained run, probably less than 30 issues (can be more), very unlikely to have any crossovers, does not require much (if any) further knowledge of characters.
Medium mode: Approx 40-75 issues, will have some crossovers but you won't need to read them if you don't want to, may require a little wiki-ing about some characters/events but only if you're curious.
Hard(er) mode: We're reaching 100+ issue territory, many crossovers (some which can be ignored, some which may be confusing if ignored but you can wiki those if you don't want to read them). Believe me it is fairly easy to ignore a missing crossover/event issue and barrel on back to the main story in most cases.
Green Lanterns
Easy: Far Sector, Green Lantern: Legacy - both self-contained, introduce new characters.
Medium: Green Lantern Corps vol 2(2006-2011) - a few crossovers events here, (don't feel you have to read every blackest night crossover lmao just read what you want even if that is just this comic alone), Green Lanterns (2016-2018) (Jessica Cruz and Simon Baz).
Hard(er): Green Lantern vol 3 (1990-2006) (Kyle Rayner's run) #48 onwards, long run, not all of it is amazing quality but it is more good than not. Significant number of crossovers because this spans 12 years.
Superman
Easy: The Man of Steel (1986) six issue mini reintroducing Superman post-crisis, Superman Red & Blue (2021), Superman Smashes the klan (2019-2020), Batman/Superman: World's Finest (2022-ongoing)
Hard(er): Superman (1987-2006) + The Adventures of Superman (1987-2006) + Action Comics (1938-2011 starting at #597) These 3 titles run concurrently and the story sometimes moves from one to the next meaning you will miss something if you're not reading all three. (I am currently reading these and am only in the first quarter so cannot say anything about quality of later issues).
More under read more
Blue Beetle
Easy: Blue Beetle vol 2 (1986-1988)(Ted Kord), Blue Beetle vol 3 (2006-2011)(Jaime Reyes)
Hard(er): Justice League International/America (it renames at issue #26) (1987-1998) Team book (obviously) and a long run where quality is not always consistent but is fun overall and essential for Ted's character.
Booster Gold
Easy: Booster Gold vol 1 (1986)
Hard-(er): Justice League International/America (see above)
Misc.
Easy: Young Justice (1998-2003) (if you like Tim, Kon, Bart, Cassie etc an essential read)
Medium: Wonder Woman vol 5 (2016-2023) #1-#54 a good re-introduction of Diana post n52 (side note that I've heard Wonder Woman vol 2 (1987-2006) is good but I have not read it yet).

occurs to me that one reason ds is so good is that it’s actually two things which is: 1, a sometimes good sometimes terrible soap opera that’s an amalgamation of classic gothic stories set in occasionally-we-remember-it’s-New-England; and 2, a very fun documentary about a former noir starlet in the autumn of her career surrounded by her fun gay costars and darling ingenues, and everyone frantically making this soap opera at breakneck pace while several comical disasters ensue. and it’s 60’s-70’s New York.

Characters with super speed often use it to do tremendous tasks in fractions of a second. Say a task should talk 5 hours to complete, but they do it in 5 seconds, what type of toll does that take on the body? Clark complains that because she is there, he can't do the work in seconds like he normally could, but the amount of work is the same. Which begs the question:
Different writers and eras might depict it different, and it can change depending on the character. As a generalization of the power of superspeed, what do you think?

She'd always found the muscle and her heart to pull herself from the mire, to take the next step, no matter how shaky. But where had all that grit brought her?
