spEarz2DaStreetz : Aminata Back In Action On Multiple Platforms (29th/Nov.2k24)

It looks like the country of Ghana wasn't the only part of Africa celebrating a week of return, as Queen Aminata took the time to destroy some jobber on her long-awaited return back to ROH.

Great to see, especially since it's been a year since she's done a vlog and now she's back on that too :

The matches formula was a short mixture of Aminata as something of a golem. Three arm drags, a snap suplex, and ending things with a new cradle submission.

The only offense Christina Marie (Aminata's dojo dummy for the night) had to offer was a running bulldog - which was easily countered and shrugged off by Aminata.

A hype package later in the show displayed the upcoming showdown between Hirsch and Velvet at Final Battle. After such a dominating performance tonight, I say winner takes Aminata for the title that she can more than tout.

I emphasize the ROH TV Title as being the ideal choice for Aminata's waist, because for some reason despite the white ropes signifying the continued celebration of Aminata's return, she came to Dynamite for more of the same against Jamie Hayter.

Writing this while in Trussville, AL for the weekend I would be remiss to mention that I saw a Hayter figure in overstock at the local Wal-Mart. On a Black Friday weekend.

I ran into a woman working behind the counter at a theater who had Guinean parents, which led to me speaking about the time I had ran into and attempted to stage a shoot interview with Aminata in Atlanta, that was planned through Twitter from Dec.'22 to Jan.'23.

I mention this to say conversations get struck through Aminata's name.

Hayter can't even sell her action figures at a Wal-Mart during a Black Friday weekend.

Yet those at the AEW Control Center still place Aminata in a losing position when she's at AEW proper.

The beginning series of repeated shoulder blows from Hayter spelled out what this match was going to be.

The blocked shoulder tackles was an interesting way to show that the two competitors were evenly matched by size, but by the time Aminata's running hip into kick only got her a two-count, the fix was in.

Aminata's snap suplex is continuing to become one of her signature's and though her electric chair failed, it still looked great from her, even while countered.

The top rope spot was silly and unconvincing though. With Aminata's height, she just looked goofy on top of there. Hayter's rear-naked choke also should have been the final spot of the match, instead of that clothesline.

This wss a Women's International Cup Qualifier match, so I am glad to see that Aminata participated but at this point it looks like it's going to be Deeb vs. Hayter.

AEW would have been better off with a rematch between Aminata and Deeb, since the last time I saw those two in the ring, they had memorable chemistry. Whoever Hayter faces, whether it be Nightingale or Deeb will be as forgettable as anything else she's done since SHE came back, herself.
