hi!!! i know you're not doing requests anymore but this is just me wondering if you've *seen* this particular web weave in your travels. it's driving me mad trying to find it.

Hello. I've seen you do web weavings. I wanted to ask if you could teach me how you do it, what words you search to find acurate phrases or scenes and how do you make the list in the end. Could help for myself.

I also wanted to ask if you could do one, of being an only child, glad for what it teached and still teaches and will teach, and also feeling of your parents love having a price that comes with pressure and expectations, and that you wonder if you're being cruel for thinking it, but also being so tired you just wanna be a kid again with just dreams and dogs around.

hi !! when i start making web weaves i try to find a central theme that i want to focus on. usually it's about themes in a specific movie or tv show because that's what i get the most inspiration from but you can also do more general feelings

i find and save a lot of quotes on pinterest as well as my favourite authors (my fav is richard siken) and artists (there are a ton of these but i use a lot of mitski lyrics). there are also websites like poetry foundation where you can find a ton of great poems. i try to use more general search terms (for example my latest post centered mostly around guilt and motherhood so i searched for that the most) and i just keep looking until i feel like i found enough quotes that fit the general theme

i find movie and tv scenes on imdb and occasionally pinterest. they mostly come from things i've already seen so that i can write image ids more accurately. if i want to include captions i usually make it myself on canva or google drawings

i keep any interesting excerpts in my tumblr drafts and i sometimes use those to get more inspiration. there are no rules to web weaving but i recommend saving the original author and title so you can credit them and adding image ids to posts

i don't take requests for web weaves anymore but i've made a ton of posts since i started this account. most of these center of loneliness and motherhood but i think some of them are similar
