If it's not Reese breaking my heart with his moping (which tbh feels a lil out of character but then again grief is a strange being) then it's Finch with trying to do something right and nothing going well, and if it ain't them then it's the thought of if Carter were here, she'd have clashed their heads together and already had stopped sm of the issues before they could be thought of one.

okay. venom 3 spoilers kinda? just me talking about my feelings n stuff.

i don’t think anyone truly expected actual monster fucking during venom. let’s b real. it was a joke because everyone knows it’s a PG-13 marvel-adjacent movie. i made an alien sex joke because i like joking about monsterfucking. i wasn’t seriously expecting that in a pg-13 movie. no one was.

also. like. people are allowed to feel disappointed by this movie. it wasn’t as good as the other two venom movies which gave us a LOT more, hence the high expectations. venom and eddie’s interactions felt rushed and hollower than they did in the previous movies. the dialogue was awkward and felt cheaply edited in. the pacing of the movie left a lot to be desired. the random cutaways to characters that didn’t really mean all that much and that stuff about the scientist with her dead brother (that kinda really didn’t matter that much in the end) made the movie kinda fall flat on it’s cinematic face. no, i wasn’t expecting groundbreaking cinema or the next godfather from a marvel adjacent movie about a spiderman villain, but i was expecting more than i was given.

also, they did talk a big game with the whole marriage motif thing (aka the literal tag line they used for the movie, the way the trailer was laid out) and it kinda didn’t go anywhere. their relationship felt more romantic (and deeper in general, if people don’t want to see them as romantic or don’t think the movies should have portrayed them in such a way) in let there be carnage, which didn’t play them up to be more romantic (in a sense), when advertising for the movie. i wouldn’t use the word “queer bating” per say, but i would use the word “disappointing lack of actual interaction between eddie n venom that have any emotion meaning / added more to their relationship like they had in the other movies.”

idk. i did enjoy the movie for what it was. it was funny and related to my #1 top interest in the world . i just wish we got MORE in a way. go read the comics. they’re so married.

When you’ve been in the job for years, you learn to compartmentalise the things you see. You have to. You find a way to carry on doing your job despite the carnage around you.

But sometimes, a particularly rough scene will stick with you after the turn-outs come off. And for most firefighters it’s when it involves children.

I’ll be home in another hour. Bad scene. Can you come over?

The text from Tommy read.

I’ll be there by the time you get home X

Buck sent back and immediately got in the car.

Tommy had held it together as he flew back to harbour; Held it together as he showered and changed into his civvies and as he drove home. As soon as he walked inside his home and saw Evan walking towards him with that beautiful, worried face, he broke.

Buck took the last few steps to him quickly and caught him before he fell to the ground. Wrapping his arms around him he guided him to sit on the stairs and held him. Tommys body shook with sobs as he held on tightly to Buck.

“It’s okay. You’re okay.” Buck whispered gently, stroking his back with one hand; the other carding softly through his hair. “I got you.”

After a while, his sobs slowed down and his body relaxed a little, though still somewhat tense. He sat up, still keeping his arms around his boyfriend. Buck used his sleeve to gently wipe the tears from Tommys cheek.

“You wanna talk about it?” He asked. Tommy sniffed and blew a out a breath , nodding.

“Can we eat first? I haven’t eaten since breakfast.”

“Of course. Come on.” He stood up, holding his hand out for Tommy to take and lead him into the kitchen. Buck knew him well enough to know that when he was feeling like this that he wouldn’t want a big meal, so he whipped up some omelettes for them. They ate mostly in silence, with Bucks hand resting affectionately on Tommys thigh, with Tommys hand holding on it tightly. Afterwards he encouraged Tommy to sit on the couch while he made him some tea.

“You ready to talk about it? You don’t have to.” Buck asked.

“I want to. I mean, I don’t want to but I know that it’s better if I do. Can you come here though?” He lifted his arms up, gesturing to his chest and Buck moved across to his side, situating himself between Tommys legs and resting his head on his chest, with his arm around Tommy’s waist.

It was moments like this that made Tommy look small and Buck just wanted to wrap him tightly inside his own chest to keep him safe.

They laid together like that for a while before Tommy was able to speak.

“Adam. That was his name. He was 13. He was given some big expensive headphones by his parents for his birthday last week. His mom told me after that the only time he’d taken them off was when he showered or slept—he loved them. He was walking on the street and apparently saw one of his friends across the street and crossed to get to him. But he, uh.. he didn’t hear the car coming around the bend because of the headphones.”

Buck felt Tommy’s body twitch a few times, trying to hold in the emotion as he spoke.

“When we got to the scene, he.. God, his little body. You could tell straight away that he probably wasn’t going to survive the accident.” Tommy hitched a breath. “He was conscious, but he shouldn’t have been. It would have been less cruel for him to be unconscious, but he wasn’t and all he could do was scream in pain.” His voice was cracking and Buck squeezed him tighter. “All I could hear on the evac flight to the hospital was him crying for him mom.”

He began to sob again and Bucks heart broke just a little. He moved himself upwards to wrap an arm around Tommys neck and hold onto him.

“I’m so sorry baby. I can’t imagine how hard that must have been.” He ran his hand up and down Tommy’s back.

“It wasn’t his parents fault-“ Tommy said after this round of crying began to dissipate “-it was nobody’s fault really. But they should have taught him not to cross a street without checking first. Especially when you’re wearing headphones. I don’t want to see another kid die because they couldn’t hear the danger coming.”

“I know.” Buck said, placing little kisses onto Tommy’s temple. “You think maybe you could take the day off tomorrow? I think it might be best to take a break for a bit. And before you argue with me Mr Thomas Kinard-“ He felt Tommys body twitch as he huffed a small laugh at being addressed by his government name “-I know that you’re going to be fine, because I know you. But a day or 2 off might help you-“

“My captain already switched my shifts so I have the next 72 hours off.” Tommy interrupted.

“Oh. That’s exactly the same time as I have a 72 hour off.” Buck said whimsically.

“Why do you think I asked for it?” He said pulling his head back to look at him. Buck was smiling softly at him and god that smile could cure cancer Tommy was sure.

He ran a thumb across Bucks birthmark then down his cheek, and finally resting it along the hinge of his jaw.

“I love you, Evan. I’m so grateful to have you. I don’t know what I would have done today if I didn’t have you to come home to.”

Buck gently placed his hands atop Tommys that was on his face. “I love you too. I’ll always be here for you to come home too.” Tommy closed the gap and kissed him softly and Buck felt Tommy’s body release the tension and finally begin to relax.

my personal favourite always always is avenging spider-man #12 + #13. the only spideypool comic ever. it's probably the benchmark for how i write their dynamic.

other than that, the spideypool annual is a classic. but peter's like, unconscious through most of it. technically he's unconscious through most of avenging spider-man #12 too. i don't know why peter's usually unconscious in the spideypool books.

this is one of the cutest wades ever. huge contributing factor to wade's general adorable fanboy persona you see so frequently in fanon.

this is like the ultimate little fanservice book. if you didn't ship spideypool before, you'll read this book and it'll be all you think about. it's so simple, wholesome, adorable. and wade's just, so good.

god i miss stand-alone issues with simple plotlines that just have silly fun with their concept.

one underrated spideypool interaction i really like but a lot of people haven't read! identity wars (2011) - it's kind of an insane book. spider-man, deadpool and the hulk (weird trio) all wind up in an alternate universe where, get this. uncle ben never died and spider-man is evil.

but not like sexy evil. like evil evil. like collecting other spider-man and draining their powers evil.

and wade is also evil. he's like, dr doom evil.

spider-man and deadpool don't interact a whole lot, they kind of all have their own stories going on, but i just love the little interactions that they do have.

they're so cute. so cute.

other than that, uh. cable and deadpool #24? that's required reading - spider-man and deadpool's first canonical meeting.

Jason sat on the mast of the Argo II watching Camp Jupiter burn.

Everyone expects him to be upset, Leo's afraid he's mad at him.

Jason feels numb.

The only thing he feels is a sense of relief.

At any other point Jason would've felt disgusted at himself. Horrified that he'd look at his home burning and feel lighter.

But that was before they betrayed him. That was before they abandoned him, replaced him and reminded him he was never one of them.

A good Roman would've gone back, extinguished the flames and take whatever punishment was deamed necessary in silence.

But Jason want a good Roman now was he? Maybe he'd deluded himself into thinking he ever was.

He can hear Percy yelling at Leo and sends a spark to zap him. Percy jumps, both look up at him in confusion and suprise.

"Leave him alone, it wasn't his fault and you know it." Says Jason not taking his eyes off the carnage.

It's beautiful.

"How are you not upset about this? I thought this was your home." Demands Percy.

Jason laughs.

Its cold and harsh.

"Home? I guess I can't fault you for thinking like that, given your Camp. Last I checked home's don't stab you in the back, leave you for dead and than replace you after you win a war for them."

Percy winces, whether at the words or Jason's tone no ones sure.

"But what do I know of homes." He says wistfully. "No Percy, I'm not mad that Leo got possessed and did something he clearly regrets."

His eyes flicker to Leo, wanting him to know Jason wasn't mad or hurt by his actions.

Before looking back at his former prison and watching it go up in flames.

It wouldn't last, it would be rebuilt and if Jason returned he'd do so in chains and be branded a traitor. Maybe they'd just kill him if the quest didn't already.

He wouldn't let them.

Jason rests his head on the mast and looks at the 13 lines of service mocking him on his arm.

"I only wish I'd done it first."

Summary: You are kidnapped in the middle of the night while the two of you are camped out a little too close to fiend territory. Cooper finds you and makes them pay the price for taking you in the first place.

It's been a week since the fiend leader Motor Runner and his crew of misfits had captured you. It'd been in the middle of the night, Cooper asleep and you on second watch. Your mind was already drowsy, and you hadn't been paying the best attention to your surroundings when you'd wondered off to take a pee that night. Four of them had jumped you, stuffing a dirty sock in your mouth and spraying some type of chem in your face that made you pass out within seconds.

Since then, they've kept you hopped up on a concoction of drugs. It was mostly a mix of jet and med-x, drugs that made you feel calm and foggy brained. Motor Runner had learned quickly that he couldn't touch you unless you'd been double dosed and restrained, wrists lashed behind you as you kneeled by his throne made of human skeletons They'd taken your clothes early on, leaving you in nothing but the thin underclothes to protect your modesty.

Cooper had woken that morning and found you gone, but your things still left behind. Panic and anger had set in immediately, and the ghoul gathered everything up before he started to follow the tracks that led into the destroyed city that surrounded the Strip. It was slow going. The ruins were rife with all kinds of surprises, and he'd had to fall back more than once after getting overwhelmed by a gang of fiends.

However, he'd finally arrived at Vault 3, and nothing was going to stop Cooper from getting you back.

You swayed side to side, high as a kite, and so drugged up that you weren't sure which was was up and which was down. The world spun around you, making you feel sick as bile curdled in your stomach. Motor Runner was saying something, but you couldn't be bothered to pay much attention. Your hearing felt muffled, but you could feel the vibrations of some type of explosion going off further up the Vault.

"Hear that, bitch? Sounds like someone actually tried to come save you. It's soo fuckin' bad that they'll never make it down here."

A gritty hand grabbed your jaw, and cool metal was pressed to your temple, digging in hard enough that it cut into your flesh. Blood wells up and drips down your chin to mix with the other disgusting fluids and gunk that stains your front. Your jaw aches, but you know better than to fight against what the fiend leader wants from you.

Cooper tosses another grenade down the hall, a terrible grin on his lips as the fiends scream in pain, shrapnel shredding through their flesh and sending blood splattering the walls. His side arm flashes in the dim red lighting of the vault, and Cooper relished in the carnage that he leaves behind him. The fiends deserved worse than death, and he would happily be the one to deliver their silence.

They put up more and more of a fight the deeper he went inside the Vault. The ghoul ducks into an abandoned room and quickly reloads, sliding rounds into the chamber with steady hands before he ducks back out into the hallway to blow away three unlucky men that'd been charging down the hallway with pool sticks.

One of them gasps for air, but he's still alive, so Cooper stops for half a second to haul the man up, slamming him against the wall. The bounty hunter's face is stained with red, and the fiend howls in agony when Coop digs his his finger into the bullet wound on the raiders' side.

"Where the fuck is she?" He spits and shakes the man when all he can do is cry, "Answer me you son of a bitch!"

"Down! Motor Runner has the bitch!" the man eventually screams and Cooper puts him down like he would a rapid dog. On he went, dropping fiends and tossing explosives when he could. The walls were painted red by his actions, and the entire vault looked like a murder scene by the time he'd made it to the lowest level.

Tears fell from your eyes as Motor Runner used your mouth, his heavy cock sliding in and out as he takes pleasure in using you. He grunts and moans like an animal, and you have never felt so shamed and disgraced before in your life. You gag around his length, and a sick combination of precum and drool drips from the side of you mouth to mingle with the blood already there.

This is the scene that Cooper arrives to, his features pulled down into an awful snarl as he points his hand cannon at Motor Runner. He takes you in, your bare chest, and the thin panties you wear that hardly cover anything. The fear and broken, defeated look that you wear across your beautiful face.

"Ha! Nice job gettin' down here, Rotter!" The fiend leader hisses and snaps his hips, vulger curves spewing from his lips, "Just in time to watch me cum down your cunt's throat."

Cooper hears you whine and watches you clench your eyes shut. He can hardly see through the film of red that covers his vision, so raged filled that his hand shakes from how tightly he holds his side arm. Motor Runner still has a pistol pressed against your temple, smart enough to not take any chances.

"She ain't yours, Fucker," Cooper snarls right back and takes a couple of steps forward, only to stop when the raider jerked you around to kneel in front of him, on display like come kind of fucked up prize. The fiend scoffs at him.

"Doesn't look like it's your cock in your mouth right now, does it?"

Even drugged and out of it, you can still register what's going on, and hateful shame fills you up to your core. With a vault full of fiends, fighting back had felt hopeless, but seeing Cooper made rage build up and bubble over. Motor Runner had made a mistake when he pulled his attention away from you, and you took your change the second You felt the barrel against your temple go slack.

Cooper watched as Motor Runner's face went white, a silent scream falling past his lips as you bite down as hard as you can. Your teeth pierce his dick, and blood wells up in your mouth as the fiend rips away from you. You fall back, jaw aching at you hit the ground with a thud. You grunt when the back of your head hits the concrete floor, and you see stars.

The ghoul dashes forward, grabbing you the arm to haul you to his side while the fiend wallows on the floor, his hands grabbing at his dick that hangs limp between his legs. Cooper fishes out his knife and cuts the rope around your hands, and you move before he can make sure that you're okay.

You fling yourself on top of the fiend, pinning him down with your knees on his shoulders as you wrap your hands around his throat. You use every ounce of strength you have left, squeezing and watching the life fade out of the man's eyes before you roll off his cooling body, laying on your back as you cry and stare up at the ceiling.

Cooper carefully picks his way over to you, crouching by your side and gently gathering you up and in his arms. You don't fight him and only cry harder when you pick up his familiar scent when you shove your face in the crook of his neck. You shiver and shake, relief filling your body as your ghoul holds you tightly.

"I'm sorry it took me so long to get to you, babygirl," Cooper rumbles, but you shake your head. You didn't care, the ghoul had come for you, and that's all that mattered. He gathers your frame up and stands with a soft grunt.

"Let's get outta here."

Glollop

(Fat Dragon by Chris Duty)

(The beast stirs! Fitting that it's a creature defined by long slumbers. This monster was first conceived during the same "what if dragon whalefalls" that created fallers, although it wasn't finished until I got around to it this morning.)

CR11 CN Huge Dragon (Earth)

Glollop are large, cumbersome dragons who are known to hibernate for up to a thousand years while waiting for enough food to accrue around them, typically feeding on the carnage from massive battles, great monsters, or natural disasters. Any saviors who arrive to attempt to protect people from such events, or participate in such battles, must also deal with the foul, earthshaking havoc wreaked by these wanton creatures. Upon the conclusion of such a feat, they will typically bury themselves in the soil, often near kaiju or similar skumbering behemoths, although they may take time to see what has changed during their skumber.

Most glollop, upon being awakened, are ravenously hungry and focus entirely on food, with no concern for the beings it’s eating and the destruction it leaves in its wake. When hungry, a glollop can eat multiple tons of meat in a single sitting, making it incredibly difficult to feed without another monster’s carcass nearby. 

If it can be fed, however, a glollop is surprisingly amiable, willing to chat with anyone left and grateful for anyone who has helped fill its massive gullet. Glollop are not mere thoughtless animals, and by their lifestyle, most have lived for thousands of years and bore witness to some of the greatest battles in their region’s history- one who is willing to talk to a glollop may find them an incredible source of information.

This massive red dragon has a long overbite and a hungry look in its eyes.

Special Abilities- Hurl (Ex)- As a standard action, a glollop can spit a wad of phlegm and half-digested remains at its enemies. Treat this as a ranged touch splash weapon with a range of 30ft. Creatures hit by this attack take 13d6 damage that is half acid and half bludgeoning, and must make a DC14 Fortitude save or be entrapped. Roughwalker (Ex)- A glollop ignores difficult terrain from broken or rough stone.
