Blah! 🧛 Though it has “fangs,” the tufted deer (Elaphodus cephalophus) is no vampire. This herbivore inhabits high-altitude forests where it feeds on vegetation. Only males sport the signature tusks, which are used in combat over territory and to attract mates. These canines can grow up to 1 in (2.5 cm) long. This species can be found in parts of Asia. It’s crepuscular, meaning it’s typically most active at dawn and dusk.

Self-use Sims 3 CC Tutorials List

Here is a list of tutorials from which I learn to convert/create sims 3 cc in a few months (and as a poor English speaker). I think it might help someone who also wants to try making things for sims 3 but doesn't know where to start, though it's been 15 years from the game release and even Inzoi is coming hahah.

The list covers objects, clothes, hairs and eyes. I know there're lots of tutorials not listed here, that's because I haven't tried them in my projects by hand. But The list will be updated with new things I learn. Most tutorials are in English. Thanks to all these creators for sharing their precious knowledge!

The Rules:

Western Spadefoot (Spea hammondii)

If it (kinda) looks like a peanut, is the size of a peanut, and smells like a peanut, it must be… a western spadefoot. Western spadefoots really are about peanut-sized, about 1.5 - 2.5 inches long. Plus, they do actually smell like a peanut too. At least to some people. They secrete an irritant from their skin to deter predators that, by some accounts, smells like peanuts. While it may smell tasty, it’s not a good idea to put this peanut-like frog near (or in!) your mouth. To grow peanuts, growers start with raw, uncooked peanuts and bury them in the soil. Western spadefoots bury themselves in the soil too. They use the hardened spade-like appendages on their hind feet to dig themselves into the ground. They stay there for most of the year and emerge for only short times, usually around late fall and into the early spring, and it’s highly dependent on when it rains. A simurgh (سیمرغ, also spelled senmurv, simorgh, simorg, simurg, simoorg, simorq or simourv) is a Persian bird that is related to the phoenix that spans an area from Georgia, to Armenia, and the Byzantine Empire and other areas that were influenced by the Persian Empire.

The word simurgh is related to the words meaning 'the bird of Saēna', a raptor, probably an eagle, falcon, or sparrowhawk as the Sanskrit śyenaḥ (श्येनः) meaning 'bird of prey'. The simurgh is frequently depicted as a winged creature, large enough to carry an elephant or a whale, with the body of a peacock, head of a dog, and claws of lions. Sometimes, it has a human face. It is old enough that it 'had seen the destruction of the world three times over'. It also plunges itself into flames every 1,700 years, similar to phoenixes.

Abul-Qâsem Ferdowsi Tusi (940-ابوالقاسم فردوسی توسی 1019/1025), also Firdawsi or Ferdowsi (فردوسی) wrote the most famous story about the simurgh in his Shahnameh (Book of Kings). In it, a prince named Zal, son of Saam, was born albino, causing his father to cast him out, believing him to be demonic. A simurgh rescues him and raises him, teaching him wisdom as they have all knowledge. When Sal was old enough, he wanted to rejoing humanity and the simurgh and the simurgh gave him three feathers to call her should he need her help. He married a woman named Rudaba who had a difficult labor with their first child. The simurgh responded to his call for help and taught him to perform a cesarean section.
