brownstones aren't cheap, so the idea behind this lot is i wanted a brownstone who looks like it can be purchased by low income sims who's just starting out. i also wanted sims with opposite personalities to live in the different brownstones so you can visibly tell the aesthetic difference between the brighter vs darker brownstones.

this lot is a huge 30x30 lot with 3 brownstones & a joint convenience store + laundrymat.

above are the floorplan. the cars are hood deco. enjoy the lot!

I maaay have gotten carried away with this one. I had several ideas for small community lots, so I jammed them together into The Zone's new Itty Bitty Mini Mall!

We've got a bubble tea shop, a tattoo parlor, a clothing boutique, and an arts & crafts studio. I did struggle with the lighting a bit... I also ended up making a bunch of recolors for the tattoo parlor. Hopefully I can share those here if I can get a SFS account!

Baba Yaga's Hut [lot download]

As a proud Slav, I planned to makeover the Watervista Palace for ultimate slavic folklore experience, but unfortunately I deemed that house an unfixable abomination and decided to make my own. I decided to go with a concept of a hut on chicken legs that used to walk around once upon a time, but decided to stop and eventually the vegetation started growing around it, using it as a trellis.

The plants clip into the living room a bit, but I did my best to mask it in the furnished version :)

Important: the chicken legs columns come from this lot by Aya20 on MTS. They were created by them for their own lot.

Neon ambient lights won’t work unless you have these lightbulbs by jgwhiteus properly installed in your game. Take a look at the link and the installation instructions within.

I was watching lilsimsie make a suburbia in the sims 4, and I was inspired to make something similar in the sims 2.

These four houses act as apartments, so you can still play big families on the same lot.

I thought that a Skoolie would be perfect for my game's AJ Loner, and luckily I already had moocha-muses' 4t2 conversion of pepperoni-puffin's Build-a-Bus Kit to make it happen! I got some inspo from letitsimmer's speed build video to add on a trailer, and omgzephyrsims' speed build video to add on a garage :) My AJ Loner is an artist, so I made him a new bus pattern and added some of moocha's 4t2 graffiti to try to get his bus' exterior to fit this type of vibe:

Myne Door Defaults

So I was playing the other day and just happened to look over at Almeric Davis' door at the privacy sign and think, I wanna default that. Ended up being a 3-part project defaulting the sign, the door and the decals on the back.

The 3 wood textures are replaced with textures from Michelle, here and here. The decals are replaced with 3 hobby posters from @simsinlowspace here. And the privacy sign image is from freepik, edited with simlish text by me.

Here's some better pictures of the privacy sign, as demonstrated by Almeric.

It's a little wonky, there's a warp for some reason but I think I did pretty good.

Because I defaulted the decals with a sports poster, a science poster and a games poster I decided to make custom recolors with one poster from each of simsinlowspace's hobby sets. Including the sports/science/games so you can just have them purely as custom if you don't want to default.
