What kind of brushes do u use?

OHH IHOH I use ibis paint X so that’s where all of these brushes are coming from but- here’s my main little selection of them:

For experimental pieces and such (specifically the more anime esc style)- I tend to use this pen a lot! It’s pretty frustrating sometimes due to the nature of it but I would say it’s pretty good

For basic pieces, I use this pen for lineart! It’s the brush you’ll see me use the most :3

Although I don’t use it all TOO often since it’s really just reserved for either really detailed or experimental pieces, I use this brush for extra details (usually on hair)

I’ll usually use this brush paired with the 2nd brush for coloring!

this brush is reserved SPECIFICALLY for when I’m coloring those coroika panel draws with phighting characters LMAO, i absolutely hate using midtones in my art since it’s really time consuming and irritating to work with, so this brush is my excuse to avoid them. It can mimic midtones really nicely without having to actually lay any down- so it’s great for any kind of black and white manga type piece

I’ve kind of graduated from it but this is my smooth lineart brush- also now generally reserved for the manga-esc pieces

Annnnnd last but not least this is my painting/rendering brush, it’s pretty fun to work with since it mimics actually painting, so it’s a pretty good brush if you like a more rendered style!

I finally took the time to photograph my vintage dip pen nib collection, and I need to share with you all how wonderful and diverse their designs are.

These two are my favorite. Just look at them! One of them is named Gorille and the other Mephisto, but to me they're little pumpkins.

And of course you gotta love the Pinocchio nib. You get to write with the nose of a tiny guy! Just not something you get to do anymore.

#I collect them because they come in fun shapes but they're also incredibly nice to use #all the ones I own write impressively smoothly #even the most flexible and fine pointed nibs #I have a ton of modern nibs as well (like a lot) and smoothness plus flexibility is not a common trait combo #good object #dip pens

Kamala Harris does want "transgender surgery on illegal aliens that are in prison", btw.

So since Trumpists are getting mad enough about the jokes to actually cite their sources, I thought I'd put the source out into my left extremist commie faggot echo chamber, too.

The claim originates from an ACLU questionnaire she filled out for her 2020 presidential candidacy, specifically this section:

She wasn't given a new questionnaire for 2024, and has stated that while her policy on some things may have changed, her values had not. (This most likely means she moved more to the center to appease larger demographics and cut corners to reach compromises. The basic politician stuff.)

It boils down to this: If you're in prison, whether for "illegal" immigration or other crimes, you rely on the state to provide you with necessary amenities, like food and health care. Her argument isn't "hell yeah everyone in prison should get sex changes for free". It's "gender affirming surgery is a necessary medical procedure. If you are in the states care while this becomes necessary, the state should provide it." If you're outraged by your tax money being used on this, consider the massive amount of people being incarcerated in for-profit prisons, on your dime. Then ask yourself if maybe a prison reform might be in order.

Worth noting: In 2015, while Attorney General, Kamala Harris actually argued against providing gender-affirming surgery to an incarcerated trans woman, claiming that HRT and psychotherapy were sufficiently covering her medical needs. She has since obviously changed her stance and assumed responsibility. (I would like to take this moment to remind my fellow left extremist commie faggots that "willingness to learn and rethink your views" is infinitely more valuable than "perfect from the start and unwilling to listen to anyone")
