As someone who became absolutely obsessed with parkciv and felt inclined to explore Evbo's other content, I feel like it needs to be properly mentioned just how crazy his storytelling skills are.

Getting into Parkciv you'd think its just the most cliche Youtube bait trash for like Gen Alpha but then you watch a clip of it and it's really addicting but not in a brain-rotting way, instead it's more of like a getting-into-a-series way. So what I mean about this is that the story is all cohesive and perfectly simple while the execution is perfectly adapted to the media used which is Minecraft RP cut into shorts.

Staring with Parkciv's story specifically, I think that the premise is so perfectly simple and authetic to the style of a Minecraft Youtuber. I mean when you think about the 3 things players can get good at in Minecraft its obviously gonna be: pvp, parkour, or builds. Anything else I feel is just like a subset of those 3. Conceptualizing a series based on parkour and a what-if style of plot is such a clean formula for a hit MC series. Now for autheticity, I have to get into what I realized about Evbo as a content creator. Bcause as I was like getting into his channel, I noticed that he kind of just sticks to what he's more familiar with about Minecraft, and Youtube, and all that. It's very pure. His style of content reminds me of the golden days of Minecraft and personally, very refreshing. Now because of this, he can turn like ridiculous premises into incredible stories that just unfold so naturally while having enough passion to back up these stories and provide layers to them.

Now that I mentioned the natural progression of his stories I have to say that his execution definitley help these ridiculous plots to not become so over saturated. Just for context, I watched a video analysis on Techno's style of content and how he became so viral from it and one of the reasons is due to his like chill tone and demeanor and I think Evbo has like this perfect balance of chillness and Youtuber-content-creator attitude. I mean he's narrating the entirety of Parkciv, he can't be irritating to the audience so he puts on this content creator "accent" but excludes the over the top scream and jokes and has this straight forward, natural script with naturally timed, genuinley funny jokes. All his decisions to the story of Parkciv is so intentional and made with the utmost respect to the story. What I mean by this is his decisions are for the sake of the story, nothing is done to like farm clout, or audiences, or anything else like that.

TLDR; just a long way of saying Evbo is a great story teller and I hope he keeps up this passion for making genuine MC stories and does not become problematic.

P.s. idk why PVPciv is getting so much hate bcs its so enjoyable and I kind of like how it's the antithesis to Parkciv.

little snapshots of a mod i have been working on for a few days, cenozoicraft, understandably based around adding cenozoic animals to the minecraft world along with neolithic tools. its heavily based around hunting and utilizing animal parts. most of what is here is tamable and rideable with fun little taming mechanics, so dont expect to be able to waltz up to a smilodon. more to come soon

Bake some Christmas cookies. Come up with cute designs to decorate them! <3

Decorate your room. I'm going for a Pink, White, and Gold theme again.

Get a cute winter manicure. Maybe some snowflakes and glitter!

Buy a Christmas-scented candle. My favourites are Yankees!

Spend an evening reading poetry books. Cuddled up in a fluffy blanket in front of the fireplace...

Make a snow angel. And take a picture of it!

None stop listening to Christmas music. I do it every year...

Write letters to your loved ones. Maybe to your friends who live far away! <3

Go see the Nutcracker. One of my winter traditions! :)

Host a Hot Chocolate get-together. You can also play some card or board games. <3

Have a  Christmas movie marathon. No explanation needed. Essential.

Donate clothes, toys, and money to charity.

Visit a Christmas market. I love Christmas markets <3

Go gift shopping. Start early, so you don't get stressed.

Do some volunteer work. Maybe at a shelter! :)

Go for long walks in the snow. Cuddled up in a warm, large scarf...

Try knitting a chunky sweater. Take the challenge, haha.

Take a candlelight bubble bath. You can also read a book to relax even further.

Buy some adorable earmuffs. Totally in and super cute!

Practice making pretty and fancy bows. I see gift wrapping as competition; fancy bows Always get bonus points!

Host a gingerbread house competition. Fun and also a bit messy, haha.

Review your 2024 goals and make a 2025 vision board.

taehyun is exhausted. his shoulder hurts, his lunch sucked, he got scolded because of course he fucking did and to make his already sour mood even worse, you haven’t texted him back the last few hours.

he can’t really blame you, he supposes. it’s almost midnight, maybe you had a similarly shitty day and just went to bed the second you got home — he understands, because that’s exactly what he plans to do tonight.

a deep sigh escapes him when he finally opens the door to your apartment, shrugging off his jacket and kicking his shoes off somewhere. he’ll put them away properly in the morning, he swears, right now he just needs to crawl into bed with you and fall asleep with his arms wrapped around you.

taehyun is a little caught off guard when he notices the light coming from the living room, did you forget to turn them off? maybe you fell asleep on the couch? he shuffles into the room, hand on the light switch when a…pile of blankets? on the floor catches his eye.

“what the f—“

a muffled gasp came from inside the pile and taehyun startles a little when your head suddenly pops out, looking up at him excitedly. “tae, i didn’t hear you come home—“ he silently watches you trying to crawl out of what he assumes to be a pillow fort as carefully as possible, scared of destroying your hard work.

taehyun can’t bite back the small albeit tired smile on his face when you finally stand in front of him, the excitement sparkling in your eyes successfully making his heart squeeze in a way he only ever experienced with you.

before he can ask you what you’re doing, why you decided to gather up all your blankets and pillows to build a questionably looking pillow fort at midnight, he’s tightly wrapped in your comforting embrace. letting out a deep sigh he tentatively wraps his arms around you, hiding his face in the crook of your neck, basking in your warmth.

taehyun doesn’t know why, but he very quickly finds himself rapidly blinking the sudden tears in his eyes away. it’s like everything just came crashing down the second your engulfed him in your arms, like he could finally breathe and relax for the first time in a while. it felt nice, though he still felt stupid for crying into your shoulder out of nowhere like that.

you don’t say anything. you just let him cry, one of your hands coming up to run your fingers through his hair, anything to soothe him a little and get him to relax completely.

“what’s up with that messy pile?” taehyun mutters through sniffles, just barely lifting his head from your shoulder to get a look at your face. “wh— messy pile?!” he chuckles at your furrowed brows, pressing a gentle kiss to your cheek.

“it’s a pillow fort, okay? i thought it would be nice,” your voice gets softer towards the end and it makes his heart soar, “and you look like you could use something nice, hm?”

taehyun already feels like crying again when you cup his face and look up at him with this heart wrenching mix of overflowing love and worry; you just want him to be fine and healthy and happy.

god, he’s a fool in love.

he nods silently and watches you crawl back into the fort first, smiling softly when you hold open the entrance for him with your head popping out, looking up at him expectantly. following suit he gets comfortable next to you, the sheer amount of soft material surrounding him making it virtually impossible for him to be uncomfortable.

the dimly lit atmosphere is cozy and makes taehyun drowsy, snuggling closer to you almost on instinct when he feels his eyelids getting heavier. you pull him closer to you, letting him rest his head on your chest, hands gently rubbing along his back to soothe his tired muscles.

“i love you,” he whispers tiredly, tightening the hold he has on you, “and your messy pile.”

you pinch his side in retaliation for the slandering of your hard work, his sleepy chuckles making your heart flutter. “love you too,” you mumble against his skin, pressing a few kisses along his forehead, “even if you’re mean about my very nice pillow fort.”
