My little problematic princess 🙄

Life has been doing it's thing (life-ing as per usual) but I had an hour or so to hop in game; completely disregarding my initial plans, I ended up in miss thang's household (then spun her and the girls around in CAS for bit).

She decided to spend some "me time" crafting her bucketlist while the girls were at daycare & school - and one of her goals is to become a 3-star celebrity. I swear my game and my mind are one because (even though I haven't really shared it) She's a hair stylist. She owns a hair salon/brand and is in the process of finding "the perfect location" and planning her grand opening. But since she wants to be well known/famous or whatever, She's now managed to ease her way into the Get Famous gameplay that I've been working on (with Penny). Funny enough, she's (childhood) best friends with Annika (who is Penny's cousin). I love when my game games! LOL.

It's still summer in game so - I need to decorate for Eden's birthday (she's FINALLY aging up to a child), GeGe has FINALLY completed her childhood aspiration (so she'll be aging up to a teen...after I have them all go on a family vacation...and give some of her childhood friends a makeover), then Marguerite needs to have her Girls Trip for her (ageless) birthday THEN it's Melo's (ageless) birthday celebration [because they can stay Young Adults for a little while longer]. I also need to prep for Melo and Monet's wedding (he just got the whim again and I need to go ahead and let them be great)

Everyone currently lives in San Sequoia but I desperately need a change of scenery the save is entering into a new era (very soon) and it's time to switch some things up

Melo & Co will be moving - most likely to Oasis Springs due to new career opportunities for him and Monet (AND the girls - Gege and Eden - are coming with them). It's his turn to have custody since they will be aging up. They may also be getting a pet (but I'm a bit iffy because that'll make them have a full house and they wont be able to have stay overs 🙄 and Coleman (Monet's brother) spends quite a bit of time with them). Marguerite is currently figuring out her next move - literally and figuratively. She may just be moving to Red Rock (the "upscale" part of Strangerville) which is only a few minutes away from Oasis Springs (because ya'll know she's not gonna be far from her babies) - and she's a bit tired of Scar driving by her house all the damn time! She'll also be closer to her brother (Trace), her bestie Annika, AND Egypt will be able to spend more time with her dad's side of the family (because they just so happen to live in Oasis Springs too).

There's quite a bit I need to do (and it make take a while) but I'm looking forward to it. I should probably update my game and I definitely need to delete some cc because my mods folder is outrageous. If ya'll read all that, ily. 💛

So Ever & Professor Montgomery Laike have been tasked to work together on Ever's first case but she's annoyed for obvious reasons. If you don't know their lore, Ever strugged in Law School and Laike was the typical Professor. Working for Tameika means taking things as they come and doing what's asked of you. We'll see how these two adapt.

Her social life is still non-existent outside of dinner + drinks with her bestie Fallon. Hiring someone to get some lovin' back in her life might be the move.

They're temporarily living with her as I prep the save but I love seeing them all together whenever I pop into their household.

Sade got fired from her job as a Mixologist and is tapping into her creativity. She is always in the garage either painiting or crafting something on the lil' crystal creations table (can't remember the right name for it)

Meanwhile, Fabian is either working out, fixing all the appliances that break DAILY 🙄 or helping Imani with her school projects. He's in the Military (and is currently awaiting his deployment assignment - #INeedToFigureOutWhereHesGonnaLive) but until then...he's enjoying his time in Brindleton Bay with the fam.

Imani adopted a stray cat named Tiger (without her mom's permisson) and everyone in the house seems to get along with him (or her...can't remember but I definitely need to go into CAS and check). Laila's niece, Lexi, is a Vet; so we're definitely going on a lil trip to get a lil snip snip for Tiger because no ma'am! They've been walking around the house in heat and I cannot. Lol.

In an AU, Melo and Marguerite never got a divorce. I can neither confirm nor deny if She disclosed to him that Egypt wasn't his. It was probably a secret that she would've taken to the grave, if she could've.

Of course in the current gameplay storyverse - Melo is HAPPILY engaged to Monet and has an awesome co-parenting dynamic with Marguerite. He is ACTIVELY in all of his children's lives and is an amazing father (and person overall). He's super protective over the ladies in his life (Auntie Bev, Ashanti, TJ) - Girl, He doesn't play about the ones he loves.

BUT...Marguerite on the other hand hasn't been able to truly move on. Although she has tried her hand at dating other men, Melo is the one that has (most likely will always have) her heart. Just the other sim week she called him asking if they could try their love again, until he hit her with the "new phone, who dis" response because that was the only "HELL NAH" type of response that was available. Lol. They still have very strong attraction to one another and that pink relationship bar just won't manage to go away. It was fully red about a week ago and now it's halfway pink again. I HATE IT HERE! But I also love when my game & my mind are locked in (because that was how their dynamic was in my mind before I truly started playing their story out).

This is Melo's 5th (and hopefully last) child, Kairi. [cause girl, I'm so tired of hearing infants scream EVERY time I load their damn house]. They thought they were doing good, abiding by the 6-weeks postpartum "rule" and waited until the 7th week to release those inhabitiions...and BOOP! Miss girl was pregnant AGAIN. Shortly after she was born, fate influenced Melo's child preferences from "Would love to have a child" to "Doesn't want children"...but oddly enough every other business day he has the whim to have a child.😩 Sir, make it make sense! At this point I think Papa has a breeding kink because. . .WTF!?

Fun fact: Giordano is Melo's only son. Monet had the brilliant idea of giving him her last name as his first name since she decided she wasn't hyphenating her last name after marriage. It just so happened to work out because Melo then had the idea to nickname him Donnie (after one of his fave artists, Donnie Hathaway). Win-Win! Lol.

Hey Nonny, Hey! I'm giving you a big virtual hug right now because thank you! I appreciate you poppin' over to my teensy tiny corner of the internet with your kind words. 💛

But also *saying this with love of course* GET OUTTA MY HEAD! Lol. Because the moment Discover University was released my brain has been hooked on doing this, then I got side tracked with Melo & 'nem. I've been collecting my ideas (and CC) for a college story because I want my save to be immersive (recoloring CC, building/renovating a few lots, and trying my hand at making text overrides etc) but the game constantly updating/glitching/breaking deterred me a bit. When For Rent was released, I started working on that save again - but I've had the save corrupting bug that came with that rentals, so, I got deterred again. Lol. Then I sorta kinda battled with who should be the students, like if I should wait until Melo's oldest daughter aged up...but I can't bring myself to age her up. 😩 Then I was torn between doing it as an LP or a gameplay screenies style story. Because I would love for ya'll to just vibe out in my saves with me and YouTube has been on the to-do list for years at this point.

To make a short story long: Yes, it's on my list of to-do's because I really wanna get back into my game playing era and I'd love to share it with ya'll. I have a test save where I just plopped some randoms in there just to see how it all works because I haven't sent anyone to school since the pack came out and it motivated me to get back to my original plan. Now you popping in with this question randomly just gave me some more motivation. I just added some necessary CC "for the vision" like two weeks ago too - so i'll take this as a sign. 😁
