Hey dolls! can everyone share their beauty tips, secrets, hacks or what you do in general 💕
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I am currently trying to make my ultimate feminine beauty routine! Here’s some of what I do 💗 🎀
Tips 4 smelling delicious 😋
Bodycare
♡︎ antibacterial soap before regular soap (dettol, dial, dove)
♡︎ always use some kind of wash cloth for best exfoliation
♡︎ glycolic acid for underarms before deodorant (works to reduce odour and hyperpigmentation)
♡︎ Body lotion (layering is important in smelling good so use products with the same notes)
♡︎ Body oil/gel scents of your choice I love cocoa butter it pares nicely with vanilla scents
♡︎ Body powder placed underarms, between thighs, neck, creases of knees and arms
♡︎ Perfume oil lasts super long so I like to put that before my regular spray perfume
Now you are ready to go out into the world smelling like the sweetest most delicious cookie!🍪💗
Any questions let me know down below please.

maintaining a clean and fresh appearance⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🫧
Tumblr media
HAIR ; learn to do a hairstyle rly well so that then u can have a signature go-to hairstyle that looks pretty and looks neat. some neat hair styles include
slick back ponytails
slick back braids
claw clip hairstyles
half-up half-downs
Tumblr media Tumblr media
NAILS ; grow out ur nails and use a clear polish to prevent the nails from breaking. also, file the nails in the shape that u want so that then ur nails can look polished and beautiful.
LESS IS MORE ; if ur going for a clean and polished look, less is more in ur makeup so keep things simple. not only for makeup but for skincare, keeping things simple removes stress from you and frees up your time for other things as well.
TOUCH UPS ; carry some lip palm, hand lotion, extra mascara, perfume etc around with you so that then u can do touch ups throughout the day and keep your appearance polished at all times. i do touch ups during my classes at school bcuz school air is brutal sometimes.

achieving buttery smooth skin ° ᡣ𐭩 . ° .
Tumblr media
achieving soft skin starts before the shower!! so having a pre shower routine is essential
DRY BRUSHING
get. a. dry. brush. just do it. it made my skin so so soft before I even got into the shower. dry brushing stimulates the lymphatic system, exfoliates the skin, removes toxins, etc. i do this one- two times per week! but it all depends on your skin sensitivity.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
MOISTURIZING
right when you get out of the shower, you need to moisturize. lotion, body oil to seal everything in, and then perfume, all in that order = the softest skin ever
SHAVING
something that could cause dry skin is your shaving routine. its recommended to use at least a four blade razor to get the closest, smoothest shave. I personally like using baby oil or something along the lines of that to shave because it doesn't irritate skin and it always makes my shave come out amazing. please please exfoliate before you shave. it removes the layer of dead skin so you're able to get a closer shave
EXFOLIATING
same thing with the dry brush, i love a good sugar scrub or exfoliating gloves. keep in mind you don't need to use these every single day since it will damage your skin.
SOME OF MY FAVE PRODUCTS FOR SOFT SKIN:
EOS vanilla cashmere body lotion
palmers cocoa butter body oil
victoria's secret vanilla body oil
bath and body works strawberry pound cake lotion
treehut sugar scrubs
pure shea butter
palmers body gloss

♡ Body & Face Care Tips (for when showering is too much) ♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Showering is hard sometimes for multiple reasons T-T
But I made a post abt hair care sans-shower so now we gotta talk about body care!! Unfortunately I don’t have as many tips as I did for the hair care one - but on the bright side it’s a little simpler ♡
~ Body Care ~
♡ Baby wipes are your best friend. Go through & wipe down every part of your body. After you hit big target areas (armpits, feet, genitals) switch to a new baby wipe. You can also get biiiiiiig ones from CVS or Walmart sometimes. Look into bathing cloths - they’re usually really big and antibacterial so they’re awesome to have on hand.
♡ If you don’t have baby wipes or bathing cloths, or just don’t want to spend the money on them, use a wet washcloth. You can use a little bit of soap on it if you need, just be sure to wipe down with just water afterwards to avoid soap residue on your skin - that can make you very itchy. I usually recommend baby soap because if you miss any it tends to be less itchy once it dries.
♡ You can also use a body sponge for this (a sponge NOT a loofa, loofas hold on to too much soap so it’s hard to use them to get excess soap off later). You also don’t really have to be at a sink! You can use just a bowl of water so you can do this anywhere. ^-^
♡ Baby powder is really good for hot months, patting a little baby powder onto high-sweat areas & joints can help prevent chafing and keep you dry & fresh through the day. You can also use a little bit of baby powder in your shoes to freshen them up, same for clothes and bedsheets - baby powder is just kind of awesome.
♡ Lotion is amazing for rehydrating skin & smelling fresh after a good wipe-down. I’m obsessed with the baby lotions because they’re not too thick so texturally it doesn’t feel as sticky.
♡ Legs & armpits can be shaved outside of the shower if you want to. Wet your legs, use conditioner or a shaving cream, and shave. Rinse off your razor frequently & make sure you wipe down the area with a wet washcloth afterwards to make sure there is no soap residue. I’ve done this on the couch before I’m not even going to lie. (You also totally don’t have to shave, absolutely 0 shame it’s not like a required thing at all, this is more so of a “if you want to” kind of thing.)
~ Face Care ~
♡ Makeup remover wipes are amazing I love them. On days where washing my face is too much I use a makeup removing wipe (even if I’m not wearing makeup) to get any oils etc off, and then follow up with a baby wipe. Works great.
♡ Micellar water is also amazing. You can use a little washcloth or pad to wipe down your face (no rinsing required) or squirt some into your hands, wipe down your face, then rinse with water. Much lighter than soap so sometimes if you’re not feeling up to the whole face washing thing, this can feel a bit less taxing.
♡ Don’t worry about all the extra stuff. If you have the energy for all the creams and serums and toners and spot treatments that’s amazing but if you don’t, just don’t do it. I promise your skin is not going to freak out if you skip out on some serums. Wash face -> moisturize -> and you should be good to go. Honestly depending on your skin type & what face wash you’re using you may not even need moisturizer either.
~ Make the Shower More Bearable ~
♡ Shower while sitting down. I bought a little kid’s plastic stool from Walmart for like $7 & it works wonders for the days where I’m too exhausted to shower.
♡ Use a shower cap so you can just focus on cleaning your body.
♡ Use a soap you enjoy the scent and texture of, switching up soap scents can make things feel new and less taxing too. If you want, use a 3-in-1 shampoo conditioner body wash combo, if it makes the process easier, just do it ♡ whatever you can do to make things easier.
♡ Shower with the lights off. Do not shave if you’re showering with the lights off. But sometimes if the idea of looking too closely at your body is too much, showering with the lights off can help a little bit. Alternatively, covering the mirror with a towel or sheet can help as well.
Tumblr media
I’m sure there’s more than this but this is just what I usually do to keep things fresh when I don’t have the energy to shower T-T
Feel free to drop more tips in the comments / ask box if you have any! 🤍🤍🤍

Let’s talk Health
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So guys, i am turning 29 in a month and let’s be real my body is not what it used to be! Despite me working out 4times a week, fasting, and paying attention to what i eat, i can feel my body weakening in way. Not that i don’t feel healthy but I’m still having some back pain, less energy, and just like feeling my body more. And that is normal.
20 years old me and 30 years old me wont be the same! There are things that we need to do to keep up so we maintain our best self. My body wont be producing all the collagen that i use too, likes guys i can hear my BONESSS! And I’m telling that is is not giving!
After a bit a research, i realized that i was lacking nutrient that my body could not produced on it’s own or way less!
So here a list of Nutrients we need as bad gyals hitting our 30s, especially as black women
1. Vitamin D 🌞
Why? Black women are more likely to have vitamin D deficiency due to melanin reducing sun absorption. Low levels can affect bone health, immunity, and mood.
Sources: Sun exposure (15–30 mins/day), fatty fish (salmon, mackerel), fortified foods (milk, orange juice), and supplements (2,000 IU daily if deficient).
2. Iron 💪🏾
Why? Many Black women experience iron deficiency, which can lead to fatigue, hair thinning, and anemia.
Sources: Lean meats, beans, lentils, spinach, tofu, fortified cereals. Pair with vitamin C (oranges, peppers) to boost absorption.
3. Magnesium 🧘🏾‍♀️
Why? Supports stress management, sleep, muscle function, and heart health. Many people don’t get enough.
Sources: Nuts, seeds, whole grains, dark leafy greens, dark chocolate.
4. Calcium 🦴
Why? Helps prevent osteoporosis, which Black women are at higher risk for later in life.
Sources: Dairy, leafy greens, almonds, fortified plant-based milks.
5. Omega-3 Fatty Acids 🧠
Why? Supports heart, brain, and joint health while reducing inflammation.
Sources: Salmon, sardines, walnuts, flaxseeds, chia seeds, omega-3 supplements.
6. B Vitamins (Especially B12 & Folate) ⚡
Why? Helps with energy, brain function, and red blood cell production.
Sources: Eggs, fish, meat, leafy greens, fortified grains, and B-complex supplements if needed.
7. Collagen & Vitamin C ✨
Why? Supports skin, hair, nails, and joint health.
Sources: Bone broth, citrus fruits, bell peppers, berries, collagen supplements.
8. Fiber & Probiotics 🥗
Why? Supports gut health, digestion, and weight management.
Sources: Whole grains, beans, vegetables, yogurt, kefir, and fermented foods.
9. Zinc & Selenium 💁🏾‍♀️
Why? Supports immune function, hair health, and thyroid balance.
Sources: Shellfish, nuts, seeds, Brazil nuts, and meat.
Supplement Recommendations:
Multivitamin for Women (with iron, D, and B vitamins)
Vitamin D3 (if deficient)
Omega-3 Fish Oil
Magnesium Glycinate (for stress & sleep)
Probiotic (for gut health)
Hope this helps my lovesss, until next time
