Rouguine Rosepierre the spring eladrin wizard (Enchantment)

Sang the changeling wizard (Blood)

Born and raised in the Feywild, Sang the changeling spent much of their childhood enjoying the wondrous whimsies of their home plane. They played tricks and pulled pranks with their innate ability to shapeshift, but became interested in the powers of enchantment used by their fey kin. They decided to enroll in the finest institution in their home plane to study the magic of charm, deceit, and manipulation for themselves. However, although Sang originally wanted to sharpen their mischievous skills, an opportunity opened up when they became aware of a secret club within their school, one who hoped to use Sang's abilities to their assistance. The changeling soon learned why the club existed in the first place: the ruler of their home court planned on ruling not just their court, but all of the Feywild with an iron fist. The ruler planned on using forbidden blood magic but had yet to master it, and with members of the school's secret club infiltrating royal ranks, they hoped to become experts of the same magic to defeat them before it was too late. Along with their new allies, Sang practiced blood magic alongside their normal scholarly studies. Even after graduating as wizards, the secret group continued to be private and inconspicuous. Some members even made alternate identities, with Sang creating Rouguine Rosepierre the spring eladrin to act as him. Unfortunately, when royal spies and assassins learned of the secret group, chaos arrived with them. Some died, others were captured, but the rest - including Sang - frantically fled the Feywild. With hurriedly cast teleportation magic, Sang and their surviving allies separated from one another, with the changeling landing in the Material Plane. Now alone in a new land, Sang uses their alternate persona to survive as a charlatan, secretly hone their blood magic skills, and eventually return to the Feywild to do what they think is right.

Honestly loving playing in the Netherdeep campaign setting with my d&d group, especially with there being rival mechanics.

I did read the campaign setting before nagging my DM to DM it and now we're 6(?) sessions in and holy shit I love the lore.

The party consists of a Tiefling Blood Wizard, a Kenku Way of Astral Self Monk, and a Pallid Elf Moon Cleric that worships the Moonweaver (my character), all of our characters are Ruidisborn, and currently we've made it to Bazzoxan (yes we met Verin Thelyss) and are getting more information on the Jewel of Three Prayers but also trying to create relationships (platonic or romantic) with the rivals, slightly complicated for my elf since I asked my DM, initially as a joke, if her and Galsariad could be exes

I wanted to incorporate some of Gale's original design and lores. So, I added some infection to his skin and bandages. I wanted to show the netherese orb visibly rotting him from the inside.

This is so fucking funny. Xue Yang killed the Chang Clan before Sunshot in this canon. Jiang Cheng and Lan Wangji both heard him admit to killing them. Nie Huaisang and Jin Guangyao himself were on the scene soon after. There are MULTIPLE WITNESSES other than Chang Ping. No wonder Mingjue's losing his entire mind right now.
