During a little walk in the forest with her son, Kára found an injured sparrow lying on the ground. To help the little bird from the inevitable fate, Kára took the bird to bring it to their care to recover its injury.

She also took the opportunity to teach her son a life lesson... which he totally paid attention to.

Dutiful in her role as right-hand man, Nat made her name among the magic folk as a zealot and merciless in her dealings with them.

Titles that followed her as she went deeper and deeper on her path of power. Once shown an opportunity for revenge, the temptation was too strong, and she tried seizing it.

Only to be betrayed by her teacher, Angor Rot. Having plunged her petrified wooden sword into her ribs, she stands frozen in stone. Having felt responsible for his students' path after she left his teachings.

Now, having been petrified into stone, she stands forever frozen in time. A remnant of a time long since past, left as a foot note in both magic and history. Until she made her way to the museum of aracdia as a statue of her kingdom's exhibit. Now, waiting for someone to pluck the knife from her ribs.

The Heartstone's gift...

Or curse?

After decades of rot, a newborn whelp was the only thing left from the trollkind's first Heartstone. It provoked superstitions, believed to be cursed and cause bad luck if left alive. To many, getting rid of it would have been the desired decision, but a troll couple whose own birthstone never began to create life, was eager to step in and claim the newborn as their own, raising it as their son.

But was the outcome worth it..?

Calling all Tales of Arcadia fans with ocs! I have a character development challenge.

The iconic piece that plays in Trollhunters s1 ep12, s2 ep13, and Rise of the Titans (resisting the urge to gag) is None Shall Live, by Two Steps from Hell, on the Battlecry album. (I think most of us already know that tbh lol)

Now imagine your oc lived through Trollhunters in Jim's place. The challenge is to listen thru the Battlecry album and tell me which piece would be playing instead of None Shall Live during intense Trollhunters scenes if it were your oc instead of Jim. Reblog with your selection and any reasons you might have, if you have them- and tag your friends with ToA ocs! :3
