Bruce and Clark swapping sons, specifically Damian and Jonathan. Shenanigans ensue!

Clark has had to put Damian on one of those kiddie backpack leashes just to keep him contained. It's a little monkey one that Damian has manged to slip out of no less than 6 times so he could go "deliver justice" (beat up petty thief's and muggers). Unlike Jon, Damian has no weaknesses besides being physically overpowered and Clark would rather be shot with Kyrptonite bullets than have Damian be pissed off that he's being treated like a kid (even tho he is one).

Bruce is having no easier a time with Jon. When a Kyrptonian is a fan of yours and also only about 9 years old, they're hyperactive as shit and get in the way a lot. Bruce can't even threaten the boy with Kyrptonite cuz Jon is his best friends son and the poor kid is trying so hard to be helpful. Failing, but trying. Jon has accidentally allowed the Riddler to get away twice now because he so badly wants to help solve the riddle, and it keeps slowing Bruce down.

Story where Jason and Dick get into a fight (both are young) and Jason goes to Bruce like this "Hey, b, remember you said you'll replace anything i broke"

"Did you break your gameboy?"

"Nah, but my brother is not brothering right so i want a new one"

And Bruce doesn't know what to say to that, but a few hours after they go to a gala and at some point, little Jason comes back again "B, b!"

"Yes, Jay?"

"Remember what i said about wanting a new brother"

" yes...?"

"I want this one" He says, holding little Tim by the armpits

AU that the batkids are all serious and bat-like ONLY WHEN BATMAN ISN’T AROUND

Like when they’re on their own team/out of Gotham? Most respected, calm and serious person there. They have a plan and it will work. “Oh yeah I memorized all the exits and people here the second I entered, you didn’t?” That’s them.

But in Gotham w/ Batman? Pranks galore and singing on patrol, they forget to sleep and forget to eat. When Batman tells them their gonna have a longer patrol they all sigh and complain while trying to give other siblings their work in exchange for doing that sibling’s chore.

But nobody knows that they act like that!! Batman would say something like

“Gosh my kids blew something up I have to go,”

AND EVERYONE WHOSE EVER MET THEM IS ALL CONFUSED LIKE “BUT THEIR A BAT?!?! HUH??!”

and Batman would respond

“Oh yeah you know them, always doing something their not supposed to”

JL: “NO?!”

You know what I need more of? The Batkids completely fucking with the Justice League and their rogues and coming up with stories for their existence.

Like I am talking about the creation of demigods sort of stories, like Loki sort of stories.

Duke has convinced all of Gotham that he's the Bat Signal brought to life and that's why he's never seen at night and why the signal literally doesn't work during the day. He's waiting giddily for the story to spread outside of the city.

The batkids have convinced half the League that Nightwing is quite literally Batman's lovechild with Justice. Hey, Constantine had a one night stand with the manifestation of a city and they've dealt with gods before, so surely it's not that surprising? Right???

I need more of the Batkids being little shits, of Alfred the-greatest-enabler Pennyworth backing them up and Bat(the-biggest-troll)man to never confirm the stories, but he doesn't deny them either.

I'm really excited to do this comic because, I think the little prince is a story everyone knows as kids and, to be honest, it was one of the first books I read because I WANTED to.

I really like Jason and Damian, so why not writing a comic about them, am I right? 🤓✋

i like to think that the Arkham rec room has little busy work activities for the patients. most of them you could find in an elementary school until Riddler was admitted, then they had to start providing calculus and trig worksheets lol

Bruce tries to figure out why his kids tend to fall asleep when they're under his cape, because it's been happening since Dick was Robin and twice with Jason could be a coincidence, but it's still happening by the time Damian arrives, so there has to be something there

It's the weight? They do like they weighted blankets, but that doesn't seem to be it

He's doing experiments, anything but asking, really-

And it's not like they'd actually tell him that the real reason it's not the cape itself, but the fact that to be covered by it they're being carried by him

They're being hold by their dad, and can hide into the little darkness that it makes, making a little warm, safe, comfortable place because of the man who's wearing the cape

Most of the kids cried upon realizing this, they hadn't felt like that in a long time, or ever before

But since then, it was always a nice thing for them, no matter how big they got

Dick had tried to forget about it when he fought with Bruce, but the first time he had to be carried around after patrol together again, it was still there

Jason had almost actually forgotten when he came back, and by the time he was in good terms with B, he definitely was too big for it, right? Wrong, when they got attacked with fear gas and he was the last to be able to get out of it, he found himself in that same old warm place

Tim felt wrong about it at first, not his place, like everything, he remainded himself, but as time went on, he found himself craving for it sometimes, to an embarassing point where Bruce will just start opening his cape to him every. Night. Not that Tim will say no to it. Bruce does that to him, it's almost a routine by now

Cass and Damian have always liked to hide in there for "surprise factor" but if they stay in for longer, and Bruce knows they'll doze off, it's not a problem either

It gets a bit hard when it happens at the same time though

It was one of the first things they all did when Bruce was back from the time stream, a nice way to process the idea that he was back with them-
