Fae Dick meeting Talon Dick. How do you think that would go?

Fae!Dick would take one look at Talon!Dick and know. Know he’s unnatural. Wrong. Not in the way fae!dick is wrong, but something… something isn’t right with him. Somehow there’s an air of nothing about him. Like the world tries to shrink away from talon!dick, like the absolute absence of natural life.

He knows this version of himself got twisted from something human to something that is human-adjacent only in the vaguest sense of the word.

And he doesn’t like it.

Talon!dick would have a similar epiphany, but more in a “this guy is dangerous” sense. Dangerous enough to be a threat to them all. To Jason.

And… well, we all know talon!dick doesn’t take kindly to that last part lol.

I think they’d end up attacking each other because they perceive the other as a THREAT (all in caps). And it would take Talon!Dick’s Jason to stop it and at least one of fae!dick’s family.

something about the parallels between magnus burnsides and luz noceda being overly willing to put their lives in danger for their friends to the point of it being basically suicidal (and these feelings are related to the death of a loved one). and their storylines culminating in them deciding that they want to stay alive, to live for the people they love instead of die for them. and the journey to this realization involving them temporarily kind of dying.

So I got home and started cleaning. And then I just Kept cleaning. Bc my brain was being marvelously cooperative

I stopped to do therapy, then I showered and ate, and... *wow* I think I overextended myself, especially since I didn't sleep that well last night. My head. Hurts. Enough to make me nauseous. So I am taking it easy. Gonna try to take a nap. A bit of shuteye would benefit me, either way.

And then I'll have to write this essay exam. But first. I need my brain to be in less pain so it will work. Lol.

Is there a particular chapter you'd like to redo ? Either in terms of art, or how it was written?

Im currently redoing the first chapter, to update the character designs.

If I had the time, I’d like to update a lot of the art, mostly just little updates because I feel like ive finally figured out how to draw cat muzzles and there are a lot of panels all the way through that look a bit wonky lol

But that’s the way of comicing! It is also fun to see the improvement as you read, so I’m not too worried ^^

As for writing, there is a scene I wish I had added in an earlier Thresher chapter, but didnt due to not having the energy to deal with the potential harassment. It would have have just been a little cute scene with Hake and Trout playing leader and hake declaring he’ll be the king, not understanding why it was preferable to him. It was all scripted and ready to go, i wasn’t in the best head space at the time though and I was already getting quite a bit of transphobic messages at the time despite how subtle hakes transness was. Making up for that now with future scenes, fuck subtlety, the block button is freeing

And I’m sure there are other bits Id rewrite here and there, but they don’t pop out to me atm
