Bakhmut, Ukraine
Two years ago, this was a well-to-do city of 70,000, a Ukrainian regional center.
It was well known for the Hotel Atlantic many people use to stay at. Many also loved a very good sushi bar called Izumi at Bakhmut's central square.
It was a city of coffee shops, soccer stadiums, flower beds, fountains, and a famous local sparkling wine brand.
Now see what Russia has turned it into.
It's now a giant grave that will never see any life again.

«They fought for Bakhmut and performed a feat that prevented the enemy from advancing further into our East. Each of them is a hero of our state.
Among those who are being returned from captivity, many were considered missing. The relatives of these people went through a difficult stage,» - the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The russian army launched a targeted attack on the office of the Swiss🇨🇭 charitable foundation FSD in Kharkov🇺🇦. This fund is engaged in demining areas.
Another deliberate blow to civilians, and also to an international humanitarian organization.

“The unarmed and captive Ukrainian soldier who defiantly declared "Glory to Ukraine" before being gunned down in cold blood is fast becoming a symbol of Ukrainian resistance to Russia's unprovoked, genocidal invasion.”
The invaders shoot the captive with the words: “So you bitch. Die, bitch.”
A horrifying video of the execution of a Ukrainian soldier who was captured by the Russian occupiers appeared on the Internet. In the published footage, you can clearly see that the defender of Ukraine is unarmed.
President Zelensky's speech this evening: "Today, a video has emerged of the occupiers brutally killing a warrior who bravely said to their faces: 'Glory to Ukraine!'.
In the recording, the fighter stands quite calmly and smokes, a voice behind the frame says: “Take him down.” In the last moments of his life, a Ukrainian prisoner utters “Glory to Ukraine!”. After that, an automatic burst sounds, the bloodied defender falls.
The Office of the President has already reacted to the video of the shooting of the defender of Ukraine by the invaders and wrote:
“War crimes are cultivated in Russia. And whitewashed by their propaganda and myths about ‘Nazis’. The killing of a person who was captured is another example of this.”
