There is a big difference between a Jewish person making a joke about antisemitism and a non-Jew making an antisemitic joke. Some Jewish people cope with humor, sometimes dark humor. I’d go as far as to say that it’s probably part of our culture at this point. But there’s a big difference between Jews making jokes about being treated with suspicion and hatred and goyim making an antisemitic joke about us. One is a way of coping with our shared experience with antisemitism and making fun of antisemites beliefs; the other is punching down. I feel like I really shouldn’t need to explain this, but with the state of things, I guess I do.

Invalidating others for their trauma, shared views or not is never fucking ok

It’s especially not fucking ok under ANY circumstances to tell someone that they should

KYS or much less don’t fucking say someone deserves or deserved to be SA’d , it’s not fucking cool it ain’t fucking cute and it’s especially not “morally correct” you don’t get a pass just cause you believe to be of higher standing than them

It goes without saying that internet drama should never be reason enough to tell a survivor that their trauma was deserved proship or not

Honestly, I absolutely love the idea of the yellow thing from Into The Pit just treating Oswald like his son with no malicious intent. It's also kinda gotten me thinking about something else. What if the yellow thing turned good? Like, due to how it was being treated like it's Oswald's dad by his mom and stuff. What if that made it go soft? Like it actually started to care for Oswald and his mom and maybe even for the other humans??? I know that last part is a bit of a stretch, but still. And imagine it started to care for Oswald and his family so much that it regretted its actions and helped Oswald get his real dad back. I don't know where it would go from there. Maybe it would just return to wherever the hell it came from, idk. It's just a silly little idea that's been sitting in my head ever since the Into The Pit game released.

They literally “found” Luke’s reflection in a glass on that table… that shipping is never going to die.

Some of them seem to think he and Nic are about to have a baby for God’s sake, it’s genuinely bizarre.

It's insane. They see what they want to see, and completely disregard reality and what Luke and Nicola are saying/showing. Which is that they aren't together.

Complete cult mentality also, because the level of denial is unreal. Imo it's dangerous and sharing this stuff publicly will only lead to further silence from Nic and Luke, but well. It's not the first time people had lost their marbles and refused to face the reality.

I will never understand men like Neil. Like you spend your whole career writing stories about fantastical worlds and beautiful characters that are loved by generations of people. And yet you commit these monstrous acts behind the scenes. He knows what he did is wrong (why else immediately disappear from the Internet) and now it is his legacy forever. People like that, people who exist in places where they can lord power over those are so obsessed with their image and legacy, to throw everything you built publicly is so odd.

I say this more as a psychological fascination rather than a moralistic one, because obviously fuck him rotting in hell isn't enough punishment. But to see someone so obsessed with power throw his legacy away to abuse those under him is just. His legacy will forever be his evil acts and not the stories he crafted over the years.

thinking about ronette and how overlooked she tends to be. being isolated while doing sex work, laura most likely leaned on ronette when she needed someone to talk to. since donna and laura weren't on speaking terms for a while, and bobby was already aware of what she was doing with leo and jacques but didn't want to talk about it, ronette was most likely the one she confided in. secrets passed between the two that only they would understand, given their shared line of work. they clearly had a connection, i wouldn't even doubt for a second that ronette probably even had a crush on laura. would've probably been reciprocated too, laura did express she had an attraction to her in her diary. either way, they were close. then the night of the murder happened. ronette is bound behind laura. they're both intoxicated with a combination of drugs and alcohol, but still able to grasp the gravity of the situation the both of them are in. it's so sudden, so violent, she doesn't know if either of them are going to see tomorrow. before she passes out from the beatings shes taken, ronette has to witness as the one girl she found solace in is stabbed to death. her screams ring in her ears and her memory. the blood running down her face, eyes wide, the man screaming with every downward swing. all until her body stops moving. when she awakens, she's in a hospital, family in the other room waiting for her. there's a man, an fbi agent she learns, asking her questions...about laura. ronette can't answer, it's all too much for her mind to handle. she does try to warn the man to not proceed, "don't go there", there's danger waiting for him if he tries. her recovery is slow and plagued with nightmares of laura on the train that final night. flashes of the man, the knife, the blood, the screaming. forever replaying the worst moment of her life. if only she were still alive, if only they could press their foreheads together again. she misses her warmth, her airy laugh and smile, how beautiful she looked in the pink room. their embraces always left her wanting more. if only she'd said something before, maybe things would be different. now she'll never see that bright head of blonde hair ever again. there's a void in ronette pulaski's heart that's shaped like laura palmer and it will haunt her for the rest of her life.
