Elliot and Axel facts! (Basically facts about their ship dynamic)

#1 They met when they were four

#2 At first Elliot was caught of guard by Axel (Mf landed in his backyard after crash landing from the stars.)

#3 Axel wasn't able to register Elliot distance towards him and just followed him around

#4 Elliot gave Axel a rag cat as a way to distract him (Axel still has it to this day)

#5 Axel literally had a crush on Elliot since the start

#6 Elliot soon realized Axel wasn't leaving anytime soon

#7 Axel wore a dress that Elliot had bought him proudly for four years

#8 They bonded by going into the forest and climbing trees

#9 Axel has always been an instigator, (At one point when they were 7 Elliot had to keep him on a child leash.)

#10 Despite Axel being older by six months Elliot beats him in height (Around seven inches taller)

#11 Elliot always got Axel out of the principle's office

#12 Their dynamic is basically: Watching from afar but not to far cause they're always by each other but one won't make eye contact

#13 To this day, they still remember inside jokes from when they first met

#14 Axel can't cook for shit so Elliot has to cook always

#15 Axel can do sad puppy eyes and he takes advantage of them whenever Elliot is annoyed at him

#16 Axel is so fucking clingy

#17 Elliot read a shit ton of romance books trying to figure out how to work out a relationship

#18 Their relationship dynamic is also: "He asked for no pickles" And then Axel is just standing there with sad puppy dog eyes

#19 They've seen each others cringey phases. All. Of. Them

#20 They have like thirty plant babies in their room

explanations:

I do not need to explain what burn is or why Axel has it

Marluxia is bleed because blood and flowers are linked a whole lot in this game; it's also associated with lust and Marluxia's got that lust for power

Tremor is weird, it's associated with sloth and rocks and is about staggering your opponent easier. there's lots of flavors of it that debuff in different ways but basically more tremor -> the the higher you can raise the stagger threshold -> the faster the opponent will get staggered. the threshold gets raised by "bursting" tremor, which is usually just hitting them very hard with blunt damage, which Lexaeus is great at

Luxord gets T Corp's time bullshit because he is the time guy

Xemnas is rupture because his associated status effect in 358/2 Days makes it so that damage is inflicted with no regard for your defense stat, which is pretty much what rupture does

Vexen is also rupture because idk there's no ice type status and he seems like the analytical type to try to cut through specific defenses

Sinking makes your opponent depressed (and therefore less likely to roll high) but Demyx really just has it because it's the water one. I guess his music could be demoralizing? Having to kill 100 water clones super fast is demoralizing

Saix is poise because in Days mission mode both his crit stats are 10/10 and that's what poise does

Xaldin is poise because symbolically it's about, like, catching your breath or whatever? Wind. Also it's associated with the pride sin and he has that !

Xigbar is charge because... idk. maybe I'm just thinking about Dimension Shredder. I feel like his teleporting would be translated into haste on self, and most IDs with haste are either poise or charge, and he just feels more like a charge guy. of course it could be both but I'm sorting here

Larxene is also someone with haste but she also has electricity so yeah charge

Zexion is "random bullshit go" because every game where he has a moveset changes that moveset to something completely different and then his special attack is throwing meteors at you. he can do anything

Roxas isn't here because he's meant to be the basic and balanced character in Days and would not have an archetype

You’ll have to excuse me though I quite literally got my wisdom teeth removed the 15th. So im still in early recovery. Though I’ve only been here since v13 this game has quickly became near and dear to my heart so I wanted to do something, even if it’s not my best work or even on time. Here’s to many more years of rejuvenation!
