[Arsh-e-Azim Highest Sky, Place of throne of Allah]
* * * *
John Keats in a letter to his brother on the World as a "Vale of Soul making"
“The common cognomen of this world among the misguided and superstitious is ‘a vale of tears’ from which we are to be redeemed by a certain arbitrary interposition of God and taken to Heaven.
What a little circumscribed straightened notion! Call the world if you please “The Vale of Soul-making”. Then you will find out the use of the world (I am speaking now in the highest terms for human nature admitting it to be immortal which I will here take for granted for the purpose of showing a thought which has struck me concerning it). I say ‘Soul making’ Soul as distinguished from an Intelligence - there may be intelligences or sparks of the divinity in millions - but they are not Souls till they acquire identities, till each one is personally itself. …
I can scarcely express what I but dimly perceive - and yet I think I perceive it - that you may judge the more clearly I will put it in the most homely form possible - I will call the world a School instituted for the purpose of teaching little children to read - I will call the human heart the hornbook (note: a hornbook is a single-sided alphabet tablet, which served from medieval times as a primer for study, and sometimes included vowel combinations, numerals or short verse) used in that School - and I will call the Child able to -read, the Soul made from that School and its hornbook. Do you not see how necessary a World of Pains and troubles is to school an Intelligence and make it a Soul? A Place where the heart must feel and suffer in a thousand diverse ways! Not merely is the Heart a Hornbook, It is the Mind's Bible, it is the Mind's experience, it is the teat from which the Mind or intelligence sucks its identity. As various as the Lives of Men are, so various become their Souls, and thus does God make individual beings, Souls, Identical Souls of the Sparks of his own essence…”

Persian translation of the Ring Poem by J. R. R. Tolkien (by me)
Here is my take at translating the Ring Poem from english to persian, hope it will arouse your interest !
If you are interested by the process and my notes, it will be below it all.
English
Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all. One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
Transliteration in latin script

haft vâse-ye arbâbhâ-ye dvarfi tu-ye otâq-e sang,
noh vâse-ye ensânhâ-ye fâni mahkum be marg,
yek vâse-ye arbâb-e târik bar sarir-e târikesh,
dar estân-e mordor kojâ sâyehâ mikhazand.

dar estân-e mordor kojâ sâyehâ mikhazand.
I hope you will like it :) if you like the topic, you can keep reading
My process and few interesting notes
Of rhymes, rhythm, and word choice
As it can be seen, I managed to make the second quatrain have quite perfect enclosed rhymes ! A thing I could not successfully replicate in the first one… or could I ?
The first and forth verse are the problem — although both 3 syllables, and cretics as per my prononciation (kept the second e in esemân specifically for that effect) ; so quite rhythmically pleasant. But it was too close to perfection to let it pass. Even if the idea of the only two words not rhyming being the sky of the Elves and the darkness of Sauron’s throne was dramatically fortunate, even quite brilliant. But it was not by my doing, only chance’s ; so it was important to me to add brilliance intentionally, by making it rhyme all the way.
My first idea was to change the word for dark, تاریکش (târikesh) into ویران (virân), making it then :
se halqe vâse-ye pâdishâh-e elfi taht-e âs(e)mân,
haft vâse-ye arbâbhâ-ye dvarfi tu-ye otâq-e sang,
noh vâse-ye ensânhâ-ye fâni mahkum be marg,
yek vâse-ye arbâb-e târik bar sarir-e virân,
It was a fine solution, but that had problems still.
Firstly, the -esh in تاریکش (târikesh) is the possessive suffix, part of the bigger nominal group سریر تاریکش (sarir-e târikesh), meaning “his dark throne” (lit. throne dark his) ; hence the -esh. If I was to use the word ویران (virân), that possession was no more, making it mean “the dark throne”, which was okay-ish (ahah, get it?), but not literal.
Furthermore, ویران (virân) means more “desolate”, “ruined” than dark” ; it could mean something, like a “dark world”, but it wasn’t literally because it was dark. But desolate was fine ! Mordor is quite it, given how it’s described.
Note how I wrote this time âsemân with parentheses, âs(e)mân, pronounced then âsmân — both are equally said — to match the metric of virân. A nice touch, but no possession.
I wanted the possession.
My second idea was to change the word for sky, آسمان (âsemân) into عرش (‘arsh), making it then :
se halqe vâse-ye pâdishâh-e elfi taht-e ‘arsh,
haft vâse-ye arbâbhâ-ye dvarfi tu-ye otâq-e sang,
noh vâse-ye ensânhâ-ye fâni mahkum be marg,
yek vâse-ye arbâb-e târik bar sarir-e târikesh,
As easily guessed, it had problems.
The first problem was both one… and a genius play on words. For عرش (‘arsh) means sky but in a metaphorical manner, think throne of God type of sky meaning. Which was a problem, and a miracle. Alluding to earthly religions is always risky for translations, in my opinion ; too much connotation, interfering with the translation itself. But, at the same time, it was fun. The parallel between the “throne” of the Elves (or maybe Eru Ilúvatar’s one ?) and the throne of Sauron. Good vs evil is always neat, especially when speaking of Tolkien !
Another issue was the fact that the rhymes were poorer than before, rhymes still, but poor.
A good point was the fact that we kept the possession. Important point, of course.
Of my process and sources
This part will be quick, I promise.
I mostly used Glosbe, not that much for words (well, I used it to find عرش (‘arsh) or ویران (virân), to be fair) but more to have access to its corpuses, diving into the open subtitles of the Lord of the Rings movies. I didn’t want to copy-paste the already made translations, but I used it up has a way to see how they prism through they translated english. It was interesting. Used the french ones, too.
Yes, because last of all, persian in not my mother tongue, neither is english. French is, so excuse my “frenchism” if it occurs.
If you are a persian speaker, any notes or thoughts are more than welcome ! Please, enlighten me. Know that I tried my best and do as best I could, given my knowledge, my guts, and my sources.

Al-Hafidh Abu Nasr as-Sijzi -may Allah have mercy upon him- said in his book “Al-Ibanah ”:
“Our Imams such as Sufyan ath-Thawri, Malik Bin Anas, the two Hammads (Hammad Bin Salamah and Hammad Bin Zayd), Ibn Uyaynah, Ibn al-Mubarak, al-Fudayl bin Iyad, Ahmad bin Hanbal, and Ishaq Bin Rahaway are upon agreement that Allah is above al-Arsh (the Throne)
with his Dhat (essence) and His Knowledge is everywhere.”

Allah calls Himself Al-‘Aliy— The Most High, The Exalted — on eight occasions in the Quran. He’s the One Whose loftiness is both in His essence and in His attributes. Al-‘Aliy is above any imperfections, above the ‘Arsh (throne). Our minds are at a loss regarding His greatness and our intellect is incapable of conceiving His perfection!
The Most High, the One Above Everyone and Everything
Aliy comes from the root ayn-laam-waaw, which points to four main meanings. The first is to be high, lofty, and exalted and to ascend. The second main meaning is to overcome and overwhelm and the third to advance and exceed. The fourth main meaning is to be eminent.
This root appears 70 times in the Quran in fourteen derived forms. Examples of these forms are ta’aalaa (exalted is He), ta’aalaw (come), ista’laa (overcome), ‘uluwwan (haughtiness), and ‘illiyeen.
Linguistically, ‘uloow points to the attribute of loftiness, and a person is ‘alee when he is prominent. Al-‘Aliy, under whose control everything in existence is, is the Most High.
Al-‘Aliy Himself said: He is the Most High, the Great [Quran, 2:255] . . . judgment belongs to Allah, the High, the Great [Quran, 40:12], and … the Great, the Most High [Quran, 13:9].
Surah Al ‘Alaa– Your Lord, The Most High
Al-Musabbihaat are the surahs in the Quran that begin with the declaration (sabbaha) of the perfection of Allah. Of the musabbihaat, Surah Al-‘Alaa is the most beloved to the Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. He loved to recite this specific surah in every single Jumuah prayer and in both of the Eid prayers.
The first ayah is: sabbi hisma Rabbikal’alaa – Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High. There are many narrations of the companions radiyallahu ‘anhum, including those of ‘Ali, that whenever the Prophet heard this ayah he would say: Subhana Rabbi al-‘Alaa, Subhana Rabbi al’A’laa (Glory to my Lord, the Most High). When this first ayah was revealed the Prophet said: Put it in your sujood. Thus in every sujood of our prayer we use this version of Rabb (Lord), by saying: Subhana Rabbi, al ‘Alaa.
The rising of good deeds
Our good words and deeds rise up through the heavens to Allah Al-‘Aliy. The Messenger of Allah said: Those who remember Allah and glory Allah by saying, Glory be to Allah, Allah is most Great, all praise is due to Allah and La ilaha illallah, these words go around the Throne buzzing like bees, mentioning those who said them. Would one of you not like to have something with Allah mentioning him? [Ahmad, Ibn Majah]
Ali bin Abi Talib reported that Ibn Abbas said: The good word is the remembrance of Allah, may He be exalted, which is taken up to Allah, and the righteous deed is the performance of obligatory duties. Whoever remembers Allah when doing an obligatory duty, his deed carries his remembrance of Allah and takes it up to Allah, may He be exalted. Whoever remembers Allah and does not perform the obligatory duties, his words will be rejected, as will his deed. [Tafsir Ibn Katheer]
So remember— words and actions!
How Can You Live by This Name?
1. Be humble.
Among the good manners adorning a believer is submission before the glory of Al-‘Aliy. Train yourself to submit to Him, and place no one or nothing above Him in your daily life. Fight your desires and train yourself to show patience and gratitude in all situations to please Al-‘Aliy. The Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: Whoever humbles himself before Allah, Allah will elevate him. [Muslim]
2. Increase your sujood.
When are we closest to the highest? When we are in sujood, the lowest position we can be in! The Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam taught us: Prostrate much because there is no Muslim that prostrates to Allah except that Allah raises him one degree in Paradise by it and forgives for him a sin. [Ahmad] The more you prostrate, the more you raise your ranks in paradise insha’Allah, until you reach the highest level, Jannat Al-Firdaws (Paradise). This is where the Prophet will be. And the roof of this particular level is the throne of Al-‘Aliy!
Make sure you don’t just prostrate with your body, but also with a heart full of humility.
3. Have many good deeds rising to Al-‘Aliy.
Say a lot of subhanAllah, alhamdulillah, Allahu akbar, and la ilaha illAllah combined with your obligatory deeds.
4. Make use of the third part of the night.
Al-‘Aliy descends to the lowest heaven each night; make use of this time to ask, ask, and ask. The Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: The Lord descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the night remains and says: Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek My forgiveness, that I may forgive him? [Al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]
5. Call upon Al-‘Aliy.
Call upon Al-‘Aliy, using this beautiful name in your dua’, and ask Him with the highest aspirations for the highest Paradise without reckoning!
6. Say subhanahu wa ta’alaa.
Make it a habit to say ‘subhanahu wa ta’alaa’ (glorified and exalted is He) when you mention Allah.
O Allah, Al-‘Aliy, we know that You are far above any imperfection. Help us to be humble, to fight our desires, and to never place anyone or anything above You. Make us increase our sujood with body and heart. Accept our good words and deeds and aid us to pray to you night and day. Elevate our ranks until we reach the highest Paradise, ameen!

Dua upon completing ablution #3

The prophet (may the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said: Who ever performed ablution completely, and upon completion of ablution says:
"How far from imperfections You are O Allah, and I praise You, I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn in repentance to You."
....it will be sealed with a signet, placed under the 'Arsh -the Throne-, and it wouldn't be broken until the day of Judgement.

🌷Du’aas at times of Calamity and Tribulations🌷
The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa sallam) used to seek refuge with Allaah a great deal from trials and tribulations, and would say:
“Seek refuge with Allaah from trials and tribulations, both visible and hidden.” (Muslim).
We should know these duaas and use them to seek refuge in Allaah when we are tested. Some of these are:
🌷1) Ibn ‘Abbaas radhi Allaahu anhu
said that the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa sallam) said:
“My Lord came to me tonight in the most beautiful form…” and in this hadeeth he said that Allaah said,
“O Muhammad, when you pray, then say:
‎اللهم إني أسألك فعل الخيرات ، وترك المنكرات ، وحب المساكين ، وأن تغفر لي وترحمني وتتوب علي ، وإن أردت بعبادك فتنة فاقبضني
‎إليك غير مفتون
‘Allaahumma inni as’aluka fi’l al-khayraat wa tark al-munkaraat, wa hubb al-masaakeen, wa an taghfira lee wa tarhamanee wa tatooba ‘alayya. Wa in aradta bi ‘ibaadika fitnatan, faqbidnee ilayka ghayra maftoon’
“O Allaah, I ask You (to enable me) to do good deeds and avoid evil deeds, and to love the poor, and (I ask You) to forgive me, have mercy on me and accept my repentance. If You will that some trial should befall Your slaves, then take me to You [i.e., cause me to die] without having subjected to that trial).”
(Tirmidhi- saheeh by al-Albaani)
Additionally, at the end of the hadeeth, the Prophet Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam said,
“Verily it is true so learn it and teach it.”“
🌷 2) Umm Salama radhi Allaahu anhaa said that the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa sallam) said:
“There is no Muslim who is afflicted with a calamity and says that which Allaah has enjoined...
“Innaa lillaahi wa inna ilayhi raaji’oon. Allaahumma ajurni fi museebati wakhluf li khayran minha”
“Verily to Allaah we belong and unto Him is our return. O Allaah, reward me for my calamity and compensate me with something better than it”
but Allaah will COMPENSATE him with something BETTER than it.”(Muslim)
🌷3) Ibn ‘Abbaas radhi Allaahu anhu said that the Messenger of Allaah (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa sallam) used to say at times of distress:
‎لا إله إلا الله العظيم الحليم ، لا إله إلا الله رب العرش العظيم ، لا إله إلا الله رب السموات ورب الأرض ورب العرش الكريم
“Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah al-‘Azeem al-Haleem, laa ilaaha ill-Allaah Rabb al-‘Arsh al-‘azeem, la ilaaha ill-Allaah Rabb ul-samawaati wa Rabb ul-ard wa Rabb ul-‘Arsh il-kareem”
“There is no god but Allaah, the All-Powerful, the Forbearing; there is no god but Allaah, Lord of the mighty Throne; there is no god but Allaah, Lord of heaven, Lord of earth, and Lord of the noble Throne.”
(al-Bukhaari, Muslim).
🌷 4) The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa sallam) said:
“Shall I not tell you of something that, if any worldly calamity or disaster befalls any man among you and he says these words, he will be relieved of it. (It is) the du’aa’ of Dhu’l-Noon:
‎لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين
“Laa ilaaha illa anta subhaanaka inni kuntu min al-zaalimeen
“None has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allaah), Glorified (and Exalted) be You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]! Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers.”
According to another report:
“No Muslim man says this du’aa’ concerning anything but Allaah will answer his prayer.”

“O Allaah, I am Your slave, son of Your slave, son of Your maidservant; my forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You have named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the Unseen with You, that You make the Qur’aan the life of my heart and the light of my breast, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety),’ but Allaah will take away his distress and grief, and replace it with joy.”
He was asked: “O Messenger of Allaah, should we learn this?”
He said: “Of course; everyone who hears it should learn it.”
(Ahmad- saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah)
May Allaah protect us all. Ameen

Tawheed - The first call of the Messengers
Allah is the only true God
Allah's indivisible unicity is Tawhid
Our Lord is Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.. Allah is unique, almighty, the only God. Allah is the only true Lord. There is no 'True Ilah'/ 'True Deity' except Allah. Allah is One, Unique in His Actions, Lordship, Authority, and Righteousness. Allah Ta'ala is Exalted above the throne in the sky (above all creation). Allah should be known by His beautiful name 'Asmaul Husna' and perfect attributes. Allah's name is more than 99. The Qur'an is the word of Allah. ultimate guidance for mankind.
Tawheed basically means  the Oneness of Allah. There is only 1 true God, and that is Allah. Tawhid is the indivisible oneness concept of monotheism in Islam. Tawhid is the religion's central and single most important concept, upon which a Muslim's entire religious adherence rests. It unequivocally holds that God in Islam is One and Sing #Tawheed  is made up of three parts: Tawhid means believing in Allah Alone as God and Lord & attributing to Him Alone all the attributes of Lordship and divinity. Tawhid is made up of 3 parts; Tawhid al-Rububiyyah (Oneness of Divine Lordship), Tawhid al-Uluhiyyah (Oneness of Divinity) &Tawheed al-Asma wa’l-Sifat (Oneness of Names and Attributes.
Allah's indivisible unicity is Tawhid
Tawhid: At the centre of all Islamic belief is the belief in one God-Allah. There is no other God but Allah and there is no one comparable to Him. We will never understand Allah as His nature supersedes our limited minds. We are created by Allah but He is not Himself created. Allah is the Unique,Omnipotent and Only Deity and Creator of the universe. Our Lord is Allah SWT. There is no 'True God' / 'True Deity' except Allah. Allah is Exalted Above His ‘Arsh (Mighty Throne’). Know Allah by His Most Beautiful Names & Lofty Attributes (Asma Was Sifat). Holy Qur'an is Allah's Word. Qur'an is final revelation & guidance for mankind.
Tawheed - The first call of the Messengers
#Tawheed is to knowing, believing, declaring, obeying the oneness and uniqueness of Allah. The Oneness of Allah i.e. Tawheed consists of three parts. (i) Tawheed ar-Rububiyyah (Maintaining the Oneness of Allah's Lordship). (ii) Tawheed al-Asma-Was-Sifat (Maintaining the Oneness of Allah's Names and Attributes). (iii) Tawheed al-Ibadah (maintaining unity of worship). Allah is the only 'true Lord'. In all matters related to Allah, Allah is One, Sole, Final, Perfect and without partners. He has no peer or equivalent. Allah is to be known by His most beautiful Names and Perfect Attributes. From the first man and the first Prophet Adam (a.s.) to the last Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, the basic call of all prophets and messengers was 'La ilaha illAllah' (there is no 'true God' but Allah). Namely: 'La Ilaha IllAllah Adamu Shafiullah'', 'La Ilaha IllAllah Nuhun Naziullah'', 'La Ilaha IllAllah Ibrahim Khalilullah', 'La Ilaha IllAllah Muhammadur Rasulullah'. Rejecting Taghut is the root of Tawheed.
Allah's indivisible unicity is Tawhid
#Allah #Tawheed #Tauhid #LAILAHAILLALLAH #Monorheism #Allah'sUniqueness #Tawhid: At the centre of all Islamic belief is the belief in one God-Allah.
This was the first call of every prophet, to spread the message of Tawheed and to censure shirk i.e. associating partners with Allaah. Allaah the Most High said, “And Verily, We have sent among every ummah (nation) a messenger (saying) “Worship Allah (alone) and avoid Taghut (false deities) (Soorah an-Nahl 16:36).
From the first man and the first prophet Adam (peace be upon him) to the last prophet and the greatest messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) the main call of all prophets and messengers was ‘La ilaha illallah’ (there is no god but Allah). Namely: ‘La ilaha illallah Adamu Safiullah’, 'La ilaha illallah 'Nuhun Naziullah’’, 'La ilaha illallahu Ibrahim Khalilullah’, 'La ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah’.  Estublishing Allah’s Oneness/ Tawheed was the mission of all  prophets and messengers,'Not only prayers, nothing is of any value except Tawheed.
The Tawhid of the Prophets
Allaah, the Lord of all that exists sent prophets and messengers to every nation and every Prophet and Messenger called to the most fundamental and central belief of all religions which is to worship Allaah alone without associating any partners with Him.  This was the first call of every prophet, to spread the message of Tawheed and to censure shirk i.e. associating partners with Allaah. Allaah the Most High said,
“And Verily, We have sent among every ummah (nation) a messenger (saying) “Worship Allah (alone) and avoid Taghut (false deities) (Soorah an-Nahl 16:36).
And He the Most High said,
“And we did not send any messenger before you (O Muhammad) but we inspired him (saying) La ilaaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I (i.e. Allah)), so worship Me (alone and none else)” (Soorah al-Anbiya 21:25)
If we look at the prophets in the Quraan we will find all of them calling to Tawheed (the oneness of Allah) and reprimanding shirk (associating false partners with Allah).
The Message of Nuh (Noah) (Alayhis-Salaam)
“We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, “O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day.” (Soorah al-A’raaf 7:59)
“And We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them a thousand years minus fifty years, and the flood seized them while they were wrongdoers.” (Soorah al-Ankaboot 29:14)
The Message of Hud (Alayhis-Salaam)
“And to the ‘Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, “O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Then will you not fear Him?” (Soorah al-A’raaf 7:65)
The Message of Saaleh (Alayhis-Salaam)
“And to the Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih. He said, “O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. This is the she-camel of Allah [sent] to you as a sign. So leave her to eat within Allah’s land and do not touch her with harm, lest there seize you a painful punishment.” (Soorah al-A’raaf 7:73)
The Message of Shu’ayb (Alayhis-Salaam)
“And to [the people of] Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu’ayb. He said, “O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. So fulfil the measure and weight and do not deprive people of their due and cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. That is better for you, if you should be believers.” (Soorah al-A’raaf 7:85)
The Message of Ibrahim (Abraham) (Alayhis-Salaam)
And [We sent] Abraham, when he said to his people, “Worship Allah and fear Him. That is best for you, if you should know.” (Soorah al-Ankaboot 29:16)
And whilst censuring shirk (associating false deities with Allah) he said,
“You only worship, besides Allah, idols, and you produce a falsehood. Indeed, those you worship besides Allah do not possess for you [the power of] provision. So seek from Allah provision and worship Him and be grateful to Him. To Him you will be returned.” (Soorah al-Ankaboot 29:17)
The Message of Yusuf (Joseph) (Alayhis-Salaam)
“O [my] two companions of prison, are separate lords better or Allah, the One, the Prevailing? You worship not besides Him except [mere] names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority.”
“Legislation is not but for Allah. He has commanded that you worship not except Him. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.” (Soorah Yusuf 12:39-40)
The Message of Eesa (Jesus) (Alayhis-Salaam)
“They have certainly disbelieved who say, “Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary” while the Messiah has said, “O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.” Indeed, he who associates others with Allah – Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.” (Soorah al-Ma’idah 5:72)
The Message of the Leader Of The Prophets Muhammad (Sallalahu Alayhee Wasallam)
Similarly, Muhammad (Sallalahu Alayhee Wasallam) also made the call to this great message and it resonated in the Arab peninsula. He called the people to the worship of one eternal Allah alone without any partners and informed the people that associating partners with Allah was the greatest crime and oppression they could ever commit. He used different examples and methods to explain this important belief and the Soorah’s revealed in Makkah show this.
It has been reported in the hadeeth by Rabee’a bin E’baad (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) who said, “I saw the Messenger of Allah with my eyesight in the market of Dhul-Majaaz saying, “Oh people, say: there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah so that you may achieve success.” He would enter market places and the people would gather around him and I never saw a single person say anything to him (i.e. answer him back) and he (i.e. the Messenger of Allah) would not remain silent and would say “Oh people, say there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah so that you are successful.” (Ahmad 3/2-3, New edition 25/404 no 16023, Ahaad wal-Mathaanee 2/208 of Ibn Abee Aasim, Mu’ajam al-Kabeer 5/61 of Tabaraanee, Haakim 1/165, Majma’a az-Zawaa’id 6/125)
The First Message of the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu Alayhee Wasallam) and Teaching His Nation To Start With The Same Message
The first call and message to the people is the call of the Oneness of Allah and this is the same message to the Muslims today. This great message is so important and central to the Muslims belief, it is by default the first call and message people should be informed about.
Ibn Abbaas (RadhiAllaahu Anhuma) narrates, “When the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu Alayhee Wasallam) sent Muadh Ibn Jabal (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) to Yemen he said to him “You are going to the people of the book, so let the first thing you call them to be the testification that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah (and in another narration, that they should single Allah out with all worship)” (Saheeh Bukhaari no. 7372)
In another report it says, “You are going to a nation of the people of the book, when you reach them call them to testify that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah and Muhammad is his Messenger.” (Saheeh Bukhaari no.1469)
So we find the call and message of all the Prophets was Tawheed and it was the first message and this shows its importance and it being crucial as a fundamental and central belief. This is shown by the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalahu Alayhee Wasallam) telling his companion to tell the people of the book the importance of Tawheed and to censure shirk. After accepting the call of Tawheed many years later these nations started to worship other deities such as the Jews saying Uzair is the son of Allah and the Christians saying Eesa is the son of Allah and so they started worshipping them whilst claiming to believe in the oneness of Allah and rejecting shirk.
Allah the Most High says,
“Say, “O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is just between us and you – that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah.” But if they turn away, then say, “Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].” (Soorah Ale-Imraan 3:64)
So the saying “come to a word that is just between us and you” clearly shows that they claimed and uttered the belief of Tawheed i.e. the Jews and Christians would say we believe in one Allah and we censure shirk and do not associate partners with him but in practise they would associate partners with him.
Allah the most high said,
“They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah, and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.” (Soorah Taubah 9:31)
So we find even though they believed in Tawheed they were still engrossed in shirk.

الدُّعَاء عِنْدَ الْكَرْب
Supplication in times of hardship
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say at a time of distress,
La ilaha illal-lahu Rabbul-l-'arsh il-'azim, La ilaha illallahu Rabbu-s-samawati wa Rabbu-l-ard, Rabbu-l-'arsh-il-Karim.
None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, the Tremendous One, the Forebearing.
None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, the Rubb of the tremendous Throne.
None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, the Rubb of the heavens, and the Rubb of the earth, and the Rubb of the honourable Throne.
(Sahih al-Bukhari 6346)

Al-Kursi (The Chair)
The chair is a mark of pride. It's the chair that makes humans insane and mad. It's the chair that sheds the blood of humans. It's the chair that makes humans blind. It's the chair that gives humans the power to do all the evils they can to achieve that chair.
The chair also brings good for humanity, bring peace, justice & honesty. Unfortunately, the chair of power is abusing the whole of humanity from East to West globally, somewhere in the form of poverty, somewhere its racism, somewhere its pride, somewhere its hoarding, somewhere its land grabbing, somewhere its killing, torture, brutality, atrocity and oppression.
Allah shows His authority over this insane HUMAN CHAIR OF POWER. That's why there is only one verse that declares that Kursi ( The Power) belongs to Allah alone although there are many verses of Arsh (His Throne).
There is only one God, one Power, One Dominion, one Chair and one Ayatal-Kursi in Quran.

What is the most effective way of meditation for beginners according to Hinduism?
Although meditation is the foundation of Hindu spiritual practice it has been totally neglected and there are very few acharyas and guru that actually focus on teaching this practice. But it is our great good fortune that the Buddhists have preserved and technique and actively propagate it. So for beginners I suggest you join a vipassana mediation group in your local city to learn the basics.
The key text which deals with meditation is the Yoga sūtra of Maharishi Patanjali. Meditation is also addressed in the Gītā in the chapter entitled Dhyāna Yoga. What is termed “meditation’ in English has four stages, the preliminary of course being sitting in a comfortable posture (āsana) and practicing synchronicity of breathing (praṇāyāma).
pratyahāra — sitting in a comfortable posture with the spine erect one begins to withdraw one’s attention from external stimuli while paying attention the breath. Every time the mind wander you bring it back to the breath. One can also use a mantra like so-ham or even om-shanti to regulate the breath. The breath is connected to the mind so to quieten the mind one needs to regulate the breath.
dhāraṇa — means a focusing of the now quiet mind by using a mantra or any other device to center the thoughts upon. In Tantra the recommended technique is to use the images of the gods and goddesses or an image of one’s tutelary deity (iṣṭha-devatā) visualized within the heart or above the head. Christians can use a pleasant image of peaceful Jesus — remember what you meditate upon you become, so the purpose is to achieve an identification with the deity. Using the image of a wrathful or suffering deity has its consequences unless under the direction of a competent guide. Muslims can use the image of throne (arsh) while reciting the names of Allah.
These two stages are the active part of meditation the 3rd one is passive. i.e. it happens
dhyāna — when one become completely focused on the whole process like a sportsman or a cyclist or squash player when one becomes merged with the flow and is unaware of anything else - sportsmen call it “being in the zone”.
samādhi — means total absorption and this comes only after a very very long time of regular practice of the first three stages - it can take many years to achieve.

THE 'ARSH (The Supreme Throne of God): Part 1
Literally meaning an arbor, throne, roof, or the horizon of something, the word ‘Arsh is the title of an elevated realm that envelops all the heavens and the earth, surrounds all systems, and which is the arena of the first manifestation of Divine will and command concerning the material and immaterial worlds. While this elevated realm is known as the ‘Arsh, the area regarded as its opposite, that is, the ground, is the farsh (the ground, the floor). Scholars have clarified the meanings of and the differences between these two concepts by saying: “One ascends to the ‘Arsh while the Farsh is descended to,” and they have introduced the ‘Arsh and Farsh as two opposite poles. It is also due to this approach that while the line or spirals of ascension to the ‘Arsh have been described as ‘ arshiya (the spiral way and curves of ascension), the line or spirals of descent are known as farshiya (the spiral way or curves of descent).
It would be better to describe the ‘Arsh in a figurative sense as the horizon of the first manifestation of God Almighty’s Power and Grandeur. For this description also refers to God’s absolute freedom from matter and time. The Qur’anic statement, “ God’s establishing Himself on the ‘Arsh” is a reality whose meaning is not clear, because acts such as settling, sitting or being established, which are particular to the created and time and space, can never be contemplated in respect of God.
Ancient astronomy considered the ‘Arsh to be the ninth, most extensive firmament that surrounds all other firmaments. Astronomers also referred to the ‘Arsh as “the vastest firmament” and “the all-embracing firmament.” This approach could be viewed as accurate if we take into account the knowledge of astronomy in ancient times. Modern astronomy says different things. However, we should take into consideration what the Qur’an, the accurately reported hadiths, and the opinions of the illustrious interpreters of the Qur’an say on the matter.
The ‘ Arsh is the arena where God manifests His religious commands and His commands for creation and the operation of the universe as the Lord of the worlds; it is the luminous “area” where His Power and Grandeur are initially manifested, and it is above all the realms of creation. The mysterious nature of this realm is known by God alone, and it is a comprehensive mirror of God’s Attributes of Glory and His Names that originate in His Acts. Moreover— if it is permissible to say so—this realm is the “workshop” where all living and non-living creatures are formed. It is therefore impossible for those whose scope of sight is restricted to physical eyes and therefore to the material or physical dimension of existence to comprehend this arena.
Another important topic relevant to this matter is God’s establishment of Himself on the ‘Arsh. Many opinions have been put forward to explain the phrase, Istawa ala’l-‘Arsh (25:59). First of all, the original word for self-establishing, istawa, literally means rising or standing upright, and the preposition used to express the direction of the act, ‘ala, means on, over, or from above. So, in addition to the meaning of rising above, this phrase also implies assuming or manifesting a position of superiority. When used for God, Who is absolutely free from having any resemblance with the created, it means God’s manifesting and making known His Sovereignty and demonstrating His Power and Grandeur. The ‘Arsh is in no way related to matter, time, space, or direction, and as a result no physical, material feature or notion can be applied to it.
Secondly, as God is absolutely free from matter, from having a body, from being contained in time and space, or from being or having a substance, His self-establishing in no way resembles our sitting, settling, or being established. How can He or His Acts resemble the created or the acts of the created? This is explicitly stated in the Qur’an; while He is an all-overwhelming Power Who holds all the heavens and the earth in His grasp of Power, at the same time He is the All-Merciful and All-Compassionate Who is nearer to each human being than their jugular vein.
Thirdly, even when we speak about impotent beings like us, saying: “The king has been established on his throne,” we mean that a person has become a sovereign, subdued the people, and begun to put their decrees into force. Thus, the Divine Being’s absolute freedom from anything physical or corporeal makes it necessary to understand such expressions for Him in the same, figurative sense.

🍃🕊🍃 The Holy Prophet (S) said: 🍃
“If a person recites four unit (Rak’at) Namaz on the night of 7th Rajab in a manner that in each unit (Rak’at) after Surah al-Hamd recites thrice Surah at-Tawheed, once Surah-al-Falaq, and once Surah-an-Naas. After finishing the Namaz, sends ‘Salawat’ on us and recites ten times Tasbeehate Arba’,
Almighty Allāh will offer him shelter under the Throne (Arsh), and give him reward of a person fasting in the month of Ramazan. Till the time he finishes the prayers, the Angels pray for his forgiveness. Allah will ease the pangs of death on him, and save him from the squeeze in the grave (Fishare Qabr). Allah calls Himself Al-Awwal— The First— once in the Quran. Al-Awwal is the one who neither has a beginning nor an end. There is none prior to Him; He is self-existent, all comes from Him, and He is the cause of all that became!
The First One, The Foremost, The Pre-existing
Awwal comes from the root hamza-waw-laam, which points to three main meanings. The first meaning is to be first or to be before, the second meaning is to come back to or to return, and the third main meaning is to be foremost.
This root appears 170 times in the Quran in four derived forms. Examples of these forms are al-oolaa (“the first”), yaa ulee (“Oh men”), aali (“family, people”), al-awaleena (“the forefathers”) andtaweelih (“interpretation”).
Linguistically al-awwal means the one who advances or precedes others. The firstness of Allah Al-Awwal means: the One Whose existence has no beginning [Al-Bayhaqi] and Who existed before everything without a limit (of beginning) [Ibn Jareer At-Tabari]. Al-Awwal  deserves to be the first since He existed when there was nothing before or with Him! [Al-Khattaabi]
This all refers to the same meaning, as the Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said:  O Allah! You are the First, and there is nothing before You… [Muslim]

Al-Awwal Himself says: . . . He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing [Quran 57:3]
The First of Creation
Al-Awwal says: And He it is Who has created the heavens and the earth in six Days and His Throne was on the water, that He might try you, which of you is the best in deeds [Quran, 12:7]. Qataadah said: Your Lord, may He be blessed and exalted, is telling you how His creation began before He created the heavens and the earth [Tafseer al-Tabari, 15/246]
The Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: There was Allah, and there was nothing else besides Him, and His Throne was over the water. He wrote all things in the Book (in heaven) and He created the heavens and the earth [Al-Bukharee] Both the ayah and the hadeeth state that the ‘Arsh (the Throne) of Allah ‘azza wajal was over the water before the heaven and earth were created.
How Can You Live By This Name?
1. Make Allah ‘awwal’ in your life.
We know Allah is the first, but do you really make him ‘awwal’ in your daily life? The Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: Whoever makes the Hereafter his preoccupation, then Allah places freedom from want in his heart, gathers his affairs, and the dunya (worldly life) comes to him despite being reluctant to do so. And whoever makes the dunya his preoccupation, then Allah places his poverty in front of his eyes, make his affairs scattered, and nothing of the dunya comes to him except that which has been decreed for him [At-Tirmidhee]
Do you only think about the clothes you will wear, the food you will eat, the shopping you will do and the friends you will meet that day? Or about how you will pray your prayers on time,  keep yourself from back biting and how you will read your daily portion of the Quran? Fulfilling His commandments and staying away from what He forbade should be the biggest concern of your day!
2.   Be of the saabiqoon.
Money perishes, positions will be lowered and people come and go, only good deeds remain. Be of the saabiqoon – those who are first and foremost in doing good deeds. Then we caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself, and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allah. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty [Quran, 35:32]
3.   Give priority to your prayer.
The Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: The first thing one will be held accountable for on the Day of Judgment is prayer [Sunan Abu Dawud, an-Nasaa’i, Al Hakim] Contemplate this important fact and let it motivate you to fit your daily activities around your prayer instead of fitting your prayers around your daily activities! Learn how to pray properly, understand what you say in salah, push yourself to pray on time and ask Al-Awwal to help you put your prayers first!
4.   Please Him first and He will beautify you.
The Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: He who displeased Allah for seeking the pleasure of people, Allah is displeased with him and those people are also displeased..And he who pleases Allah, although by it he displeased people, Allah is pleased with him… Allah makes him splendid and his speech and acts in the eyes of others beautiful [Tibrani] You will never be able to please one person all the time. Focus on pleasing Allah ‘azza wajal first in everything you do and He will give you a beautiful position in people’s eyes insha’Allah!
5. Put the Quran first in your studies.
Ibn Taymiyyah raheemahullah said: As for seeking to memorize the Quran then this is to be given preference over many of the things that the people consider to be knowledge, but are -in reality – either totally useless, or having little benefit. It is also to be given precedence in learning especially by those who wish to acquire knowledge of the deen, its principles and its particulars. Since what is prescribed for such a person at this time is that he should begin by memorizing the Quran, as it is the foundation of the branches of knowledge of the deen [Fataawa al-kubra 2/54-55] Make understanding, reciting and interacting with the Quran should be the basis and priority of all your studies, even if it is ten minutes a day!
Wallahu ta’alaa ‘alem.
O Allah, Al-Awwal we know that You are the One without beginning nor end.  Guide us to put You and seeking Your pleasure first and foremost in our belief and our deeds. Help us to give priority to our prayers, adorn us with love and closeness to Your Book and make us of the saabiqoon, ameen!
