Shaibab al Din Alusi رحمه الله said,
"It has always been the way of noble hearted people to take special care of a woman's heart because she is delicate by nature.
Therefore, it is commendable for a person that when he wishes to give something to his children, he should give it to his daughters first."
[Tafsir Ruh al Ma’ani 4/279]

The days which are the heaviest on your heart due to hardship and pain, may also be the days which are the heaviest on your scale in reward, so long as you are patient and anticipating reward.

Act Before You Regret!
قال الإمام أحمد بن حنبل : الدنيا دار عمل والآخرة دار جزاء
فمن لم يعمل هنا، ندم هناك !
Imam Ahmad Rahimahullah: “The world is the place of action and the Akhirah is the place of reward/punishment, so whoever doesn not act in here, will regret there.”

Shaikh Ibn ’Uthaimeen said: “Speaking about Allaah without knowledge is more grave than associating partners with Allaah (shirk).
And wallahi, this is a matter which most people don’t realize and of which they’re heedless!”

Praying while sitting.
Q: Is it true that the prayer of someone sitting is half (in terms reward) of the prayer of someone standing?
Shaikh’ul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah: Yes.
It’s authentically reported that the Prophet said: “the prayer of someone who’s sitting is half of the prayer of one who’s standing.”
However if it’s one’s norm to pray while standing and he’s only sitting due to his inability (at that time), then surely Allaah will give him the reward of one who’s standing.

Two Wolves!
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Two wolves roaming freely among sheep are less destructive to them than the desire for wealth and fame is to a person’s religion.”

Laughing during Salah.
• Smiling doesn’t cut/invalidate the prayer.
• But laughing out loud does.
• To laugh, chuckle or giggle breaks the prayer but not the wudoo’.
• However, it’s recommended to redo the wudoo’ since the person committed a sin and to be safe among the differing opinions on both sides.
