I think we should just bring back Wungo Wednesday and start a fandom collective anime rewatch

#Because otherwise I can feel I won't last much longer #Because like. The last two hyperfixations of mine ended the moment I started feeling like there wasn't any new content #And two days ago in one day I started a new manga a new book and rewatching a favourite show #Whereas I hadn't started anything new in the two years ever since I got into bsd. Which makes it NOT a good sign #But the bsd anime has now ended for one month and 25 days and that's the last time the plot actually moved forward.#And if I counted right. The manga took 4 chapters (that is chapters 110-111) to adapt 6 minutes #That means it's going to take another 12 months (18 minutes left to adapt. that's 12 more chapters) to catch up with the anime #Yeah I'm not. sticking around this long with nothing new to see I'm sorry #Best case scenario I take a one year hiatus but that doesn't make it sound likely that I'll be back #And I know it's fresh news as early as this morning that author said they were introducing a new character but like.#They also said they finished writing this arc like. One year and half ago if I remember correctly?#And we still have yet to see the end of i t so...#That is to say. I'll probably be starting an anime rewatch starting next Wednesday. I've been meaning to do it for a while anyway #I don't want to leave the fandom I like the one chapter a month format #On the positive news I still have a queue of original posts that spans over ten months #And I was meaning to start the reblogs queue too in these days. In other news I will not be respecting a single Word of God from the da writers and will be actively rewriting shit to suit my whims if I actually play the game after all. Hell- I'll disregard canon text for meta reasons if I damn so feel like it. You condescend longtime fans and dismiss 2 thirds of your franchise as irrelevant? Ok! I will simply ignore the timeskip, not listen to a single word your little writers pet has to say and hopefully murder him instantly if given the option. Nevermind my rook concept i'm this close to just remaking my Hof with a fake mustache, call him Bahariel and treat this whole thing as a fucking joke.

#last night we got devastating news from the hospital #friday we took my grandpa to the er for a delirium and leg pain due to clotted veins to get some testing done and help him #turns out he has end stage lung cancer that spread through to his bones. doctors give him 4-8 weeks - tops #i felt guilty all weekend for setting all of rhis in motion while he preferred to stay at home (which he couldn't)#and then we got this diagnosis on top of it all. i've been an absolute wreck. i was wirh him at the er and visited him sunday and today #he's doing okay but he's depressed -has been for years- and it's been really tough fighting for someone who has given up years ago #i'm going home tomorrow. i need some time to rest and process to prepare for al that's to come #anyway. just wanted to update y'all after friday's post. i'm okay - all things considered. i just won't be as active out here as usual

ohhhh they made a blunder with the timeline: tommy tells gerrard he transferred out of the 118 5 years ago, but then later bobby references buck's arrival at the 118 being 7 years ago. hmmmm

#i mean we're in season 7 so it makes sense for buck to have been there 7 years. and he took tommy's place so #tommy probably actually transferred a little over 7 years ago.#they could've forgone the mention of years altogether - had bobby say 'all those years ago' to buck or have tommy tell #gerrard he transferred 'a few years ago' or something if they didn't want to mention '7 years' twice in the ep. but it also #reminds me of tommy's cake from that bobby begins ep: it said 'the 217's loss is our gain' which is obviously backwards #bc what we were seeing was tommy leaving followed by buck's arrival. anyway now i'm thinking about this messy timeline laid before me #where tommy was still at the 118 for 2 years while buck was there so he got to witness fuckboy 1.0 and abby and was there when buck #got hurt in the bombing. he also would've been around for eddie's first year so imagine early seasons doubly jealous buck #but yeh then there's the cake: it makes no damn sense! compels me though.. makes it look like tommy went away then came back?#911 7x09 #.txt #tommy kinard #evan buckley
