Hello, I am anon and I wanted to ask more about your CotL characters and story behind them

AAAAA HI SKY!!! I'm so glad you're interested in cotl! I don't know if you already played but, if you haven't, it's worth giving it a shot! Is super fun!

Okay so... About Beleth. She was The One Who Waits' first disciple, therefore she's loyal only to him. However, as the walking encyclopedia she is, Beleth could be really helpful to the Lamb through the beginning of the cult...... But she hates him. However, The One Who Waits forces her to guide the Lamb and now she belongs to him. (In my story, Lamb is a bit clumsy because my first save is an infernal disaster)

As a child, she was found by Narinder and brought to Shamura, Kallamar, Heket and Leshy (because I love the found family trope). Eventually, they find the crowns and the cults begin.

Beleth starts studying the rituals and the crowns' powers (especially the Red and Green Crowns), becoming a scholar and the bishops' oracle. Although her preference towards The One Who Waits was noticeable.

Despite her preference, her interest the Green Crown's magic was growing. After all, it holds the power of chaos. She wanted to understand how it worked to help The One Who Waits.

When the Bishops fight against The One Who Waits and send him to the other side, they have a hard time deciding what to do with Beleth. She knew about their powers, their rituals, their thought process... Her knowledge was dangerous. Sacrificing her would only put her on The One Who Waits' hands and letting her go wasn't an option either so they just... made her disappear.

When The One Who Waits meets the Lamb, besides receiving the Red Crown, the Lamb is given the quest of finding her and convince her to join his cult. Although her state was... Well...

Not good.

You have inspired me to start making reading comprehension questions for a server’s political memes channel. Do you have any tips to make good questions, or pitfalls to avoid?

I did want to answer this ask but I waited a bit until I had more actual posts queued before doing so

When I'm doing my gimmick, the first question I ask myself is, "taken completely literally at face value, what is this post saying?" Then, I ask, "what does this post actually mean?" or, alternatively, "what was the reason that this post was made?"

Of course that is not necessarily the best way to do it or the only valid way, it's just the easiest way for me to start breaking a post apart.

I also try to lead a hypothetical person who is reading my questions to try and think about things in a way that would help them understand the post. For instance, on the nsfw snow post I tried to direct my hypothetical answerer into understanding that the one image that was removed was probably due to copyright issues with the photographer as opposed to some algorithm gone awry that thought the snow was porn, which can be verified by checking the notes of the post.

hibiscia!!! Sorry if youve explained before but is there something specific about reset-remember fics that you hate? I don't really like them either but for me it's just because I feel like a lot of authors type sans in very ooc ways

They're completely antithetical to Sans' character arc for the sake of cheap and easy angst. The nature of his brand of cosmic horror isn't in reliving his life again and again, that's Flowey's. Sans knows OF the anomaly, knows that it's manipulating time and knows it's a threat to the entire universe, but he doesn't know how or why, because he doesn't remember.

And that's crucial! him being mostly in the dark in spite of the MANY warning signs about us... because it's in that doubt that he remains hopeful. YES we could potentially end the world... but what if we don't? yes we have unimaginable power over everyone else and we can bring back time, but what if we're just.... sad? he needs that gap in his knowledge so he can take a leap of faith across it, it's his entire character arc in the pacifist run. sans THINKS he's given up, he wants to have given up, he chose to do it because there's a comfort in that. in contenting yourself with good food and bad laughs. there's peace. but he hasn't given up, not really. on himself? maybe. but not in us.

there's no way to have that arc if he remembers resets.

Just wanted to ask, who Beleth and what's her relationship with the bishops?

Beleth, as you see, is an oc of mine that helps me explore the bishops' personalities, putting them in situations that I doubt they would get by themselves. She allowed me to develop Heket's sisterly side, Shamura's worries, Kallamar's skills when he's not possesed by anxiety, Leshy's childish and mischievious side and Narinder's kindness. You could see her as their disciple.

However, we all know how their story continues. They couldn't be a happy family forever.

Anomaly falls

Doodle pages of my Gravity Falls Au! Oc,,

His name is Thomas, and he is in his [?¿¿??] The au revolves around the anomalies that came with him appearing in the world, things randomly appearing while some other stuff disappeared. Stuff that didnt use to happen before started to happen more frequently and well! Now, there is a Bill back in gravity falls. Who would have thought that the random man in his [??¿¿?] would bring back the biggest threat!? (Said no one ever before).

Okay, but unironically, the relationship there is between the characters is weird, because at first Thomas felt like a part of that world, like he was someone real, however, with time his mind started to become self aware, realizing that like Bill and everyone there "he is an idea made by someone that will live forever" this causes him to break down because lets be fair! Who wouldn't have a mental breakdown over finding out how you or anyone you know is real? Is sucky, we all know that, smh.

Thomas being an anomaly doesnt really abide to the natural laws of the world, and now he is able to kinda break the 4th wall in a funny way like Bill, but no one knows this.

He feels so out of place with the cast. And even worse, so when he realizes he is the reason that all these anomalies have been happening. This au will either develop into something more lighthearted or something more.. uhm, angsty and bad.

Anyways, enough about my yapping; the doodles here are just his silly interactions with Cipher and some info about him.

Right and his work menaces (Brent and Karen).

I don't remember last I mentioned it but apart from crude nicknames to people (except Chris), he also just puts them in his phone really weird (except Chris, who is literally in his phone as Chris). And I bring this up because in Right's phone, Karen is saved as "Lawful Obligation".
