At the beginning of Sonic 3, the Wachowskis plan a surprise party to celebrate Sonic's coming to Earth.

Which of course makes me think of Generations, but funny enough I think it was handled better here. The idea being that Sonic isn't an easy person to surprise.

But what the Wachowskis did was distract Sonic with something that he loves which in this case was a friendly race amongst his friends.

I really like how the Sonic movies basically boil down to Team Sonic fight another popular SEGA character, they realize Eggman is the real enemy and curb stomp his ass, and then Maddie and Tom Wachowski adopting another alien pre-teen.

Hopefully future films will follow this formula. Is very entertaining.

Stobotnik AU/fic prompt idea where Robotnik does survive the explosion but ends up thrown through time he ends up waking up a couple of years in the future.

Him meeting Stone who has mourned him for years, helped save the world a couple of times lives in green hills running the mean bean. And who has adopted and been raising Shadow (And also maybe Amy as well)

Just Shadow being super overprotective of his dad not wanting Robotnik to break his heart again. He so course wrangling Sonic into his schemes to keep Robotnik away from his dad while he doesn't trust him.

When he decides to let him near Stone him giving the most terrifying shovel talk. Amy gives an even more terrifying one.

She also giving lecture on dates because he better treat her dad right.

The dates are shadowed with Shadow and Amy and of course Sonic (And even Knuckles and Tails tagged along) they are not subtly.

Sonadow extra: The sudden realizing all the Wachowskis have that Robotnik is going to be their in-law... all future holidays are going to be insane and even more explosions than they already do.

Amy's not showing up... and that's okay.

For the sake of getting a great third installment with cohesive storytelling and engaging plot, I accept the fact that it's highly unlikely that Amy, Rouge, or anyone else beyond Shadow will show up in Sonic Movie 3.

Believe me, I was SHOOK (and a little bitter) at first when they introduced Shadow before Amy. But after watching that trailer, I can see that they know exactly what they're doing. It makes total sense. With the story that they're trying to tell, Amy would stick out like a pink, sore thumb! This is Shadow's story. It's his turn. This movie already has a lot on his plate as it is. To couple that with Amy's introduction and backstory would be a bit overwhelming. It would do her a great disservice by making her a "third wheel" and I don't want that for her. We're lucky that they were able to pull it off with Tails and Knuckles in Sonic Movie 2 lol.

One of the things I admire most about this franchise is the way that tell each character's story and how connected they are! Everyone's lives were greatly impacted all because a blue little hedgehog was sent through a ring portal to Earth. From the Wachowskis to Robotnik to Tails and Knuckles... even Rachel!

If Amy is going to be anywhere within the Sonic Cinematic Universe, I want her pressence to enhace the story and make sense rather than excessive fan service. I want her story to be just as important,

thoughtful,

powerful,

and necessary

as everyone else's.

It's what she deserves. 🩷🦔

Y'all KNOW I had to talk about this but since Sonic 3s post credit scene basically broke the internet and kinda teased the 4th movie, I thought I'd give y'all my thoughts on what I think the Plot for Sonic 4 is gonna be. Basically my theory is that they could be adapting Sonic CD and possibly be implementing Time travel (I mean Where else could all these Metal Sonic's have came from? ) I suggest that Metal Sonic is gonna be the Villain and probably went back in time to try and eliminate Sonic because he's such a huge problem in the future, however he didn't expect Amy to have followed him and is possibly here to warn Sonic, similar to way Trunks did in DBZ with the androids. (I'm telling ya the anime references Never stop)

This could be our chance to probably see the "Weider" characters and concepts like the Freedom fighters, Silver, Blaze and possibly Team Dark, since we know Shadow is still alive. This could possibly lead to an Apocalyptic future Prevention Storyline and maybe even give us a True Sonic like adventure that is DIRECTLY word for word taken from the games, making this world feel much more like the games

I have a feeling this movie will take HEAVY inspiration from Sonic CD, Sonic A1, Sonic Heroes my FAVORITE Game, and possibly Sonic 06, if they Decide to add Silver and whatnot. Yeah idk about you, but I'm looking Forward to Sonic in 3 / 2yrs ^w^
