Its 11pm and i was going to sleep But this idea came to mind and idk why I feel the need to share so yeah

Barty is a famous singer (think the neighbourdhood But also frank ocean and ldr) and evan is a famous model and a actor (think suki waterhouse a little bit) and they meet one day at an after party of a runway show of evan (barty was there because regulus was also modelling and he is a good friend) and they feel in love that second on that night and they keep talking and flirting and seeing each other for a while

Barty and evan dated for 2 and a half years and they were THE couple and everyone loved them, barty would make or Talk things Related to evan on his concerts and even has a song for him and how they meet and Everything on one of his albums (think margaret by lana del rey mixed with envy the leaves by madison beer) and evan would make lives and lit talk about barty for like 3 hours straight and people would think its the cutest ever

Idk But I think they break up But not because evan got bored or didnt feel loved or they had problems or fights, no, he just break yo with barty cause yeah and move on cause he has the mindseat of "if I did this I dont know why would I Regret it, I Wouldnt have done it if so" so he did that and pack his things But left barty a scrapbool with All of their photos since they meet and a camera wich barty gifted to him For his birthday

Barty never got with evan did it even tho evaned to him why, he was heartbroken and cried for a whole month on regulus' guest room cause his shared room with evan on their apartment had too many memories, he wrote songs for evan after the break up But most of them he never realesed them, he didnt realized when he was begging evan not to Leave him he would Never get over evan

Their fans and everyone was heartbroken too even tho they didnt know the reason of the break up, evan after 5 months of the break up he meet Amos and really liked him so they went on dates and try to date and actually did make each other very happy, people were horrible to the, evan because of how he could be with someone else in such a little time (bitch get over it... You Are Annoying shut up) and to Amos just because everyone loved barty and evan together so the New partner always gets shit on the for no reason other than "your partner looked better with this person" and i think barty would had collab of had been friends with Amos and like had post higlights or put music out with him and when the relationship went public he deleted those for a few days then put ir back on like nothing happened (he was having a mental break down my bbg was NOT okay) and well of people ate that whole ass drama UPPP like I would have too

And i think Amos and evan would still be dating and people Are a lot more suportive of them and liked them a lot more than before and barty would go to a random podcast channel to promote his music and that But they asked a question of "after your break yo with evan you haven't been with anyone else even tho he didnt even need 5 months to do so, why is that?" and yeah ve got annoyed a little at that But he told the truth "im super happy for Amos and evan actually I think they make a great couple and they looks like the love each other and will take care of each other, I will never forget what I say to evan that night things ended, I said it that night, I will say it now and i will say it again “evan rosier I loved you for many years, I love you now and i dont think I will ever not love you... just so you know” and yes i loved evan then, now and i will always love him"

summary: James Potter doesn't share anything, especially not his girlfriend TW: underage drinking note: ngl, I don't see James as the jealous type, but he is super protective. Also idek if Amos was in their year, but for the sake of the story he is.

JAMES POTTER IS NOT A JEALOUS GUY.

Really, he isn't. But dear Godrick he's never wanted to bash someone's head in with a bottle of firewhiskey so badly—but that might just be the empty bottle talking.

He watched from a good ten feet away as Amos Diggory flirted with you with a wide smirk.

As mentioned before, James wasn't a jealous guy. He couldn't blame the stares you got whilst walking through the halls, or the way some eyes would linger when you laughed a little too loudly at one of his dumb jokes.

You were stunning, and James didn't blame people for seeing that. Hell, he was glad they did. Besides, he couldn't ignore the tiny ego boost he got from the fact that at the end of the day he was your boyfriend and not any of them.

Amos however didn't seem to understand that.

James's eyes narrowed as he slung his arm around you oh-so casually as he told a (probably stupid) joke. You gave him a small smile, a polite one—yep, definitly a stupid joke.

"You planning on murdering Diggory by glaring, mate?" Siruis asked, walking over to his best friend with a grin, "I'm afraid you're not one of those guys from Peter's superhero books—hey wormy, which one was it? With the laser eyes?"

Peter looks up from his drink in confusion, "Superman?"

"Yeah, that one," Sirius snapped his fingers, "So, is that your plan? Burning Diggory with you laser eyes?"

"The only thing burning in here is Prongs," Remus replied with a laugh. James rolled his eyes, "I don't know what you're talking about."

Lily decided to join in on the conversation and added in a teasing tone: "Really, 'cause you look a little uhm... green."

"I'm not jealous, I don't get jealous," He replied with a scoff, glancing in your direction again, "Especially not of guys like Amos Diggory."

His friends all gave him sceptical looks as he grabbed another bottle of fire whiskey. "Why would I be jealous. I have nothing to be jealous about," He insisted, staring intently as Amos dragged you and Dorcas towards the dance floor.

"What about the fact that he's already asked out Y/N like three times?" Peter replied casually. The entire friendgroup turned towards him, "What?"

He jsut shrugged, "Yeah, he just asked her out three times in the past two hours—watching him get rejected twice was awkward, the third time it was just sad."

"And you're mentioning this now?!"

"I thought you knew, I mean you've been staring at them the entire night."

James put down his bottle of firewhiskey and made his way over to the two of you.

"That's not fair—you're just Slughorn's favourite," You replied, smiling as you whirled the drink in your hand.

Amos grinned at you, "Yeah, well, maybe if you spent more time actually listening during class you'd be able to catch up with me. Maybe."

You rolled you eyes at the statement. "Oh, please, Diggory, if anything I'm doing you a favour. If I actually tried during classes I'd leave you in the dust."

"Oh, yeah?" The blond asked, raising a brow at you, "Maybe I should return the favour by taking you to Honeydukes this weekend."

"Hmm, no, I think I'm good," You reply as politely as you can, mustering a small smile.

This was the fourth time Amos had asked you out in the past two hours. And also the fourth time you'd rejected him.

How did he not know you had a boyfriend? You'd think that after that kiss (read: pretty much a make-out session) with James after Gryffindor beat (read: wiped the floor with) Hufflepuff last quidditch match, people would know the two of you were dating.

Apparantly not.

"Besides—" A loud, familiar voice sounded as James put his arm around you shoulder— "We've already got plans for this weekend."

The brunette give you a sloppy kiss and a satisfied grin, "Don't we, babe?"

You smile and nod. "Mhm, you promised me a drink at the Three Broomsticks."

Amos looked between you and James as you gave eachother lovesick stares.

Maybe you were laying it on extra thick just for Amos but they were lovesick stares nonetheless.

"Oh, uhm, well then..." He stuttered, trying to form a coherent sentence. James turned to him with a raised brow, "Well, maybe you should be heading towards the firewhiskey."

Amos seemed to take the hint. Finally. He quickly scurried away and out of your sight.

You let out a sigh, "Thank you—for someone so smart that guy really doesn't know how to take a hint."

"Well, good thing you got me then," James replied, grinning from ear to ear as he kissed you again, "Your own personal superman."

You swung your arms around his neck and smiled into the kiss, "Mhm, so lucky."

Remus sat at the small dining room table he had been crowded into by Sirius and James. 

It was loud at the beginning. Lily was pregnant with her baby Harry, and James was constantly fawning over her. Amos Diggory was loud like James, clinging onto anyone he could while he and James yelled back and forth. Frank was freaking out just as much as James was over Alice. Andromeda was arguing with her husband Ted about baby shower colors, the both of them being picked for the decorations.

Remus knew it felt bad. It felt worse that Sirius wasn’t loud with them. So he asked Sirius.

He regretted asking.

“Seriously Sirius?” James said incredulously, looking at Sirius with furrowed eyebrows. “Regulus? Really?”

“Yes, James. For the fifth time.” Sirius muttered under his breath. Sirius had stated that he met with Regulus, to the stunned silence of the room. Remus honestly felt sorry for him, if only for a moment. He wasn’t even sure why Sirius would want to meet with Regulus in the first place.

James seemed right. Regulus was a Death Eater, one of the most prolific. Sirius never even had a good relationship with him in the first place.

“Why? None of us knew about this beforehand,” Lily asked Sirius, though Remus didn’t see any anger in her voice. Just confusion.

He couldn’t say that for the rest of the group.

“He sent me a letter, to meet in this abandoned town. I didn’t tell anyone so nobody else would be put in danger, and I made sure I had no tracking things on me just in case.”

“But why would you meet with him?” Frank asked. “I thought that he was, like, a bad Death Eater.”

“He’s not good,” Andromeda muttered quietly to herself, nails tapping against the dining room table. “But he’s not bad. I always thought that he would fight back eventually.”

Sirius nodded, smiling softly. “Yeah.”

“I’m assuming he had a stressor, then?” Ted asked curiously. “He wouldn’t do anything unprompted.”

“Oh, yeah!” Sirius said, rummaging through his pocket before pulling out a necklace. “This!”

The room fell silent again as he pulled it out, blinking blankly at the necklace. “And what exactly is that?” Remus asked confusedly. 

“It’s, well,” he mumbled. “It’s Salazar Slytherin’s locket, firstly. But secondly, it’s a Horcrux!”

“A Horcrux?” Andromeda gasped, quickly grasping the necklace before investigating it. She turned it up, down, and ten ways sideways. Whatever a Horcrux was, it was obviously important.

“Not to sound stupid,” Amos murmured, raising his hand. “But what is a Horcrux?”

“It’s a way that people stay immortal, to put it simply.” Ted explained, waving his hand. “You kill something, it splits your soul, and you can revive yourself as long as the Horcrux is intact. As far as the universe knows, you’re still alive.”

“The question is for who?” Andromeda asked.

Sirius looked at the Horcrux grimly. “Voldemort.”

Remus sighed under his breath as the room fell silent again. Honestly, he was getting rather sick of the silence. He had just gotten used to the chaos after the last full moon, and now it was suddenly quiet? Over someone’s name?

They needed to grow a backbone, he thought.

“How did Regulus find out about this Horcrux?” Remus asked Sirius.

“Well he didn’t give me very specific details,” Sirius said, fidgeting with his nails. “But from what I was told, he was trying to use Kreacher to test out whether he had hid it well. Kreacher is, well was, our House Elf. Regulus summoned him before he died from whatever Voldemort used to hide it.”

“Regulus was always close to Kreacher.” Andromeda sighed softly, looking down at the necklace. “So he figured out about the Horcrux. He gets it himself, somehow, and gives it to you?”

“He had it for a couple of months.” Sirius clarified, clearing his throat. “But his new ‘friend’ convinced him to talk to me again.”

“Friend?” James deadpanned.

“I think it’s a lover.” Sirius said, pouting like a child.

“Not the point, Sirius.” Remus reminded him.

Sirius nodded. “Right. Well, from what I know, the Death Eaters think that he’s dead.”

“The Dark Lord can trace the marks though.” Alice reminded him. “If he has the Dark Mark, the Dark Lord would be able to tell.”

“Well,” Sirius said, chuckling awkwardly. “The thing about that is, you know,”

Remus sighed, debating whether he should start banging his head against the table. He felt like he was chasing sentient cheese around a mice maze. 

“Spit it out, Sirius.” he said.

“He cut off his mark!” Sirius sighed, itching at his arm. “I saw it. It wasn’t a glamour.”

“He cut it off?” Andromeda asked quietly. “Like, the whole thing?”

“I saw bone.” Sirius whispered quietly.

The room went silent once more. This time Remus understood. Seeing bone was never a good sign, he of all people in the room would know. Especially when it was self inflicted.

“Does he need to run away?” Lily asked Sirius quietly. Remus could tell her motherly instinct was kicking in. “We have room.”

Sirius mumbled under his breath before shrugging. “I don’t think so, but I don’t know.”

“Are you going to see him again?” Andromeda asked quietly, sitting down in front of Sirius. “I want to go with you if you are. He’s my family too.”

Sirius smiled softly before nodding. “I said that we could meet at a café next Sunday.”

“Then I’ll go with you.” Andromeda said.

Sirius smiled softly before looking around the room. Remus could feel his eyes darting around anxiously, Sirius always craved public approval. 

James sighed softly when Sirius’ eyes landed on him. “I don’t think I’ll go. I doubt Regulus wants a whole club at a family reunion. But Lily and I can make food.”

“Me and Frank can make room if he needs.” Alice suggested calmly. 

Sirius smiled softly before turning to Remus. “Remus?”

Remus looked between him and Andromeda before sighing. If anyone was close to Regulus in this group, it was probably him. The two of them had studied sometimes back in Hogwarts. Sometimes he would even consider Regulus a friend.

“I’ll go with you.” Remus said.

“Perfect!” Sirius clapped happily.
