The left SUCKS at recruiting people. And so many of you are part of the problem.

The talk about centrists and moderates being the literal devil I see constantly in online leftist spaces is one great example of the left's failure. Yes, it sucks when the people don't see how horrible the right is. But centrists are some of the most open people to discussion- and some already lean left!!

You can't demonize moderates to such an extent that you close yourself off to them and then wonder why you're losing swing states.

Centrists aren't even always people with all the privileges- you will find plenty of people who are part of marginalized groups who are concerned about politicians on all sides.

You can be a smol radical leftist bean all you want who only talks to other smol socialist and communist beans, but you're never going to make the difference you want to in the world that way. It's the cold, hard truth. It doesn't mean you have to engage in discourse with everyone- some people have no real hope of changing and are emotionally draining- just more than your bubble.

I am tired of the left eating itself alive and deranged people like Trump winning.

TLDR: Possibility that election day bomb threats were for eventually discrediting alterations to tabulation databases

Soooo, someone named Stephen Spoonamore is posting on spoutable that it's possible the 32 bomb threats were to break chain of custody, and cover up a hack to the tabulation systems in those counties. The link to this can be found here.

I have no clue how credible this guy is, nor am I any expert on the claims he's making. Therefore, I'm just sharing this and make no comment agreeing or disagreeing with these claims. While I haven't yet found the tv show he mentions being in, he's mentioned on the wikipedia article on Premier Election Solutions (Edit history indicates his name was in the article since at least 2011)

it sucks that today’s election results are going to have unfair repercussions all across the world. especially when it comes to climate change action.

anyone who is gloating that this is what the dems get for not being more left needs a reality check. i think u should ask urself what good that really does, or if u are celebrating a petty victory that comes at the cost of far more lives than if Harris had won. bc it was never really about saving lives, was it? not about protecting the rights of marginalized ppl, but proving ur unshakable moral purity.

and of course, this is a far more nuanced conversation when discussing Arab Americans, especially those w family in Palestine. However, I feel like I've seen this sentiment rampant in other communities, especially white online leftist spaces, and tbh, it's hard not to see these accounts as engaging in white savior behavior - at the cost of all marginalized groups that hung in the balance during this election. The idea that more deaths and taking more rights away is an acceptable outcome to prove one's moral righteousness, or even to gloat over, is fucking inhumane. Go touch grass outside those online leftist spaces ffs.

Just imagine a version of the “Vees” part of ‘The Show Must Go On’ that actually (actively) involved all the Vees.

Imagine there three voices mixing beautifully. Imagine the little way the show could’ve incorporated a three-way swing dance routine into the animation. Imagine VoxVal spinning Vel back and forth between them (after dancing with each other for a bit one on one of course) while they all sing and cheer. Imagine the way they could’ve animated Vel absolutely tearing up a few Lindy Hop moves real quick.

Really, just imagine how damn amazing it would’ve been if instead of just standing to record Vox and Valentino dancing & singing Velvette had (after still being able to silently judge watch them celebrating Alastor’s supposed demise) moved to prop her phone up - so she could record all of them together - and slipped in between the guys to start singing and dancing with them…while showing them up a little too, let’s be honest.

It seems that rather than adapt to a diversifying American, Republicans will cheat to obtain or retain power. Their campaign of suppression, intimidation, and voter purges is at an all time record. SCOTUS and many in the Republican Party seem to forget that this is OUR country. That it’s WE the people. Do not let the forces of old and evil try to tell you otherwise. Make sure your registration is current and valid and let’s show these assholes who this country belongs to. From the revoking justices on the Supreme Court to the obstructionist in the house. i am so so proud of this team- like i love them. i love them so much for bringing so many ppl together, even ppl who don't watch this sport. i love my toronto fc players repping their country now, i love the international players making a name for themselves overseas, i love the players who play for other mls teams in and outside of canada, i love those who play in any league in any country in the world - who're so happy to come home and rep their own country. i love every single player - those injured, those back from injuries, those who're supporting the injured teammates. i love this team for playing their heart out the full 90 every single game so far, no matter what. i love this team for putting canada on their shoulders and showing the world that the hate and underminers won't stop us. i love how far they came and i cannot wait to see how much further they'll go.
