Dark Side's JUDGMENT - Sosei Tachibana (VA Toshiyuki Toyonaga). Absolutely LOVING this man's voice! How he changes and lowers his voice at the end of sentences in certain points is just... GOD! I've NEVER heard anyone having or using voice like that! I LOVE IT! Sends pleasant shivers all around my body each time :D Makes me so excited, ahah! Example: When he sings word "nareyo" around 1:22 - 1:24. How he lowers and changes his voice to "yo". UUUUHHHHH, I CAN'T!!

Think of this : Angel and the gang go out for another trust exercise, and they see an add for one if m!readers concerts.
Since Angel is a fan, he asks to go with the group as a bonding experience, which Charlie says yes too
They go together, and m!reader is getting ready, when they see Angel and think he's quite cute, not knowing him from his ahem, works and they sing a love song (Heavy metal lover by Lady Gaga) and Angel almost has a heart attack.
(It's mostly the ; 'I could be your girl,girl,girl' part that I get inspired from)
At some point Val starts being a weirdo, and then m!reader publicly shits on him in front of their entire audience, and he leaves after getting taken away by a few of m!readers fans
And it ends happily ever after with them together forever :D

Warnings: Valentino gets ripped apart, literally. Reader is low-key like the dazzlings from MLP, also I imagine the reader died via Bell accident like that evil dude from Disney's coco

You appeared in hell overnight after dying from an unfortunate and totally not planned stage accident, involving a bell, everything you had worked so hard for gone within a mere moment.
Filled with rage and the confidence of someone desperate to thrive in the spotlight, you began to conquer the music scene of hell.
You climbed the ranks and crushed those beneath you, if you weren't so focused on gaining fame instead of plain ol' power you'd give a couple of overlords a good run for their money.
You captured the attention of hell's finest, sinners and hellborn alike wanted to book you for their events, concerts were sold out within seconds, stan accounts on hell's Twitter servers would beef with those who opposed you, music edits were made of you, memes and clips, mildly disturbing fanfiction was written, you were an icon.
Along with catching the attention of hell's finest, you gained Angel dust as a fan.
Your music would be playing in the clubs he went to, sometimes played during his drag shows, he'd use it as background for whatever thoughts he disassociated away to whenever Valentino was having his way, or he'd just listen to your music when he was alone.
And so when Charlie somehow managed to get the entire hotel front row tickets to your show after he mentioned it's make a good group exercise, he was ecstatic!
The group waited outside, Charlie and Vaggie were trying to secure a place for them in line, Alastor would rather died again then attend so his ticket went to Cherri, Husk had found the bar, Niffty was terrorizing some sinners by cleaning, Sir Pentious was... Sir Pentious-ing Cherri bomb, and that left Angel dust to wonder around until the show began, stumbling into a nearby store to grab some snacks.
You on the other hand sneaked out to go to the convenience store near by the concert venue in full performance outfit covered by an oversized coat and hood just to grab a slushie and a light snack because with all the dancing you were going to be doing, you couldn't do on a empty stomach but not a too full one or you'd puke!
And that's where you saw him, purchasing a couple of things.
You had a little thing for cute things, and Angel dust seemed to fall into that category, for you anyways, for most of hell's people, they usually tended to put him into a more... Exploitive one,
It wouldn't hurt for you to make one of your people drop off a couple of backstage passes for that spider, after your show right?
Or better yet maybe you could do it yourself?
The concert venue was filled with sinners and hellborn alike from all types of backgrounds, all there to see you perform.
Including a couple of overlords.
Angel's eyes bounced around the stage waiting for your arrival.
Soon enough the bright lights dimmed and more colorful ones took their place.

You struggled to hold back a filthy grin.
"Red wine, cheap perfume, and a filthy pout," you walked out onto the stage front and center, lights following you in all your leather-y glory, the backstage passes in your sleeve crinkled.
"Tonight bring all your friends, because a group does it better," Angel dust's eyes were locked onto you much like everyone's else's, like they were hypnotized.
"Why river with a pair? Let's have a full house of leather," Oh how you adored being the center of attention, you looked at the crowd, eyes glancing over everyone, a mild shiver of disgust went through you when you accidentally locked eyes with what looked to be a grape flavored moth.

You quickly moved your eyes away to continue looking for a certain spider, honestly your attachment to see a sinner you only saw for five seconds tops in a convenience store was interesting.
What was even more interesting was your ability to avoid the explicit ads for the films he did, seriously they were everywhere in hell! Including said convenience store!

Did that count as a horrible, HORRIBLE pickup line or was that just poorly timed?
"You've got to earn your leather in this part of town," it seems someone hadn't seen the poison music video! You flared out your own leather jacket, the shiny gems on it sparkling in the dark.
"Dirty pearls and a patch for all the Rivington Rebels," you winked at him before turning on your heel as your background dancers circled around you with all sorts of dancing.
"Let's raise hell in the streets, drink beer and get into trouble,"
You danced and your background dancers mimicked in perfect coordination.

You began strutting to the center of the stage.

You leaned down and went into what I can only describe as a sensual army crawl but without relying on your elbows to crawl.

You moved towards Angel dust.
"Heavy metal lover,"
You reached out an arm towards him, gently tugging on his bowtie to pull him closer to the stage, once he was close enough you touched his face, his eyes were wide and his heart was nearly pounding out of his fluffy spider chest, you his all time favorite singer was touching his face.
"I could be your girl, girl, girl, girl, girl, girl,"
Within seconds you moved your arm just enough to loosen the backstage passes from your sleeve and have them fall into your hand.
"But would you love me if I ruled the world, world, world?"
You tucked the tickets into the front of his shirt where his chest fluff was located, being careful not to accidently grope the spider.

You gave a wink before flipping yourself onto your back and throwing yourself up and strutting back to the middle of the stage as your performers danced around you.
Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Unfortunately a certain moth witnessed your little flirt, with his best pornstar? He didn't think so.
Without alerting the other two Vees who were actually focused on the show itself he marched his way through the crowd.

Shoving audience members to the side, causing some to crash into each other and tumble like dominoes, grabbing the attention of others.
"Bud Light, liquors, bar slam, move it, this is your jam"
Of course that caught your attention, and you didn't appreciate someone stepping out and stealing the attention that belonged to you! That you deserved and worked so hard for!
"Wash the night with St. Jameson, Like a baptism, heavy metal lovers play,"
You took a couple of steps towards the side of the stage where he was.
"Baby, we were born this way''
"Uh oh, it seems a shiny headed purple man is trying to wreck the show! We can't exactly have that now can we?"
You could barely hear whatever words he was saying, in your prospective it was like a grape yappin' away.

With a wave of your hand the crowd grabbed onto him, lifting him up and pulling him through, landing him in the cannibal section.

Grabbing onto his limbs and pulling them apart, teeth were sunk into him pulling at his purple flesh.

Attention was back on you, as it should be.
No one paid mind to Valentino's screams as if they couldn't hear it or as if it wasn't happening at all, completely and utterly enamoured with you and your music.

Neither of the Vee's would notice he was gone until hours after the show, no one would notice the blood scattered on the floor until late at night when they were cleaning up the messes, and no one would know what exactly happened to him until he eventually respawn, having lost everything.

What a scary power you possessed, even if you didn't completely realize you had it.
But that wasn't the focus here, because as if nothing ever happened you went back to flirting with Angel dust from the stage.

Eventually the show would end, and you'd wait anxiously backstage until that spider came, cashing in that backstage pass you shamelessly gave him from the stage, followed by the princess of hell herself moments later trying to get you to join her hotel.

And what else could you do then accept her invitation to join her little hazbin hotel, although you were anything but a hazbin.
And if you did manage to get past the pearly gates, you already had earth and hell alike in a chokehold, imagine what you'd accomplish if you performed in heaven?

I don't know if you already posted about this but I want advice :D
I'm studying the equivalent to High School in my country (two years only) and I'm trying to strive more. Lately I have realised that I never have free time. I spend the afternoons studying, then I have dinner with my parents, watch something on TV, go to sleep and at those hours I'm so tired that I don't have the energy to do anything else I enjoy. Meanwhile, I see my friends and others at my class going out, going to extracurriculars, getting things done faster...
I've always had the feeling that I only do the things I like during summer break.
I can't help but wonder how am I gonna do when I'm in collage (if I actually get there)!
I would like to ask you if you had any advice, or tips about managing time etc

Hii, sorry it took me so long to answer! From what I heard, it sounds like so kind of burnout. I'm no expert on this topic, so I'm going to leave the links of the sources just in case! (x) (x)
One of main components it's exhaustation. Feeling tired all the time and having no energy. Not only it impacts the mental and physicial health, but the perfomance. This usually stems of being always "on", overwork culture/mentality, pressure (whether internal or external) and the dislike of the tasks. What I recommend is:
Actually rest. Do activities that make mentally rest or dont do any activity, just take some time for yourself. Listen to your favourite music, take a bath, do some breathing exercise. Relax. Here are some more mental rest activities.
Dont beat yourself for resting. A lot of times, we "rest" but it isnt actually rest, because instead of focusing on yourself you are worrying about not doing anything productive 24/7. That looks like rest, but it isnt, it is just more tiring. All the toxic productivity mentality has to go.
Schedule time to do nothing. Establish clear moments for resting.
Take breaks.
Prioritaze tasks. Yes, we all want to have everything done perfectly and complete, but sometimes that is just impossible. The best way to classify them in order is 1) urgent and important; 2) not urgent but important; 3) urgent but no important; and 4) not urgent not important.
Have a good sleep schedule.
Drink water and eat all your meals
Find a hobbie or something you are passionate or at least midly interested on. Something that fills you with joy and seek to. At the beggining it will feel like a waste of time, but once you find something, well, let's just say, try it.
Another thing is the mindset. Negative thinking is unmotivating and tiring. Switching to a more possitive mentality does wonders.There are a lot of ways to reframe negative thoughts, I'm not familiar with most of them so I cant really explain, but here is an article that explains on detail how to do it.
Even though exhaustation and mentality are key to feeling burn out, inefficiency also has an important role. There are millions of study methods, but not a single one works for every person. Maybe you use a "good" study technique, but it isnt the right one for you. I'd recommend trying new ways of studying you havent tried before, see if at least one works for you. I'm going to honest with you, I dont know a lot of methods, since i found the one that works with me I havent tried new ways, here is a list of study methods with explanations that I'm using to draft future posts. Here are the links for the posts are posted about blurting, feynman and pq4r, if any of those sound helpful.
SELF CARE!!!!! Self-care is so important. It's been a common theme in this post, but I will repeat it once more, take care of yourself.
If these are also helpful, I'll leave the links for previous posts about motivation to start, motivation in general, and a reward system for motivation. Not all the tips in those posts will work, actually, some of them may contradict with what I just said, but I posted them with a different situation in mind. Take the tips that will help you and ignore the ones you think will just make it worse.

Listening when he’s relaxing. He’s in a big arm chair with his feet kicked back on the coffee table smoking a cigarette and drinking some nice wine 🍷 he likes to be classy 💅

Music genre: Grunge- this poor guy needs something to get his angst out and grunge is the perfect genre for him to let him blow off steam peacefully.

He listens to music usually when he’s waiting on something. Waiting at the doctors office… waiting for the train… listening on the train. He also likes to listen with one earbud in when he’s fishing or exercising.

Music genre: techno/D&B- this guy loves the repetitive sound of drums and bass. It’s good for his focus whenever he’s messing around on his laptop.

Listening when he’s deep at work on his laptop. What’s he doing on his laptop? God who knows? 😬 also likes to listen to the raunchier songs during “special activities”. You ask him for clarification not me 😳

Music genre: this nerd likes metal too-🩵 I’ve met many metal heads and at least half of them were nerds 🥰 don’t complain to him about Nu metal and what’s real metal- he doesn’t care! If it gets his anger out that’s all he cares about! 😤

He likes to blast his music loud while he’s driving down the freeway. It boosts his mood and he’s a little bit of an adrenaline junkie. He also listens to it when he’s on a 1000- K run. Tips for regressors/dreamers with religious trauma, as the holiday season comes up. And tips for regressors/dreamers with seasonal depression.
(DNI: Pro/com shippers/anti antis, and/or if you sexualize regression in any capacity.)

First and foremost, "christmas" is an entirely stolen holiday. Most of it is stolen from Yule, a Norse holiday, but other elements come from Winter Solstice, Saturnalia, and other winter holidays. So don't feel bad about not celebrating! Now, for tips:
-If the ideas about Santa Claus cause any anxiety, write a letter to Odin instead! Odin (Norse mythology) was the original Santa, before christians stole the holiday. He's very kind and fatherly, and he won't be offended, so don't worry about making any "mistakes" in your letter.
-In the same category, leave cookies and milk for Odin instead. They're a great offering for most other deities as well, for any pagan regressors.
-Make new associations with "christmas" items. Cinnamon, oranges, mistletoe, pine trees, etc are all associations with Yule. The items were to bring joy and abundance during the dark and cold winter months.
-Warm drinks! Hot cocoa, tea, coffee, warm milk- find something you like and put it in your sippy cup. For littles without gear, the coffee lids used at most coffee shops are a good mimic- just wash and save the cups and lid for later.
-Listen to different music. I hate christmas music so if a store I go into is playing it, I'll pop in my earbuds while I shop. In the car, I choose a different radio station or use my own music.
-If you're required to do any holiday activities you don't want to do, imagine your caregiver F/O being there with you, also wanting to leave but having to stay. Maybe they're cracking jokes to make you laugh, or making fun of someone you don't like at the event to make you laugh.
Tips for seasonal depression:
-My therapist recommended this one! Do an activity sitting by a window where the sunlight is coming in. The warmth will help any cold in your body, and you'll get the Vitamin D from the sun, all while being inside and out of the cold.
-Keep moving your body. Stretches, exercises in one spot, and other things like that to stay indoors in the warmth. If you feel up to it, go outside and walk or jog.
-Healthy foods! With depression it's easy to slack on this, but at least try to make an effort. Meats are best for health and for energy levels. Fruits and veggies are getting expensive as the go out of season, so don't be afraid to get canned stuff if you can't afford fresh. My favorite veggie snack: canned green beans, either cooked on the stove with butter and salt, or if you're short on time, drained then microwaved on a plate with just salt.
-Imagine your caregiver F/O cuddling you as you rest. Imagine what nice and encouraging things they'd say. They love you and want you to feel better.

I HAVE THOUGHTS TO SHARE.
THEM AND THEIR hypothetical POKEMON TEAM (i would like to hear other people's thoughts because i am unsure and i plan to post this on the subreddit eventually)
explanations under the cut (its gonna be extensive so be prepared) (this has been rotting in my brain for a while)
KYBORG
he has a secret soft spot for his pokemon, if they faint or get injured he worries really badly
he likes to bond with them during training :D he pesters the others for pokemon battles
umbreon, poochyena - i feel like they kinda just have the same 'mysterious, dark' vibes that kyborg wants to have has!! but funnily enough, they're not as scary as they seem. very affectionate!! like dogs!! kyborg loves them
riolu - okay so think with me here.. riolu/lucario can read auras and emotions and so they know that kyborg isnt a bad person and they know when he's trying to mask his emotions ??!!???? so riolu would be understanding of him n they'd be pretty close
also i'd just like to think riolu (and the rest of his pokemon) enjoy battling alongside kyborg
scorbunny/froakie - when i see these pokemon i think of athleticism and/or dexterity and i couldn't decide between the two :'3
scorbunny/froakie would go on runs / exercise with kyborg, they have a similar personality type where they're both brash, energetic, enthusiastic and they click easily like that!!
though i imagine froakie is more calculated in battles compared to scorbunny whos more impulsive

and during that fight lets say gum gum and kyborg interfered by sending out their pokemon and assisting in the battle n kyborg became really fond of the vulpix and decided to keep him as a per
WHY alolan vulpix? idk i think it'd be fitting since kyborg has some ties to snow and ice and also because i believe the region they were in during that arc was snowy !!1

he performs little shows with his lute and his pokemon!! and he also occasionally has pokemon battles
he loves his pokemon dearly tbh and i feel like all of them appreciate music in some way :3!!
pikachu - one of the pokemon he's owned for a long time! his pikachu particularly is quite fond of his trainer and his quirks n music, it helped the crew during the time bart was on the jebediah!!
i have no explanation for this one actually but a fun thought is that pikachu would evolve into an alolan raichu (look at the little guy surf!!) and this would mean that bart would live in the alolan region so who knows honestly... LISTEN HE JUST HAS A PIKACHU
chatot - a gift from marrrge to bart, passed down because the two started to bond while on the ship. they sang together n marrrge could tell they really had potential so boom kapow wachow
ALSO ABOUT THE MIMICKI NG THING chatot can mimic voices (from what i remember) and i think it'd be funny if it mimicked kyborg like the kenkus from that one library and it annoys kyborg to no bounds
mantine - caught during his time on the ship! mantine sometimes swim near ships in little packs and i suppose this one took a liking to bart, and bart was pretty fond of it as well :D not much to say here except for the fact its a silly little water guy
tauros - bart got like.. a baby auroch or something right?? idk i forgot but either way he is (weirdly) fond of beastly bulls and i suppose a tauros is a good substitute
i also like to imagine bart likes mounting (strange wording) his pokemon since it just means he doesn't have to walk much and he likes being a bit higher up than he usually is n tauros (and maybe mantine) are good for that
would he own the notorious pokemon? that is but a thought left for the audience.
GUM GUM
he's weirdly lucky, seems to have a good chance at finding shiny pokemon and other rare things

anyways, his pokemon r kinda just companions that he likes to hug and hang out with :) occasionally he does battle with them
floette - flower buddy!!! i'd like to think that gum gum likes to spend time in flower fields when he has the chance and the one thing he's honestly pretty knowledgeable in is flowers
so he might've met a flabebe or a floette and they became buddies! he had no idea it was a shiny until maybe one of the party members mentioned it
bulbasaur - okay so i struggled on this decision but then it came to me that bulbasaur is PERFECT idk they have the same vibes and it eventually starts growing a little flower when it evolves
i can't explain this one they just have the same vibes and energy. i think they'd go well together
tyrunt - so let's imagine that for some reason there were some fossil pokemon that kinda just escaped and that's how we explain the dinosaur encounters from rhe campaign
anyways he befriends the tyrunt in typical gum gum fashion (kyborg is SHOCKED because out of all the pokemon this one was a shiny) and they become friends! it loves hugs but it often initiated them running full speed and knocking over the victim (which is fine for gum gum, not fun for anyone else though)
yamper - SPOILERS FOR GUM GUM'S ARC
despite gum gum's bad experiences with rum rum (WHICH BY THE WAY rum rum perhaps was a rockruff that evolved into midnight lycanroc or a houndour/houndoom and that bite wouldve HURT) he's still fond of puppies n yamper helped with this slight uneasiness he's felt
idk i think gum gum deserves a silly little puppy
all his pokemon r very cuddly :)
MUDD
prefers mellow, calm pokemon since he finds it a bit tiring to keep up with high energy pokemon (unlike the other three)
his pokemon are quite well trained!! he's caught a lot of them and they're all very well taken care of
despite his pokemon being pretty strong, he doesn't find much use in pokemon battles
snivy - got the snivy during his time with his family! royal background buddies!!! snivy is a very calm pokemon (but it shares the same sass that mudd has), they're pretty close :D
linoone - GUMBO!!!!! at first, linoone wasn't too big of a fan of mudd but they gradually becamw closer! they do everything together, if you look at mudd linoone would always be on his shoulders or being carried
lycanroc - its the vibes honestly..
midday lycanroc is calm and loyal, and maybe mudd has raised it since it was a rockruff so they're also pretty well bonded!
idk i think they'd get along well
lapras, gogoat - both pokemon that remind me of mudd's personality
i cant explain this except for the fact that theyre correlated to some of the pokemon he's wild shaped into so ....

AAA IT'S OKAY!!!! :D I felt so awkward when my friends were sending their spotify wrapped to me and I was the only one with my apple music statistics LOL. Apple needs to implement more features for their yearly replay... orz seeing all of the fun things that accompany the spotify wrapped....... :o aaaa it looks very exciting!!!
But yesss!!! I have listened to "love cat" and OMG IT'S SO GOOD!!!!! Biz's music is always so catchy, and I love the story they've built through "loveit," "love eat," and "love cat." Cannibalism as a metaphor for love will always be so *chef's kiss* to me.
Although the funniest part about the songs on my top 15 is that most of them were songs I played obsessively while writing tmdg to perfectly capture The Vibes.

Hello I’m Dino! I wanted to make an introduction post for my tumblr since I decided I wanted to start posting to motivate myself and others! I thought it would be nice to list my personal goals, interests, etc. :)
also pls ignore any grammar issues I don’t feel like putting this through Grammarly :,)
Goals
Work towards a 4.5 gpa: I have currently maintained a 4.2 gpa for this school year I wish it was 4.5, but I have 2 b’s :( So I’m going to work towards a 4.5 for this last quarter and senior year!
Become a better speaker: My ultimate career is to be a lawyer! With that comes working to be a better speaker. I get quite nervous when it comes to taking to a large group of people and start to talk fast. On top of this at my mock trial meet I messed up my direct horribly because of how nervous I was to talk in front of the judge and jury :,)
Get best lawyer during Mock Trial Comp: I won best attorney this year, but I don’t think I deserved it…I want to be more confident in my win this time around!
4 or 5 on AP Exams: I want to get a 4 or 5 on both my AP Lang and APUSH Exams in May! I need to study and practice hard though, but I’m willing to put the hard work in ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ
Practice flute more often: I play the flute for my schools band and while I have only been playing for 7 months now I have to keep up with people who have been playing for 5+ years :,) With that I want to practice more to keep up and for my personal interest of just becoming more skilled with the flute!
Turing in homework on time: I have made a bad habit of turning my homework in late which is so bad oml I need to get out of it
Exercise: I want to start working out regularly to lose some weight :) While I’m at a healthy weight I just want to lose a few pounds for aesthetic purposes, but in a healthy manner!
Love myself more: I forget to remind myself that I have gotten so far and I have evolved over the years. I want to make sure that I know that I’m worthy of love even when I’m at my lowest.
Interests
Music: I’m a big fan of all genres (even some country songs too) but I’m a big listener of k-pop! But here is a list of my favorite groups + musicians: Red Velvet, Melanie Martinez, Laufey, Idelwork, Frank Sinatra, NMIXX, Ive, Megan Thee Stallion, Flo Milli, Poppy, Lesserafim, Aespa, Newjeans, Infinity Song, Kiss of Life, and many more!
Media: I’m not going to list every kind of media I’m into but here is a small taste! Big fan of ARGs, Indie Horror games (puppet combo specifically), Mascot Horror games (FNAF + Poppy Playtime), Anime (although I haven’t watched anything recently, but my fave is TBHK), K-dramas and Thai-dramas, YouTube video essays (TRO, iNabber, Primik, Stephanie Soo), Cartoons (Owl House, Gravity Falls, Amphibia, MLP, stuff like that), RPG + Dating Sim games (Shooter game HATER here), Sitcoms, Snoopy/Peanuts, Miraculous Ladybug (biggest MariChat lvr) Twisted Wonderland (Azul my love) and a BUNCH more things I’m into, but I’m not going to list them all like I said :,)
Hobbies: Doing my nails, playing my flute, writing fanfics (don’t judge I BEGGG), reading (pls recommend books for me to read, I love the classics too), deco (for my photo cards and notebooks lol), and makeup!

I got my depression medicine today. SUPER TINY PILLS! :D I take one pill per day (10mg) for a week and then 2 pills, either at morning or evening. I took first one today during early afternoon to see what kind of side effects I get. If bad, I could go to hospital to seek help instantly.
About 30min after taking the pill, my vision came very very VERY slightly blurry (for a short moment) when looking for too far. Like if looking at painting's frame, the outer edge of the frame looked very mildly blurred. Nothing more. After that started to come this feeling that my eyes are very tired, wanting to go to sleep but otherwise, nothing! I am RELIEVED! I honestly feared the worst symptoms (getting urges to harm / kill myself, nausea, diarrhea, throwing up, bleeding, fainting, heartbeat issues etc etc etc.)
But if the pills only make me tired I AM HAPPY about that! I take that any day! And since they make me tired, I know to take them in the evening for now. I just hope they also help me to fall asleep and sleep better.
Doctor also wants me to go to full blood test after a month (which is fine by me) and she will call me after 3 weeks to ask how I am doing with the medicine. After that I've no idea what's going to happen. Will I keep eating the pills for 6 weeks in total and then slowly start to drop them out or will I keep eating them the rest of my life? I hope not.
After all, I've been feeling so good this week (sleep issues still remain). I haven't taken my anxiety pill since Monday evening either since I haven't been needing them. I have been laughing, feeling happy and joyful, I've been able to do small tasks daily etc. even with these mild anxiety attacks (which I try to suffocate instantly when they rise). But I think one reason is the following which I have start to do since Tuesday: - I greet myself every morning via mirror (Good Morning, Beautiful) - I sing a mantra for 15-30 minutes - I do little exercises. Many different tiny moves for 15 min max. - I have given myself a little task each day: Do laundry, wash one cup, take out garbage, stretch your legs, spoil yourself with a feet bath etc. Something simple and small which makes me happy! - Meditate 15-30min before going to bed - In bed I listen either more calming / relaxing music or guided sleep meditation.
I also got text message from therapist. She asked me to fill this online application (which I did) and then call her so that she can check it and we can talk. I tried to call her twice today but she didn't pick up. I will try to call her on Monday. If she won't pick up, then I send her a text, asking her to call me back. I'm quite excited to be able to talk with her about all the things in my life :)
Also! When I went to get the pills from pharmacy, older lady worker spoke a long time with me. I told her about my symptoms, about my periods etc. She looked at me, bend towards me and said: "You know, all your symptoms sounds like they also could be result of the lack of iron in your body."
I was stunned so she continued. She told me that iron is the most important thing in woman's body and pretty much everything in our body depends on iron! She added: "I have experienced it all myself. But you also know what? When a woman is pregnant, she should eat iron so that the baby would get iron too. If the mother won't eat iron during the pregnancy, her baby won't get much iron either. No matter how much iron this baby would eat as an adult, it will never go to normal / high level. You never catch that normal level of iron."
That makes SO MUCH SENSE! I'm 100% sure mom ate badly (still does) when she was expecting my sis, me and my little brother. No wonder we all are "zombies" more or less.
I'm not saying getting and taking iron supplies won't help, since they do at least some, but the iron level won't get as high as it naturally should be if the mother ate iron during pregnancy.

This one reminds me of my rave days. Man, I miss those rave days… I listen to a lot of ambient, trance-y electronic stuff whether I'm high/tripping or not. It tends to fuel creativity in me, and Delerium is always at the top of my list. I love the combination of dark ambient and ethereal female voices that most of their tracks have.

More belly dance music. Yes, I am really into belly dance. I've been taking lessons for….eight?…years now, and I'm good enough now to perform as well as teach beginners. In fact, I'm teaching my very first actual beginner's class this spring, and I'm very excited because 8 people (including one guy and one kid, which is awesome) have already signed up. SQUEE! :D I love everything about belly dance. It's excellent exercise and gives you amazing muscle control, which is great for inherently clumsy people like me. I love the music. I LOVE love that it makes me feel sexy and ultra-feminine and that there's no pressure for dancers to be super-skinny. (In fact, belly dance looks better if you aren't skinny, although lamentably I am skinny because of health issues.) But most of all, I love the outfits. The fabrics, the sweeping skirts, the colors, the BLING. ✨ ✨ ✨
ANYWAY! This piece is one that I have performed to. I prefer pieces that are all/mostly darbuka (That's the drum), and this guy is a master.

You wouldn't think that this combo would work as a duet, but it really, really does, despite the fact that, according to my first husband (who was a recording engineer and eventually a producer), Donna was hung-over as fuck during the (single!) recording session. Can you imagine singing like that while hung-over? I can't.
Ironically, I played the shit out of this song when my first husband left me. LOL I still play it a lot nowadays when I want to sing and dance like an idiot.

I wouldn't call myself a metalhead by any stretch of the imagination, but I do like metal quite a bit. My favorite metal genre is symphonic metal, which probably isn't surprising since I'm a classical musician. :) But yeah, give me all the Nightwish and Epica and, indeed, Within Temptation. This is arguably my favorite song of theirs.

It's the height of their fantasy-theme phase. It's also their "heaviest" album, so I thought that something from it was a good song to follow Within Temptation. :)

🪹 Drought - What do you do to help with Writer's Block?
That's a very good question! Honestly, I think it's best to gain some distance from the thing that I'm currently working on, to work on something else. If that doesn't work out, then I could always listen to music, watch a movie/show, or even take a walk and get some exercise. Once my brain decides to acclimate to other stuff and allow myself to breathe and not just stare blankly at the screen, I can get some work done.
I also drink water or get a quick snack if the reason I can't write is because I need something to get the brain juices flowing.
🌊 Tsunami - When and where do you like to write?
I like to write whenever possible, but most of the time that isn't realistic (unfortunately). I usually write in my bedroom during the twilight hours so think around 11 PM - 2 AM. It's not always ideal, especially if I'm supposed to wake up early, but it's very quiet during those times and I'm not usually disturbed.
The dream is to live a life where I can write anywhere and anytime I want whenever reasonable :D

7 Habits for Healthy Sleep
Not getting enough solid sleep is a common issue for many people. During each appointment, I ask my patients about their sleep. I'm curious how many hours they sleep, if their sleep is solid or interrupted, do they have difficulty falling or staying asleep, do they experience vivid dreams, and do they feel well rested in the morning.
As many of us have experienced, when we don’t get a good night’s rest, it negatively impacts not just our physical bodies, but our minds and emotions. More importantly, when poor sleep becomes habitual, it greatly increases our chances of developing chronic diseases and cancer. Here are some tips that can help:
1. Start with a routine. Developing good sleep requires conditioning. Most adults need 7-9 hours of sleep per night. One hour before bed, set an alarm. From this time on, focus on calming down your mind and physical body.
2. Calm down your mind by reducing the amount of stimulus around you. Shut off all lights in your house except for the lights in the room you’re in. Dim the lights in the room you’re in and avoid TV, computer, iPad, phone, and anything electronic an hour before sleep. Avoid loud or stimulating music before sleep. Enjoy reading a fiction book or a mindless magazine. Consider listening to a 20-30 minute guided meditation to relax your nervous system.
3. Calm down your physical body by taking a hot bath with Epsom salt or a warm shower. Sip a cup of decaffeinated herbal tea containing one or more of these herbs: passionflower, valerian root, chamomile, or lavender. It is very important to maintain an adequate amount of water level in your body. Although there is no fixed quantity of water intake as it differs from one person to another, on average drinking around 2–3 liters of water, every day is recommended.
If you find it difficult to drink enough water daily, you can try other water-based options like herbal teas, coconut water and infused water. Fruits and vegetables rich in fluid like tomatoes, cucumber, watermelons, and oranges should also be consumed.
