A Very Basic Affordable Witchy Christmas Gift Guide
So, you've got a witchy friend or significant other and your frazzled, what the hell do I get them? And you also don't want to spend an arm and a leg on that gift, look no further My Dear!
Affordable Crystals
Clear Quartz (Can serve in the place of all crystals, this may not resonate with everyone though), Rose Quartz (love), blue quartz (peace & calming) amethyst (psychic protection & intuition), black obsidian (protection & grounding)
Note: Each of these crystals have more than one purpose/correspondence, often overlapping another, these are just the most common correspondences.
Affordable Herbs
This category of gifts is incredibly simple, as most witches do not care if they're herbs come from a metaphysical store or a grocery store. However some do prefer organic, especially when burning them. For this type of gift you don't just have to focus solely on herbs found in a bottle, you can also purchase tea bags. Tea bags can come in handy when you are looking for an herb that you would otherwise have to visit a health food store for or order online. Just rip it open and use it in your spell. Below are some affordable tea brands 🫖.
Carrington Teas
Celestial Seasonings
Dollar Tree's brand (in my opinion the only ones that taste good are the black and green teas but all of them can be used in magick.)
Pretty much any store brand of tea.
Cauldrons
Everyone's needs for cauldrons are different, some people need itty bitty cauldrons, others need large ones, some want them only for burning and others want to cook in there's. Either way, these are the most affordable places I've come across to purchase both.
New age imports (For smaller cauldrons, typically no bigger than 5 inches)
Yogi depot on Etsy (Medium sized cauldrons up to 7 inches, which is actually much larger than you would think. I think they sell smaller ones too.)
CindysEyeofthemoon on Etsy (She sells small cauldrons and large ones, with feet and without them and if I'm not mistaken they're all food safe! Not to mention, her customer service is top notch!)
Magick.com
Incense & Candles
Would this even be a witchy Christmas list if I didn't add candles and incense?
Magick.com
Shopafrocosmetics on Etsy
Dollar Tree
Craft stores (See if your craft store has coupons or an app that has discount codes)
Books
Five Below (All of their books I've come across are excellent for all levels of magick. You won't find books about more advanced magick though.)
Barnes and Noble bargain section (which actually carries a lot of the same stuff as Five Below just in hardback.
Books-a-Million or BAM (Which also has an amazing bargain section!)
Magick.com
More Wonky Affordable Gifts
A jar or bag of pennies and other coins (I'm starting to think witches are just crows in disguise because we really like shiny things.)
Coloring books and crayons (Inner child healing anyone? Actually, probably only do this if they are doing inner child work.)
Salt and a jar to put it in (I know this might sound weird, but it's yet another thing no one ever brings up about witches, we freakin' love salt!)
Charcoal Tablets for burning loose incense
And don't forget...
One of the greatest places to look for witchy gifts can actually be at the thrift store or charity shops. My favorite shop has soooo many things that almost any witch would love to have, swing top bottles and jars, gorgeous crystal glasses, candle holders, candles (Did I mention how we really do love candles?). I've even purchased a cauldron there and the best part about thrift stores/charity shops is that you're helping the environment and you'll never know what you will find!
I hope this little list helped you! I come across witchy Christmas lists too often that only have pens and notebooks as affordable options (which I think any witch would agree are always welcomed). Or will tell you which gifts to buy but not where to find them. For this list I wanted to focus on where to find these witchy items affordably. If you have any other witchy Christmas gift ideas please feel free to comment on this post!
⛄Merry Christmas!🎄

They Won't Re-gift These Stocking Stuffers They're Really Useful
They Won’t Re-gift These Stocking Stuffers They’re Really Useful
I’m seeing suggestions (in other places) for stocking stuffers in 2022 that cost so much money, they really are not even affordable gifts. Or, the stocking stuffers are gag gifts and little items no one really needs so they’re stuffed in a drawer, or thrown out.  But not in this story!  I’m suggesting six small stocking stuffers (gifts) that are affordable. But they’re also unique and useful.…

Ragdoll [Yandere Mahito x Reader]
Title: Ragdoll [Yandere Mahito x Reader]
Synopsis: Your back hurts and Mahito fixes it for you. inspired by snatches of conversation with @absolute-flaming-trash as so many Mahito things are!
Word count: 500ish
notes: yandere, kidnapped reader, body modification
Tumblr media
“Well? How does it feel?” Mahito asks, and whenever Mahito asks, you are bound to consider the answer. Whether or not you actually give it depends on the day and time and how much you’re willing to endure.
You’re… Weightless. That’s what you feel–no, no, no. That’s wrong. Not weightless. There is weight to you. You are not some candy floss being tossed in the wind by a child uncaring of the time spent crafting it, hot metal bowls and spinning sticks and carpal tunnel from too many summers on a carnival job.
You have weight, but it is thick and slimy and moveable, like a glob of remorseless slime built up in a forgotten bathroom sink. Or something heavier, filled with beans or sand or stuffing.
A doll, maybe? Oh, yes.
A doll. A ragdoll. The kind your grandparents gifted you when you were little, because it’s what they grew up with on the dusty old farm, and your parents cooed over her yarn hair and homespun look.
But you shoved her onto the decorative chair in the corner of your bedroom and never played with her because you wanted something chic and fun, a doll with brushable hair and clothes that came off.
Now you’re stuck in that corner chair, or you would be, except Mahito wants to play with you. Likes to play with you. Likes to hold you, like he’s doing now, humming and holding out one hand so all of your weight slides to one side and the only thing keeping you upright is the grip of his fingers.
Then flopping you to the other side, and doing it again, and again. Then holding you close and down, like he’s dipping you in a dance.
He could let you go and you’d fall, a heap, onto the floor. Would it hurt? Maybe the rest of you would.
But not your back. Not your spine. He replaced it all with gelatin or goo or slime or whatever he’d decided upon, after you’d begged and begged and begged. Chronic back pain was a bitch. Chronic back pain when you were sleeping on floors and hammocks was bitchier.
“It hurts so much. I can’t stand it. Please, please, please.”
And he’d tickled his fingers up your back–it hurt, too–and smiled down.
“You really want me to fix you?”
And you did, and he did, and here you are now.
Weighty and weightless all the same, his pretty ragdoll.
Only he can brush your hair and change your clothes and maybe that will keep him from shoving you into the corner and forgetting about you.
The thought is too far back to be anything more than a gnat you’ll swat when it comes closer, though. Because your spine is jello, sure, sure, sure. But it doesn’t hurt. And you can’t strain a ligament or herniate a disc when there’s nothing there to hurt, can you?
It doesn’t hurt, for once, and that’s enough.
Mahito drops you low, again, catching you before your head smacks against the concrete.
He smiles.
So do you.

Weekly photo blog update! Ramble about these and life under the cut 😊
We found this amazing collection of books from 1945 about historical fashion second hand for super cheap! It's illustrated, in color, and in excellent condition, I'm over the moon 🥰 also the antique book fair is back in the city and we can't wait to go visit, I'll probably go next week so I'll share more later! although I really need to stop getting books, I've been out of bookshelf space for months now and they already took over half of the dinning table 😆
This little shop in the photos is where we get spices and dried fruit and it's very pretty so I thought I would share
Today we went out for sushi to one of our favourite places! It's venezuelan-japanese fusion and it's so so good, the drink is papelon con limon and I highly recommend it!
And last are these amazing thrift finds!! The skirt and sweater are perfect aaaaa I'm going to style so many autumn outfits soon after the weird heat wave passes, I can't wait!!
On a more depressing note, yesterday was my father's first birthday since his death a couple of months ago, and I also saw his tomb for the first time, my aunt sent me a picture at the graveyard and it's such a strange sight, seeing his name on a cross on the ground feels unreal. I try not to think about it too much, it's like if I stop running or look back it will catch up with me. We lit a candle last night with Nicolas and talked about him, it's getting easier to remember the good over the bad with time so I'm happy about that 😊
I hope everyone is having a great beginning of autumn!

I don’t care what the plot of the community movie is as long as it starts with a shot of Troy and Abed cuddled together in bed and sleepily singing “Troy and Abed in the morning” as they wake up
