People around me keep getting younger. I find my way back on the rocks. Listening to the water
thinking about cows.
Last night I left
Without moving my body—
Last night I left without moving my body
And she asked me where I went
I’m on the rocks,
There is a beautiful man next to me
And I can’t help but to wonder
How I got so lucky
But maybe I always have been
There is love everywhere
It’s out there for you
It’s out there for me
It’s where people don’t mind your silence
It’s in the dog who made you hesitate going out the door
It’s in patience
It’s in listening ears
You’ll see it between the two geese
swimming together, communicating
to the one across the pond
It’s in questions
It’s in allowing youthful connection
It’s in a willingness to learn
It’s in the ones who ask you were you’ve gone
Where you’ve been
and how it was

My Grief is an Ocean
I heard from my uncle today
He says his grief is like a hurdle race
He says he is over the first hurdle,
Or will be soon
How lucky,
For his to have a finish line.
My grief is an ocean
Boundless and deep and foreboding
Wave crashing after wave
The salt and tears pulling me under
Again
I remember the year
You took us to the Shore
We waded out
Jumping waves and remembering the past
The tide rolled in, and caught you unaware
It pulled you under, but
We buoyed you up
And we swam to shore. Safe, laughing at the adventure.
I wish we could laugh now.
The waves crash and they churn
Again and again and again
And it is all I can do to stay afloat
Weathering waves and remembering the past
One day, I will be able to float
The waves will calm
And I will breathe
But not today.
They say the depth of grief
Mirrors the peak of love
How lucky,
For mine to be an ocean.

I admire the abhorrent

am abhorrent and grotesque.

If I only had one “I love you”
and my whole long life to give it,
I’d give it to you today.
A hasty, precious choice,
but you should know that
my perfect joy
is soft, blue,
close to
you.

fall-asleep-7
while you wait: the lobby is burning, with nothing but salivation to combat the flames start spitting
to each of us holding hands we sweat unbearably we drop our business cards in tin buckets hoping for the songbirds to choose our patches of earth, pick me please,
i've been fattening up the worms

they say my skin will be made anew in 7 years.
that I won’t have your touch on me
but it’s been 6 years since the first
and one since the last.
how can they both feel the same
being so far apart
I can’t shake the feeling
that at the end on my seven years
I’ll still feel the same as day one

Her (Lust)
The dip of her collarbone was divine,
The sweat glistening on her skin shimmered.
She kissed me rough, all I could taste was fine wine,
When she pulled away, I swear her eyes glimmered.
She panted heavily, grinned at me with those lips,
Rolled her eyes back and let me grip her hips.
Her curls spilled out in waves, a brown soft yet sticky,
She giggled softly, her middle name was intimacy.
Her hand roam me, tangles up my hair,
Her touch was addictive, she had a perfect flair.
She knows What she’s doing when she lies bare,
Her waistline robbing me of breathable air.
She rasps low, her breath hot,
In shadows where our desires are caught.
Careless murmurs weave a silken bond,
In the stillness, we drift beyond.
Her fingertips dance, just above my skin,
With every light graze, she ignited me within.
Our Souls entwined, a passionate plea,
In the quiet twilight, just her and me.
She parted her lips to moan and gasp,
Tips her head back to offer me her neck.
Takes my hand in hers, hastily clasps,
Leaves me high and an absolute wreck.
She shies away from daylight,
Never seen her in bright light.
I bet she’d be a sight,
Her skin porcelain, her eyes Celestine.
I drink her in, eager for the spell she casts,
Every dusk, She looks out the blank sky for a crack.
She leaves, only ever stays until the night lasts,
When the moon is reigns again, I know she’ll be back.
Love,
Anonymous.

guilt takes a hold of my tongue, holds a distorted mirror up to me, paints me red, monster, cruel,, so i keep quiet, suffocate under all the shame, i burn blue, barely breathing, cause i'd rather be seen as weak than angry,, clouds never get blamed for thunderstorms, but god forbid the sun shines too bright,, give me a break, i'm tired of burning for you, why cant you put the fire out and just hold me? you fan the flames and blame me for the wound.
// i shouldn't have to hold my tongue

Peel
What does it take to find  The truest version of ourselves To peel back all our layers Until we get to the core Of who we are?
What is left of a person When everything they know Everything they feel Everything they believe themself to be Is peeled away?
I wonder What I look like At my most authentic self When the truth of who I am Is revealed
I hope I’ll still be able to recognize The person staring back at me

The ending that made the entire world sob 😭 It still hurts and I never don't cry 😭 They should have stopped making movies after this (in my opinion). If I could have a wish though, I'd bring Paul Walker back, he was lost too soon.
