Hee-ho! Last week of the season already.

Normally I wait until the evening to post but this day got me so excited. ^^

First, new furniture rotation!

Just a handful of small things but I do adore more carpets.

Mostly candles again but my wallet is starting to feel light. --

And the best part today. Days of Color started!

Only 50 tickets for the cosmetics, this year. Pretty cheap considering you get five tickets per day. Last event took a lot longer to collect.

Like last year it takes place in the secret area in Daylight Prairie. Again with creating rainbows around the shrine.

But I absolutely love the floating islands in this area. They are so close to the outer atmosphere. Almost space even.

Genuine comfort place for me because of this. And flying through the rainbows is great. Especially with the music playing. ^^

They added Rainbow Road to this place! Full on slide with a race event! :D

Tried to get under one minute.

I have so much fun on this slide! I really wish this wasn't just event exclusive. I love this so much! The game needs more minigames. ;_;

Beyoncé - Work It Out 2002

"Work It Out" is the debut solo single by American singer-songwriter Beyoncé. It was released on June 11, 2002, as the lead single from the soundtrack album to the film Austin Powers in Goldmember, in which Beyoncé stars as Foxxy Cleopatra. It was later included on international editions of Beyoncé's debut studio album, Dangerously in Love (2003). Beyoncé co-wrote the song with its producers, Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo. It is an R&B song which incorporates elements of 1960s and 1970s funk and post-disco.

The song was generally well received by music critics, many of whom complimented its retro style and various influences. @peacemaker-ic makes a lot of incredibly-detailed, high-quality custom content sets for The Sims 4, and their Over The Rainbow set is certainly a one of the most beautiful! I had a lot of fun converting it. I hope you guys can finally enjoy using it for TS2 as well as TS4! 💘

Pomegranate-shaped rolls, in Hebrew, לַחְמָנִיּוֹת בְּצוּרַת רִמּוֹן /lakh-ma-nee-'yot be-tsoo-'rat ree-'mon/ – so fitting for Rosh Hashanah! 🍯🍎✨

Here’s the recipe – thanks to @misspetel.

Ingredients:

500 grams of flour, preferably bread flour

8 grams (1 tbsp) of dry yeast

50 grams (1/4 cup) of sugar

1 large egg

1 tsp of salt

35 grams (4 tbsp) of oil

2 tbsp of honey

240 grams (1 cup) of cold water

For topping:

Egg yolk diluted with 1 tbsp of water

Sesame seeds

Instructions:

1. In a mixer bowl, combine the flour and yeast, and mix.

2. Add sugar and mix.

3. Add the rest of the ingredients – egg, salt, oil, honey, and water, and knead for 10 minutes until you get a soft and smooth dough. The dough should be slightly sticky – if necessary, add a bit more water or flour.

4. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise until it doubles in size.

5. Divide the dough into balls, each weighing about 60 grams.

6. Place the balls in a circle on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving about 4 cm (1.5 inches) between each one.

7. Cover with a smooth towel and let rise again until doubled in size (or almost).

8. Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F).

9. Cut the leek into rings about 4 cm thick. Cut small triangles to create a crown shape.

10. Brush the dough balls with the diluted egg yolk, and place a leek crown on each ball. If desired, sprinkle with some poppy seeds, or for Rosh Hashanah – sugar crystals.

11. Bake for about 30 minutes, until beautifully golden.

12. Place a small bowl of honey in the center of the crown.

My boy Itachi grew up rich, I feel like he would be miserable with a minimum wage job lol. Probably has no clue what it's like to pay bills.

I honestly don't see Itachi surviving minimum wage. He can endure all kinds of abuse but everybody breaks under the influence of stupid customers. And like, imagine him having to pay for his meds. Unless we're talking free healthcare, Itachi's basically dead.

Okay, but serious answer: Yes, Sasuke and Itachi grew up rich but they did not grow up spoiled.

Fugaku and Mikoto were wealthy, probably due to Fugaku's status as clan head. They lived in a large, traditional Japanese house with a beautiful, idyllic garden. They did not spare any resources for their sons. Big spacious rooms, soft, double-sized beds, balconies with big windows, personal TVs, toys, books, you name it.

But here comes the catch: They are ninjas.

Growing up in a ninja family means hard work from early childhood on. You are six years old? Time to train to the point of physical injury! Passing out from exhaustion is normal for 6-year-olds, actually. So normal, in fact, it only warrants light scolding, rather than fulfilling your supervising role as a parent and ensuring your child doesn't kill himself.

And if your name's Itachi, consider yourself lucky because you get to earn money starting at the age of 7! Child labor laws who? (because yes, that is exactly what being a shinobi means - it is a job but with extra danger)

He specifically went on 340 missions in a span of approximately 60 months. That's 5-6 missions per month. For reference, Gai completed 788 missions in 276 months. That is 2-3 missions per month. Keep in mind that Gai is a grown-ass adult. Itachi is 12 years old max if you do the calculations.

And turning your own child into a spy is also totally fine. As a treat, they even get to be a spy for both sides! And carry a major political conflict on their shoulders.

And that's before Itachi gets forced/manipulated/coerced into committing a massacre.

So yeah. I think Itachi is already as miserable as it gets. He never struggled financially (as far as we know, because god knows what the Akatsuki were like) but he sure did suffer.

Kuro is a close second though, receiving 80.2% of the votes from the AKATSUKI poll. Some Notes

We have one new tag this month! Interestingly, Pirates SMP, despite being a child tag of Video Blogging RPF, is not a child tag of Celebrities and Real People, which puts it up with Slamacow Minecraft Animations (Web Series) and Minecraft (Video Game) as the only mcyt tags not officially considered RPF for sorting purposes. (Note: this is probably a bug.)

Fics are primarily in English, but now we have three exceptions with significant Spanish fics: Karmaland (691 works of 775, from 679 last month) , Tortillaland SMP (108 works of 113, from 106 last month), and QSMP (466 works of 3,833, up from 412 last month). QSMP also includes fics in Brazilian Portugese (175 works, up from 119 last month) and a few in French (19 works, up from 10 month).

In smaller SMPs, both SadSMP and Cogchamp saw a 3-fic decrease, one of the starker fandom decreases that I've seen. In terms of growth, Area Unknown SMP saw a 12-fic increase, Mer SMP saw a 14-fic increase, and New Life SMP saw an impressive 22-fic increase.

In mid-sized fandoms, it was the same three fandoms in a different order than last month. Fable SMP was the standout once again with 33 fics, though Evolution SMP saw a growth of 24 fics and Yandere High School saw 19 new fics.

For the larger fandoms, it was a reduced month from last month. Empires' 154 this month did not beat last month's 244 or the previous month's 218, 3rd Life's 340 this month did not beast last month's 395 or the previous month's 364, and Hermitcraft's 453 did not beat last month's 569 or the previous month's 501. Continuing the trend, Dream SMP's increase of 1,171 did not meet last month's 1,459 or the previous month's 1,376, and in fact the only fandom with a growth compared to July was QSMP, with QSMP's 725 this month not beating last month's 861 but Yes beating the previous month's 628. So the two-month run of increased growth that the bigger fandoms were turning out has definitely come to an end. Possibly the end of summer hit everyone's schedules hard.

Egon Leo Adolf Schiele, más conocido como Egon Schiele (Tulln an der Donau, Austria, 12 de junio de 1890-Viena, Austria, 31 de octubre de 1918), fue un pintor y grabador austriaco contemporáneo y discípulo de Gustav Klimt. Fue, junto a Oskar Kokoschka, el mayor representante del expresionismo austriaco. En su corta pero agitada vida produjo 340 pinturas y alrededor de 2800 dibujos.

Su vida estuvo rodeada por un aura de misticismo y de talento muy precoz. Entre su obra creativa figuran poemas y experimentos fotográficos. Su particular estilo lo situó entre los movimientos expresionistas, especialmente de la Secesión de Viena, con una tipología muy personal.

Las principales obras de Egon Schiele se conservan en Viena, distribuidas entre la Österreichische Galerie Belvedere y el Leopold Museum inaugurado en el año 2001 que es el que conserva el mayor número de obras. Asimismo, la mayoría de su gran colección de dibujos se encuentra en la Albertina, también en Viena.

Su temática asume una altísima tensión emotiva en la sensualidad, que se vuelve obsesión erótica, junto al tema de la soledad angustiosa. Schiele utilizaba una línea cortante e incisiva para expresar su propia realidad y para mostrar impetuosamente la dramática destrucción física y moral del ser humano. El color adquiere un valor autónomo, no naturalístico, resultando particularmente eficaz en sus muchas acuarelas y en sus diseños de alucinada tensión.

Su interés por el cuerpo es un hecho artístico, que pretende dar a conocer la parte fuerte y sensual de uno de los artistas más importantes del expresionismo. Schiele estuvo influenciado fuertemente en sus comienzos por Gustav Klimt pero, hacia 1910, su pintura se convirtió en un viaje de introspección psicológica.
