Episode 45

All Adaptations of Hana Yori Dango/Meteor Garden/Boys Over Flowers suffered from superfluous or filler material but as fans we often look pass it because we love the story.

Admittedly the last few episodes of Meteor Garden went down this road.

But one sweet thing was Daoming Si (DYLAN WANG) had a huge bouquet of flowers sent to his lady love Shancai (SHEN YUE) consisting of 520 flowers. So our Shancai decided to verify the authenticity of that number by counting the roses.

Shancai comes up with 519 and called her man to complain. While on the phone a knock at the door. Daoming Si appears with 520 watt smile and his hands behind his back.

Behind his back was a personal delivery of rose number 520.

Unnecessary (perhaps) but points for sincerity, love and and oh so sweet.

phantom 2006 is my second favorite out of the takarazuka adaptations of phantom because Haruno Sumire captured eriks little anger outbreaks so well

METEOR GARDEN (2018 CHINESE ADAPTATION)

Daoming Si (DYLAN WANG) moved next to his lady love Shancai (SHEN YUE) to protect her after she was nearly home invaded.

Of course he wasn't being completely honest all the time as he was going to his large mansion and sneaking back and forth.

He definitely meant well. He wanted to be near the woman he loves but he also has his mother and those pesky bodyguards that didn't guard his body.

They more often moved his body by force usually at his mother's request.

But in this moment he wanted a hug from his precious girlfriend Shancai.

Putting an extra text note on the poll too just because I'm seeing more of these types of comments on this poll than I have on many previous ones: Please read the pinned post of my blog and look at my original notes on this poll before asking why a certain version was not included.
