I know people of this generation who have never heard of Xena will never have that experience with them. But I very much want people of this generation to give watching the show and this ship a chance regardless.

I could wax poetic (and don’t think I wouldn’t enjoy every minute of doing so) about them forever but to truly understand how special they are and how epic their romance/love story is you really do have to see it for yourself, hear it for yourself, feel it for yourself,

This show was severely censored - and yet look at it. Look what they achieved. All because they wanted to.

Pretty much everything you have - both genuine and not - in WLW representation today started from them. They were the greenlight, the blueprint, the very first. And they still hold up incredibly well as genuine WLW representation in this day and age of TV art/entertainment for the simple fact that the creators actually tried to represent them for the right reasons. You may get that every now and again now… but you know for fact they won’t last anywhere near as long. In a lot of ways the fact they were not textually canon helped them a lot and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

to natsu, nalu is basically canon

i've had this thought for a while now but

i think natsu dragneel already has it in his mind that he and lucy are.... Together together. Girlfriend Boyfriend. Husband Wife. Married With Kids.

one day lucy gathers enough guts to confess to natsu and he just goes "lucy i dont get it why are you confessing are we not already together but yes i love you too you weirdo"

and lucy is like ... "what did you just say"

and we finally figure out that natsu basically thought they were dating this whole time. and lucy's losing her mind and going "why didnt you SAY anything???" and natsu, dumb dork that he is, just goes "you have to say it???"

AND I GET IT!!! like,,, she's his number one priority every time, sleeps at her house, spends most of his time with her, puts his head in his lap when he's motion sick, saves/catches her multiple times, basically has seen her naked (and only ever showed physical attraction to her and no one else), considers her his best friend and with happy they make this little quaint family, and he doesn't understand why she thought they weren't together. she rewrote his book ffs and saved his life.

HE UPROOTED A WHOLE RAINBOW TREE AND SAILED IT DOWN A RIVER FOR HER. even natsu dragneel, "i love my nakama" incarnate, wouldn't do that for anyone else. so of course he thinks they're together. and lucy just thinks they're tethering on the edge of romance and friendship.

in every universe there was, natsu and lucy were always together. edo-natsu and edo-lucy who have a kid now, and even in "fairy nail" nakku and lusha.

they're just meant to be Together in every way sense and form. natsu knows that!!!

Reigen telling Mob he's a liar so he'll have no business reason to keep him around anymore since he has no leverage so their relationship is purely love and Mob giving him the title of master at the end is so gorgeous it makes my ribcage shiver. I love Mob for his growth and huge relatability but I love Reigen for being the embodiment of humanity and acceptance. The way he gives his literal all into reaching Mob is such a powerful and love-filled scene. He's the only non-esper but also the only one who can reach him! Both physically and emotionally! And the first people Mob goes to when he gets rejected is Reigen and Dimple! He could have just gone home! But he wants his bros! And Reigen talks to him lightheartedly but still addressing that what happened happened when walking home because everything's okay! I love those guys and wish I could say thanks.
