I wish this would spring a conversation about how bad rape culture is in french culture specifically but no ig most people just wanna say "men are bad even the nice ones". Hi. I grew up in france. The "average French man" is not nice. Yes its that bad.

So there's this post with a troubling number of notes going around insisting that "dead dove" is not a genre, it doesn't inherently have anything to do with darkfic, and that the tag could be applied to fics that are "100% fluffy where everyone's having a good time" if they happen to contain some abnormal (though entirely non-problematic) content like an unusual kink. The claim is that "dead dove: do not eat" is simply a "courtesy tag" that means "this is a very specific niche, mind the tags." And that's just... wrong.

I wrote up a whole rebuttal to this post since I can't stand misinformation and frankly OP was being kinda rude and judgey on top of their wrongness. But right after I posted my reply, OP turned off reblogs because, and I quote, “some fuckwad added some dumb shit onto this post and it is no longer educational” (the “fuckwad” being me and the “dumb shit” being proof that they were wrong). A couple people have asked me to make a rebloggable version of my response, which I've decided to do because this isn't the first time I've heard similar claims and I want to help set the record straight. However, I'm not linking the original post on the off chance this gains traction because OP did the right thing by turning off reblogs, preventing it from circulating further, and I don't want them to get hate for being unfortunately misinformed.

For those who don't know the history, "dead dove: do not eat" was originally proposed as a catchall "hydra trash party" alternative label for any fandom to warn that the content of a fic may be considered problematic or potentially upsetting and to read the tags carefully so you know what you're getting into and won't complain later. Specifically, DD:DNE was intended to convey that the Bad Things in the fic would likely be reveled in and not explicitly condemned by the narrative, which some people tend to get up in arms about, hence the need for the extra warning in addition to the tags. Don't believe me? Here's the original proposal (note DD:DNE can be found on a handful of fics dated before 2015 but this is when it really took off and became a Thing).

There are currently around 50,000 fics tagged as "dead dove: do not eat" on AO3 and close to 50% of those also include the rape/noncon warning (which of course is not the only type of "dead dove" but is one of the most popular and most consistently tagged). The normal percentage of noncon fics in any given fandom? Around 1-3%. That's a HUGE disparity. So don't tell me that dead dove is just a general "courtesy tag" and doesn't or shouldn't have dark connotations. Even the context of the original joke on Arrested Development has a dark undertone. Micheal Bluth casually finds an animal carcass in a bag in his refrigerator with the label "do not eat", as if eating it would be any sane person's first thought. The whole situation is kinda fucked up. And this fucked up vibe very much carries over into fandom usage too, as was intended.

The claim that dead dove has nothing to do with the content's genre and could just as easily be used to describe a 100% fluffy fic in which everyone's having a good time is straight up Wrong, or at the very least, severely warping the original meaning. Also, when someone these days says that they like/dislike "dead dove" most people in fandom automatically understand what that means because of the consistency of its usage over the years and the way language evolves. Whether you like it or not, "dead dove" IS a genre now and the term does carry a specific connotation. I do agree that DD:DNE should definitely still be used in conjunction with other tags, when applicable, to be explicit about the exact type of fucked up content you may find, but to say that the term is meaningless on its own is patently false and I'm tired of people who don't know what they're talking about pushing this narrative and causing even more confusion.

You want a generic term that also means "mind the tags" and doesn't have any inherently dark connotations? Just use good ol' "what it says on the tin" instead of trying to force dead dove to be something it's not.

ITMF fics where Wei Wuxian is really harmed by the resentful energy / war/abuse injuries /starvation from surviving and then returning to live in the BM, and he and the Wens know: he is hurt, weak, slowly dying. Something with sad and depressed Wei Ying and the Wens, who try to take care of him while he still has some time and A-Yuan cheering him up. Maybe the whole cultivation world problem is a factor in Wei Ying giving up on his health and putting his all into protecting the Wens, who see and try to help however possible. Maybe Lan Zhan sees/thinks something is off and comes to them to help or at least spend time with them.

Maybe the siege happens anyway, maybe the plot changes (e.g. someone saves the Wens and helps Wei Ying, or they leave somewhere else, or they are left alone and become a village/sect), maybe Wei Ying dies/comes to the brink of death from poor health before someone can kill him, maybe he decides to accept and speed the process and break the Seal while sacrificing himself, maybe he slowly gets better. Overall, I really crave hurt and sick Wei Ying knowing the inevitable consequence of his poor health and getting comfort and love from the Wens (and any other people).

I am in the mood for a fic where there is a confrontation between Lan Qiren and Wei Wuxian. The most important part is that during the confrontation is that Wei Wuxian says that he does not respect Lan Qiren and does not believe he is worthy of respect. Lan Qiren is an awful teacher who never taught him anything. He is not a good disciple of the Lan sect as he breaks rules all the time. He is not a good uncle because he seems to put his own wants and needs before his nephews wants and needs. He is not a good person because he treats people unfairly and is prejudiced. Lan Qiren was disrespectful towards Wei Wuxian’s mother, a dead woman, for something she did years ago.

I just want a fic that addresses these points and shows that Wei Wuxian really doesn’t care about Lan Qiren and in fact really dislikes him. I would also like to see some karma visited upon Lan Qiren and for him to be shocked that Wei Wuxian, and maybe even most his or the younger generation, see him as a joke.

How long have you known that this is where Mysaria and Rhaenyra’s relationship was headed? Sonoya Mizuno: After I got the job and spoke to the showrunners, they said that this was a potentiality. They said the plan was definitely for Mysaria and Rhaenyra to start working together with a potential for romance. So I knew before we started Season 1. I think it was then we got the scripts for Season 2, and at the end of this episode, I remember it said, “Their foreheads are touching. There’s just breath between them. And then what happens next is interrupted.” But it didn’t define what the thing was that happened, and we had many conversations about it in pre-production and during production, but both Emma and I felt very strongly that we didn’t want the moment to be queer-baiting in any way, so there was that. But there was also kind of finding the truth of that moment and their relationship, and it felt very right that was where it was going. It was kind of a collaborative decision to get where it got to. 1-Sonoya was told from SEASON 1 that a romance with Mysaria and Rhaenyra was possible as their dynamic developed and became closer over the story. This wasn't sprung on her; it wasn't a last minute decision. It was something they had on the back burner as a romantic storyline to explore that they discussed from her initial casting.

2-Sonoya and Emma BOTH communicated with the creatives about a scene with strong queer subtext/an "almost" and decided together with them that it should be a proper kiss - they decided together, Emma again didn't spring it on Sonoya or the writers. It was a collaborative process.

And to everyone who keeps up the insulting, homophobic lie that Rhaenyra was "turned on by Mysaria's story of rape" or it was just a scene of manipulation on either part:

Did the writers of the episode leave it in your and Emma’s hands whether or not there should be a kiss?  Yeah, it was very much an ongoing discussion in pre-production and in-production. I think at some point the decision was it should be a kiss. It should be intimate. But how that moment happened, we didn’t actually plan until the day, and it was Emma who felt in that moment that Rhaenyra wanted to hold Mysaria and comfort her. She’d been so open with her and wanted to comfort her. I think the hug was so, in a way, enlightening for both of them because I don’t think either of them get hugged or have been hugged like that. I mean, when do you see people hug in House of the Dragon? You see people f**king, and you see people slapping each other on the back. There was something in that moment that felt so thrilling to be so intimately connected, and it felt then so organic to move into the kiss from there. I think our relationship has a kind of frankness to it, and it was there from the beginning. Mysaria was like, “This is what I’m like.” They had that frankness with each other, so to get to that place felt organic, and it also didn’t feel snaky in any way or manipulative on either part.

The DanDaDan trigger warning that everybody wants!

So. You’ve heard that DanDaDan is a new anime that everyone’s raving about. But you’ve also heard that there’s some sketchy/potentially traumatizing stuff! I’ll give you the objective run down, and then my opinion on it all.

First: sexual violence. There are scenes in the show and manga that portray attempted sexual assault. The first scene occurs in the first episode/chapter. The second scene occurs sometime around chapter 32 or 33 in the manga, and may or may not be covered in the last arc of the first season.

What actually happens: the first scene occurs during an alien abduction. The main character is stripped down to her underclothes and restrained. The aliens declare their intent to have sex with her (in other words, assault her). The two main characters ultimately beat the aliens, and the girl is physically unharmed.

The second scene: the same main character enters a bathhouse. Later, a group of men enter with the clear intention to assault her. She and another character successfully fight them all off, and she is physically unharmed.

Are these two scenes necessary? I don’t know, but they certainly serve their purpose—which is to be horrifying. It’s a horror manga/anime. The first scene is a “play” on probing and alien abductions, and makes it clear how invasive that actually is. The second scene serves to make humans the real monsters—after several arcs with aliens and yokai as the big bads, the tonal shift in realizing that this time, the enemies are human is stark.

So! You’ve heard there are some uncomfortable scenes, and you want to know if it’s worth watching/reading. In my opinion: yes, 100% yes. This is an absurdist horror/comedy story. A lot of the comedy comes from how absolutely absurd and irreverent the story is—a huge overarching storyline is finding one of the main character’s lost testicles, which take the form of shiny golden balls. This story plays on a lot of tropes and genres, including everything from Dragon Ball Z to Ranma 1/2. That being said! It’s also a horror manga/anime. And when this story leans into the horror, it leans hard. We are supposed to be horrified at the men who try to rape Momo. We are supposed to be horrified at the yokai who stalks her in the night, and at the demon who drives people to commit suicide. These scenes are not played for laughs—they may include absurdist elements (such as aliens declaring that they want humans “bananas” or the yokai that wants to “gobble that schlong”) but the viewer is supposed to be experiencing tonal whiplash. DanDaDan unironically has it all—horror, laugh-out-loud comedy, heart-wrenching tragedy, and a cast of compelling and lovable characters. It makes fun of all sorts of tropes in other shows, all with absolutely stunning art and action scenes. So if that’s something you’re interested in, then please check it out!

Hey everyone!

I've recently moved into a new apartment and the increased costs of rent and utilities has caused me to run dangerously low to having no money in my bank account. Given the fact that I can't get more hours at my job right now despite my best attempts, I thought I'd open up commissions again to see if I can help get some extra money for these upcoming bills.

Cost

In terms of the cost, it's $25 per 1k words and payment would be required upfront due to the aforementioned pressing issue of bills.

With this cost / pricing breakdown, please be realistic with the idea you'd like to see written in tandem with the cost you'd like to pay. I can admit that my writing is relatively lengthy and descriptive, so if you would like a fully detailed transformation, it would most likely be something that is 3k words minimum.

Despite my longer writing style though, I can certainly do a shorter vignette-style transformation that range from 1-2k words. If you'd like examples of these, my most recent posts on Tumblr would best fit that description!

Chapter 1

Summary: You dive down the memory lane and think about how you first met the love of your life, your husband, Daemon.

Note : This will probably be the most boring thing i have ever written..you are warned. Expect 3-5 parts (or I don't really know yet 😂)

“Ugggh i don't want to be here” Shelly mumbled next to you so you gave her a side eye, she never wanted to be there. There were a couple of guys demonstrating a product targeted towards women, a decorative ring designed for women that could potentially save their life while they were out clubbing or about doing anything literally,

At first look, the ring looked like any other ring, adorned with jewels and glimmering in the light. Although upon closer inspection you could see that it had a hidden compartment under the fake diamond stud.

Inside the compartment was a red button, a single press of which would send an emergency alert to the local authorities as well as several emergency contacts on your phone, not just that but it also shared the precise location on a live moving map.

There was a group of women watching the presentation take place so you took Shelly as you were really intrigued by the product and as well as the guy giving the demonstration.

His name was Daemon, Daemon Targaryen, he was the tallest guy you had ever laid your eyes on, 6’3 to be astute, he had bronde hair- a mix of brown and blonde, and the most intense eyes you had ever witnessed, he was charming and charismatic and it wasn't like you to get attracted so quickly so even you were surprised by your own behaviour that day.

“Sooooo ummm no offense but how does it work? Is it battery operated?” A girl asked him so he picked up the ring and walked towards her,

“Don't worry I won't pop the question to you” he joked and it made everyone laugh including you. He showed her the 2.0 mm charging point inside the ring so she nodded her head..

“But what if the creeps out there recognise the ring?” Another girl asked him so he went back to the table and picked up another ring from the box..

“They won't..every purchase comes with a fresh design.. see for yourself” he gave her the ring so she checked it out and gave it back to him with a nod of approval.

The longer he talked about it though the more people started to leave, people were not interested in buying the ring even though it seemed like something everyone should own, they kept leaving until it was just you and Shelly. That's when Shelly mumbled something in your ear and ran off as well.

You watched Daemon sighing, there was a defeated look on his face that you noticed immediately but since you were still there he didn't stop the pitch. As you raised your hand up he gave you a smile.

The kind of smile that you knew would only bring you trouble..

“How long it stays active after charging..what is the duration?’ you asked him so he looked at another guy with him that you came to know later was his cousin Aemond.

“We are working on it..it stays for 10 hours for now but we are definitely trying to make the duration longer without comprising the size of it”

“10 hours? That's good enough to find someone if they're in trouble or missing” He gave you a smirky smile as you said that. “So are you selling them?” You asked him and you could tell he was excited by the prospect of leaving this place with at least one sale.

“Of Course..it's 10 euros only” he told you so you pulled out your wallet from the purse.

“Cool I'll take three..one for me..for my friend and my mom”

“Great” he clapped his hand together in excitement before he spoke again “We've also developed an app that will allow you to sync the ring with your phone. Once the connection has been established, it will not be interrupted even if your phone gets misplaced or powered off.” he informed you so you nodded.

“All this for 10 euros though? That's..very affordable..do you even make any profit?” you asked him a genuine though a bit intrusive question so he smiled politely.

“That's not a priority at the moment..goal is to give every woman a chance to be safe” he said in big words that you could have interpreted as a marketing gimmick but when you had learned the reason behind why he had invented this thing, you had realized his words were not empty that day.

He made you walk with him towards the station and Aemond excused himself as he wanted to get a drink, it was a warm day in Birmingham that day.

Once he was done cutting the receipt , you grabbed the rings and wished him good luck with the startup but as you were about to walk past him you heard him calling your name again and your heart skipped a beat.

“Yes?” You turned around to look at him so he hesitated for a moment before he stepped towards you,

“Ummm apologies if this sounds inappropriate but how old are you?” you gave him a smile as he said that. You'd pass out if he was intending to ask you out on a date.

“Just short 21” his face fell down as you said that so you crossed your arms..

“Ohhh” he let out a sigh, there was a look of disappointment plastered all over his features.

You felt disheartened as he said that as for once in your life you were really hoping a man would ask you out, for once you found yourself being more into a man then he was into you.

Later on you had learned that the only reason he didn't ask you out that day was because he thought you were too young for him, he was twenty eight at the time and he didn't want to come across as a predator and a creep by dating a young girl in college. That went against everything he stood for.

But perhaps it was meant to be with you two because..Eight years later you were sitting in a restaurant waiting for him to get there so you could celebrate your four year wedding anniversary and he was late, as he always was at times but you understood that, he was a busy man.

What started as a small, humble operation was now a multimillion-euro company, all thanks to the vision and determination he had shown to make the world a safer place for women.

“God I'm sorry sweetheart” his voice made you snap out of your thoughts so you got up and hugged him tightly, the expensive cologne on the side of his neck comforted you immediately,

“It's okay..I just got here” you mumbled softly so he puckered his lips and shook his head.

He kissed you and made you sit back down again, at times like this he felt like a complete arse, sure he was doing this for both of you but he often felt as if he was making you feel neglected on occasions when he should have been with you, especially after everything you had done for him.

You were there for him when he had nothing in his name, when he was that eccentric bloke that went to women's colleges, workplaces and schools to sell a ring that nobody believed in at first..he had seen the worst of the life with you and in those moments he had decided that he was going to give you the best this world could offer you, he doused you in lavish gifts and fancy lifestyle, foreign trips and what not but deep down he knew all you needed from him was him. Just him.

After dinner and a few drinks as you both reached home you already had your hands on each other, that was one thing that never changed in your relationship with him, he was as passionate with you as he was the first night he had taken you like that, with his success and fame came several temptations on his way and you were not the most secure person, the older you got the more insecure you became of your looks, especially because of how he was desired so greatly by women younger than you but he made you feel as if you'd always be the only woman he'd desire in this way.

“Gods i have missed you babylove” he whispered in your ear before he trailed his lips down to your neck, he was on a work trip for a week and had just returned yesterday so the feeling was definitely mutual.

You loosened his tie while he unzipped your dress and picked you up to sit you down on the dresser, your fingers quickly worked the buttons of his shirt while his lips latched onto your neck.

“You're lovely you know that right? I don't think I told you how stunning you looked today”

You smiled sheepishly as he cupped your cheeks and kissed you while he murmured sweet honey into your ears.

“You did…twice actually” he smiled before he slipped your underwear down your legs, at times like this he couldn't really contain himself. Especially when he was away from you for days, the urge to get back to you and fuck you senseless would always eat him up. He had met you for the first time when you were just twenty one, and he always remembered you because you believed in his invention, you bought that ring that day and that memory was seared in his heart.

But you were too young for him, too innocent, so he didn't make his move that day. However the fate wasn't allowing him to move on from that encounter so it kept bringing you back to him until he had given into this feeling.

Next morning you woke up feeling tired but relaxed at the same time as he had completely worn you out. Nights like this were really affirming for you for several different reasons. He had already left for work, you grabbed your phone and called him but it went straight to voicemail so you put the phone down and sighed. Since you had your day off and had nothing much to do today you decided to call Shelly and your other friends to go for a brunch date.

Daemon was tired too that day and all he wanted to do was get back home early for once and surprise you since it was your day off. However he stepped into a silent house and an empty bedroom so he sighed and laid down on the bed with his business suit still on his body. He had organized the annual office party tomorrow so he knew he wouldn't get any peace moving forward.

He pulled out his phone to see if there was a text from you but there was nothing and he didn't want to disturb you if you were out shopping so he put it down and closed his eyes, it didn't take him long to drift into sleep.

As you returned home, you found Daemon passed out on the bed. Despite his exhausted state, he still managed to look adorable with his mouth open, that was one of his endearing qualities. You removed your heels, climbed onto the bed, and gently tucked his hair behind his ears. The sudden touch caused him to shift and wake up

“Hey theree” you mumbled softly as you climbed on top of him so he rubbed his eyes and gave you a smile.

“One day I come home early and you're not here to kiss me first thing” he feigned a hurt look so you gave him a pout..

“Sorry i didn't tell you, I was out for a brunch with Shelly”

"That's okay darling, I was jesting" Daemon said as he caressed your cheek with his fingers "How was your brunch?”

"Good, it's been long since we met so we had a couple of drinks" you said as you slowly undid his tie, you didn't understand how he was able to sleep like this.

“Sounds fun..” his smile dropped so you caressed his cheek with your thumb to bring his eyes back to you.

“What Is it? Work stuff?” you asked him softly.

“Mmmm ..I just..it's not that, i came home today and you weren't here and I just..felt sooo lonely..I'm not whining I'm just..is that how you feel when I'm not here for you?” He asked you softly so you leaned down and kissed his forehead.

“What do you want me to say?”

“Start with the truth and then you can sweeten it up to preserve my fragile ego” you chuckled as he said that

“I miss you of course.. would i want you to come back home like a normal guy once the work hour ends? Of Course i would but you're not a normal guy, you were born to do something great with your life and I'm here to support you all the way to the end..”

His eyes teared up as you said that so he flipped you around and laid you underneath him, you took his jacket off as he kissed your neck,

“That's not true..you were doing this even before you met me..you would have done this with or without me–” he placed his thumb on your lips before you could go down this road,

(Long semi rant trying to dissect what the basis of stolitz bond is supposed to be)

Some time ago Viv liked fanart of Blitzø holding a broken gold chain round his neck tearfully saying “please don’t get rid of me” so she knows his reaction is Stockholm syndrome not love but she’s trying to sell it as love? Going by her “what are you doing here then?” Line from stolas, she thinks him crawling back and begging to be sexually abused again, means he is in love and wants stolas to be his boyfriend. Christ.

She’s really struggling to write their supposed connection. If it requires a tertiary character like Millie or Fizz to state it to us, that’s not enough. Millie made him mad, and Fizz was saying “well your jokes are so bad that anyone laughing at them proves how in love they are!” I mean cmon. That’s nothing. Everyone laughs at the jokes of a guy they want to fuck.

It’s never organic. Either someone purchases one of them to be owned by the other, or the person is forced against his will by some contrivance, to leave his home behind and get stuck with the other. Vivzie sees this force, coercion and transaction as the strings of fate connecting their pinkie fingers. Is she deranged?

I guess he blushed at stolas ugly human form and made weird faces during All 2 U, and even though she strongly established him as not wanting to have sex with stolas all throughout season 1 and the start of season 2, she’s trying to go back and tell us he actually did? The evidence being his photo on his phone, where the phone inexplicably hovered above then both without Blitzø holding it at all, and his confusing horny song at Full Moon. Stolas is a guilt-ridden rapist trying to overcome his lust and domesticate a prostitute his father bought him as a kid 25 years ago, who can’t fathom love and has severe mental health issues. The rapist then gaslights and devalues the prostitute in public shaming, until he sees the rapist as superior to him and accepts all abuse as deserved. He feels like he has to win his abuser back to prove his own worth. Then once the prostitute sees the rapist has an abusive wife, starts dating him like he always demanded. That’s her magnum opus.

I think she just can’t comprehend the psychology of someone who’s been forced to have sex with another person over and over. Gross as it is, you can become accustomed to it and try to find power in it. This is the psychology of sex trafficking. And in general, she doesn’t understand Blitzø at all. She can’t understand someone not loving stolas. She thinks that someone compartmentalising the trauma and forcing themselves to be into it, kindve a “fake it til you make it” type deal, she thinks that’s a sign someone is attracted, and falling in love. In that case I hope she stays away from victims who’ve become attached to their rapists. She would tell them they protest too much and need to grow up, stop letting their self hatred make them imagine abuse that’s totally not real and just assuming the worst, and settle down with them.

Sorry, take from this what you will, or don’t, it’s just my long winded dissection for anyone willing to read it.

What is it about Sansa stans and Jonsa stans in particular that they love to justify Catelyn's abuse of Jon? I have even read a post from one them saying 'Bastardphobia is justified'.

This person has a whole post about how Sansa was forced to love Joffrey - there is no evidence of this in the books at all! Their Sansa tag is full of this version of a Sansa who is always treated badly by her family. Jon Snow on the other hand - how dare he complain, Catelyn was a saint!

Part 1: Everyone falls

Before everything had took a turn for the worse you were with Kyle too which Price knew about but had chose not say anything because of the potential he had saw in you both and the fact that regardless of your relationship it did not interfere with the teams overall dynamic and efficiency.

Price is especially fond of you often times thinking of you as a favored protege or a daughter, it’s somewhere along those lines.

Ghost has a not so secret thing for you which had started out entirely innocent, before you and Kyle had gotten together Soap would often encourage him to try to take things further and ask you on a date but it almost never worked out.

But you and Kyle had fit seamlessly together in a way that made sense and had came so naturally that the chemistry was so unreal. You both had brought the best out in one another and others had often viewed you both as endgame.

It made Ghost feel insecure and had caused him to shut his own feelings down for you as a way of protecting himself.

Sadly Task Force 141 would soon be torn apart at the hands of Makarov and his protege Nikolai.

Nikolai had infiltrated the 141 under the guise of William, who was from the rural area of Rutland in the East Midlands.

Over a period of time “William” had gained the team’s trust (not really Ghost) and had made himself an integral member of the task force. But little did you all know that all of Williams action’s were deliberate and meant to lead the 141 into a carefully planned trap.

Both he and Makarov had captured you, Ghost and Soap and rather than kill you both he had decided that he would much rather send all three of you back broken beyond repair to Price especially you, Price’s most favored.

But Makarov had decided to let his protege Nikolai make the choice of what form of torture he’d like to enforce, it wasn’t until then that all three of you had saw his true colors.

Nikolai had raised a gun to your head instructing you to strip bare in front of your teammates to which you did but he wasn’t satisfied and was rather miffed that you did so with a steely, guarded face.

His eyes drifted to Soap refusing to look at your bare body out of respect for you, not only as your teammate but most importantly your best friend.

It was then a sick, smug grin slithered across his face, he turned his attention to Soap and slowly walked towards him and tilted his head with his gun underneath Soap’s chin.

“Hey Soapy bitch? Isn’t she a fine woman? I can see why Gaz is so how you say “touchy” with her” his grin seems to grow even wider as he looks out of the corner of his eye and sees Ghost angrily clench his hands together

Nikolai looks back to Soap and coldly looks at him in the eyes and says

“I want you to rape her”

And it was in that moment you could feel the atmosphere grow colder as if Death was looming not far away from where you had stood but you refused to break under Makarov’s cold, indifference.

“Fuck you” Soap says and Nikolai gets up with a shrug and soon points his gun to your head and before he could pull the trigger Soap screams reaching for Nikolai but is soon shot in the head by Makarov.

Soap falls before you and Ghost, his once shiny blue eyes now dull and devoid of life.

You want to cry, you want to reach for his body and beg for him to come back but you can’t, you can’t because you know that it can mean the end for you too.

Out of the corner of your eyes you can see Ghost, you can see his resolve slowly crumbling as his best friend lays before him but before you and him know it Nikolai’s screeching laughter interrupts your shared feelings.

“Oh I know I know how about this!” He calls for more men and they surround Ghost and he instructs them not to kill Ghost but make sure you watch what they are about to do.

They brutally beat him, Nikolai tells him that if he fights back they won’t even bother raping you they just tie you to the back of their truck and drag your bare body across the ground till your nothing but scraps.

So he takes every kick and every punch but the one thing he won’t do is scream, cry or beg and little by little he feels that what’s left of him his slowly breaking as he watches your resolve break. Now he doesn’t see you, he sees a broken, frightened woman crying; you almost reminded him of a child if it weren’t for the fact that you were naked.

He wishes that you didn’t choose this way of life, he wishes that he had the courage to finally confess his love for you. He wishes to tell you that Soap said you’d both go good together, he wishes that Soap was his best man and that he was alive. Ghost wishes for so many things but in some sick twisted way he knows that those dreams would never come true. Soap is gone and he doesn’t even know how far gone you are and he doesn’t even know if he has the strength to pull you both from this.

Finally once this is over and he wakes from consciousness he can hear you screaming for him to wake up and he looks at you and sees you still standing, shivering and he sees Nikolai sitting there waiting for him to wake up.

“Have a nice rest lover boy? Thought you’d never wake up, we were almost gonna have some fun with the pretty baby but looks like you beat us to it”

Ghost shuts his eyes breathing heavily trying to steady what’s left of his resolve and shakily gets up

“Oh my! Look at you! Good for you big boy doing all the hard work of lifting you for us we should make you one of us!” Nikolai laughs and he walks towards you and his cocky nature calms, it turns more sadistic and he waits for Ghost to stand at his full height.

“Cause we’re not done because now your gonna TAKE her and your gonna thank me for it because even the flys on this wall know you want her and if you don’t well tsk tsk maybe I’ll cut parts of her off and feed her to you and in a way that’s pretty romantic don’t you think?”

I am so excited to be back to host this event for the fourth year in a row. I have a fun new list of prompts to get into the spirit of Valentine’s Day with some of our favorite Thedosian characters, and I cannot wait to see what this years list sparks for all of you!

Who can participate?

Anyone over 18 years old can participate! This event will allow adult themes and NSFW content, so unfortunately minors are asked to kindly please not to participate. Please make sure your posts are tagged as NSFW (lemons, etc) if they fall into that category, and tag anything potentially triggering.

How long does the event run?

The event will run for the month of February. Even though the prompts list only has 14 prompts, I want it to be a fun and relaxed event, so I am not putting deadlines on content submissions. Don’t have a piece of fan art/fanfiction finished on the 1st for the first prompt? No big deal! Just submit your content when you finish it and I will reblog it regardless of the date. The last day to submit your pieces for the event will be the 28th so make sure you post them before the end of the day to have them added to the event page.

Which fandoms & pairings will the event cover?

The event will be open to pairings from any of the Dragon Age games, novels, etc. Any pairing from the fandom as a whole, including rare pairs, are allowed and encouraged as long they are respectful to the character. Please make sure you tag your posts with your ship pairing!

What kind of content is allowed?

The event is open for original works of fanfiction, fan art, 2D and 3D rendered pieces. No mood boards or playlists please for copyright purposes. NSFW content is allowed as long as it is between two consenting characters. This is supposed to be an uplifting feel good event, but I understand the need for conflict, angst and drama in certain pieces to build a mood. However it should go without saying that any ‘dark’ content will be frowned upon and will not be added to the event page. 

Here is a list of content that will absolutely NOT be permitted for the event;

A married Missouri substitute teacher is charged with offering money, booze and pot to students in exchange for sex — including with one boy she slept with on a gravel road, according to police.

Carissa Jane Smith, 30, of Dixon, would pay off the students to keep quiet about the encounters, which occurred from August 2023 to September 2024, in return for sex or for allowing her to perform oral sex on them, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.

One of the victims claimed that Smith, who has children, forced him to ejaculate inside her.

“That was f—ked up,” he told her, according to charging documents. She then allegedly offered him more money.

Smith, who formerly taught in the Dixon R-1 School District, would have sex with the students at various locations, including her home, on the side of the road or even on gravel roads, police said.

One young victim told police he was in middle school when Smith asked him to have sex.

The victim said he first met Smith while she was substitute teaching and gave him her Snapchat contact.

“Smith began sending them pictures of her breasts and buttocks, along with her nude in the shower,” court documents obtained by the Daily Mail state. 

The alleged predator then offered the student money in exchange for sex — but told him to keep his mouth shut.

“[The victim] stated Mrs. Smith told them not to talk about it or else they would get into trouble. Mrs. Smith stated, ‘You know you can’t talk about this with anybody?'” court documents said.

She would typically pay the students $100 to have sex with her or to let her perform oral sex on them but also paid them in alcohol and marijuana.

In one encounter, Smith smoked marijuana with the victim and Smith’s friend Lacey Beam — a former school nurse for the Dixon School District, according to the documents.

Smith dropped Beam off at her home and then took the boy to McDonald’s because her husband was at her home with their children, the docs said.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said she could face additional charges if more potential victims come forward. 

Smith was hired in September 2022 as a long-term substitute for Dixon Middle School, according to the Kansas City Star. 

She was later hired as a paraprofessional and long-term substitute with Dixon High School before she resigned in August 2024.

Dixon R-1 School District Superintendent Travis Bohrer said in a letter to parents on Wednesday that the district learned of the allegations against Smith earlier this year, but was not able to comment as the investigation was ongoing.

The district cooperated with the sheriff’s office and the administrators conducted their own internal investigation.

“This is very disturbing and distressing information for everyone in our school community,” Bohrer said of Smith’s arrest, adding that the district has been in contact with families of the victims.

She was arrested Nov. 12 and is being held on a $250,000 bond.

She’s charged with eight counts of statutory rape; one count of sodomy; three counts of sexual contact with a student; two counts of sexual misconduct with a student; one count of patronizing prostitution; two counts of sexual trafficking a child; and two counts of hindering prosecution.

Dixon is about 130 miles southwest of St. Louis.

Oh Orla….Thing that cracks me up about these puritan idiots is… they’re simping for fictional special forces operators, you know, people who’s job is to potentially kill people. Sure they’re a very flowery, sensationalised version and there’s nothing wrong with not liking the stuff you or I write (block, move on, go do your maths homework kid.) My stuff isn’t for everyone, and that’s fine I respect all opinions if handled properly.

Every piece of fanfic is technically inaccurate to the character and how they’d act and that’s fine, that’s what it’s for, for fun. Just stop acting like grown adults that give plenty of fucking warnings on their blogs and posts about the dark nature of their work are the weird ones when you can’t even comprehend the actual nature of the media you’re consuming 😂

Also… know how they never actually go things with consequences? Like… say how some aspects of the porn industry harm REAL people? Yeah, nah, they’re fighting the good fight, making such a difference to the world with their vague posts about you/us writing a non existent soldier as something short of a fairy, angelic prince ahahahaha.

absolutely, you're so right about this -- it's the fact they're more worried about dark fiction writers than actual victims of SA and rape. they don't actually care about them, they just can't handle someone else having another opinion, or writing something that's not made for them. it's beyond immature, and insulting those who use it as coping mechanisms, telling them to go to therapy, it's childish (reading non-con to cope is a great coping mechanism, some therapist's may recommend it. and, they're clearly not thinking about how hurtful and damaging their words are to survivors and victims of SA, telling them they're gross for liking it, while claiming to support victims is immature.)
