Veraia was not alone when she was kidnapped by the mindflayers, but she was by the time the ship crashed...

Her wife, Sola, never left her ilithid pod - in fact, Sola was turned just before they made it to the helm. Were it not for Shadowheart and Lae'zel, Veraia may have stayed with Sola's pod until the crash. Instead of staying, Veraia channelled her anger and grief into burning her way through the helm.

In the days after the crash, Veraia was very volatile. She was angry, arrogant, and prone to fits of pyromania. Shadowheart kept her grounded as best she could, but she could only do so much to contain the Inferno of Faerun.

Tazengar, another survivor of the crash, bore the brunt of the hostility, though he certainly did not deserve it. It would not be until the Emerald Grove was freed from the goblin threat that Veraia would apologise to him.

To those she meets after the ship crash, Veraia appears haughty and pompous. It is a veneer of snobbery learned from her noble upbringing - a defence mechanism to keep the inferno in check. Beneath that haughty façade is a passion that burns brighter than any flame. She will not let her love's death be in vain. She will find the source of this parasite and destroy it.

Goodbyes

(I wrote this ages ago about Corinne when she decided she was leaving Neverwinter)

If one thing could never be taken away from Corinne Reynellis, it was the feeling of the sea air on her skin. She could lose her vision, have to read by touch, have to learn to navigate the world all over again… but the sea air was something that she would never forget. The evening breeze and the Neverwinter air had this one-of-a-kind feeling, as though Selûne herself blessed all who basked in its peaceful beauty.

Corinne did not feel blessed.

She was still healing. The healer had told her that it would take time. He had done all he could. To have both colours and light back in her sensory repertoire was a miraculous thing, but it wasn't enough. Sounds were louder. Scents were stronger. Tastes were richer. Everything was… bigger. But it wasn't enough.

"I thought I'd find you out here."

Sudden noises started her these days. But not his voice. Never his voice. He was too gentle to startle anyone. No, his voice made her smile. She felt a shift in the bench as Toby Fraser sat.

"I heard some of the maids talking. They said you were leaving."

Without the ability to read his face, Corinne caught the complexities of his tone. He wasn't mad. He was confused. He was upset.

Corinne swallowed.

"I can't work here anymore. Not properly."

She expected the hand on her shoulder. It still made her jump though.

"Sure you can," Toby said. "You've got that dog, right? You can use him. Isn't that what he's for? Like a guide dog or something?"

Corinne pinched the bridge of her nose and shook her head. Gweledded was a wonder. He was a fey dog who could help her in so many ways, and yet the work of a lady's maid - of an arcane protector - required her to be at the top of her game in every way. How could she do that if her range of vision surpassed little beyond colours and shades of light? On the ground next to her, her new familiar lay his head in her lap.

"Kind of. It's tiring using our connection like that for long periods of time. Gwel's only a short term solution, really. I can't protect Lady Elenaril through the eyes of a dog - it wouldn't work. And, truth be told… I've got somewhere else to go."

She looked across to him. And while he was a mass of colour, that soft brown hair would always be his.

"I'm going to Baldur's Gate. To Briel's School of Magic - they can help me adjust my magic, and Marsali went there, so I have a way in."

The feeling of Toby's arms wrapping her in a hug was a well-needed one. She clung to him for just a little longer than necessary. This wasn't a goodbye hug. It was a "see you later" hug.

"Love ya, mate."

As she hugged him, she whispered in his ear.

"Love you too, gariad." The elvish term of endearment danced off her tongue with ease as the two broke their embrace. She spoke many languages, but none felt as natural with her accent as the language of her employers.

"Honestly, Toby, it'll feel like I was never here soon enough. And if you're ever missing me-- here."

From her pocket, Corinne drew three folded pieces of paper. The ink, which had only recently dried, replicated a poem she'd had memorized since childhood. The graceful penmanship of Lady Elenaril Menzel was evident.

She pressed the pages into Toby's hand.

"Lady Elena helped - she wrote it as I recited it. It's my mum's poem."

The smile in his voice was clear as the sunset before them. "The stupidly long one?"

"That's the one."

Toby snorted. "Only you would leave poetry to remember you by."

This was why Toby was her best friend. He could turn the most heartfelt moment into a laugh. She smacked his arm - not maliciously, but playfully.

"Well, you're never going to remember anyone else by a poem so long the most wound up of people could calm down by the end of it, are you, you nutter?"

Her head now resting on Toby's shoulder, a sense of serenity fell over Corinne Reynellis. Her best friend. Her familiar. The Neverwinter breeze. Not a "goodbye" - a "see you later".

Nothing would ever feel as peaceful a Neverwinter sunset with Toby Fraser.

John. John is daddy. He is THE daddy (canonically since he literally told the reader she could call him daddy in chapter 11). He is the least likely to react to being called daddy because he knows that he is daddy.

Johnny. Might take him by surprise at first, but he's immediately undoing his belt and pulling down his pants call him only that from now on. Soap? Johnny? No, he is daddy.

Simon. Surprised at first, perhaps a bit taken aback, but he's not turned off by it. Probably didn't think he was into it, but being called daddy awakens something in him.

Kyle. Least likely to expect it. Does a double take, pauses and short circuits for a moment when he hears daddy. Probably isn't that into it, but if that's what you want to call him, then he's daddy now.

Mephiles/Iblis/Solaris wants to punish humanity. the Tailstube Sonic lore is that humans come from the mainlands and animal people come from islands so if Iblis only devastated the mainlands with humanity then the islands would all become arctic tundras with the sun blocked out for 200 years

i think people give elise too much shit for her little outburst at the end of sonic 06 because if i was running a country at 17 and had been repressing my emotions for 10 years straight and one day i got kidnapped like 500 times and ended up befriending the guy who rescued me and while spending time with him i felt like i really got to be myself and have fun for the first time in forever and formed a really meaningful relationship with him only for some weird demon rat thing to show up and kill him right in front of me just to make me cry so the destructive fire god that my dad sealed inside my body would be unleashed and then in order to save the world i had to reset the timeline and forget we ever met i would have become the joker

Nobody Remembers The Events Of Sonic 06

May people have in the past claimed Sonic, Shadow, and Silver or just those one characters remember the events of Sonic 06. But it has been show multiple times no of them remember the events of 06, but can recognize some things or have things seem familar.

For starters in Sonic X Shadow Takeover - All Answers (+ Bonus!) at 26:08 when asked about Elise, Sonic just askes who Elise is. In Sonic X Shadow Generations while Mephiles who was erased from the timeline remembers Shadow, Shadow does not remember him. In the Sonic The Hedgehog 900th Adventure IDW Comic Sonic visits Tropical Jungle and says he recognizes the place. In Sonic Rivals Sonic and Silver meet for the first time. And finally in Sonic Colors Silver says it feels like him and Blaze have teamed up before.

Infrequent Sonic ('06) facts - Soleanna and its cuisine.

In Soleanna New City you can come across an NPC who will discuss the cuisine of Soleanna. What he reccomends is based on the Hedgehog's campaign and the time in the Campaign. Each foodstuff relates to their hedgehog and their tastes.

Sonic: The Frite sandwhich

Sonic's is the frite sandwhich; it is described as a local junk food favouite, it is made of fish, vegetables and lemon juice inside a bun and is then deep fried. Similar to Sonic's beloved chili dogs they are a fast and easy meal that are easy to enjoy on the run.

Shadow: The Soleannan Crab

Similar to Sonic, Shadow is offered advice on seafood, however. Shadow's is the more refined Soleannan crab. Described as being world-famous due to its juicy meat and intense flavour - turning down a Soleannan crab is said to be akin to turning down a date with Elise herself.

Silver: Soleanna's fruits

Unlike Sonic and Shadow, Silver is instead offered advice on the fruits of Soleanna - perhaps alluding to his love of apples. Of all the fruits, the Soleannan apples are world-famous, decribed as being crispy yet bursting with sweet, flavourful fruit. They are even used in all kinds of Soleannan cooking as a 'hidden flavouring'.

End of the game: Desert

Fitting for the end game, if you visit him again with any hedgehog once you have finished their campaign, the man will tell you about tasty Soleannan deserts including their sorbets made with fresh fruits.

The Scar

When picturing Lady Veraia Cavaris, scars are perhaps not what immediately springs to mind. And yet, she has a very distinctive one running through her right eye.

She could lie and make the story heroic. She could have been fighting a dragon or defending a small village. But why would she? It wasn't anything as heroic as that. When she and Sola were travelling to Baldur's Gate for the first time - before they were even married - they came across a ruin. They were at least four days' walk from the nearest village, and running low on supplies.

They took shelter in the ruins to get out of the rain. How were they to know the place was crawling with undead?

During the fight, Veraia was caught by debris. Not even a skeleton or a spell - debris! - and in all of the commotion, it was Sola that got them out of there alive. Veraia had no aim, a piece of old, jagged glass in her face and no healing potions left. To put it short, it was the worst accidental dungeon crawl to not end in a total party kill.

With four days of travel after that and no healing spells or potions, the best they could do was sew the wound up and hope for the best. Centuries-old glass, though? That's just asking for trouble.

So, no. The scar on Veraia's face was not gained through heroic means. It was gained through an accident, poor planning and a miracle that she didn't die of sepsis. However, something good did come from all of this... it was the event that led Veraia to propose to Sola. Because if Sola was willing to drag her along for four days as dead weight, just so she could be healed? Then she must have truly loved her.

Veraia lost the vision in her right eye. But she gained a wife, so who's the real loser, when you really think about it?

More tame and domestic CRCB thought since it lives rent-free in my mind:

Price has to REALLY watch Omega when they take her to the store, especially if she veers towards the skincare section. He made the mistake once of letting her just throw shit in the cart, thinking it was a lot, but maybe she's really intense about skincare. Whatever.

Until he finds her smearing a peel-off mask over his nose because he has blackheads. She's on his lap, holding his face as tight as she can so he can't look away.

Soap and Gaz probably seek her out. Gaz, I imagine, probably takes pretty good care of his own face. Has his own skincare. Soap uses a bar of hand soap and cold water, but he runs to her like a puppy once a week just to have his face massaged with whatever she deems necessary.

Ghost gets off easy. Until he starts taking off his mask. Then she's chasing him with makeup remover and cotton pads to scrub off the eyeblack that he sleeps in because 'it'll rub off eventually anyway.'

I mean, Price probably has to watch the reader whenever they go to a store period 😂 girl be loading up the cart with lots of things.

Oh but absolutely. The reader and Kyle are double teaming the skincare of the other three. Jumping them when they least expect it and trying to get them to just use a moisturizer 😭

Johnny so likes the facial part. He likes to be pampered by someone else, but doing it himself?? Nah. No thank you.

The reader and Kyle have a full breakdown whenever Simon takes off the mask. Man probably has acne and permanently stained eyelids from the eyeblack he never washes off. Kyle holds him down while the reader sits on him and aggressively cleanses his skin and puts a mask on him 😂 it becomes a regular thing after that.

if Blaze collects the Sol Emeralds and is from the Sol Dimension and Sonic has Chaos Emeralds, does that mean he's in THE CHAOS DIMENSION!?
