hey guys so i try not to get political on my socials since i want to bring joy rather than anxiety with my stuff

but recently especially within these past two days since trump’s inauguration i can’t stay quiet. our rights are getting taken away. he is trying to silence the minorities; deporting, removing laws that protect people in the workplace, moving our country back in time. he is actively working against the progression of rights in favor of the rich men at his side.

tiktok? that was propaganda. meta is now becoming a setting for propaganda. x has been prolog and a. this isn’t the country we have fought so hard to preserve. this is becoming a country where convicted felons take office and limit people’s rights. this isn’t america. this isn’t our home. we are in danger.

trump being in power has already had devastating effects on our freedoms and rights. he has repealed all acts relating to climate change that biden stated during his term. he has gotten rid of the civil rights act of 1964 which abolished workplace discrimination. he has quite literally undone decades of progression in a matter of hours.

you may think this doesn’t affect you. that this doesn’t apply to you. but i beg of you; do research. find the facts that aren’t twisted to fit the liberal or conservative narrative. find cold hard facts and look at them. because while you may think that this isn’t your problem, it sure as hell is. your friends. your family. the people closest to you. you will all be affected by this.

you don’t have to sit around and do nothing. in a time of hate find peace and fight back. there are people out there that need help. that are suffering all because one man is in power. please speak up. speak up for your rights. speak up for those who can’t. don’t be afraid. because this is still a country founded on freedom. and no one can change who we are. not by declaring deportations, not by declaring there are only two genders, and not by silencing us.
