hello hi! hope you're doin good! i was wondering, could you do prompt 2."things you said through your teeth" for RebelCaptain from the mini-fic ask game, pretty please?
Hello, hi --thank you so much for the ask!! This one got out of control a bit (I actively had to pull myself back from allowing it to totally spiral) so I don't think it classifies as a drabble anymore (oops), but I hope you like it! đ
đ
things you said through your teeth
When it comes to Cassian Andor, Jyn finds herself lying both to herself, and others, a lot...Â
The day the medics decide it is time to try and wake Cassian from his coma, she is sitting on the floor just outside his room, back pressed against the cool wall, intermittently pulling her legs in so a passing rebel does not trip on them.Â
Anxiety tickles at her insides, pressing at her nerves, forcing her muscles to twitch, trapping her in a useless cycle of fidgeting and tense, heavy sighs. She cannot seem to stop the memories that invade her mindâŚÂ
The half-smile heâd managed, even through extreme pain, when heâd come back for her, caught her eyes from the other end of a smoking blaster.Â
Staring into his eyes on the elevator. Sheâd expected relief, to no longer care now that the mission was doneâwhat else was there? But instead she had caught herself wishing for more time. Maybe there were some things still unfinished after allâŚ
His arms around her on the beach, the odd wave of contentment that had washed over herâŚ
Will he remember those moments too? How will he look at her when they finally see each other again?Â
She tells herself it doesnât matter, why should it? She tells herself her restlessness is merely a matter of concern for a friend.Â
(Even if her heart is pounding the moment the medic appears to tell her he is awake, she can come see him if she wantsâŚ)
She is sitting across from Bodhi in the mess hall, watching Cassianâs figure retreat, studying the limp he tries to hideâthe one that means heâs in more pain than usual todayâreflecting on the serious expression that had remained fixed on his face all through their meal, the food on his plate that had been seemingly forgotten, barely more than a bite consumed. Â
âDo you want to go after him?â Bodhi asks, eyes fixed on her nearly as intently as her own are fixed on Cassian. There is something to his gaze, another question that is going unspoken.Â
âNo,â Jyn says quickly, tearing her eyes from Cassian and returning them to her lunch. She picks up her fork and stabs at mystery meat with what could perhaps be defined as unusual intensity. âNo, of course not. Why would I?â
Bodhi shrugs, âSeemed like you wanted to.â
âNo,â she says again. The third time in less than a minute, as though she is running lines for a play, committing the act to memoryâas though she will become more convincing with practice. âI donât want toâŚâ
âGet this,â Melshi raises his flask to his lips once more, cheeks a cheery pink as he laughs, âone of the new recruits made a pass at our very own Captain Andor today.â
Jyn stiffens, fingers tightening on her glass, eyes jumping to Cassianâs face.
He shakes his head at his friend, gives a small, good-natured smile.Â
âOooh really?â Han smirks, turning with interest. âDo tell.â
Jyn stands abruptly and every person seated around the fire raises their heads to look at her, confused. âI have an early morning,â she mutters, reaching for the nearest bottle and lifting it in acknowledgement to her companions. âGood night.â
She marches away, feeling the quiet, the curiosity that she leaves in her wake, settling over the group like a fine layer of dust. She ignores it, takes a swig of the liquor straight from the bottle as she traces her way down the dim hallway. Eventually, the sound of laughter and easy conversation returns, an echo that grows fainter and fainter with each desperate step she takes.Â
âJyn, wait!â Cassianâs voice calls after her, and she knows it is his hand she feels land on her shoulder and pull her around.Â
Her core tightens as though preparing for a blow, an instinctive layer of armor that is enough of a reminder of self to borrow strength from. She raises her eyes to look at him, face carefully blank. âWhat do you need?â she asks, tone even, formal.Â
For a moment she thinks sheâs somehow hurt him, because his hand drops from her shoulder and his eyes hold a flicker of doubt. âIâm⌠Iâm sorry about that,â he gestures at the fire behind, âback thereâŚâ
She ignores the acrobatics of her stomach, gives an unbothered shrug. âWhat about it?â
âI didnât⌠I mean⌠Nothing happened. Between me and the woman Melshi mentioned.â
âItâs fine, I donât care,â she says, jaw clenched tight, words barely making it past the lump in her throat. âNot my business.â
And she quickly turns and walks away, feels his eyes follow her into the darkâŚ
Thereâs a knock at her door, soft but insistent, and Jyn sets aside the half-drunk bottle of liquor, regarding the shuttered entrance to her room from the steady surface of her bed.Â
Itâs only a few steps away, but right now it seems like hundreds, more than she truly wants to be bothered with. âWho is it?â she calls. âCan it wait till morning?â
Thereâs a pause, she thinks maybe the person has given up, or realized they knocked on the wrong door. âNo,â Cassian says, voice muffled.Â
She reaches under the mattress and pulls out a monitor, clicks it on to check the camera she had set up in the hallway to guard her room. Heâs standing with his forehead pressed to the door, fist still resting where he had knocked. As she watches, he pushes himself away, takes a step back and fixes the barrier with a stare she cannot see enough to read the meaning of.Â
Fine. Jyn hoists herself off the bed and slams her hand on the button to open the door, turning her back before she can see Cassianâs face and returning to her safe perch on the edge of her bed.Â
Heâs never been in her room before, she catches the intelligence officer in him stirring, eyes quickly scanning the area, absorbing what details there are to obtain from her few, scattered belongings.Â
When he looks at her, she raises an eyebrow, challenging. âWhat?â
For a moment he only stares at her, a stare that makes her skin itch and her face warm, her fingers curling into the palm of her hand. When he finally speaks, he speaks quietly, âI care. I donât want you to think I have eyes forâŚâÂ
âCassian,â Jyn cuts in, âitâs late. I already told you Iâm okay justââ
Something changes in his expression, some hint of frustration making itself known, and a soft growl of exasperation escapes him.Â
Before Jyn can open her mouth again, Cassian has stepped forward, taken her face in his hands and planted a firm kiss on her lips. âI only want you,â he breathes, forehead pressed to hers, a hand still holding the back of her head. âIf you really donât care, thatâs fine, but I need you to know, to understand, that for me? Youâre it. Alright?â
Jyn finds herself no longer capable of lying. To herself or to him.Â
She pulls Cassian back to her.Â
âGood morning, sunshines,â Bodhi says cheerfully as Jyn and Cassian approach the table, plates piled high with what passes for âbreakfast foodâ on base. âCass, we missed you the rest of the night, you never came back. Whereâd you wander off to?
Cassian steals a quick glance at Jyn, taking note of her disheveled hair, imagining his might appear equally unkempt. She gives a slight, secret smirk meant just for him. âNowhere,â he tells Bodhi, through a smile that mirrors Jynâs.Â
When it comes to Cassian Andor, Jyn still finds herself lying to others from time to time, but she concludes that it is a practice that is much more enjoyable when shared.Â
#rebelcaptain drabble#rebelcaptain#still gonna tag it that way just cause...idk it doesnt feel like a FULL fic#ask b anything#b writes#(im gonna keep taking these for a little bit cause they are definitely helping me with my chronic overthinking atm)#(you can click the title to access the prompt list!)#jyn x cassian

How To Get Started Making Visual Novels
Wanna make a visual novel? Or maybe you've seen games like Our Life, Blooming Panic, Doki Doki Literature Club, etc. and wanna make something like that? Good news, here's a very basic beginners guide on how to get started in renpy and what you need to know going in! Before you start, I highly recommend looking at my last post about writing a script for renpy just to make it easier on you!
LONG POST AHEAD
Obviously, our first step is downloading it from their website
thankfully, its right on the home page of their site. Follow basica program installation steps and run the program. I highly recommend pinning it to your task bar to make it easier to access.
From there, you're met with the renpy app, it's a little daunting at first but let's talk about what all these buttons are for.
Projects
This part is simple, it just lists the current projects in the chosen directory. You probably won't have any in there of your own. You should still see Tutorial and The Question!
Both of those default projects are super helpful in their own ways, i highly recommend testing out the tutorial and playing around with it just to get comfortable with some of the basics.
Create New Project
The first step to actually making your game into a game!
You'll be met with a prompt letting you know that the project is being made in English and that you can change it. You can click Continue.
From here, you'll be asked to input a project name! Put in your games title, or even a placeholder title since this Information can be changed later! (this is also the title the folder will be in your file browser, be sure to name it something you won't overlook)
Now we get to choose our resolution!
If you have no idea what to choose, go for 1920x1080! This is the standard size for most computer monitors and laptops, but it will still display with moderately decent quality on 4k monitors too!
You can choose 3840x2160 as well. This is 2x the measurements of the default, with the same ration. These dimensions are considered 4k. Keep in mind, your image files will be bigger and can cause the game to have a larger size to download.
Now we get to choose our color scheme!
Renpy has some simple default options with the 'light mode' colors being the bottom two rows, and the 'dark mode' colors being the toop two rows.
You can pick anything here, but I like to choose something that matches my projects vibes/colors better. Mostly because depending on how in depth you go with the ui, it minimizes the amount of changes I need to make later.
Click continue and give it a minute. Note: If it says "not responding" wait a moment without clicking anything. It can sometimes freeze briefly during the process.
Now we should be back at our home screen, with our new project showing. Let's talk about allll that stuff on the right now.
Open Directory
This just opens that particular folder in your local file explorer!
game - is all the game files, so your folders for images, audio, saves, and your game files like your script, screens, and more.
base - this is the folder that the game folder is inside of. You can also find the errors and log txt files in here.
images - takes you to your main images folder. This is where you wanna put all of your NON gui images, like your sprites, backgrounds, and CGs. You can create folders inside of this and still call them in the script later. EX: a folder for backgrounds , a folder for sprites for character a, a seperate folder for spirtes for character b, etc.
audio - Takes you to the default audio folder. This is empty, but you can put all your music and sound effects here!
gui - brings up the folder containing all of the default renpy gui. It's a good place to start/ reference for sizes if you want to hand draw your UI pieces like your text box!
Edit File
Simple enough, this is just where you can open your code files in whatever text/code editor you have installed.
Script.rpy - where all of your story and characters live. This is the file you'll spend most of your time in at first
Options.rpy - Contains mostly simple information, like project name and version. There aren't a ton of things in here you need to look at. There is also some lines of code that help 'archive' certain files by file type so that they can't be seen by players digging in code however. Fun if you want to hide some images in there for later or if you just dont want someone seeing how messy your files are. We've all been there
Gui.rpy - where all of the easy customization happens. Here you can change font colors, hover colors, fonts, font sizes, and then the alignment and placement of all of your text! Like your dialogue and names, the height of text buttons, etc. It more or less sets the defaults for a lot of these unless you choose to change them later.
Screens.rpy - undeniably my favorite, this is where all of the UI is laid out for the different screens in your game, like the main menu, game menu, quick menu, choice menu, etc. You can add custom screens too if you want, but I always make my own seperate file for these.
Open Project - this just opens all of those files at once in the code editor. Super handy if you make extra files like I do for certain things.
Actions
last but not least, our actions.
Navigate Script - This feature is underrated in my honest opinion, it's super handy for help debugging! In renpy you can comment with # before a line. However, if you do #TODO and type something after it, it saves it as a note! You can view these TODO's here as well as easily navigate to when certain screens are called, where different labels are (super great if your game is long, and more. It saves some scrolling.
Check Script (Lint) - also super duper handy for debugging some basic things. It also tells you your word count! But its handy for letting you know about some errors that might throw up. I like using it to look for sprites I may or may not have mispelled, because they show up in there too.
Change/Update GUI - Nifty, though once you start customizing GUI on your own, it isn't as useful. You can reset the project at any point and regenerate the image files here. This updates all those defaults we talked about earlier.
Delete Persistent - this just helps you delete any persistent data between play throughs on your end. I like to use it when making a lot of changes while testing the game, so that I can reboot the game fresh.
Force Recompile - Full disclosure, as many games as I've made and as long as I've been using Renpy, i have never used this feature. I searched to see what it does and this is the general consesus: Normally renpy tries to be smart about compiling code (creating .rpyc files) and only compiles .rpy files with changes. This is to speed up the process since compiling takes time. Sometimes you can make changes that renpy don't pick up on and therefore won't recompile. In these cases you can run force recompile to force it. Another solution (if you know what file is affected) is to delete that specific. rpyc file.
The rest of your options on this right hand side are how you make executable builds for your game that people can download to extract and play later!
Sorry gang! that was a whole lot of text obviously the last button "Launch Project" launches an uncompiled version of the project for you to play and test as you go! Hang in tight because my next post is about how to utilize github for renpy, so you can collaborate easier!

[Image description. Image reads âTropetemberâ, in the background, a picture of a mug placed on an open book in front of a blanket invokes a cozy feel. End id] Thanks to @supericelightâ for the image description!
Hello and welcome to Tropetember 2024!!
Tropetember is a multifandom event celebrating everyoneâs favourite fanfic tropes, held during the month of September. There will be a trope prompt for each day of the month, but this is only a guide - feel free to choose any of the tropes as you wish.
This year, we again have a âHard Modeâ list for anyone that needs or wants more specific prompts to fill!
Here are the links to the prompts!
Tropetember Prompt List
Tropetember Hard Mode List
From the beginning of September, we will be accepting submissions to this blog for fanworks tagged with âtropetemberâ and âR-tropetemberâ (for works with adult content). To place a submission, you should click on the submission button under the blog title. This will mean that we post your work directly from the main Tropetember blog. Make sure to TAG APPROPRIATELY on the submissions box.
If you create your own post and want us to reblog it instead, you must @ us in the main body of the post (@tropetember) - we are not able to monitor the #tropetember tag.Â
All entries should either contain a link to a fanfiction site where your work is posted (eg. AO3), or the text/body of your work, as well as the trope/prompt used.
We have also opened an AO3 collection titled âTropetember 2024â into which you can post your work. When you go to post a new work in AO3, there will be a section that says âPost to Collections / Challengesâ. In the field next to it, type 'Tropetemberâ and it should pop up. Make sure to submit it to this yearâs collection!
This event is intended to be a minor-accessible companion to Kinktober. NS/ FW content is welcome, but we want this to be a safe event for minors too, so we ask that any content rated M or E be tagged 'R-tropetemberâ so that everyone can curate their experience. Content that might be considered sensitive and/or controversial should also be tagged as 'R-tropetemberâ along with any other relevant warnings.
Weâre releasing the prompts early below so that authors, artists and other fan creators can make a head start, but we will not be posting any submissions before September starts. (If we miss your submissions to the blog and a few days have passed, feel free to @ us or send an ask to let us know!) At the time of this post the Tropetember 2024 AO3 collection is already open and you can submit your work there.
This event is not a bingo and you donât have to fill all the slots. You can do only one, some, or all of them, or repeat any trope several times, and still be a part of Tropetember - weâd love to have you!
For any doubts and questions, you can find our FAQ here, and several other answers here.
Please reblog or share to spread the word!! Enjoy your tropes and remember to have fun!

Creating Aesthetic Posts On Tumblr! đ¨
Do you know the exciting thing about formatting on Tumblr? You get to do what you want with your post.Â
However, if it's still confusing how you can make that happen, let's dive in right away.Â
⥠đš âĄ
STEP ONE: Know your post.
Figure out what your post is about and get it ready. Is it a prompt, an excerpt from your story, your characters, or writing tips and advice?Â
Ensure you already have the draft edited and ready.
STEP TWO: Major headlines or titles.
If your post has headlines, use the biggest font for the title. Examples:
âď¸ Five easy ways to get a novel done in 6 months.
Chapter 2: A Broken Mirror. đ
đInterview with my characters.Â
STEP THREE: Minor headlines or subheadings.
If you have subheadings or minor headlines, use the bigger font. Examples:
âŻâŻRead books to be a writer.Â
âŻâŻAttend local writing events.Â
âŻâŻ Share your work for feedback.Â
âŻâŻWrite consistently
âŻâŻSet goals.Â
STEP FOUR: Colour and highlights.
You can colour your text too, to prove a point, highlight an important message, or for beauty. Long press or highlight the word, phrase, or sentence you wish to add colour to. Example:
With the recent activity happening lately, it has been concluded that it's dangerous to go outside at night.Â
Give me a reason why you chose to call at such an odd hour.Â
Cats and dogs are great pets.Â
Be my bestie!
STEP FIVE: Bold and italics
Long press or highlight your words to bold or italicize. Example:
I can't believe she just said that.Â
STEP SIX: Embedded link and link box.
If you have a link you want to share, you can do it in two ways.
đ Embed the link in a text by long-pressing or highlighting the word, phrase, or sentence, clicking the chain icon, and inserting the link. Example:
Buy me a rose if you love what I do to support me.âŁď¸
đ You can also click on the chain icon to generate a link box, then paste the link in it, and click enter. It would show the content of your link. Example:
If you'd like to support me, buy me a rose.Â
STEP SEVEN: Emojis.
Use emojis to enhance the beauty of your posts when you feel the need to. Example:
My beautiful plushies just arrived, guys; unbox with me!! đđ§¸
STEP EIGHT: Emoticons
Use emoticons. They are similar to emojis, but made up of signs and symbols. You can use them as emojis or as beautification. Examples:
â
I pranked my brother with water balloons yesterday; now he hates me. :(
ââ Some items my friend asked me to get for her birthday. â
ââ Heels
ââ BalloonsÂ
ââ Dress
ââ CakeÂ
ââ ConfettiÂ
ââ DonutÂ
ââ Punch bowl
STEP NINE: Use listicle
To organize your work and keep it clean, make use of lists. Examples:
Wake up in the morning.
Brush your teeth.
Wash your face.
Eat breakfast, and
Drink coffee.
OR
Wake up in the morning.
Brush your teeth.
Wash your face.
Eat breakfast, and
Drink coffee.
STEP TEN: Images and image descriptions.Â
You can use images that are free for use on sites like Pexels, Unsplash, etc. Example:
OR
You create your own images on Canva. The image could be infographics, mood boards, etc. Example:
Image descriptions: To increase accessibility, click on the ellipsis on your image, click 'add alt text, then enter a description of your image. See examples above!
If you are an artist, your art can be added to your post where necessary.
STEP ELEVEN: GIF
Use GIF when you feel like it.Â
STEP TWELVE: Memes.
Create memes on sites like Memix to add a comical side to your post. Example:
OR writing-related memes like:
STEP THIRTEEN: Polls.Â
You can add a poll to ask the audience questions, giving them specific answers to choose from. You can also set how long you want the poll to last from the drop-down icon, and have up to twelve options.
To create a poll, click on the beach wave-like icon located in the lower right, next to the two human-like figures. Example:
STEP FOURTEEN: Music.
The headphone icon is to add any music to your post. Could be a music that speaks more of your character, etc.Â
STEP FIFTEEN: TagsÂ
You can tag your mutuals, friends, or people you want to see a certain post. In most cases, writing games and challenges.
@tahbhie
Before posting your formatted post, add # to increase the visibility. There's an option under your post that lets you do that. Click the plus icon and you're on your way. Popular writing tags: #writerblr #writers #novel writing etc..
â You can mix all of these ideas to get what works best for each of your posts.

Hi!đ I looove the way you write River Cartwright!!! Would you be able to write something NSFW with the prompts:
"Can you feel how much I want you?" & âStop looking at me like that or my knees will not hold me any longer.â
Note: requests are currently closed
Thank you so much anon! I love writing for River and I hope you like the fic! :D
Title: Wanting
Warnings: nsfw
Slow Horses tag list: @cillmequick
You and River staggered into his flat. As soon as the door was firmly behind him River attacked your lips with his. You let out a gasp as he sunk his teeth into your bottom lip, granting him access to your mouth. You let out a low moan and River smirked against your lips. You were pressed against the wall, his body keeping you firmly in place. You turned your head to the side, breaking the kiss and gasping for air. River let out a frustrated noise but pressed a trail of kisses down your neck.
âRiver-â you said but cut off when he bit against the soft spot on your neck
River smiled against your skin and said,
âYes?â
âWe shouldnât be doing this.â
âAgainst the wall? We can always-â
âNo,â this time it was you who cut River off, âthis.â
You pushed at Riverâs chest and he immediately stepped away. He watched wordlessly as you moved further into the flat. Well, this certainly wasnât the way River had expected (or hoped) the evening to go. Still, if that was what you wanted.
âYou can take the bed,â he said awkwardly, âIâll take the sofa.â
âNo, Iâm not kicking you out of your own bed.â
River opened his mouth, about to suggest the two of you could share it, but closed it quickly with a click. No, now wasnât the best moment for comments like that. You sat down heavily on the sofa and River sat down next to you, keeping a measured distance between you. After a moment you said,
âIâm sorry.â
âYou have nothing to be sorry about. I shouldâve asked before IâŚâ
He trailed off and looked away. The awkwardness increased between the two of you. There had always been an underlying tension between you and after one too many near death experiences it all came to a head.
âItâs just,â you sighed and ran a hand over your face, âthis is all so new to me. Iâve neverâŚâ
You cut yourself off and River edged closer to you. When didnât move away he pressed a leg against yours. You gave a small smile and pressed back. Ah, right, River was now slowly understanding the situation. He grabbed your hand and put it on his lap. When you didnât pull away he said,
âNever what?â
You licked your lips and immediately Riverâs gaze was fixed on them again. He wanted to feel them against his but knew that now wasnât the time. You shook your head and stood up, pulling your hand free from his. You hugged yourself tightly and said,
âIn our line of work, people have ulterior motives when it comes to sex.â
âUlterior motives?â
You gave River an unimpressed look and raised your eyebrows. It took River a second to realise what you were implying and his face turned red.
âWeâre at Slough House,â he said, âno ulterior motives.â
He stood up and walked over to you, putting his hands on your shoulders. He pressed his chest against your back and you shuddered when you felt his erection press against you.
âCan you feel how much I want you?â he asked softly
âRiver.â
âShh,â his lips brushed against your neck as his arms circled around your waist, âI want this. I want you.â
You turned around in his arms and put your hands back on his chest. Riverâs arms were still circled around your waist but you could feel his grip loosening. You blinked at the expression on his face. You had never seen River looking like that before. You were so used to seeing his downtrodden, bloodied and bruised. To see something so soft, dre you say even loving, looked alien on him.
âRiver-â
âYes?â
âStop looking at me like that or my knees will not hold me any longer.â
âIs that a yes?â
âAnd if you donât kiss me right now Iâll-â
River interrupted you by roughly pressing his lips back against yours. You closed your eyes and let out a moan as one of your hands tangled in his hair. One of Riverâs arms remained firmly locked around your waist while the other snaked up to the back of your head, keeping it firmly in place. You felt your knees weakened slightly but Riverâs arm kept you firmly locked in place. When he broke the kiss he remained close, lips brushing against yours.
âBedroom?â you asked
âBedroom.â
You let out a gasp as River suddenly lifted you into his arms. You wrapped your arms around him and he staggered back slightly.
âShow off.â you said teasingly as he carried you to his bedroom
River dropped you on the mattress and you landed with a bump. You gave him an unimpressed look which he returned with an apologetic one. He straddled you and pressed a soft kiss against your lips.
âSorry.â he muttered against them
âYou can make it up to me.â
You moved your hands under his shirt and tugged at it. River smirked and leant back, taking it off and throwing it to the side. He swiftly made work of your shirt, it too soon joining his on the floor. Riverâs hands fiddled with the button of your jeans. You shifted your hips up, aiding him in slipping them down as you popped open his jeans. You delved your hands in, grasping his erection and moving your hand. River let out a shuddering moan and pressed his forehead against your shoulder.
River ran his fingers between your folds, circling a thick finger around it. He glanced at you, silently asking for permission and when you nodded he slowly pushed it in. You groaned, clinging onto River tightly as your nails scratched down his back. River slowly pumped his finger in and out, eventually adding a second. You groaned at the stretch and River pressed a kiss against your cheek.
âI donât want to hurt you,â he said, adding a third finger, âI want to make sure youâre prepared for me.â
After what felt like far too long, River finally removed his fingers. He sat back and pulled off his jeans before seeing to yours. He ran a hand up your legs and pressed his cheek against your thigh.
âI love you.â he said softly
âI love you too but River?â
âYes?â
âPlease fuck me.â
Riverâs smirk widened and he crawled up, pressed the tip of his cock against you. When you gave another nod, he pressed in achingly slowly. The two of you groaned as you clenched around him. River stilled, breathing heavily as you got adjusted to his size. When you bucked your hips River slowly pulled out. You moaned at the delicious sensation but then yelped as he slammed back in roughly.
River kept up the bruising pace and you were forced to wrap your legs around his waist. You moved one of your hands down and circled your clit, bucking into Riverâs hips. Riverâs pace faltered as he felt you clench tightly around him.
âRiver,â you gasped, âIâm going to-â
âI know,â River propped himself up on one hair and stroked your cheek with the other, âcome for me.â
You came with a cry and River gave a couple more harsh thrust before groaning and practically collapsing on top of you. Neither of you moved for a second, both heavily breathing, before you tapped River on the shoulder. River moved his hips, sliding out of you but not moving off of River.
âRiver,â you said, with a hint of a whine, âyou're on top of me.â
âOh, I know.â
River trailed a finger lightly up your thighs. You rolled your eyes and said,
âYouâre kinda squishing me.â
River sighed and rolled over, dragging you with him. You rested your head on his chest and he wrapped an arm around you, keeping you locked against him. He pressed a kiss against your temple as you felt yourself drifting off to sleep.
âYou know,â his voice cut through your sleepy haze, âif you wanted to be on top so much all you had to do was say.â
âMaybe next time.â
âGlad to know thereâll be a next time.â
âYouâre not getting rid of me that easily.â
âFucking hope not.â

A.K.A. "I wrote this instead of sleeping..."
You can find the prompt bingo right here.
It's still a work in progress, and there's so much more I want to add eventually, but everything that's already there is working.
And what's there is a lot. Like, a metric shit ton.
I've added all
Cinematic Titles
Mission Names
Mission Stories
Challenges
Destinations
of all Hitman World of Assassination Game Modes.
Some challenge prompts might look like typos to you. While I always appreciate when you point those out to me so I can fix them (seriously, please do let me know if I missed something!), please check first if there isn't an in-game challenge with that exact name, because so many of them look like I forgot how to spell. :D
Fun fact, did you know that there are roughly 1,200 challenges in the game? I wasn't joking about the "instead of sleeping" part of the title.
Additionally, there are long lists with smutty, kinky, romantic, angsty and whumpy prompts.
You can opt-out of NSFW, Shipping and Angst by not opting in (I swear this makes sense in my head right now), but if you select the theme "Romance" from the dropdown menu, you will get shippy prompts even if you don't tick the Shipping checkbox, and if you select Hurt/Comfort from the dropdown menu you will get angsty prompts even if you don't tick the Angst checkbox. I recommend ticking the Shipping or Angst checkbox if you select Romance or Hurt/Comfort for a larger pool of prompts.
You will not get NSFW prompts unless you tick the NSFW checkbox.
However, some mission stories and challenges have names that could be mistaken for NSFW prompts. I haven't put them behind the filter, and I don't know if I will do that in the future.
If you don't like a prompt, you can just re-roll that one specific prompt by clicking/tapping the field it's in.
The Themes
The bingo generator has four themed lists so far: General Prompts, Mission Fic, Romance, and Hurt/Comfort.
I will be adding more at appropriate times, such as a summer list for summer (Northern Hemisphere) or a Halloween list for Halloween. Those will be permanent additions. It's just a lot of work, and I have so many more plot bunnies and code bunnies and art bunnies, so I really have to space these updates out. xD
If you'd like to suggest a theme or donate a list of prompts, please feel free to do so!
How to Play
Create the card you want, do with it whatever you want.
You can take the prompts literally or interpret them any way you like. If it's the name of a mission story or challenge, you can use the mission story or challenge itself as a prompt, or come up with something just based on the name. If it's a pun, you can use the prompt as-is or remove the pun element from it.
Use as many or as few prompts as you want in a fic, or in a drawing, or in a daydream. You make the rules!
If you think a bingo should require a line of prompts used in one single work, cool. If you think four single works should count, that's cool too. And again, if you don't like a prompt, just re-roll it until you get one you like more.
Just have fun with it! :)
Mobile Version
The mobile version is working, but word breaks for longer words won't be pretty. I still need to add word break opportunities, but that's a lot of work, and I will probably do this in small batches over the next month or so.
If you want a prettier card, you can re-roll prompts with unpretty word breaks by tapping on the prompt you want to change.
Keyboard-Only Users
For accessibility, all prompt fields have added button functionality, which means you can use tab to select them and enter to interact with them. Your browser needs to have JavaScript enabled for that to work, though.
Now go play with it!
Or don't, I'm not your mum, I can't tell you what to do.
Final disclaimer: The platform I'm using to host my generators, Perchance, recently added AI options. My generators were not built using AI, and none of the prompts you'll get are AI generated.
My generators are all 100% handcrafted chaos. :D
If bingos are not to your liking and you'd like more detailed prompts, try my Hitman Prompt Generator!

Just finished Beebing, as us Beebers tend to do, and compiled a list of the Beeb Bugs (/ finicky game design things) i noticed to help guide you in your valiant quest to Better the Beeb. Hope these help!
(No pressure with any of these by the way, please donât put too much on your plate and make sure to get plenty of rest!)
Probably contains some spoilers so be aware fellow Beebers
Fullscreen mode please đđ
Not an issue (and you can completely ignore me on this) but itâd be very funny if there was an ending where you either choose never to go to the party or leave once you get there. Like. Screen goes dark âand he never found out the true mystery of the mansionâ cut to title screen. Totally up to you though just thought itâd be silly. Okay now on to the actual issues i noticed
Tutorial states that backspace will reset things in the demo instead of the space bar (space bar still does that though)
When beeb enters the house for the first time, âone more chanceâ displays at the top of the screen as if itâs the start to another loop. Wild lore implications, but iâm not sure if theyâre lore implications you wish to be implicated
Would be nice if doors were more clearly labeled so players know where the kitchen and office keys go. Secret doors with secrets could be labeled âunknownâ until the keys for them have been found, to allow for intrigue while also having that guidance when it is needed
The mini game with the magnet⌠dunno if itâs bugged or just me but the magnet tends to drop right as it reaches the top. Had to try that one a few times lol (maybe try making the âhit boxâ a bit bigger? Oh and something prompting the player to stop clicking once the keys have been successfully acquired would be nice)
Some cutscenes have blank screens instead of the pictures, probably intentional but can get confusing at times, especially when there isnât any guidance/tutorial informing players that they have to click through cutscenes. Even like⌠having a little arrow at the bottom of the screen would help immensely with that (personal recommendations of what i feel might communicate this best; arrow that bobs up & down, arrow that fades in a little while after the first image of a cutscene shows, or a label prompting the player to click)
Maybe some sort of timestamp thingie for save files if possible. Or some sort of something that marks files that have been saved to (if not a timestamp then maybe something that states where in the game you are, what puzzle/loop the player is at based on pre-existing triggers or variables)
During the âIn relation to Eugene Coli, whoâŚ?â mini game, there is what appears to be a default grey scroller thing to the right of all the options (text boxes probably a smidge too big)
Canât access notepad in tiny upstairs room
Kitchen key dialogue plays again when clicking the shelves after already obtaining a key. You donât get another key, but the dialogue is still there
Right-clicking the door with the number lock then right-clicking the inventory space that shows up will immediately open the place to input the code (skips dialogue). Not necessarily something that needs to be fixed, but might cause issues elsewhere if the same thing happens with similar objects
If you click on Ăngel while heâs chilling next to Vivi while youâre trying to solve the sticky note puzzle, he turns around. He turns back around when you exit/return or reset the room
Would be nice to have some way to cancel out accidental button clicks (for example accidentally clicking an object will have beeb walking there & will trigger the dialogue, itâd be nice if there was a way to cancel actions)
As soon as the second loop starts, pressing the spacebar ends the demo. Do not pass go do not collect 200 dollars
No way to exit to title screen from the demo page (was there in the accidental bug one i found but not the actual end of demo screen)
(The demo-related issues probably arenât very high-priority since they are temporary, so donât worry too much about fixing those issues since theyâll all jump ship when the full game is released đ just thought iâd include them here to be ~thorough~)
Okay thatâs all i found!! Iâll probably do another run through at some point to mess around a bit and see if any other bugs show up. Good luck out there soldier 𫡠and thank you so much for making such an amazing game!!!! :D
Now THIS is a rat who knows how to pass the labyrinth!
I also enjoy the beebwords. She beebo'd beebily down the stairs.
I shall answer your concerns!!
This is actually 100% a personal thing, I dont like fullscreen in non 3rd person games, i loose sense of time too easily ): and I like having the ability to look at my notifications. But I'll poll it!
it's too cold to go out!! (unless there's a promise of cute guy?)
Ah yes, the space bar was a secret little key for test players. Backspace toggles "is dialogue running?", backspace reloads the whole room for big glitches. Congratulations! u found my secrets.
This is intentional, it is Beeb's first loop but not the house's >:3
If you talk to Nina again she tells you which door is which, although I've had other rats miss that, I'll see what I can do!
That's a good idea actually, also it shouldn't go back down once you reach the very top. Which evil code is causing this
I thought of that once a friend told me "I stayed 2 minutes looking at a blank screen thinking it was loading" Which is. incredibly funny to me but yeah I should do something about it. No comedy for me.
I also got advised to do that by a fellow rat, I might rember my save files but other people could forger (because i only use one save file). It's gonna be a bit difficult but I am ready I am not a coward I will code that thang!!
Thats a weird one, One of my rats got it but some didn't. I think it has to do with window resolution? I shall make them invisible
That's also intentional, it prevents a glitch, and it will happen in the future too! Nothing can stop my evil glitch-preventing ways.
I'm pretty sure I patched that in the latest release, but I will double check
I'm praying that my current fixes to the code solve that. if not. well. it be like that.
Well yeah, you poked him. hehe
That's very much feasible, although I fear people pressing it on accident and missing dialogue, which already happens just by being very trigger happy with the mouse
Nooo dont press the secret key only for big glitches randomly haha ur so sexy
Oh yeah at that point I expected the player to just. close the game. lmao. But i should probably implement it for the endings.
My rats.,.., they're working full time. I'm really tempted to just upload everything I have so people can tell me about bugs but no!! that's spoiling the fun!!
#Only 5 endings to go and I'm done#since I currently dont have inspiration to write em I'm currently updating and re-writting some code :)#I got better at coding the more I advanced so I must look back and do some clean up#And! this will save me time when I'm ready to release!#The real danger of speedrunning is missing bugs

Roswell, New Mexico may be over, but fandoms are forever. You can now play RNM Bingo any time of the year, at your own pace!
Looking for the 2023 Rules? Click here!
How To Keep Playing Comment Bingo in 3 Easy Steps
Choose a bingo card: Your format options are Google Doc or PNG. Within those, you have 3 layout options that all have the same squares, just arranged differently (and each of those have three cute backgrounds, so pick your favorite!) (âthere has to be three,â as Max says).
Fill out your card: use your bingo card to track what RNM works youâve read and commented on, including author and title. As you go, keep a list of the links to share as a rec post on Tumblr.
Post or submit on Tumblr: Use the tag #rnmbingo and mention @rnmbingo on your own Tumblr, or Submit a bingo card to us directly. Instant and cute Fic Rec board!
How to Play: The Detailed Version
Weâve got Bingo cards in Google Doc and PNG formats. Thank you to @bean-me-up for the amazing designs and the whole mod team for the fun prompts. [Link to all bingo boards]
How to fill in the bingo card:
Google Docs version (screen reader accessible):
Copy one of the nine card options out of the âformat: docâ folder in this Google Drive [Link to all bingo boards] into your preferred text editing software.
Fill in the author/title of the works as you comment. Feel free to redesign the cards to make it your own, as long as the info is the same
Link the works on your Bingo card (how to).
Share your final card by posting it to Tumblr as a screenshot or as a viewable link to your Google Doc, with links to each work provided either under a Read More or as hyperlinks (as in this example). More instructions for non-tumblr users under Posting the Bingo Card.
PNG version:
Download one of the nine card options in the âformat: pngâ folder here: [Link to all bingo boards].
Fill in the author/title of your works as you comment using an image editor (Canva, Photoshop, MS Paint, etc.). Feel free to redesign the cards or make your own, as long as the info is the same. Weâd love to see and share them!
Include a link to each work you comment on under a Read More. A direct link to the comment must be provided if you commented somewhere other than archiveofourown.org.
Share your final card by posting it to Tumblr with links to each work under a Read More. More instructions for non-tumblr users under Posting the Bingo Card.
Posting the Bingo Card:
Tumblr users: Share your completed bingo card on your own Tumblr and mention us at @rnmbingo. Use the hashtag #rnmbingo so others can find your posts.
Non-Tumblr users: If you donât have a Tumblr, we still want you to participate. Just submit your bingo card as a Submission to https://rnmbingo.tumblr.com/submit.
Questions?
Check our answered asks, some of our how to bingo posts, or message @rnmbingo on Tumblr.
As always, this concept and these rules are fair game for you to take and re-use for any fandom or event. If you want to take over running the RNM Comment Bingo as an actual event, please message this blog or @maeglinthebold

I also have plenty of writing prompts, as my brain runs a mile a minute, and I adore it when people feel inspired by my writing so feel free to explore.
I hope you enjoy! Get comfy and stay awhile :)
Things I would like to note: Homophobia, Transphobia, Sexism, Racism, etc. are absolutely not tolerated here. As stated earlier the idea is to create a safe space for everyone. If I or anyone that interacts with my blog upsets you, please don't feel shy to message me. My asks (with anon) and messages are open, even if it's just to chat (also keep in mind once again I am an adult). Don't bully the children either, they are just trying their best. Please and thank you. đ

Number 25: Wrapping arms around them when they make breakfast. Bonus points if whoever's cooking is terrible at it.
somehow this thing started off with vaguely horny vibes and then, as per usual, veered directly into character study territory and got sickeningly soft. thanks for the lovely prompt, darlin'!
tw: references to Korn in passing
wordcount: approx. 700
Title: "Tasting Sunrise"
Chay slips his arms around Kimâs waist and hooks his chin over his boyfriendâs shoulder. He watches as Thailandâs current indie sweetheart and rising star stirs wayyyyyy too much chili paste into the soup heâs making. âWhatcha doing, Phi?â
âWhat does it look like?â Kim sniffs. âIâm making us breakfast.â
âAre you secretly trying to kill me and collect my hefty life insurance policy?âÂ
âWhâ Why would you ask that?!â Kim spins around in his arms, looking so completely horrified that, for a split-second, Porchay feels kinda badâŚÂ
Then he takes in the âFuck You, itâs MY Kitchenâ apron (which Tankhun had special-ordered when Kim nearly burned down the house last summer making grilled cheese), Kimâs untouched bedhead, and his own rumpled Wik tee covering Kimâs chest. A smile blooms softly across his face. Thereâs no urgency in the gesture, no driving need to ease Kimâs worry â because Kim is already calm again. One look is all it takes now that theyâve learned how real communication works.
âThatâs a lot of chili, PâKim.â Chay noses along the hinge of Kimâs jaw until Kim finally relaxes back against him and exposes his neck for more. âAre you feeling congested, or did I snore last night and youâre trying to fix the problem with folk medicine?â
âIs it really that much?â Kim blinks at him innocently. Chay still can't believe that for all his ferality, all his killing and maiming and committing violent crimes on a near-weekly basis, Kim has no fucking clue how to read recipes. Something about cooking simply doesn't click; and that's fine with Chay, because cooking is his happy place.Â
Therapy rocks and heâll always be grateful for his access to solid mental healthcare â but sometimes, in the quiet of their kitchen, nothing soothes him faster or better than slicing up vegetables and mixing the correct ratio of seasonings into his broth base. He makes Kim a variety of healthy food and takes great pride in doing so.
âI love you so much, PâKim⌠But thereâs a reason I make breakfast when we have the time to eat together.âÂ
Kim pouts cutely up at him in disappointment so Chay smacks a kiss to his forehead. Totally fair compensation, in his opinion. âHow about we go out for food, instead? Thereâs a new crepe place down the block that looks awesome and the reviews are good.â
âI like crepes.â
âPrecisely my point.â
âAlright,â Kim smiles and turns off the stove. Chay follows him into the bedroom, pinching at his hips to keep them from getting distracted on the way.Â
âThank you for taking care of me,â Chay whispers, just before they leave the apartment. He takes one of Kimâs hands in both of his and presses several kisses along the ridge of Kim's knuckles. âBut please donât push yourself to do things that make you uncomfortable for my sake. We both make up each otherâs slack, right?â
Kim looks apprehensive at this request. Wary. Almost as if he's been cornered.Â
Chay wonders darkly if heâs been to visit Korn in the last twenty-four hours. Â
âI make us healthy, tasty dinners and sometimes breakfast. You check the deadbolts every night and keep a holster under your bedside table,â Chay ticks the items off on his fingers as if heâs making a numbered list. Mostly he wants Kim to understand his point. Kim nods along, so he continues:
âI keep track of our toiletries and resupply when weâre at the store. You have a cool sixth sense about when weâre low on coffee beans, so we never run out. Cats come up to me on the street so we can both pet them. Your fans take candids of us petting cats together on the street and post them online for me to collect. Weâre symbiotic, Kim. Not like Venom, I mean, but like two separate people who fit very well together.â
Kim pops onto his toes in order to bestow a pleased kiss to Chayâs lips. Chay can feel Kim's smile beneath the pressure of skin meeting skin and it makes him smile right back.Â
When they pull back for air, Kim gasps, âI love you, sunshine.â
âI love you, too, Phi.â
âBreakfast?â
âBreakfast.â
The crepes, while delicious, don't hold a candle to the taste of Kim's early morning smile.

Attn all 25 Days of Draco and Harry participants (early bird and traditional)
Friends:
You can post your fics anywhere, but please use the header below or some variation of it - with a link to where ever you post. We highly recommend you post to the AO3 collection set up for this challenge: 25 Days of Draco and Harry 2023
You can do this easily by posting the work to your AO3 account and where it says post to collections start typing 25 Days... a list will come up and you simply need to select: 25 Days of Draco and Harry 2023 (25_Days_of_Draco_and_Harry_2023)
when you post it's included in the collection. Easy!!
This will help sassy_cissa find fics more easily for the recap that will be put together in January. ⼠But you are NOT obligated to post to AO3.
A hint for those of you writing one, big story is to click "this work has multiple chapters" when you make your first post. That way you can add a chapter to it each day and people can find it easily. Also, if you're doing 25 not related fics â click "this work is part of a series" and then title your series something like your user name's 2023 25 Days of D/H series or something that will uniquely identify it on AO3.
NOTE: your fic does not have to be a story of the picture - you can use a part of the picture or whatever that picture says to you.
For those doing traditional style â the prompts must be used in order â as stated in the guidelines. *This does not apply for early-bird participants* The challenge of this is to write and post within the 24-hour period between prompt postings. There's no penalty if you don't, but if you'd like to challenge yourself you can. Otherwise, you can post anytime for any prompt if you are posting for fun. You can also combine prompts if you're not able to write one day. The hope for this is for it to be fun and low-stress. And because I want more H/D loveliness during Christmas!! NOTE: your work doesn't have to be beta'd for this challenge.
If you are posting on LJ, it would be great if you could post your header (see below for the one to use for this challenge) on slythindor100. Feel free to link your story to where ever you prefer to post it.
Title: Author: Word Count: Rating: Prompt: you can either post a link to the prompt that youâve saved to your computer or just use the description provided â you cannot link from Discord (they are eliminating that feature) Warning: Disclaimer: All Harry Potter characters herein are the property of J.K. Rowling and Bloomsbury/Scholastic. No copyright infringement is intended. Author's Notes: _______________________________________________________
Each day at midnight (EST) beginning on Dec 1st - the prompt for that day will become available by clicking the gift for that day. At the end of each day, the prompt will stay - without having to click on it to see it.
NOTE: THIS CLOCK is the official clock. If you have any questions or concerns - feel free to contact us at [email protected]. Or you can find us on the 25 Days Discord Server.
If you'd like access to the 25 Days server or want to have your information updated, please click HERE and we'll get you sorted. You do not have to join the server to participate, but there you can chat with others who are doing the challenge.

Random-Mailbox's Favorite Sailor Moon Fics - Week 38 - What If
This weekâs stories are all around âwhat ifâ theme as suggested by @areptiledysfunction1107. Even though technically all fanfictions can be classified as that, these take an extra step making that part of their plot. Also, don't forget about @usamamoweek2023!
As always, my apologies in advance for spoiling some of these for you (Fic Titles are linked to either FFN or AO3 entries).
What if - @idesofnovember
I could not have had a âWhat Ifâ list without this story. Usagi canonically always wants Mamoru (and everyone else around her) to have a chance at making their own choices and not be bound by destiny. One day she bring it up with Setsuna, who makes her learn her lesson the hard way that the timeline should not be messed with.Â
Fantasy - Lois Fogg
This one was recommended to me by Beej88 and is a fun AU that has magic, parallel worlds and constant questioning of what would happen with every decision. One thing to note, this story was almost sold to a publisher with changed names, so you may notice a few stray âMayâs for âMinakoâ here and that's the reason why. Totally worth checking out though!
Space Bar - Beej88, @smokingbomber
In this short story, mostly told from Joey (Jadeite)âs perspective, readers get to see the dynamics get tested for Shittenou to come back into the fold of the guard. I love the fact that we get Kunzoi and Kunzite x Venus possibilities all in one story.Â
[side note: make sure you are logged into your AO3 account to access this story, it has been locked down with all the scraping and reposting on other platforms without writer consent]
The Chances We Don't Take - @floraone
The entire one-shot is Mamoru thinking about things he should have done differently when it came to his and Usagi's relationship and past interactions. All the points where if had said something or done something, where it could have led.
To Save a Light - @queenrisa14
Little Mamoru had basically given up. He knows that he is all alone and that there is no one waiting for him to get better and out of the hospital. Except that one special nurse explains that every person has a light inside of them, and that letting it shine brightly will help him find a new family and someone very special, whose light will make his shine even brighter.

That's it for this week and the month of May! Here is the schedule for upcoming posts for June:

[Image description. Image reads âTropetemberâ, in the background, a picture of a mug placed on an open book in front of a blanket invokes a cozy feel. End id]
Hello and welcome to Tropetember 2023!!
Tropetember is a multifandom event celebrating everyoneâs favourite fanfic tropes, held during the month of September. There will be a trope prompt for each day of the month, but this is only a guide - feel free to choose any of the tropes as you wish.
This year, for the first time, we have a âHard Modeâ list for anyone that needs or wants more specific prompts to fill!
Here are the links to the prompts!
Tropetember prompt list
Tropetember hard mode list
From the beginning of September, we will be accepting submissions to this blog for fanworks tagged with âtropetemberâ and âR-tropetemberâ (for works with adult content). Submissions should either contain a link to a fanfiction site where your work is posted (eg. AO3) or the text/body of your work. To place a submission you should click on the submission button under the blog title.
We have also opened an AO3 collection titled âTropetember 2023â into which you can post your work.
(If we miss your submissions to the blog and a few days have passed, feel free to message us to let us know!) At the time of this post the Tropetember 2023 AO3 collection is already open and you can submit your work there.
This event is not a bingo and you donât have to fill all the slots. You can do only one, some, or all of them, or repeat any trope several times, and still be a part of Tropetember - weâd love to have you!
Please reblog or share to spread the word. Enjoy your tropes and remember to have fun!
For any doubts and questions, you can find our FAQ here, and several other answers here.

March-April Fanfiction Contest
After the February intermission from the contest format, weâre formally starting the year 2023 with a bit of a shake-up - a March contest for the first time since 2019!Â
prompt: Journey. A roadtrip around the country (in a car or carriage)? Emotional growth that leaves you completely changed? Quest to destroy a powerful artefact in the place itâs been forged in, because no other force in the world is strong enough to even nick it? Whatever your reason is, take us (and Elsa and Anna) along on a journey this month. word limit: min. 1,500 and max. 7,000 words lemon: not allowed this month! T rating and below obligatory: do not mention Elsaâs powers (explained below) bonus: include the âonly one bedâ trope, include a cow, title your story afer a Journey song (explained below)
Please also tag your story (if it has any of it) for: angst, tragedy, major character death, violence or abuse, suicide and self-harm mentions, horror elements or anything not mentioned here that you think might make your readers uncomfortable. Non-/dub-con is NOT ALLOWED, unless it is an important part of the story and not described in detail/used as cheap thrills/glorified. Be mindful and respectful.
Restrictions and Bonuses Click here for more detailed answers to user submitted questions. It will be updated if any more questions roll in, so keep it bookmarked!
OBLIGATORY restriction: powerless. For this month, your submissions cannot mention Elsa having supernatural powers whatsoever. For canon stories it means ignoring her canon ice powers in your story (weâre not asking you to rewrite the entirety of the Frozen canon, just not to have her use her powers or even have her or anyone else talk about them. This includes manifestations of powers such as Olaf), for any AU it means she needs to be an ordinary human - no powers of any kind, including cryptid abilities (so no vampires this time, sorry!). Obligatory restriction means if your story has Elsa with powers it will be disqualified.
DISQUALIFICATION means your story will still be posted (unless it breaks our general contest rules) but will not be eligible to go into voting and win.
Bonus 1: There was only one bed. Have Elsa and Anna share a bed out of necessity or pragmatism. To qualify for this bonus, Elsa and Anna (specifically, not with anyone else) need to find themselves in a situation where they have to share a bed while it is not something theyâre used to doing often (i.e. them being a married couple sleeping in the same bed will not count.)
Bonus 2: Cows! Include at least one cow in your story. To qualify for this bonus, the cow(s) needs to be either alive or a positive depiction (i.e. cow plushies, animated/real cows on tv, etc.) The cow cannot be a burger, leather belt, a carcass etc.
Bonus 3: Sing-song title: Journey 50th anniversary edition. Title your story using a Journey (the band) song of your choice - you can go with the songâs title or the lyrics. If you go with the lyrics, your title needs to be minimum 3 and maximum 6 words long. We will be keeping a list of submitted/reserved titles that youâll be able to access to make sure youâre not submitting doubles! The titles of Donât Stop Believing and Any Way You Want It are banned from this bonus, please check out the FAQ for more info!
These are not obligatory restrictions, however following them will be rewarded with an additional point in the favorites column for every bonus. In other words, stories that donât include any of the restrictions will start off with 0 base favorite votes, those that do - with 1, 2 or 3.
Please write down where and how you used the bonuses AND which song you decided to use for the title at the beginning of the submission to make sure the mods can verify your points (the note will be removed before posting except for the song.) If youâre not sure if your story meets the requirements for the bonuses, you are free to contact us to check.
Read the contest rules before participating. Weâll be accepting submissions through the submit button on our blog starting today till Midnight (on Baker Island, GMT-12) of April 8th (to account for Elsanna Week for those participating). Please remember to submit anonymously to make sure the voting is impartial!
If you have any questions, read the monthâs FAQ, send us an ask or join us on discord.
Happy writing!

Makes sure the work includes Major Character Death.
Check your work for errors/typos (beta is not required but encouraged)
If you gift your work to the prompter, don't include any DNW's.
How to post your work
Go to our collection page right here and click the button post to collection
Fill in the information as you normally would (rating, characters, tags, etc.), keep in mind that you have to use either the Major Character Death or the Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings warning on your work, as your work should include MCD.

Your work will not immediately be added to the collection, since it's a moderated collection and we accept each work individually. (For you as the creator, it will show the creator as "anonymous (your name)", for anyone else it'll just be anonymous.
After posting to the collection
Send us an email. You should have our email since we sent you the confirmation email, but it's [email protected]. This is to confirm you submitted it.
In that email, send us the following header (filled in with your work's information):
