Scorpius Delecti by Rhonda Krafchin. Wayne Pygram adds a taste of evil to the Farscape experience.
Wayne Pygram deliciously etches Farscape's master villain, Scorpius.
Wayne Pygram likes to tell a story from his first day on set of Farscape playing resident baddie Scorpius. After hours in the makeup chair, the Australian actor emerged onto the soundstage decked out in full costume--a slinky, black, reptilian getup, bombardier-style helmet and full facial prosthetics that turned Pygram's face into a grotesque, grimacing, skeletal head with bad dental work and deep-set eyes. The five-minute camera test was the first glimpse anyone had had of the new character.
"The whole set literally stopped," Pygram recalls. "Everyone put down tools and was looking at me: 'What the hell is that?'" Pygram pauses, relishing the memory. "I felt the power. I had walked into a room and everyone stopped. I automatically felt the seduction. Then I walked up to a friend and started talking to her about her son. How was he? How was it going at school? She had no idea it was me. And the look in her eyes, the fear in her eyes, having this skull talking to her in detail about her son. From that day on, I knew I didn't have to do much. All I have to do is stand there and speak, and people are going to listen because the image is so potent. He's spooky."
Though Scorpius was originally intended only for a four-episode story arc on Farscape, the character just proved too

Joe: Even though HHH isn't a paid gig, I did want to express some thanks. Here are two to the fourth royal emeralds. That's an exponential gain and a llama, enjoy a llama. Cleo: I-I-I do enjoy a llama, why is there a llama? Joe: I wanted to say thank you :)

I want more Apollo that has obscure crime knowledge and everyone thinks itā€™s because heā€™s a lawyer but really itā€™s just his Illegal Revolutionary Heritage from being raised by technically criminals.
ā€œ~Theeena, drive faster, weā€™re gonna be late to the trial!ā€ ā€œI wouldnā€™t mind speeding normally, Truce, but there is a speedtrap like, right there. And getting pulled over would make us more late than we already are.ā€ *Apollo, lying in the back seat and Suffering Greatly* ā€œIf they donā€™t have their window down they canā€™t actually clock you because LiDAR doesnā€™t work through glass. They just park cops there to discourage speeders.ā€
ā€œHah! This might be the evidence we need to charge Mr. and Mrs. Cou with conspiracy!ā€ *Apollo, rubbing his temples* ā€œNo, that wonā€™t stick unless we can prove there was a third party, since the two people weā€™re trying to accuse happen to be married. Classic loophole.ā€

Just gazing intently at your coworker while you play chess with the most unintentionally phallic pawns ever.

This woman has literally no reason to be on the bridge except so that Mitchell can grab her arm in a way that Spock can mirror exactly one minute later. It does not surprise me that this show invented slash.

another fun fact you won't know if you aren't into ukrainian tiktok: russians constantly say that we don't have culture and everything good in our contry was made by them; and yet. every single hit that trends in ukraine. they steal. often without understanding the context of the original song and/or making an atrocious "cover" that insults both the song and the russian language (i need therapy after "Š½Šµ тŠ²Š¾Ń Š²Ń–Š¹Š½Š°" in russian)

Honestly, the fact that Descendants 3 had a chance to show Mal MAYBE having reconsidered her choice about the Isle by the time her lies are revealed but didnā€™t, really is the film failing her character even more. They could have easily had her say she had made that choice, but she regrets it and wants to bring more kids off the Isle. Sure, she could be in trouble still for lying, but at least it doesnā€™t show her after all theyā€™ve been through by that point, still deciding to abandon the children on the Isle for two incidents they were not responsible for!

thinking about how sungjoon comes off as impulsive and loud and the type that acts before he thinks twice. heā€™s confident, self-assured, violent - to the point of losing himself in some points. he clashes with authority as much as he follows through; the type that listens to the rules and then makes his own. he laughs when heā€™s accused of being a murderer in a courtroom full of people. heā€™s the type that one would think is completely unaffected by other people, cares about them but not their opinion of him, and yet. yet. underwriting all of that is vulnerability, clear as day. sungjoon is anxious, wavering in the face of his family, swallowing everything back and lowering his eyes, curling in his shoulders, softening his spine. he doesnā€™t laugh when eunki calls him out on being secretive and lying, doesnā€™t react explosively or defensively. he curls in on himself, lets his eyes tell a thousand stories, opens his heart up on his sleeve like a book for her to read. towards sunghoon he overextends, overexplains, follows him like an eager child, even when the door is shut in his face, even when he gets a cold shoulder over and over again. he never gives up. he never stops trying. because under it all, sungjoon is still seeking attachment, clinging to what he was and afraid to form any more, but starving for it. itā€™s written all over his face - the fear that heā€™ll be abandoned, that heā€™s losing himself, that his brother doesnā€™t trust him, etc.
#star stumbles#blind#tvn blind#kdrama#blind kdrama#holds him in the palm of my hand and puts him in his pocket#this was supposed to mainly be about the clear anxiety sungjoon exhibits#especially in his eyes#especially around his family#(no 1 reason the ryus should just. leave him be)#like that is a child that is starved for affection and love and attachment#who grew up still seeking it because obviously his parents did not give him shit#i think how people react to others tends to be more telling than their actions at points#and sungjoon definitely represents that#like despite getting violent and obviously having a history of school violence#he never directs his anger towards 'innocents'#he never loses his cool with eunki or yuna or anyone else#he doesn't lash out - at least not at people who don't 'deserve' it#and yes i'm treading on thin ice with that claim but whatever#still thinking about his fight with sunghoon and then conversations with eunki#how he opens up to her emotionally and lets her see that vulnerability#and when he's with sunghoon he's always vulnerable. of course he is. sh IS his achilles flaw and vice versa definitely#but like he cloaks that vulnerability. he opens up to his brother but he treads so carefully#ready to pull back at the minute it goes sideways#and there's that anxiety... the cautious way he treats their conversations at times#and even when sunghoon was yelling at him or asking him if he killed someone or other cold stuff#sungjoon might snap back and argue but he always holds his tongue in the end.#i don't feel normal about him

I have to wonder as the Rebellion went on... did the Spectres become somewhat of a legend between the Rebels? Like because of the level of secrecy with the Rebellion different cells probably only heard of one another until the Battle of Yavin and after, but some rebels straight up don't think that the Spectres are actually a thing which ties into them basically being Ghosts.
Like people know that Hera is General Syndulla and have seen a Lasat walking around and a C1-10P astromech murdering people's kneecaps if they get in its way but most people thought it was a coincidence until Luke appeared and suddenly people started to question if ALL the crazy stories of the rebellion, include that of the SPECTRES, were real??
They were one of the first few rebel cells, lead by the daughter of a Clone Wars legend who is supposedly better than Luke and Han at flying and could literally fly through everything that was a married to one of the last few Jedi but anyone who is still alive that remembers him doesnt want to engage in gossip so people question if Kanan was actually real even with Jacen around. AND their crew was made up of a supposed extinct Lasat warrior and his ex-ISB agent boyfriend who escaped the empire after playing a part in the genocide of said Lasats but who also was responsible for warning the early rebellion to avoid them being decimated, a Mandalorian artist who was the Manda'lor at some point and played a major role in uniting the remaining jedi and mandalorians, the first Jedi padawan in nearly 20 years at that point who supposedly was so powerful he took out the Empire's greatest strategist and his entire FLEET with a ragtag group of criminals and a pod of SPACE WHALES, who ended the Clone Wars with a simple conversation and common sense, who TIME-TRAVELLED using a magic force gods moving painting, and who survived smack-talking DARTH FUCKING VADER, EMPEROR PALPATINE AND LIKE TEN INQUISITORS AS A TEENAGER and a astromech with the highest body count of the entire rebellion.
Like tell me people didn't believe it was just Rebellion propaganda. Especially Luke since Yoda told him that he was the last Jedi until he was face to face with Ezra, Ahsoka, Grogu etc and just side-eyes Force-Ghost Yoda like "technicality, spoke of i did".
Can you imagine Luke and Han running into the Ghost Crew and being like "you're real???!" and Leia just takes the caf that Hera offers her behind them and shrugs just saying "I told you...". Like Leia and Chewbacca knew the Ghost Crew either as themselves or through friends informing them on them but just let Luke and Han convince themselves they weren't real because everything they did sounds so ridiculous unless you were there.
